第1篇Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed faculty, and fellow students,Good morning/afternoon! It is a great pleasure to stand before you today to share my thoughts on the incredible journey we are all on together –our college experience. As we gather here today, I am reminded of the countless moments of growth, learning, and discovery that have shaped us into the individuals we are now. In just three minutes, I will attempt to encapsulate the essence of our college journey, emphasizing the importance of embracing challenges and fostering a sense of unity among us.First and foremost, college is a place where we are presented with a plethora of opportunities. From academic pursuits to extracurricular activities, we are constantly exposed to new ideas and experiences. This diversity allows us to explore our passions, talents, and interests, ultimately shaping our future careers and personal growth. As we navigate through these opportunities, we must remember to embrace challenges. Challenges are not obstacles; they are stepping stones that propel us forward. By facing them head-on, we learn resilience, adaptability, and determination – qualities that will serve us well beyond the confines of our college years. One of the most significant challenges we face in college is academic rigor. The transition from high school to college can be daunting, as we are expected to take on more complex subjects and engage in deeper critical thinking. However, this challenge is precisely what makes our college experience so valuable. We learn to manage our time effectively, develop strong study habits, and collaborate with peers to achieve common goals. These skills are transferable to any field we choose to pursue, ensuring that we are well-prepared for the real world. In addition to academic challenges, we must also navigate the social aspect of college life. Making new friends, adjusting to a new environment, and balancing personal and academic responsibilities can be overwhelming. However, it is through these experiences that we learn to be adaptable and compassionate individuals. We learn to communicateeffectively, resolve conflicts, and build lasting relationships. These social skills are crucial in any professional setting, as they enable us to work collaboratively and contribute positively to our communities. As we face these challenges, it is essential to remember that we are not alone. Our college journey is a collective experience, and we must support one another along the way. This sense of unity is what will make our time here memorable and meaningful. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, we can create a space where everyone feels valued and motivated to succeed. We can achieve this by engaging in the following ways:1. Show empathy and respect towards one another. We must recognize that everyone has unique backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. By being open-minded and understanding, we can create a more harmonious community.2. Encourage collaboration and teamwork. We have the opportunity to learn from one another and grow together. By working together onprojects and activities, we can develop a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose.3. Celebrate our successes and support each other in times of struggle. We should take pride in our achievements and be there for our peers when they need us most. This will foster a positive and supportive atmosphere.4. Take advantage of the resources available to us. Our college offers a wide range of services and opportunities that can help us succeed academically, personally, and professionally. We should not hesitate to seek out these resources and make the most of them.In conclusion, our college journey is a tapestry of challenges, growth, and unity. By embracing challenges, we learn valuable life skills and prepare ourselves for the future. By fostering a sense of unity, we create a supportive community where everyone can thrive. As we continue to grow and learn together, let us remember that our college experience is a gift, and it is up to us to make the most of it.Thank you for listening, and let us continue to embrace the challenges and grow together in this incredible journey of college life.[Applause]第2篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon, everyone. It is my great honor to stand before you today to share with you some thoughts on our university journey. As we are about to enter the final year of our undergraduate studies, it is a time for reflection, for gratitude, and for looking forward to the future. I would like to take this opportunity to speak for all of us, the students of this esteemed university, about the challenges we have faced, the lessons we have learned, and the bonds we have forged.First and foremost, let us acknowledge the challenges that have shaped our university experience. As we stepped onto this campus three years ago, we were all excited, yet nervous about the unknown. The transition from high school to university was not an easy one. We had to adjust to a more independent lifestyle, manage our own schedules, and navigate through a vast array of academic and social opportunities.Academically, the workload increased significantly. We were no longer just memorizing facts but were expected to analyze, synthesize, and critically think about the subjects we studied. The rigorous curriculum, along with the pressure to excel, posed a considerable challenge. However, it was through these challenges that we learned the value of perseverance and the importance of hard work.Socially, we were exposed to a diverse group of people with different backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. This diversity was bothexciting and daunting. We had to learn to respect and appreciate our differences while finding common ground. It was through these interactions that we grew as individuals and as a community. One of the most significant challenges we faced was the balance between academic and personal life. As students, we are expected to excel in our studies, participate in extracurricular activities, and maintain a healthy social life. This juggling act required us to develop timemanagement skills and to prioritize our tasks effectively. The result was a more well-rounded and mature individual.Despite these challenges, we have also had the opportunity to grow and learn from our experiences. One of the most valuable lessons we have learned is the importance of resilience. When faced with setbacks, we have learned to pick ourselves up, learn from our mistakes, and move forward. This resilience has not only helped us to overcome obstaclesbut has also prepared us for the future.Another lesson we have learned is the power of collaboration. In our university journey, we have worked together on numerous projects, both academically and extracurricularly. Through these experiences, we have realized that when we pool our resources, share our ideas, and work as a team, we can achieve great things. This collaborative spirit has notonly strengthened our bonds but has also equipped us with the skills needed to succeed in the professional world. Moreover, our university journey has taught us the importance of self-discovery. As we explore different subjects, participate in various activities, and interact with diverse individuals, we have gained abetter understanding of ourselves. We have discovered our passions, strengths, and weaknesses. This self-awareness has allowed us to make informed decisions about our future and to pursue careers that alignwith our values and interests. As we reflect on our university journey, we must also express our gratitude. We are grateful to our professors who have imparted knowledge, inspired us, and challenged us to think critically. We are thankful to our friends and peers who have supported us, laughed with us, and shared in our joys and sorrows. We are grateful to our family and loved ones who have been our pillars of strength and encouragement throughout this journey. Finally, as we look forward to the future, we must remember that our university journey is not over. We will continue to face new challenges and opportunities as we embark on our post-graduation paths. However, wecarry with us the lessons, friendships, and memories that have shaped us into the individuals we are today. In conclusion, our university journey has been one of growth, learning, and bonding. We have faced challenges, overcome obstacles, and emerged stronger and more resilient. We have learned to appreciate diversity, collaborate effectively, and discover ourselves. As we move forward, let us carry these lessons with us, continue to grow, and make a positive impact on the world.Thank you for your attention, and let us celebrate the incredible journey that has brought us to this point. Together, we have made a difference, and together, we will continue to do so.Thank you.第3篇Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed faculty, and fellow students,Good morning/afternoon. It is with great pleasure and a sense of accomplishment that I stand before you today to share with you my thoughts on the incredible journey we are all on as university students. Allow me to take you on a three-minute odyssey through the trials, triumphs, and transformative experiences that define our college years.First and foremost, college is a crucible of challenges. We have all encountered moments of doubt and fear as we navigate the complexities of higher education. The pressure to excel academically, to build a network of connections, and to discover our true calling can be overwhelming. However, it is in these moments of adversity that we find our strength. We learn to adapt, to problem-solve, and to persist in the face of adversity. One of the most remarkable aspects of college is the diversity of experiences it offers. We are exposed to a multitude of cultures, perspectives, and ideas that broaden our horizons and challenge our preconceived notions. Through our interactions with classmates, professors, and guest speakers, we begin to understand theinterconnectedness of our world. This exposure to different viewpoints not only enriches our personal growth but also equips us with the skills to be effective global citizens.Academic pursuits are, of course, the cornerstone of our college experience. The pursuit of knowledge is both exhilarating and demanding. We delve into subjects that ignite our curiosity and expand our understanding of the world. Whether it be the intricacies of quantum physics, the nuances of literature, or the complexities of political science, our studies challenge us to think critically and to question the status quo. The intellectual rigor we encounter in college prepares us for the challenges of the professional world and instills in us a lifelong love of learning.Beyond the classroom, college is a platform for personal growth andself-discovery. We are encouraged to explore our interests, to pursue our