Another important thing is to pay attention in class. You have to listen carefully to what the teacher is saying, and ask questions if you don't understand something. It's important to be an active learner and not just passivelysit in the classroom.3. Also, I think it's important to have a positive attitude towards learning English. If you think it's too difficult or you don't like it, then it will be hard foryou to improve. So, try to find ways to enjoy learning English, such as watching English movies or chatting with English speakers.4. In addition, I believe that setting goals for yourself can be very helpful. 北京 2023年 中考英语范文

北京 2023年中考英语范文In recent years, environmental issues have become increasingly pressing problems that affect our daily lives. As a student living in Beijing, a bustling metropolis, I often witness the impact of environmental degradation, such as air pollution, waste accumulation, and loss of biodiversity. This has made me realize the importance of protecting our environment, not just for ourselves, but for future generations.Firstly, air quality has been a significant concern in Beijing. The thick smog often envelops the city, making it difficult to breathe and contributing to various health problems. As young people, we should promote the use of public transportation, bicycles, and other eco-friendly options to reduce air pollution. By taking small steps like carpooling with friends or walking to school, we cancollectively make a considerable difference and inspireothers in our community to follow suit. Moreover, waste management is another critical aspect of environmental protection. In our daily lives, we produce a large amount of waste, much of which ends up in landfills. As responsible citizens, we must adopt the habit of recyclingand reusing materials whenever possible. Schools can play a vital role in this effort by organizing awareness campaigns and encouraging students to participate in recycling programs. Observing proper waste segregation can not only help reducethe burden on landfills but also promote a cleaner and healthier environment.Additionally, the loss of biodiversity is an alarmingissue that we cannot ignore. Urbanization often leads to the destruction of natural habitats, threatening countlessspecies with extinction. As individuals, we can contribute to preserving our environment by participating in afforestationprojects or supporting organizations dedicated to wildlife conservation. Understanding the significance of biodiversity and taking active steps to protect it can ensure a balanced ecosystem. In conclusion, the responsibility of protecting our environment lies with each one of us. By taking initiativeand encouraging our peers, we can create a ripple effect that fosters a culture of environmental consciousness. As students, we are the future leaders and must be proactive in environmental protection efforts. Let us work together to promote sustainability and ensure that our planet remains a beautiful and vibrant place for generations to come. The time to act is now; our actions today will shape the world of tomorrow.。

2024年北京中考二选一英语作文范文参考English Composition: The Choice of 2024 Beijing Middle School Exams In the year 2024, the Beijing Middle School Exams present a pivotal moment for students, a crossroads where they must make a significant choice that will shape their future. This year's exam offers a unique challenge: a two-option question that requires not only academic prowess but also a deep understanding of one's own aspirations and values. As the day of the exams approaches, the city of Beijing buzzes with anticipation. Students, teachers, and parents are all caught up in the whirlwind of preparation, each with their own hopes and expectations. The two-option question stands as a metaphor for the choices we all must make in life, a reminder that every decision carries weight and consequence. The first option is a traditional academic challenge, a test of knowledge and understanding that has been the hallmark of middle school exams for generations. It is a path well-trodden, familiar and comforting to many. This option speaks to the value of tradition, the importance of a solid foundation in the core subjects, and the belief that mastering the basics is the key to unlocking future opportunities. The second option, however, is a departure from the norm. It is an innovative question that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. This option is a breath of fresh air, a challenge that invites students to step out of their comfort zones and explore new ways of thinking. It is a testament to the evolving nature of education, where adaptability and innovation are increasingly valued alongside academic excellence. As a student facing this choice, I am filled with a mix of excitement and apprehension. The first option represents the safety of the known, the