一、命题趋势 应用文阅读是近几年高考英语阅读理解最常考的题材，在阅 读理解的选材中占有很大的比重。命题者的目的是要考查考生提 取信息和处理信息的能力，所以命题的题型多是以获取信息为主 的细节理解题。
二、题型概述 应用文是最贴近日常生活的文体，它包括通知、广告、便条、 申请书、个人简介、商品说明与介绍、新闻报道等，形式多样， 题材各异，如图示、表格等。英语《考试说明》对“读”的能力 要求之一是：要求考生读懂一般性话题的简短文字材料，例如公 告、说明、广告以及书、报、杂志中的简短文章并能识别不同文 体的特征。研读近年全国各地的高考试题可以看出，应用文是高 考阅读理解命题的重要体裁之一。
四、应用文解题方法 不读内容直接看问题。 •②在解答询问出处和写作意图的题目时，就要能够 理解文章的主旨大意（中心思想）,常采用快速浏览法 ，只要先浏览文章的大标题，小标题，首、尾 段或每 段的首、尾句，再重点寻找主题线索和主题信息即可。 例如，2012年新课标全国卷：

四、阅读理解中应用文的审题、解题方法
审题口诀：
应用文体较容易，快速浏览明大意。 跳读内容重细节，亦可舍文先读题。 相关内容细比对，信息吻合破无机。
四、应用文解题方法 不读内容直接看问题。 根据问题分类查找相应内容。 .①在解答事实细节题时,要在试题中寻找关键的线索词，关键字如 何定位？一是在 设置的问题中找到关键词;二是在原文中 找到相 应的内容。（问题按文章顺序排列） •※注意:一定要忠实于原文。该类题源于 短文,所以在解题时要紧扣 原文,在短文 中找到相应出处,要以此为依据，而不是 想当然地仅 凭自己已有的知识进行答题。