passions, and to embrace our unique talents. Whether it be through participating in a sports team, joining a club, or engaging in volunteer work, we find communities that resonate with our values and aspirations. These extracurricular activities not only enhance our social skills but also provide us with opportunities to lead, to collaborate, and to make a positive impact on the world around us.The friendships we forge in college are some of the most enduring and meaningful relationships of our lives. We find ourselves in a constant state of learning and growth as we navigate the complexities of our relationships with peers. Through shared experiences, both joyful and challenging, we learn to be supportive, empathetic, and understanding. These bonds help us to weather the storms of life and provide us with a sense of belonging and purpose. Moreover, college is a time of self-reflection and introspection. As we embark on this journey, we are confronted with questions about our identity, our values, and our future. The process of self-discovery can be both exhilarating and daunting, but it is through this introspection that we come to understand who we truly are and what we are meant to contribute to the world. College is a time to explore our passions, to challenge our beliefs, and to find our voice. In conclusion, college is a remarkable journey that is filled with challenges, triumphs, and transformative experiences. It is a time to grow intellectually, to broaden our horizons, and to discover our true potential. As we continue on this path, let us embrace the journey with enthusiasm, courage, and determination. Let us strive to be the best versions of ourselves, to learn from our mistakes, and to leave a positive mark on the world. In the spirit of our shared experience, let us remember that college is not just about academic achievements; it is about the personal growth, the friendships, and the memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. Thank you for your attention, and may we all find success, fulfillment, and happiness in our college odyssey.Thank you.。

大学生英语演讲比赛稿3分钟8篇大学生英语演讲比赛稿3分钟 (1)I grew up with all kinds of dreams. Today I want to share two of them. They both have to do with playing musical instruments. When I was four, Mom bought me an electric piano. The black instrumentstanding in the middle of the house scared me. Day after day, I had topractice with my piano teacher. I never liked her, and all I could rememberabout her was her impatient words, “Wrong,”“Wrong” and “Wrong” again. And Mom was always on her side, saying I was not smart enough or I didnot practice hard enough.I did this for a year, but I never developed any interest. I practicedeveryday simply because I had to. Many times in my dreams, I saw the longfaces of Mom and the teacher and heard their stern words. Really, the dreamshould be more appropriately called a nightmare. Then one day, I saw Momtalk with the piano teacher softly, and afterwards, that teacher nevershowed up again, and the piano disappeared, too. Mom was unhappy, but Iwas glad because now I could watch cartoon shows on TV after dinner, neveragain any piano. In a few years’ time, the dream of another instrument started, andit started during an urheen or erhu concert given by a distinguishedmusician. The melodious tune carried me away, and I felt I was lying onthe grassland, indulging myself with mild sunshine and sweet flowers. Asthe music stopped, I realized this had been a beautiful dream, and I wouldlike to continue this dream. That musician later on became my urheenteacher. For two years, he made me practice one hour every day, and theobjective was to have me play urheen with him on the same stage. WheneverI made a mistake, he would also be quite harsh and made me practice evenmore. The pressure was indeed unbearable, but at the same time, the dreamthat started during that concert continued. When I was practicing, thedream seemed to carry me away, and moreover, my parents seemed to be inthe dream too. They sat and listened quietly, as if they were also lyingon the grassland, enjoying the sunshine and flowers. Anyhow, pressure wasmingled with passion, and they worked together in pushing me forward. Eachstep of progress came from hard work but also brought immense pleasure.I admit that in the world of urheen, I was lucky in finding a balancebetween pressure and passion. In real life, however, there is often toomuch pressure, but too little passion, just like my piano nightmare. Fromprimary school on, we have been forced to study day and night, to taketests every day, to copy vocabulary items five times and to recite everylesson in front of the teacher. All the dreams pupils have are the longfaces of their teachers and parents, but not dreams with sunshine andflowers.I hope all teachers will realize that learning cannot go on withoutpassion. I still remember my first urheen performance with my teacher.I was under much stress and didn’t sleep much the night before becauseI knew if I screwed up, it would also affect his reputation. When I walkedonto the stage, I was so nervous that I almost held the urheen upside down. When the lights went on, to my great surprise, I saw my parents, fellowstudents and other teachers sitting on the first few rows, with big smileon their faces. It was just like the time when I was practicing. Passionsuddenly overwhelmed me, and I played so well that night that even myurheen teacher didn’t know why. Of course I knew it, and I know my dreamof playing urheen will continue.大学生英语演讲比赛稿3分钟 (2)Facing this audience on the stage, I have the exciting feeling of participating in the march of history, for what we are facing today is more than a mere competition or contest. It is an assembly of some of China’s most talented and motivated people, representatives of a younger generation that are preparing themselves for the coming of a new century.I’m grateful that I’ve been given this opportunity, at such a historic moment, to stand here as a spokesman of my generation and to take a serious look back at the past 15 years, a crucial period for every one of us and for this nation as well.Though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and only a tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, I believe, the root of a spirit which has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years. In my elementary years, there was a little girl in the class who worked very hard but somehow could never do satisfactorily in her lessons. The teacher asked me to help her, and it was obvious that she expected a lot from me. but as a young boy, restless, thoughtless, I always tried to evade her so as to get more time to enjoy myself. One day before the final exam, she came up to me and said, Could you please explain this to me? I want very much to do better this time. I started explaining, and finished in a hurry. Pretending not to notice her still confused eyes, I ran off quickly. Nat surprisingly, she again did very badly in the exam. And two months later, at the beginning of the new semester, word came of her death of blood cancer. No one ever knew about the little task I failed to fulfill, but I couldn’t forgive myself. I simply couldn’t forget her eyes, which seem to be asking, Why didn’t you do a little more to help me, when it was so easy for you? Why didn’t you understand a little better the trust placed in you, so that I wouldnot have to leave this world in such pain and regret?I was about eight or nine years old at that time, but in a way it wasthe very starting point of my life, for I began to understand the wordresponsibility and to learn to always do my duties faithfully anddevotedly, for the implications of that sacred word has dawned on me: themutual need and trust of people, the co-operation and inter-reliance whichare the very foundation of human society.Later in my life, I continued to experience many failures. But neveragain did I feel that regret which struck me at the death of the girl, for it makes my heart satisfied to think that I have always done everythingin my power to fulfill my responsibilities as best I can.As I grew up, changed and improved by this incident and many othersimilar ones, I began to perceive the changes taking place around me andto find that society, in a way, was in its formative years like myself.New buildings, new commodities and new fashions appear every day.大学生英语演讲比赛稿3分钟 (3) “If I could reach higher, just for one moment to touch the sky…”---this is from my favorite song Reach. When we are appreciating the passionate melody of Gloria Estefan, wecould hardly imagine that she could return to the stage after her paralysis. In the year 1990, this Cuban singer was knocked down in a traffic accident, and the doctor declared that she might never walk again. But Gloria didnot give up and kept up constant exercising. Just one year after thedisaster, she stood up again and presented this encouraging song at theAtlanta Olympics.Whenever I think of Gloria, I can’t help recalling my memory sevenyears ago, when I first entered university. Naturally shy, ordinary looking, average scores in study, just like an ugly duckling, I seemed to be the least outstanding one in my class. And the successive failures in the beginning led me into despair. “Am I destined to take the back seat to others?” Unwilling to submit to the fate, I paid more efforts on my study as well as many other activities, film dubbing, recital, drama… cause I just want to catch every little opportunity to prove myself. Constant effort yields sure success. Thanks to the competition, I received some awards and most of all, I gained the courage and confidence to face any difficulties in my life journey.Life is just like farming, and what you can reap depends a lot on your sowing and dedication. Once you have a dream, don’t be hesitant. Your next difficult step may be the one to the top. Keep going forward, even in the toughest time, and never give up.永不放弃“如果我能到达更高的地方,哪怕只有碰触天空的一刹那…”---选自我所喜爱的歌曲《到达》。