comfort of the familiar. It is tempting to choose this path, to rely on the knowledge I have already acquired and the skills I have honed over the years.Yet, the second option calls to me like a siren's song. It promises adventure, the thrill of discovery, and the opportunity to grow in ways I cannot yet imagine. It is a choice that aligns with my desire to push boundaries, to learn not just for the sake of passing exams, but totruly understand the world around me and my place within it.In making my choice, I am reminded of the words of the ancient philosopher Confucius, who said, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." As I stand at the crossroads of the 2024 Beijing Middle School Exams, I am choosing not just an exam question, but a path, a direction for my future.I choose the second option, not because it is easy, but because it is hard. I choose it because it challenges me to be my best self, tothink beyond the confines of traditional learning, and to embrace the uncertainty that comes with innovation. I choose it because I believe in the power of knowledge to transform lives, and I am ready to be a partof that transformation. As I prepare to face the exams, I am filled with a sense of purpose.I know that the choice I have made will not be easy, but I am ready for the journey ahead. I am ready to embrace the challenges, to learn, to grow, and to emerge from this experience as a stronger, more capable individual. The 2024 Beijing Middle School Exams are not just an academic milestone; they are a rite of passage, a moment of self-discovery, and a testament to the power of choice. As I stand at the crossroads, I am not just choosing an exam question; I am choosing my future.中文作文:2024年北京中考二选一英语作文范文参考2024年,北京中考为学生们带来了一个关键时刻,一个他们必须做出重要选择的十字路口,这个选择将塑造他们的未来。

北京英文中考作文英文:As a student in Beijing, I have experienced the pressure and challenges of the English exam in the middle school entrance exam. In my opinion, the key to success in this exam is to have a good understanding of English grammar and vocabulary. To improve my English skills, I have been reading English books and watching English movies. This has not only helped me improve my vocabulary, but also my listening and speaking skills. I also practice writing English essays regularly, which has helped me improve my grammar and sentence structure. However, I understand that not everyone has the same resources or opportunities to improve their English skills. Some students may not have access to English books or movies, or may not have access to a tutor or teacher whocan help them with their English studies. In this case, I would recommend using online resources such as language learning apps or websites. I'm going to tell you all about my school life and some other fun stories. Get ready for some laughs and maybe you'll learn something too!First up is my school. It's a huge building with lots of classrooms, a playground, and even a swimming pool! My favorite subject is English because I get to learn about other countries and cultures. I really want to travel the world one day. Math is pretty tough but I'm working hard on it. My best friend Xiaoli helps me a lot with those tricky equations. At lunchtime, we all head to the cafeteria which has the most delicious dumplings! I could eat a whole plateful. Sometimes we have special treats like jianbing crepes or sugar candies. Yum! After lunch, we have more classes but my favorite part of the day is when school ends. That's playground time! The playground has swings, seesaws, and even a big open field for running around. Xiaoli and I like to play tag or just hang out under the trees. We make up crazy games and stories to entertain ourselves. One time, we pretended we were famous explorers trekking through a jungle. We used branches as walking sticks and vines as ropes to cross an imaginary river! It was so much fun.On weekends, my parents sometimes take me and my little sister to interesting places around Beijing. Last month, we went to the Beijing Zoo and saw all the cool animals up close! The pandas were definitely the crowd favorite, munching away on bamboo shoots. They looked like lazy, fluffy bears just lounging around. The monkeys were hilarious too, swinging from branch to branch and making silly noises. I'll never forget the mighty roar of the lion - my sister got such a fright, she started crying!During winter break, we took an exciting trip to Harbin for the famous Ice and Snow Festival. Everything was made of ice - giant sculptures, sprawling ice palaces, even a huge slide carved out of a frozen waterfall! We went sledding down slopes, made snow angels, and drank hot sweetened vinegar to keep warm. I'd never seen anything like those dazzling ice lights at night. They shimmered in every color you can imagine! One of my favorite annual events in Beijing is the Spring Festival when we celebrate Chinese