• The artwork itself is full of tales of marvels ,as it was housed by royal people but was stolen for 5 times. • Since then ,many people lost their lives in the battle of all kinds to get this priceless treasure. • However,nowadays here comes a new question ,whether the painting we have True or not? in Palace Museum now is the true one instead of a imitation?

Characteristic of this painting
• As an artwork intended to show the peaceful life ,preserved in Palace Museum now, the painting was measured 528.7cm in length, with large quantities of many sorts of people , activities,animals as well as buildings in it,making the artwork famous wordwide. • The sence in it tells much about the life in ancient times,showing the special culture of that time,considered as the greatest painting in ancient China .
• For this marvellous painting,its name has been hard to translate over a long time,for somehow the “Qingming” in it doesn’t actually refers to the known festival,which ,whereas,means scene of people living very harmoniously.Since there exists no standard,we call it as what Expo call, Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival .

• Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival was created in Song Dynasty,by Zhang Zeduan,a famous artist,while when and where it was finished remains a mystrery with on one claiming officially.