大学英语演讲稿3分钟(精选16篇)大学英语3分钟篇1I received a devastating blow to my self'confidence in the first interview of my college years. I applied to be a host in our Student Acting Troupe and felt confident that I would be accepted. But one of the panel members told me: “You seem inadequate and you are a little vertically'challenged.” My life has never been the same since. I used bigger heels to complement my height and psychological maneuvers and tricks to hide my lack of confidence. But no matter how hard I tried to look the part, there was still something missing. As president of English Club, I organized the rehearsal of Snow White for an English party. Unfortunately, we could not find an actor to be the last dwarf. It had to be someone who was humorous by nature and fluent in English. Suddenly, all eyes turned to me, and I knew I would have to be the dwarf. To my great surprise and delight, once on stage, I was totally absorbed in the performance and my humorous nature was put to full use. As the dwarf, I was a big hit.Yes, each of us is only one among millions of others, but each of us is an individual and each of us is unique. Cultivating our individuality will transform our lives, making of them a kaleidoscope of new colors and textures.A world deprived of diversity would be a bland and boring place. The real tragedy is not being short or shy or ugly, but having your identity lost in a world in which everyone is a clone of a model cool boy or a flawless charming girl.Given a choice, I would rather be ugly than live in such a world. I'd rather be a genuine dwarf accompanying a Snow White than be a Snow White among nothing but Snow Whites. I wouldrather be myself. I would contribute my individual and unique colors to create a more diverse universe. Please, be yourself.大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇2What is One Breath EnglishDear ladies and gentlemen:Thank you for the warm welcome. It's an honor to be here today. I'm here on a mission. I have an important message. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden'like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbedin my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers' guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now I've benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.Learning is a long process; I'll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part'time job in compilation and revision. At the beginning I was belittled by my colleagues. But they were really surprised when I translated seven English articles over 5,000 words on only one day. Gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇4Honourable judges and friendsGood morning! i am very glad to be here to share my college life with you .Two years ago i came into this city of and started my college life the most memorable journey of my life. i was just a shy and little girl that time. all the things seemed fresh to me: new faces large library and physics lab etc. i breathed the air of college greedily i was curious about everything.the class given by the teachers are excellent.they provide us with information not only from our textbook but from other sources as well.i actively involved in student union and varies of association. but soon i realized that i do not make full use of my spare time so i got a part-time job to help a junior student with math lessons besidesialso took part in activities concerning public welfare. we taught the kids there who could not afford school i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn the precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us--future teachers. the enrichment of experience taught me the significance of modestyresponsibilitytoleranceand perseverance.and now i have been here two years. recalling to the two years i think i have to talk about one thing--learning. learn how to study independently learn how to get along with others learn to love learn to… oh there are too much things we have to learn.comparing with senior high school college is a rather different place. there aren’t so many people to watch you and guide you how to do something any more neither are there so many students who share with you one dream. in college you must think and study yourself so you have to learn and practice to control yourself.another relationship in college is friendship. my roommates have lived two years with me. in these years they forgive my faults cry with me laugh with me play with me… they always stand with me and support me i have learned a lot from them. i love them all and treasure the friendship with them.in the next 2 yearsi’ll try my best to and make great contributions to society! that’s my college life. i cherish all i have experienced in college. i love you my college!that’s all thank you!大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇5Look at present mobile phone into the every corner of the society in our life plays a more and more important role. Take. Take. The relationship between a mother and a child always seems to follow such a pattern. I know my mother is always there for me, providing me with everything I need; from food to clothing, from tuition to pocket money. I never thought twice about all she did until one day she said, “Will there be a time that you'll say you have taken enough from me? ”Like a child endlessly asking, we humans, throughout history, have been continually demanding what we desire from nature. We enjoy the comfort and beauty of our furniture, yet we never bother to think about the serious soil erosion caused by deforestation. We take it for granted that we must warm ourselves in winter times, yet we seldom realize the burning away of precious natural resources. We appreciate all the prosperity from the development of modern industry, yet few would give the slightest consideration to the global air and water pollution caused by industrial wastes. Our ruthless exploitation has permanently impaired our mother earth. As we tragically learned from last summer's floods. we cannot continue our carelessness. Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we cannot help thinking of our posterity. Nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but also the mother of the generations to come. How severely our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barren and lifeless mother? How much more they will appreciate us if we give them a world of harmony to inherit? Let us start respecting and caring for nature from now on. Let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and nature right from this moment. With this new start, I firmly believe, that our children, and our children's children will live in a brand new age of green trees, clean air, crystal water, blue sky and an even more promising world!大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇7Nowadays, the employment of college students is becoming more and more of a problem. According to statistics, about 30% of graduate students can't find a job after graduation. These college student who cannot find jobs are at their worst. Why college graduates have difficulty finding jobs? Why is it a big problem that puzzled people for years? The reason for it is various. The main reason has the following points: Firstly, the number of the college student is increasing faster and faster these years. In addition, many colleges and universities fail to adapt their courses to the development of economy.Secondly, It's easy for some students to find work. But the fact is that some students don't want to do the job, they except to find a work with a higher salary. In addition, some graduates did not work hard in college, so they are not competent for jobs they want.Last but not least, some college students cannot come to terms with themselves and with the world around them. They pursue too high goals and are too particular about such factors as working conditions, salary, and so on. Therefore, they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered to them. How can we deal with the problem? In my opinion, students who are in colleges must work harder than before to keep their competitiveness. Only in this way can we find a suitable job. The government should take effective measures to expand employment. I do believe that this problem will be resolved soon. 大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇8The difficulties young Chinese university graduates have had in finding a job over the past few months have been making the headlines in the media and causing concern throughout society. Education professionals in China have all had something to say about it.A good number of them, referring to the current phase of social transition in China, have come out in favour of the mass education programme that has been practised in recent years in Chinese universities. Others have raised doubts about the reliability of the figure of only 70% as the rate of employment for new graduates, which they consider to be alarmist. In fact, according to the statistics provided by the Ministry of Education itself, out of the 2.12 million graduates in the general higher education sector in 20xx, 640,000 had not signed a work contract by the end of their studies In these circumstances, it is understandable that in the current labour market in Shanghai, for example, new university graduates are settling for a monthly salary of 1,200 yuan, slightly more than double Shanghai’s minimum wage, at the same time as they are having to facesignificant overheads (superannuation, unemployment insurance, health insurance, etc.).If we take into account the cost of living in Shanghai (including accommodation, transport and telecommunications), it would appear that the salary of these graduates is barely enough to cover their basic needs . The purpose of this article is to better understand the current unemployment of young graduates, beyond any proposals being put forward in the context of higher education reform.大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇9Bowed their heads and tight stick the screen Beware of high myopia heredity of the next generation to lift your head!Much of the 3 c products into their lives especially in intelligent mobile phone in the past two years show explosive growth portable convenience makes the notebook computer also gradually replaced so make many rely on the mobile phone addiction "down". I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden'like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. Gradually, they began to look at mewith respectful eyes. In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare. I once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. We taught the kids there who could not afford school. While showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, I was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. I couldn't control my tears on the day when we left. The precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.Besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. I do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. We also write a play and put it on in our spare time.Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day they'll become outstanding. But there are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards. They're busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland. Finally, I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country. I do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇12If there are a bunch of good and bad oranges, you should eat good oranges and throw away bad oranges; if you first eatbad oranges, good oranges will deteriorate, and you will never eat good oranges, life is also the case. Oranges are not the only fuit .It means that there are a lot of good things in life, we cant only pursue the only one.It tells us that people should know how to give up the bad and cherish the good. "If you cry only by missing the moon, then you will also miss the stars. "Everyone must know how to forget the past and cherish the present, because now is the most important.Everyone has the past, or happy, or sad. However, the past is only in the past, we cannot go back to the past and bury it deeply in our heart. Most of the time we live in the sun, living in the crowd. Only by knowing how to give up the past we can go further forward. We will always keep optimistic attitude to face all, and we will have great courage in the struggle on the road of life.