New Year. The streets are lined with red lanterns and every family cleans their home from top to bottom. On New Year's Eve, we watch the amazing televised gala show featuring dancers, singers, comedy acts and more. At midnight, we set off firecrackers and dragon dances fill the streets!Last year for the Year of the Tiger, my grandparents gave me and my sister little red envelopes stuffed with cash. We felt like the luckiest kids ever! After feasting on dumplings and noodles for luck, we got to stay up late playing games and watching more fireworks. The best part was three full weeks with no school! Pure bliss.Well, those are some of the highlights from my Beijing life so far. From my huge modern school to historic festivals, there's always something exciting happening here. I hope you enjoyed my stories and got a little taste of the fun. Until then, xia yi ci jian!篇2My Favorite Pet (200 words)I have a pet dog named Buddy. He is a golden retriever, and he is the best pet ever! Buddy is so cute and fluffy, and he loves to play fetch with me in the park. Whenever I come home from school, he gets really excited and wags his tail like crazy. He always makes me laugh when he chases after squirrels in our backyard. Sometimes, he even does silly tricks like rolling over or giving me a high-five. At night, Buddy sleeps at the foot of my bed, and I feel so safe and happy having him by my side. I brush his fur every day, and he loves getting treats when he's been a good boy. Buddy is not just a pet; he's my best friend! My Dream Vacation (220 words)If I could go anywhere in the world for a vacation, I would choose to go to a tropical island! I've always dreamed of visiting a place with crystal clear blue waters, white sandy beaches, and lots of palm trees. I would love to go snorkeling and see all the colorful fish swimming around the coral reefs. It would be so much fun to build sandcastles on the beach and collect seashells.I bet the sunsets on a tropical island are absolutely breathtaking! During the day, I would go swimming and play beach games like volleyball or frisbee. At night, I would roast marshmallows and tell spooky stories around a campfire. I would also love to learnhow to surf or go on a banana boat ride. A tropical island vacation would be the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Plus, I would get to taste all kinds of delicious tropical fruits like pineapples, mangoes, and coconuts. Spending time in paradise with my family would be a dream come true!My Favorite Book (230 words)One of my all-time favorite books is "Charlotte's Web" by E.B. White. It's a classic story about a pig named Wilbur and his friend Charlotte, who is a spider. In the beginning, Wilbur is scared because he finds out that he's going to be killed for food. But then Charlotte promises to save him by writing words in her web to describe what an amazing pig Wilbur is. The farmer and his family are so impressed by the words in Charlotte's web that they decide to keep Wilbur alive. Charlotte and Wilbur become the best of friends, and they have so many fun adventures together in the barn. However, towards the end of the book, Charlotte grows very old and dies. This part always makes me cry because Wilbur is so sad to lose his dear friend. But before she dies, Charlotte leaves behind a sac of her eggs, and tiny baby spiders are born in the spring. One of the spiders is even named Wilbur Jr. in honor of Charlotte's friend. I love this book because it teaches important lessons about friendship, loyalty, andappreciating the miracle of life. The descriptions of the barn and the animals are so vivid and beautiful. Whenever I read this book, I wish that I could visit the setting and meet characters like Wilbur and Charlotte. My Favorite Sport (225 words)Basketball is definitely my favorite sport! I started playing basketball when I was in second grade, and I've been obsessed with it ever since. There's just something so exciting andfast-paced about dribbling the ball down the court and trying to score as many points as possible. Whenever I play basketball, I feel like I can run and jump higher than ever before. It's such an incredible feeling when you make a perfect shot and hear the swish of the net. Of course, I don't always make every basket, but that just motivates me to keep practicing my aim and technique.I love being part of a basketball team too. It's so much fun doing drills and scrimmaging with my teammates during practices. We all encourage and cheer each other on, whether we're winning or losing. My coaches have taught me so much about the importance of teamwork, determination, and good sportsmanship. Basketball has also helped me stay fit and healthy. Running back and forth across the court for an entire game really gets my heart pumping! Some of my biggest basketball heroes are players like Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and