1. I used to be afraid of the dark. 我过去常常害怕黑暗。
used to + 动词原形“曾经是,过去常常”。用于表示过去习惯性的动作或存在的状态,只用于过去时态。其否定形式:used not to ( usedn’t to) 。但在疑问句和否定句中常与did 连用,也可用used。
I didn’t use to/ usedn’t to like her. Did you use to / Used you to go there?
You used to be short, didn’t you./ used you ?