大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇13man’s life is a process of growing up, actually i’m standing here is a growth. i f a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then i grow up along with these choices. once i hope i can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know i come here, now i wonder what the future holds for (= what will happen to) me.when i come to this school, i told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. following i will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job.once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” i will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process i will combine learning with doing. if i can achieve this “future”, i think that i really grow up. and i deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future.how to say future? maybe it’s a nice wish. lets make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life.大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇14Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen!I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20xx Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to k now China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a uniqueopportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 20xx Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others. At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇15Ladies and Gentlemen:Today I’m glad that I’m standing here talking to you all. As the title given, I am going to talk you about a way of treating people and things in life. My speech here basically includes 2 parts,in the former of which I‘ll describe yo u the present occasion we teenagers are in.,as well as the reason behind. Then it’s about the several opinions of mine toward the caseabove.Undoubtedly, every one of us has stepped into adolescence, a period of time where the mostexciting and mysterious changes take place. Boys, apparently become more ambitious. Girls, in some ways, start to dream and become more sensitive about the world. All in all,as if our emotions become much stronger, somehow we’re always trapped in circles and struggling against something that can’t be changed anyway. We complain about how fragile our friendship is, how little people know about us, how unfair the life is,etc. It seems that every time we fail, we blame it to the tough conditions we’re in, while never notice a problem inside ourselves, that we’re never satisfied.Let’s just imagine that there was an old lady. What she sees was her neighbors’ being mean again while not how kind they were when they took care of her sick body. What she saw was her dog’s annoying barkin g while not how much loyalty it had shown. What she saw was always so depressing that it finally turned her into an unpleasant person. Think about how our life would be if we stand in her shoe. Why don’t we focus our attention on how much we’ve already got in stead? You know it’s really simple to do as there’s a tremendous amount of examples. Like the popular Jetpack Joy Ride on your Iphone, you can enjoy it whenever you like, whereas in some poor area people don’t even know such thing as Iphone.Actually we should be thankful about the richness we’ve got, thankful that with each sunrise taking place we don’t need to starve to call it a day, thankful that the people we love are still in health, that we still got much to hold on. As a saying。

大学英语演讲稿3分钟带翻译(通用12篇)大学英语3分钟带翻译篇1Ladies and Gentlemen ,Good afternoon!I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech.today my topic is “youth”.I hope you will like it ,and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.First I want to ask you some questions:1、 Do you know what is youth?2、 How do you master your youth?YouthYouth is not a time of life,it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks ,red lips and supple knees,it is a matter of the emotions :it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite ,for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 .Nobody grows old merely by a number of years .We grow old by deserting our ideals.Years wrinkle the skin ,but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul .Worry ,fear ,self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .Whether 60 of 16 ,there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living .In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station :so long as it r eceives messages of beauty ,hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite,so long as you are young .When the aerials are down ,and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grownold ,even at 20 ,but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism ,there is hope you may die young at 80.Thank you! 2The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. 关于大学生英语演讲稿3分钟(精选15篇)关于大学生英语演讲稿3分钟篇1Good morning/evening/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen :Today, my speech is about talents,in my opionion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight among countries is actually the fight among talents.First, i'd like to define the word"talent" in my idea, a talent is one person who is good at or expertised in some or multiple areas. nowadays, as the world developing goes on , if one country want to rank top or do a good job in the world, the country must have many talents.for example, china, the biggest developing country in the world, in the past 100 years, is always invaded by other countries, why ,the reason is that china at that time had not so many talents. if they had anti-intrusion leader talents in the war, needless to say, they would have beat those big powers.if they had talents in weapons manufacturing, nodody dares to provoke us.however, nowadays, it's a totally different situation, china has become powerfulin all over the world, why ? because there are many talents serving the country, the civilians become more and more literated.more and more people go to university, more and more people come to receive further education. so what is that in return, talents in army protect our country from invasion, talents in commerce help make our economy keep in improving, talents in aerospace make the world see chinese manned spacecraft flying. talents in sports make china rank the first in the olympic games……To sum up, talents will play a more and more impoetant role in the world, if one country intends to flourish, he must foster talents as many as they can ,that's all, thank you.For a nation's dream, we start from the 1840 sea surface; to a constant pursuit, we deep in the years to write a glorious. In global view shows choice of the Chinese road of national rejuvenation; concentrated panorama in history." Around the millennium change, eventful years, Chinese new century, great turning point, span, the future of six theme, reflects China's great achievements since 1840, arduous and tortuous road of revitalization of the nation and the Chinese people made in China under the leadership of the Communist party. The "shock" "excited" tears ""…… This is my watch, taste right is felt when discourse. Process of reading and rejuvenation of the great, I reviewed the history of the Chinese nation 100 years the dream of power and unremitting exploration. Full and accurate historical data, magnificent momentum, a language, a precious historical pictures, shows a picture of the world national revival. What qualities do you think a friend should have to continue the friendship? Use specific reasons to support your idea.In my heart, I think the most important quality to continue the friendship is sincerity. A true friendship must be built on sincerity. However, to continue a friendship is not a easy thing. Both of each other have to pay a lot. The word sincerity contains too much. Firstly, we need to be frank and honest to each other. Only if when we did so can the other side treat us like the same and thus build belief between friends. A friendship full of lies and deceit shouldn't be called friendship. Secondly, we need to be considerable and do not be self-centered. We should think more for our friends and encourage them on certain occasion. A self-centered friend can be very troublesome and annoying. No one would tolerate him for a long time. Finally, I think we should learn to compromise sometimes. We can't live in harmony forever with our friends. When there expose a disagreement, we should compromise to each other. Only by this way can a friendship last long.Good evening, everyone . May I take this opportunity of thanking you for coming`, my name is ,I'm a sophmore ,major in Chinese from class oneThis is really a great honor to have this opportunity, and I believe I can make good performance today. the next four minutes will change your attitude to internet and society. With the increase of global Internet users and the rapid development of related technology, in recent years, people are developing an inseparable relationship with internet ,as is known to all ,it is convenient for us to click the mouse when surfing on line ,either to entertain or to meet the work’s need .and I still believe that In the near future, the network will affect people's life and society further .One the one hand ,no one denies that internet is currently one of the most useful media in our daily life ,as a college student ,I get on line everyday to obtain and exchange information with it ,we have to say internet do a great help for all of us. Everything lives with opposite forces. The same can be said about modern technology, such as Internet. We also have enough evidence indicating that the Internet can be a harmful influence on people. A great many people admit that they are too much addicted to internet too maintain a regular and health lifestyle . Some children addicted in playing the games on the internet without study .Some of the people using the internet to do some illegal things which loses people's properties and hurt someone's feelings. Thus ,it is necessary for us to use internet in a reasonable way and restrain from overindulgence .after all. internet is invented to enrich our life ,and to improve the effiency of our work rather than shackle us with a chain . I am afraid that the clock is against us, so we had better stop here .You have been a very attentive audience---thank yougood evening, honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen.it’s my great pleasure to stand here to present my speech—change the world, change ourselves.it’s noticable that