Diana Taurasi. I dream of one day becoming a professional basketball star and playing in huge arenas in front of thousands of fans. But for now, I'm just focused on improving my skills, working hard, and having a blast playing my favorite sport.A Person I Admire (200 words)There are many incredible people in the world, but the person I admire most is my mom. My mom is the hardest working and most selfless person I know. She has a really important job as a nurse at the hospital, but she still manages to take care of my brother and me so well. She wakes up bright and early every morning to make us breakfast and pack our lunches for school. After her long day at work, she still finds time and energy to help us with our homework, drive us to activities, and make us a delicious home-cooked dinner. My mom never complains, even when she's exhausted. She's just always so patient, kind, and loving towards our whole family. But my mom doesn't just take care of us - she also volunteers at the local food bank and animal shelter. She's always willing to lend a helping hand to others in need, whether it's raking a neighbor's leaves or donating clothes and toys thatwe've outgrown. My mom sets an amazing example through her generosity and compassion. She has taught me so much about the importance of working hard while still making time to serve the community. I want to grow up to be just like my incredible, selfless, hard-working mom. She is my real-life superhero!篇3My Life as an Elementary School StudentHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a 5th grade student at Bright Future Elementary School in Beijing. I'm eleven years old and live with my mom, dad, and little sister Huahua who is eight. I thought I'd tell you all about my daily life and the things I like to do!Every morning, my mom wakes me up at 6:30am. I get dressed in my school uniform - navy blue pants and a white polo shirt with our school's emblem on it. For breakfast, I almost always have congee (savory rice porridge) with some pickles and fried dough sticks. Yum!The school bus comes to pick me up at 7:15am. The ride takes about 20 minutes. My best friend Xiaolai lives a few blocks away so he gets on at the second stop. We always sit togetherand chat about video games, comics, or whatever else kids our age like to discuss. Our first class starts at 8am sharp. In elementary school here, we have lessons in Chinese language, math, science, history, art, music, and physical education. My favorite subjects are definitely math and science. I'm really into outer space and want to be an astronaut when I grow up so I can travel to other planets! In math class, we're learning about fractions and decimals. It's kind of tricky but I'm getting the hang of it. Science is the best - last week we did an experiment where we made little rockets out of film canisters and launched them by putting Alka-Seltzer tablets and water inside. So cool!Chinese is probably my least favorite subject. There are just so many complex characters to memorize. Art class is fun though - lately we've been learning traditional Chinese brush painting techniques. I made a pretty decent painting of a koi fish last month. We get a break for lunch at 12pm. The cafeteria food is okay, but not as good as my mom's cooking of course. After lunch there's more classes until 3:30pm, when we're finally free to go home. Phew, what a long day!The school bus drops me off at my apartment complex around 4pm. I love getting home and taking my uniform off to get into comfortable clothes. I'll have a snack like some fresh fruit or a few cookies with warm soy milk. Then it's homework time until dinner at 6:30pm. I have to practice writing Chinese characters, do math worksheets, read chapters from our science or history books, and so on. Sometimes I need my mom or dad's help if I get stuck on something. For dinner, my favorite dishes are kung pao chicken, mapo tofu, or nice hot bowls of hand-pulled lamian noodles. My parents always cook really tasty, authentic Chinese food. After dinner around 7:30pm, I'll hang out and play video games, read comic books, or watch cartoons on TV for a little while. At 8:30pm it's time to get ready for bed - take a shower, brush my teeth, put on pajamas. Lights are out by 9pm so I can get a good night's sleep before the next school day.On weekends, I get to sleep in late which is the best feeling ever. I don't have any classes on Saturday or Sunday. Sometimes my parents will take me and Huahua to fun places in Beijing like the parks, museums, or to try some new restaurant. My favorite place we've gone is probably the Palace Museum in the Forbidden City. Wandering through all the amazing historic buildings and seeing ancient artifacts gave me a really cool glimpse into dynastic China. I dream of one day being an emperor myself and governing the masses with wisdom and