错误分析：

join作为及物动词时.它的意思是“参加”，但它往往是指参加俱乐部或协会，进而成为其中的一员，从时间概念上来看，更为长远些。例如:

参军

join the army

约翰参加了一个健身俱乐部。

John joined a health club.

王先生加入了中国共产党。

Mr. Wang joined the Communist Party of China.

事实上，常常与Ply搭配的动词是。om。或者是go，如go a wild Party"(参加一个野外聚会).或者come to a christmas party(参加一个圣诞晚会)。

地道英语说法：

错误分析：

无论是在英语中，还是在汉语中，形容词都是不可或缺的。英语中，几个形容词同时做定语时应当遵行“靠近”原则，即越能说明被修饰词本质属性的越靠近该词。当一个词的几个修饰词所表达的属性很难区别先后时，就依靠词的长短来决定，短的在前，长的在后。此句中，最能说明“中国”性质的定语是“社会主义的”，因此，socialist应最靠近被修饰词。

地道英语说法：

We will build China into a modem powerful socialist country.