western holidays are becoming increasingly popular day by day, while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected. not long before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture.frankly speaking, i don’t quite agree with them.indeed, we should never neglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions. (examples).but why can’t we absorb the meaningful western holidays and culture.there are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in china. on the one hand, some of the western holidays which we chinese don’t have are reasonable and meaningful, such as father’s day and april fool’s day etc. on the other hand, the prevalence of globalization enables western culture to prevail in china. overwhelmed by such a trend, chinese unconsiciously get involved in western holidays and culture.with the further development of the whole world, the cultural communication between different countries and nations becomes faster and more and more important. we are indeed from different nations, but we are the citizens of the same world, so the outstanding culture of different nations is the commom wealth of everyone on the earth.the only way for us to protect our traditional culture is to reject the foreign culture? the answer is definitely no. what we ought to do is to spare no effort to educate chinese to get to know and treasure our splendid traditions instead of rejecting foreign culture. only by educating can we set our confidence and belief towards our culture. only by educating can we preserve and promote the wealth that our ancesters left for us.at last i’d like to share a f amouse saying of gandhi with all of you ,that is:if you want to change the world, then you must change yourself first.”We are going to celebrate the 60th anniversary of our motheland.Being a student in China,I feel very happy and proud. With the teachers' and parents'help ,we make great progress every day.We are growing up together with our motherland. With our knowledge and ability, I am sure we will do great contribution to the country.Thank to the motherland,we are going to be stronger and stronger. The future for us must be bright and hopeful.Let's try hard for ourselves, and for our motherland as well.I hope a kid, hope full eyes jade-green grass, free of mind and happy of heart in the heart, also from had a regrets.Regardless nature of the boon grant still mankind of creation, nature give we abundant of imagination and infinite pure and endless Xia think, although they be small but solidify one heart, they mutually hold to hug to each other, under the nourish of the earth, full exertive solidify one coagulate of heart dint, also give nature one Wen Run4 of green space. My favourite super star is JJ , he has a lovely dimple and his eyes are also very lovely . While it is true that students need to study, they need other things as well if they are to grow into healthy and well-rounded adults. High should be allowed more time for play. Playing is not wasting time, as some think. It gives them physical exercise, and also exercise their imagination. Which tends to be stifled by too much study. Finally, the pressure put on high school students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally. I do not advocate the elimination of schoolwork. I do think, however, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to students and to the society as a whole.Finding me time is importantHello, my dear friends, it is my great honor to be here and give a speech. Today I want to talk about the importance of finding *me time*.May I begin my speech by asking you a question? Do you often feel tired, stressed or worried? If you do have these problems, you are lack of me-time to relax yourself. Psychologist tell us that stress is caused by too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life . In my point of view, if you want to have a healthy mind and body, having your own me-time is very important.Let me take myself as an example. I was a carefree and outgoing girl before I entered the junior high school. I had much me-time and did anything I like after class. I kept a lovely pet and whenever I have time I played with her happily. However, the situation is quite different now. When I want to turn on the TV、surf on the internet or go out shopping with my friends, my parents always look at me seriously and say “ Don’t forget to spend more time on your lessons. If you don’t cherish every minute of your time, other students will catch up with you.”So, every day, every moment, I am overwhelmed by all kinds of assignments.I become more and more silent and can’t sleep well before the exams because I’m dressed and worried about my results. I feel so tired and how I want to have me time to relax myself. I long for a period of time that I could walk in a small path in the countryside, sing my favourite song and smell the essence of nature. My dear friends, having your own me-time is important. I firmly believe that achievements depend on our health. If we want to have a more harmonious state to work better, we should find more *me time* and keep off the overwhelm stresses. Talks, jokes, games, fresh air or beautiful scenes will be helpful for you. Trust me, you’ll be more refreshable and energetic. When I was seven, I started learning English. I played games and sang English songs with other children. Sometimes, I watched English cartoons. It's funny. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington, because my cousin is over there. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge University, I will be very happy.I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. Also I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, and the gardens in Suzhou. I will teaching people of the world about the beautiful language of our country.I like the English language. To learn English is wonderful. I once wanted to be an English teacher . I also like Chinese literature. When I was really young, I was able to remember lots of poems. I also wanted to be a teacher of Chinese. Now I think that both of my dreams can come true: I will be able to use English to teach foreign friends Chinese and share Chinese culture with them. So that more and more people will be able to get to know the 5000 years' history culture, and the prosperity of our great China. My future is not a dream.change the world? change ourselvesgood evening, honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen.it’s my great pleasure to stand here to present my speech—change the world, change ourselves.it’s noticable that western holida ys are becoming increasingly popular day by day, while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected. not long before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture.frankly speaking, i don’t quite agree with them.indeed, we should never neglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions. It is a fairy story about Cinderella of modern version. Being the he-ro-in-e in a fairy tale seems to be the dream of every girl since very young. All girls are looking forward to romantic love stories descending on them. The more impossible the love is going to happen, the happier the girl to be, which is definitely decided by the nature of girls. The most impressed things came to me in the film were the hero’s (Richard Gere) character. He was charming, a real confident man, so perfect, so charming, however, that didn’t make you think he was conceited or he was pretend to be attractive. As a matter of fact, he is an indeed gentleman, with a natural gentle manner. His charm actually comes from his inner refinement. His personality is a great magnet to me.In the meanwhile, the difference between a rude woman and elegant women are obviously high lightened in this film, which I has paid attention to for a long time.Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, honorable judges. As a citizen of a country, I have a birth certificate, a household register and a identity card.I am entitled to certain rights, responsibilities and privileges.I have freedom of movements in the country, I obey the country’s laws, a nd I enjoy the convenience of social policies and so on .What about a citizen of globe? Is there anything to characterize the global citizenship? A certificate, a register or certain rights? Not really.Global citizenship means a world where people are treated and respected equally for who they are.It is about helping people that are less fortunate. It is about inclusiveness.Interacting and working together is the core of being and belonging. We need to realize how important our connections are with others in our friendships, our neighborhoods, our communities, and with our planet. In another word, Global Citizenship is about people’s awareness of seeking the common good.It is about everyone. Is my idea too abstract? Here I’ve got a vivid exa mple. When I was a child, my father always told me some stories about the past generation.Once he told me a story about a doctor. When the doctor heard people suffering in Spain because of the civil war, he came to help.He saw many people dying just because they had no money. Then he proposed a system that enabled the poor to have medical treatment. It is the beginning of the idea of Socialized Medical Care. After the war, the doctor worked hard to improve the treatment of tuberculosis. In 1938, the second Sino-Japanese war broke out in China. The fifty-year-old doctor came to help again.During his years in China, he trained more than 1000 Chinese to be medics and doctors. It was him that designed the world’s first mobile medical un it which saved thousands of lives. In the story, what impressed me most was a description of this admirable doctor. My father could still remember it even after decades. It was “his utter devotion to others without any thought of self was shown in his great sense of responsibility in his work and his great warm-heartedness towards all comrades and the people”.Till now, you must know the doctor. You are right. It is Norman Bethune, a distinguished surgeon. He was a medical hero who helped unite two countries by showing our common humanity beyond cultural and political differences. What kind of spirit is this that makes a foreigner selflessly adopt the cause of the Chinese peoples liberation as his own? It is called the spirit of global citizenship-seeking the common good.As a doctor, Norman Bethune did his best.关于大学生英语演讲稿3分钟篇15I have been in University for about one year. During my stay here, I came to realize that university life is like drinking coke. We experience all tastes of life here, sour, sweet, bitter and hot.I am from Province, which is far away from here. I often miss my Mum, friends, and relatives in my hometown. However, I can't see them very often. So loneliness always keeps me company. I am sad that I can't be there with them.Lucky for me, life in university is rich and colorful. With more free time,we can do many more things besides study, such as joiningsocieties clubs, and taking part-time jobs. Such activities not only make our life more colorful, but also help us improve all kinds of skills. The university is a society miniature, what we learn here will benefit our future life. Our path in life will not always be smooth. Setbacks can't be avoided. Failing an important exam, break up with boy or girl friend, or refused by a promising company, such setbacks are likely to get us down. Sometimes we fell so frustrated that we even burst into tears. Drinkin coke is wonderful, despite the undesirble consequent hiccups. It's bitter, sour and peppery, but also sweet. And you'll even feel excited after gulping down a glass. A college experience is part of growing up. We cry, smile, fall in love, get hurt, leave, learn and then we become a better person.University life is like drinking coke. I'm experiencing it. And I know, I enjoy it!。