benevolence!Other weekend days I'll just stay home, play outside with the neighborhood kids, or veg out in front of the TV. Every Sunday evening we have a special family dinner with my grandparents where my grandma cooks up a huge delicious feast. That's pretty much my life in a nutshell! Being an elementary student in Beijing means lot of classes and homework for sure, but I still have time leftover for hobbies, exploring the city with my family, and just being a regular kid. I'm making lots of great memories that I know I'll look back on fondly when I'm older.Who knows, maybe I'll end up being the first person born in the 21st century to walk on Mars someday. A boy can dream, right? For now though, I'm just focused on acing my math tests, improving my Chinese calligraphy skills, and eating as many dumplings as I possibly can. Thanks for reading all about my life!篇4My Awesome School LifeHi there! My name is Lily, and I'm a 5th grader at Sunshine Elementary School. Today, I want to share with you all about my amazing school life! Get ready for some fun stories and exciting adventures!First off, let me tell you about my favorite subject – English class! I just love learning new words and practicing conversations with my classmates. Our English teacher, Ms. Wang, is the coolest! She always comes up with fun games and activities to help us learn. Like this one time, we played a game called "Word Detectives" where we had to find and circle as many English words as we could in a giant word search puzzle. It was like a treasure hunt, but with words instead of treasure! I found so many words, and Ms. Wang gave me a big smiley sticker for my effort. Stickers are the best reward ever!Speaking of rewards, our school has this really neat system where we earn "Sunshine Points" for good behavior and hard work. When we collect enough points, we can trade them in for little prizes or special privileges. Last month, I saved up enough points to get a fancy gel pen set with sparkly ink! I can't wait to use them for my next writing assignment.Recess time is my favorite part of the day, to be honest. Our school has this massive playground with swings, slides, and even a rock-climbing wall! My best friend, Amy, and I love to race each other on the monkey bars and see who can go all the way across without falling. Sometimes we make up cool secret handshakes or play imaginary games where we're brave explorers discovering new lands.Oh, and I can't forget to mention our amazing school cafeteria! They serve the most delicious food ever. My top picks are the fried rice with egg and the sweet buns filled with red bean paste. Yum! During lunchtime, Amy and I like to trade snacks from our lunch boxes and try each other's favorite treats.Once a month, our school organizes a special event or field trip for us. Last time, we went to the Beijing Science Museum and got to see all sorts of cool exhibits on space exploration, dinosaurs, and even a planetarium show! The best part was the hands-on experiment zone where we could make our own little volcanoes erupt with baking soda and vinegar. So much fun!Art class is another favorite of mine. We get to explore all sorts of creative projects like painting, sculpting with clay, and even making our own puppets out of recycled materials. Our art teacher, Ms. Chen, always encourages us to let our imaginationsrun wild and express ourselves freely through art. I made this really cool dragon sculpture out of aluminum foil and pipe cleaners last week, and Ms. Chen displayed it proudly in the hallway!I could go on and on about all the incredible things I get to experience at Sunshine Elementary, but I think you get the idea by now. School is the best! Every day is filled with new adventures, exciting lessons, and opportunities to grow and learn. I feel so lucky to be a part of such an amazing community of teachers, staff, and fellow students.Well, that's all for now, folks! I have to run and get ready for soccer practice after school. Our big game against Oak Tree Elementary is coming up, and I need to practice my penalty kicks. Wish me luck! Until next time, stay awesome and keep learning!Your pal,Lily篇5My Adventures in English WritingHello friends! I'm an elementary school student who loves writing in English. Today, I want to share with you some of myfavorite English essay topics and how I approach them. Get ready for a fun ride!Family and FriendsOne of the most common essay topics is about our family and friends. These people are the most important in our lives, so it's easy to write about them. I usually start by describing my family members – their personalities, hobbies, and what makes them unique. For example, my mom is the most caring person I know, always making sure we're happy and well-fed. My dad, on the other hand, is the funny one who loves cracking jokes and making us laugh. As for my friends, I love