My Hometown

My hometown Qichun is a little county of Huhei Province, which is located south of Dabie Mountain,alongside the Yangtze River. There are about one million people living in this developing and civilized county,you can not fail to feel the vitality and prosperity of this place.

The earliest known founding of Qichun was in 201 BC. So there are many famous people in the long history. Such as the famous herbalist Li Shizhen, who was born and lived in Qizhou town, on the southern edge of my hometown.He wrote the compendium of Materia Medica which has been held in high esteem since it was first published.In particular, Qichun four treasures recorded in compendium of Materia Medica are Agkistrodon acutus, Mossback tortoise, Artemisia argyi and Flute bamboo which have a special effect in medicine.In turn, Qichun is a major center of the herbal industry in China.In addition to the famous herbalist Li Shizhen, Qichun County is known in China as the "County of Scholars" because more professors and doctors were born there than in any other county of China

When it comes to tourist spot，I have to say a lot about some beautiful places in my hometown. The highest mountain is Dabie Mountain.While you are climbing the mountain,you can enjoy the sea of clouds,wondrous pines and unique rocks around you . In the early morning when the sun rises,the sky looks very beautiful.There are many temples in the hillside. You can also enjoy the Buddhist culture.Beside the hill there is a Clear lake and there are many fishes in it.During every summer vacationmy ，my friends and I go fishing and play with water.And sometimes we go to rafting upon the water.Tourists from all over the country come to my hometown to enjoy its natural and historical heritages.What’s more,the climate here is very warm which is very suitable for people to do some outdoor activities.

Now I am away from my hometown. But no matter where I go, I’ll never forget her. Everything that it has given me can be given by other places. But It’s impossible for my love to be changed, because it is my hometown. I’ll love my hometown all my life.