The topic of my speech today is “Do trust us—a generation born in the 90s”. Living in an environment full of fier cer competition, we, a genera tion born in the 90s, are faced with more problems in entering higher schools and getting employed. Under these circumstances, we are devel oping our special manners and values, which has raised people’s concern. They worry we care to o much about ourselves and are unwillin g to cooper ate with others, which makes it hard for us to achieve success in whatever we do. Besides, they consider us as lacking in perseverance , and this is what it takes to do any job well. Without it, we may easily give up in time of difficulty. They are also concerned that we are so eager to win instant fa me that we follow fashion blindly, which will in turn ruin our values and future. However, we, a generation born in the 90s, have ou r own advantages despite some weaknesses. Firstly , we have the courage to meet challenges and take risks, which helps realize our dreams. In addition, we are quick-minded and creative. We can do our work more efficiently. Yet, we still need to learn more from those expe rienced. Please do trust us! Thank you for your listening! faithfully,大学生三分钟英语演讲稿篇4When I saw the titile of this essay I am supposed to be writing about, all I felt were its broadness and abstractness. Though I am a Chinese myself, it had always seemed complicated to tell how much exactly my nationality meant to me until that unforgettable experience in the Chinese Embassy at the U.K, which made a significant difference to my life. Only when I was abroad did I realize how proud I always was for my great country and clarifythe relationship between China and me, referring it to that between a mother and a child desperate for help.It was in the London Heathrow International Airport that our passports and airplane tickets were stolen a few minutes before the plane took off. Despaired and tired as we were, we wandered on the flourishing streets of London and felt isolated from all the nearby lighthearted laughters. It didn't take a long time for the lingering homesickness hit us and reminded us of the Chinese Embassy at the U.K that might be our sheet anchor. Ages passed while we walked to the embassy, suffering from hunger and helplessness with every step we took. Sure enough, our eyes were unconsciously filled with tears when we finally reached the spot. I was taken by surprise when the brightly-colored Chinese national flag broke through the darkness and appeared once again in front of my eyes, recalling all the pleasure I had at home. It suddenly felt as if I was taken home, a home where all my fear and anxiety vanished and replaced by the hope and warmth that ran all over my body to cheer me up. The ambassadors were all amiable Chinese officers and the familiar Chinese accent drew me closer to my motherland where we received the only help. The ambassadors made us noodles in the familiar Chinese way and settled the accommodation for us. I had tears running down my cheeks when the hot noodles, smelled as pleasant as my mother's at home, filled my stiff empty stomach because I knew I was safe in the arms of my compatriots and there was no need to be worried anymore for I knew I was home.We successfully returned to Beijing the next day and I still couldn't forget the moment when I felt so much closer to my motherland than any other time given, as though our hearts were beating in one melody. Had my motherland not saved the day,we would never came back home so quickly without any restriction. For that one brief second when I was handed the brand new passport with a Chinese flag printed on it, my heart was overflowed with the pride for my own nation because never has a country I known connected to its people so close as the way my motherland and us related. I was like a child, crying and desperate for help while my mother China is the harbor to hold me, this small vulnerable boat. Even though I was out of home, my motherland remained inseparated from me no matter how far I go and is always there to help me back on track whenever in need. I wish you a happy birthday, China. I am so proud of you not only because of your obvious amazing pace in economical development, but also due to the relieved and warm way I felt when I was abroad and enjoyed your ray of love shone on my body and heart. You are the spirits dancing in my blood, the strength holding up my body and and essence making up my soul. I am so honored as a Chinese, a member of this dynamic and loving country. For your development and future, it is my responsibility to settle you safely through all the numerous difficulties until we finally make it to the bank where happinese and prosperity is waiting. I love you, China, my dearest mother! 大学生三分钟英语演讲稿篇5I am proud of my motherlandDear friend ,whenever and wherever I think of China, I feel very much proud of my motherland. Not only because of its vast land and rich culture but also for the great changes that have been taken place here . Especially after the 2019 Beijing Olympic Games, China has emerged from its humble past to be a world power , my motherland is becoming more and more prosperous .However , at the same time , the environmental problem isbecoming more and more serious . You may still remember that "Green Olympics" is one of the three themes of Beijing 2019 Olympic Games . But there is still something that does not go with the Green Olympics in our daily life . For instance:we can always see plastic bags flying everywhere when it's windy ; illegal advertisements lying on the overbridge or the pavements look like scars of the city ; some people even go to sleep with there light on for whole night .As a middle school student , I am proud of the prosperity of my motherland , while also worried about the environmental problems we are facing . I am eager to do something to make my motherland more beautiful , so I have already taken actions . I have put up signs asking people not to step on grasses in my school and I have helped plant trees in the park . I have also called on my classmates to help clean the nearby neighborhood on volunteering day .One finger can not lift a small stone . It's necessary to get everybody to take actions so as to make China a powerful and strong country in the world .My country has a bright foreground , I believe that in the future, more and more people would be proud of China just like I do. For it's not only a country of high technology and modernization, but also a country of green ideas and environmental friendliness .I will contribute my whole life to my mother- China, and devote all my life to respond her. I wish my motherland much prosperous and strong each day , and I wish our green homeland lasting forever !I am proud --I am a son of China!。

第1篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today to share with you my thoughts on the power of college life. As a student who has just embarked on this incredible journey, I believe that college life is not just a period of time, but a transformative experience that shapes us into the individuals we are meant to become. Allow me to take you through a journey of growth and discovery that awaits us all in college.Firstly, college life is a sanctuary of knowledge and learning. The moment we step into this hallowed institution, we are surrounded by a wealth of information and expertise. Professors, who are experts intheir respective fields, are eager to impart their knowledge to us. Libraries, laboratories, and lecture halls are all at our disposal, offering us the tools we need to expand our minds and delve into the depths of human understanding. This pursuit of knowledge is what sets college life apart from any other phase of our lives. It is a quest that challenges us to question the world around us and seek answers that will shape our future.Secondly, college life is a crucible for personal growth. As we navigate the challenges of college, we are constantly pushed to our limits. Weare faced with the pressure of academic expectations, the struggle to balance extracurricular activities, and the task of managing our social lives. These challenges may seem daunting, but they are precisely what mold us into resilient and adaptable individuals. We learn to prioritize, to manage our time effectively, and to handle stress with grace. College life is not a walk in the park; it is a rigorous training ground that prepares us for the complexities of the real world.Furthermore, college life is a melting pot of cultures and ideas. Inthis diverse environment, we have the opportunity to interact withpeople from all walks of life, with different backgrounds, beliefs, and perspectives. This exposure broadens our horizons and fosters tolerance and understanding. We learn to appreciate the value of diversity and toembrace the unique qualities that each individual brings to the table. This cultural exchange not only enriches our personal lives but also equips us with the skills to navigate a globalized world. Moreover, college life is a stage for self-discovery. It is a time when we are free to explore our passions, interests, and talents. We can join clubs, participate in sports, or even start our own projects. These activities allow us to discover our true selves, to find our purpose, and to pursue our dreams. College life is not just about academic success; it is about embracing our passions and nurturing our talents, no matter how unconventional they may be.In addition, college life is a time for building relationships that last a lifetime. The friendships we forge during this period are often some of the most meaningful and enduring ones we will ever have. We share our triumphs and tribulations, our laughter and tears, and we grow together. These bonds are not easily broken, and they provide us with a support system that we can rely on throughout our lives. The relationships we form in college will not only enrich our personal lives but also enhance our professional endeavors.Lastly, college life is a time for reflection and introspection. As we navigate through the rigors of college, we are given the space to pause and ponder the meaning of our existence. We question our values, our beliefs, and our goals. This introspection is crucial for our personal growth and self-awareness. It allows us to align our actions with our true selves and to make choices that will lead us to fulfillment and happiness. In conclusion, college life is a powerful force that has the potential to transform us into the individuals we aspire to be. It is a journey of growth and discovery, filled with challenges, opportunities, and invaluable experiences. As we embark on this incredible adventure, let us embrace its power, let us learn, let us grow, and let us discover the best versions of ourselves.Thank you.