writing about the adventures we have together. Whether it's playing games, going on trips, or simply hanging out, every moment with them is special. I try to capture the laughter, the inside jokes, and the memories we make.My Hobbies and InterestsAnother topic I enjoy writing about is my hobbies and interests. I have so many things I love doing, from reading books to playing sports to learning new skills. When I write about these, I try to convey my passion and excitement. For instance, when Iwrite about my love for reading, I might describe the feeling of getting lost in a good book, or the way a particular story touched my heart.I also like to share the challenges I face while pursuing my hobbies and how I overcome them. For example, when I first started playing basketball, I wasn't very good at it. But with practice and determination, I improved and now it's one of my favorite pastimes. My Dreams and AspirationsAs a kid, I have big dreams for the future, and I love writing about them. Whether it's becoming a doctor, an artist, or an astronaut, I try to paint a vivid picture of what that would look like. I might describe the feeling of helping people as a doctor, or the thrill of exploring outer space as an astronaut. But dreams aren't just about careers. I also write about the kind of person I want to become – someone who is kind, brave, and makes a positive impact on the world. I imagine the ways I can contribute to society and make it a better place. My Travels and AdventuresEven though I'm still young, I've had the opportunity to travel to some amazing places. Writing about my travels andadventures is always a joy. I might describe the stunning landscapes I've seen, the delicious foods I've tasted, or the interesting people I've met along the way.One of my favorite travel essays was about a trip to a small village in the mountains. I wrote about the friendly locals who welcomed us with open arms, the breathtaking scenery, and the sense of peace and tranquility I felt there. It was an experience I'll never forget. My Thoughts and OpinionsFinally, I love writing essays that express my thoughts and opinions on various topics. As a curious kid, I have a lot of questions and ideas about the world around me. Whether it's about the environment, technology, or social issues, I try to share my perspective in an honest and thoughtful way.For example, I might write about the importance of protecting our planet and what we can do to combat climate change. Or I might discuss the pros and cons of social media and how it affects our lives. I always strive to back up my opinions with facts and examples, and I'm open to considering different viewpoints.Writing in English is such a joy for me. It allows me to express myself, explore new ideas, and share my experiences with others. I hope that by sharing some of my favorite essay topics, I've inspired you to pick up a pen (or a keyboard) and start writing too. Who knows, maybe one day we'll read each other's work and learn something new!篇6My Awesome WorldHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 5th grader. Today, I want to share with you some of my thoughts and experiences on different topics. Get ready for a fun ride!Family MattersI have the coolest family ever! My parents are the best. They work hard to provide for us and always make time to spend with me and my little brother, even though they're super busy. We love going on picnics, playing games, and telling silly jokes together. My brother can be annoying sometimes, but he's also my best friend. We share everything and have each other's backs. I'm really lucky to have such a loving and supportive family.School DazeSchool is awesome! Well, most of the time. I love learning new things and hanging out with my friends. My favorite subjects are art and English because I get to be creative and express myself. Math can be tricky, but my teacher makes it fun with cool games and activities. The best part of school is recess when we can run around and play. I'm on the soccer team and we recently won a big game! Lunch is pretty good too, except for the Brussels sprouts – yuck!Summer AdventuresSummer vacation is the best time of year! Last summer, my family went on an amazing trip to the countryside. We stayed in a cute little cabin near a beautiful lake. Every morning, we went hiking and explored the forests. I saw so many cool plants and animals! In the afternoons, we swam and built sandcastles. At night, we roasted marshmallows by the campfire and gazed at the stunning starry sky. It was the most magical experience ever!I can't wait for more summer adventures. My Furry FriendI absolutely adore my pet hamster, Fluffy! She's the cutest, fluffiest little thing. Watching her stuff her cheeks with food and run on her wheel always makes me laugh. Sometimes, I take her out and let her crawl around on my bed. She's really