第2篇Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is a great honor to stand before you today to share my thoughts on a topic that is very close to my heart: the journey of a college student. As we all know, college is a critical phase in our lives where we transition from teenagers to young adults, and it is filled with numerous challenges and opportunities. In my short speech, I would like to discuss the importance of embracing these challenges and how they shape us into the individuals we are meant to become.Firstly, let us acknowledge the fact that college is not just about acquiring knowledge. It is a place where we are exposed to a diverse range of ideas, cultures, and perspectives. This exposure can be daunting at times, as it forces us to step out of our comfort zones and challenge our preconceived notions. However, it is precisely this process that fosters personal growth and intellectual development. One of the primary challenges that college students face is the overwhelming amount of academic pressure. With rigorous coursework, research projects, and exams, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and question our abilities. But here's the catch: it is through these challenges that we learn resilience and determination. We learn to prioritize our tasks, manage our time effectively, and seek help when needed. These skills are not only crucial for our academic success but also for our future careers.Another significant challenge is the transition from high school to college life. For many, this means living away from home, managing finances, and taking responsibility for our own well-being. It can be a daunting experience, but it also presents us with a unique opportunity to develop independence and self-reliance. As we navigate through this new environment, we learn to adapt to different situations, make informed decisions, and build a support network of friends and mentors. Moreover, college is a time for personal exploration and self-discovery. We encounter new experiences, engage in extracurricular activities, and discover our passions. These experiences can be exhilarating but also challenging. For instance, joining a new club or organization might push us to step out of our comfort zones and meet people with whom we have little in common. However, it is through these interactions that we learn empathy, teamwork, and leadership skills. In addition to the challenges mentioned above, college students often face the pressure to succeed in all aspects of their lives. Social life, academics, and extracurricular activities can all be demanding, and itis easy to feel like we are not living up to expectations. But let me remind you that it is okay to be imperfect. It is okay to struggle with balancing everything. What matters most is that we learn from our experiences and continue to grow. So, how do we embrace these challenges? The answer lies in our mindset. We must adopt a growth mindset, believing that we can learn and improve from our experiences. We should be open to feedback, embrace our mistakes, and view challenges as opportunities for growth. By doing so, we can turn obstacles into stepping stones towards our goals. In conclusion, the journey of a college student is filled with challenges that can be both daunting and rewarding. It is through these challenges that we develop resilience, independence, and a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us. As we navigate through this critical phase of our lives, let us remember to embrace the challenges, learn from them, and grow stronger as individuals.Thank you for listening.第3篇Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today to share my thoughts on the importance of staying connected in the digital age. As we all know, the world has undergone tremendous changes over the past few decades, and the advent of the internet and socialmedia has revolutionized the way we communicate, interact, and connect with others.First and foremost, staying connected is essential for personal growth and development. In today's fast-paced world, it is easy to become isolated and disconnected from our friends, family, and colleagues. However, by embracing the digital age, we can overcome geographical barriers and maintain our relationships with those who matter most to us. Through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, we can keep in touch with friends and family who live far away, share our experiences, and support each other through thick and thin. Moreover, staying connected in the digital age can help us broaden our horizons and gain new perspectives. With just a few clicks, we can access information from all over the world, learn about different cultures, and understand the diverse viewpoints of others. This exposure not only enriches our lives but also prepares us to become globalcitizens who can contribute to the betterment of society.Furthermore, staying connected is crucial for professional success. In today's job market, employers value candidates who possess strong communication and networking skills. By utilizing digital platforms such as LinkedIn, we can connect with industry professionals, expand our professional network, and stay updated on the latest trends and opportunities. Additionally, staying connected can help us build relationships with potential mentors and collaborators, which can leadto personal and professional growth. However, it is important to recognize that while staying connected has many benefits, it also comes with its challenges. One of the most significant challenges is the potential for digital overload, which can lead to stress, anxiety, and even depression. To avoid these negative consequences, it is crucial to maintain a healthy balance between our online and offline lives. Here are a few tips to help us stay connected without succumbing todigital overload:1. Set boundaries: Determine specific times when you will be online and when you will disconnect from your devices. This will help you maintain a healthy balance and ensure that you have time to focus on your personal life and relationships.2. Prioritize face-to-face interactions: While digital communication is convenient, nothing can replace the power of face-to-face interactions. Make an effort to spend quality time with friends and family, and engage in meaningful conversations.3. Use technology mindfully: Before using a digital platform, ask yourself whether it serves a purpose and whether it will contribute to your well-being. If the answer is no, it may be best to avoid it.4. Practice self-care: Take care of your mental and physical health by engaging in activities that you enjoy, such as exercise, reading, or hobbies. This will help you maintain a positive mindset and reduce stress. In conclusion, staying connected in the digital age is essential for personal growth, professional success, and a fulfilling life. By embracing the benefits of digital communication while being mindful of its challenges, we can create a balanced and meaningful existence. Let us not underestimate the power of connection, and let us use technology to enhance our lives rather than hinder them.Thank you for your attention.。

大学三分钟英语演讲稿(精选6篇)大学三分钟英语篇1Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen!I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of op portunity.”Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 2019 Olympic Games. For example, more and more pe ople will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But Ithink everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 2019 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. And min e is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others. At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.大学三分钟英语演讲稿篇2Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen!I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! To begin with ,I want to ask a question .Does everybody dream a good dream last night? Actually ,today I want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night, but a dream—— about life.Everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage, and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners(水手),we can chart our course by them. With the dream,we have a direction, with a direction, we were no longer confused. With the dream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight. But I know, life is tough, and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims, and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead .Young!Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing is impossible.I firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. IfI can't realize my dream,it result from that I haven't work harder enough and I won't find other excuses. If no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are right. If you think the god haven't blessed you and there is no truth here, you can become the god and create the truth."My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains." At some time in the past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Each achievement results from my hard work. I always believe that "If you want to have more achievements than others, you must work harder."In some extent, the dream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory will come.Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. Let's--- move ----out!Thank you for your listening!