curious andloves exploring. Caring for Fluffy has taught me a lot about responsibility. I have to make sure she has enough food, water, and a clean cage. She depends on me and I would never want to let her down. Pets are the best companions!Helping HandsOne of the most important things I've learned is the value of helping others. Last year, our class organized a toy drive for kids at the local children's hospital. It felt so good to put smiles on their faces during a difficult time. This year, we're planning a food drive for families in need. I also try to help out at home by doing chores like taking out the trash and folding laundry. It's not always fun, but I know it makes things easier for my parents. Lending a hand, no matter how small the act, can make a big difference. That's a little glimpse into my world! As you can see, I have a lot of love for my family, friends, and all the amazing adventures life has to offer. Even though I'm just a kid, I've learned so much already. I can't wait to keep growing, exploring, and making the world a better place. Thanks for reading!。

北京英文中考作文

北京英文中考作文

北京英文中考作文英文:As a student in Beijing, I think the English exam is very important for me. It not only tests my ability to understand and use English, but also affects my future study and work. Therefore, I have been preparing for the exam for a long time and I have some tips to share.Firstly, I think it's crucial to build up a solid foundation of vocabulary and grammar. Without these, it's impossible to express yourself accurately and effectively.I usually use flashcards and online resources to memorize new words and phrases, and I also try to read and listen to authentic materials as much as possible to improve my comprehension and fluency.Secondly, I believe that practice makes perfect. It's not enough to just study the theory, you also need to apply it in real-life situations. I often practice speaking andwriting with my classmates and teachers, and I also participate in English clubs and competitions to challenge myself and gain more experience. Finally, I think it's important to stay motivated and confident. Learning a language is not easy and there willbe setbacks and frustrations along the way. However, if you have a positive attitude and believe in yourself, you will eventually succeed. I always remind myself of my goals and the benefits of mastering English, and I also reward myself for the progress I make.中文:作为一名北京的学生,我认为英语考试对我非常重要。

Recently my classmates had a discussion about whether it should be rebuilt or not.Supporters of rebuilding the garden say only by doing so can we see the original sight of the garden, which reflects the Chinese civilization. And it will be another place of interest for tourists. If partly rebuilt, it will provide a comparison and help us rememberthe history. Those who disagree think it more reasonable to keep the garden like this. The ruins will remind us of the past. We should never forget the history. Other buildings like Palace Museum and Summer Palace can also be symbols of the Chinese culture, so it isn’t necessary to rebuild this garden. Some also worry that the environment will be destroyed when the construction goes on in this district.Personally, it is advisable to rebuild Yuanmingyuan , which will add be auty to the city . Before we left, we enjoyed a new English song by Ms. Li.Ms. Li spent a wonderful time with us, but we know that we cannot thank her enough for all her hard work and guidance.北京中考英语作文篇8根据中文提示和英文书信内容,写一封意思连贯、符合逻辑、不少于50词的.回信。

My big bro Xiao Ming just aced the Beijing middle school English essay last year and got into the top school! He's wicked smart, but he shared his secrets with me on how to write a killer English composition. The exam graders don't want you using fancy words they can't comprehend! He did an essay last year about his favorite food (dumplings!) and how his grandma makes the most delicious ones. Using personal experiences you can really describe in detail is key.Next, have a clear structure to your essay. Xiao Ming's dumpling essay had an introduction paragraph explaining what dumplings are and why they're his fave. Then he had three body paragraphs - one describing the tasty filling, one detailing the chewy dumpling wrapper, and one telling the steps his grandma goes through to make them. Finally, he wrapped it up with a conclusion paragraph about how dumplings bring his family together. See, straightforward! But here's the most important tip from my wise big bro - use super simple sentences and vocabulary the graders can totally get. Forget them big complex words! Xiao Ming wrote using language like "Dumplings are very yummy food" and "My grandma puts delicious pork and cabbage inside the dumplings." Basically, write like how we talk as elementary school kids. The graders don't expect middle schoolers to written like genius literary novelists. They just want to see you can piece together logical ideas with decent grammar and vocabulary. As long as you don't make silly mistakes, they'll be impressed with nice simple writing.Oh, and one final pointer - have your parents or teachers read over your essay before the exam. They can catch errors and make sure everything makes sense. My dad helped Xiao Ming improve his dumpling essay a bunch before test day. There you have it, buddies - the secrets to English essay success straight from my brilliant big bro Xiao Ming! My name is Xiaoming and I'm going to tell you all about the bestest day ever when I went to the Beijing Zoo with my mom and dad. It was so much fun!We got up super early that morning because the zoo opens at 7:30am. I was really excited so I hardly slept at all the night before. I just kept thinking about all the awesome animals I would get to see. After we ate breakfast, we took the subway to the zoo entrance. The first animals we saw were the pandas! They were sooooo cute and fluffy. The babies were playing and climbing all over their moms. One of the baby pandas fell out of the tree but it was ok because it just rolled around on the ground before climbing back up. Pandas are really good climbers!Next we went to see the elephants. They were gigantic! Their trunks were so long and they used them to scoop up food and water. I learned that elephants are actually really smart animals. The elephant trainer had them doing tricks like standing on their back legs and kicking balls with their front feet. So cool! After that, it was time for the sea lion show. We got to see them dive effortlessly into the pool and do flips and spins in the air. The trainer made them catch rings and balls. At the end, they even waved goodbye to the audience with their flippers. My favorite part was when they squirted water at some of the people in the front row!We took a break for lunch and I had my favorite - kung pao chicken and rice. It tasted so yummy after walking around all morning seeing the animals. I also got to have a popsicle because it was a hot day.In the afternoon, we went to the reptile house. It was kind of scary seeing all the snakes and crocodiles, but also really neat. The biggest snake was the reticulated python that was over 20 feet long! The zoo worker said it could easily eat a human child. ?I stayed back from the glass a little after hearing that. The last animals we saw were the big cats - lions, tigers, and leopards. They were pacing around looking very sleepy because apparently they are nocturnal and do most of their hunting at night. Still, it was amazing seeing those powerful jaws and claws up close. We learned that lions are the only cats that live together in family prides. At the end of the day, we went to get our picture taken with the giant panda statue outside the main gate. My face was a little messy because I had gotten ice cream just before. Oops!On the way home on the subway, I fell asleep because I was so tuckered out from walking around all day long. When we got home, I played with my stuffed animal toys, pretending theywere the real zoo animals I had seen that day. I can't wait to go back again sometime soon! The Beijing Zoo is the best. The end! I hoped you enjoyed hearing about my awesome day. Don't forget to be kind to animals and the environment so creatures like pandas and elephants can stay around for a long, long time. Thanks for reading my story. Bye!。

I'd like to share some of my plans with you.First of all, I'd like to live a more healthy life during the vacation. Grade Nine is being spent under a lot of pressure, which makes me stay up late almost every day. I clearly know that isn't good for my health, so I'm going to fix that. I will try to get enough sleep every day while getting up early, and keep on doing morning exercises if possible. Secondly, I've decided to read more books. From my point of view, reading not only gives me knowledge, but also opens my mind. There are still a number of books at home which are worth reading but haven't yet been read by me carefully. Since for sure I will have plenty of time in the vacation, I hope that I can go through those instructive books in a patient way. Maybe this would be helpful to high school life, as well. What's more, a friend of mine has just told me that she will visit Beijing and asked if I can act as her guide. I'm quite delighted at the thought of showing her around .On one hand, I can have a wonderful time with my friend, and on the other hand, it will be a good chance for me to know more about Beijing's culture. Considering that she always looks forward to visiting the Great Wall, maybe I'll bring her there on the first day if weather permits.Like the saying that goes "One doer is worth a hundred dreamers", I hope that I can follow my plans and have a nice vacation.环保与健康Dear friends,It’s a great honor to speak here.