大学三分钟英语演讲稿篇3Good afternoon everybody! It's my honor to speak here and I am very glad to share my topic with all of you. Today I'd like to talk about “my dream”. I do not just have one dream, in fact, Ihave three. They are: a healthy life, a happy family and to travel my great country.I have always admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. They are older than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kicking! How do they do that!? My grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even in their old age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is why they can remain healthy. More importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much from life. Perhaps that makes them common, but they live a happy life. My grandmother once told me this:” I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be r unning around in my house”. I want to live a long, healthy and happy life just as they have.Since my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on my birthday I make the same wish. I wish my parents will not fight anymore. I am not complaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I am unhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me with all their heart. I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life as well.I want to travel this great country of ours. I want to see the beauty of our country. I want to see the miracles that made this country great! I want to go from the east to west, from the north all the way down to the south! I have a dream, that one day I can travel and see my country with my family and friends! If that is not possible, seeing my country on my own is good enough also. If I can fulfill all three of my dreams in life, then God can take me away. I would be happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.Thank you everyone for listening to my dreams.I thank you!大学三分钟英语演讲稿篇4Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen!I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Let's--- move ----out!Thank you for your listening!大学三分钟英语演讲稿篇6There is a wisdom called to let go, there is a kind of learning is called choice, there is a kind of victory is called a successful selection and composition of 500 15 choice and successful composition 500 words article 15. 第1篇Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand here before you today to deliver a speech on the theme of "The Role of Universities in the Modern Era". Time is limited, but I will try my best to cover the main points in three minutes. So, let's get started.First and foremost, let's talk about the origin and evolution of universities. Universities, as we know them today, have their roots in the medieval period. Initially, they were established as centers of religious education and research. Over time, their focus expanded to include the study of various subjects, from philosophy and theology to science and technology. In the modern era, universities have become the cornerstone of higher education and research. They play a crucial role in shaping the future of our society. Today, I will highlight three main roles that universities play in the modern era.The first role is to provide quality education. A university educationis not just about acquiring knowledge; it is also about developing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ethical values. Universities offer a diverse range of courses and programs that cater to the interests and needs of students from various backgrounds. By fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and open-mindedness, universities help students become well-rounded individuals who can contribute to society in meaningful ways. The second role of universities is to conduct research. Research is the backbone of scientific and technological advancements. Universities are at the forefront of research and innovation, pushing the boundaries of human knowledge. Through research, universities address the most pressing challenges facing our world, such as climate change, poverty, and disease. Moreover, research conducted in universities often leads to the development of new technologies, products, and services that can improve our lives. The third role of universities is to promote social inclusion and equity. In today's world, access to higher education remains a privilege for many. Universities have a responsibility to ensure that students fromall walks of life have the opportunity to pursue their dreams. This includes providing scholarships, financial aid, and support services to underprivileged students. By doing so, universities contribute to reducing social inequality and creating a more just and inclusive society. However, universities face numerous challenges in the modern era. One of the most significant challenges is the rapid pace of technological change. As technology evolves, universities must adapt their teaching methods and curricula to keep up with the latest trends. This requires a continuous investment in infrastructure, faculty development, and resources.Another challenge is the increasing competition for students and funding. With the growing number of universities worldwide, students have more choices than ever before. This competition puts pressure on universities to improve the quality of their education and research. Moreover, securing funding for research and infrastructure development remains a persistent issue.Despite these challenges, universities continue to play a vital role in shaping the future. To address these challenges, universities must focus on the following aspects:1. Embrace technology: Universities should invest in technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences. This includes adopting online learning platforms, virtual reality, and other innovative tools that can make education more accessible and engaging.2. Foster collaboration: Universities should collaborate with industry, government, and other educational institutions to address societal challenges. This can be achieved through joint research projects, internships, and exchange programs.3. Promote diversity and inclusion: Universities should strive to create an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity. This involves implementing policies that support students from different backgrounds and ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed. In conclusion, universities have a crucial role to play in the modern era. They are responsible for providing quality education, conducting research, and promoting social inclusion. While challenges exist, universities must adapt and innovate to continue their vital work. By doing so, they can help shape a better future for all of us.Thank you for your attention.第2篇Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand here today and deliver a speech on the theme of "The Role of English in University Education". As we all know, English is the most widely spoken languagein the world, and its importance in our daily lives cannot be overstated. In this speech, I will discuss the significance of English in university education and why it is essential for students to master this language.Firstly, English is a global language that connects people from all corners of the world. In today's interconnected world, the ability to communicate in English is crucial for students to succeed in their academic and professional lives. English is the language of science, technology, business, and diplomacy. By mastering English, students can access a wealth of information and resources that are not available in their native languages. This enables them to stay updated with thelatest developments in their fields of study and compete on a global scale.Secondly, English proficiency enhances students' critical thinking and analytical skills. English is a complex language with a rich vocabulary and grammar structure. Learning English requires students to think critically and logically, as they need to understand and interpret the nuances of the language. This process of learning English not only improves their language skills but also enhances their overall cognitiveabilities. Furthermore, English literature and philosophy provide students with insights into different cultures and perspectives, whichis essential for developing a well-rounded personality.Thirdly, English proficiency opens doors to a wide range of career opportunities. Many multinational companies require their employees to have a good command of English, as it is the primary language used in international business communication. By mastering English, students can increase their chances of securing jobs in multinational corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Moreover, English proficiency is often a prerequisite for pursuing further education in prestigious universities worldwide.Fourthly, English proficiency fosters cultural exchange and understanding. Language is an essential tool for cultural communication. By learning English, students can interact with people from different cultural backgrounds, thereby broadening their horizons and fostering a sense of global citizenship. This exposure to diverse cultures not only enriches their personal lives but also equips them with the skills to navigate and thrive in a multicultural society. However, it is essential to recognize that the role of English in university education is not without its challenges. Some argue that excessive emphasis on English may lead to the marginalization of other languages and cultures. To address this concern, universities should strive to strike a balance between promoting English proficiency and preserving the richness of linguistic diversity. This can be achieved by incorporating courses on English literature, linguistics, and cultural studies, while also encouraging students to learn and appreciate other languages. In conclusion, the role of English in university education is undeniable. It serves as a bridge between cultures, enhances critical thinking and analytical skills, opens doors to career opportunities, and fosters cultural exchange. However, it is crucial to ensure that the promotionof English does not undermine the importance of other languages and cultures. By doing so, we can create a more inclusive and diverselearning environment that prepares students for the challenges of the21st century.Thank you for your attention.第3篇Good morning/afternoon! 大学生英语演讲稿三分钟篇11.Some say growing up in rich family promotes children's personality and character. Some think otherwise. What's your opinion? Why?Well, it's quite a question argued by people all the time. I think a person's personality has little relation to his family economic level. It's commonly said that a child in rich family will has more chances and better choice for his study. However, if the kid himself isn't aware of this, that is all in vain. It's not unusual that many children from rich family are quite rude and conceited although they are always receive the best education. Then, how about the poor family's children? There is another saying that adversity cultivates heroes. To be honest, I disagree with it too. Poor children should learn harder and catch every chance to strengthen themselves. However, the reality is often not like that. Subjectively speaking, poor children are easy to feel inferior and thus can't study well. Even if they study well, they hardly do well in practicing ability. Objectively speaking, poor children can hardly receive good and plentiful education because of the economic limit. That will cause deficiency in some literal or artistic talent such as music or dance. Therefore, I think children's personality have little relation to their family situation.2.In universities, students should take history courses no matter what field they study. Do you agree?I disagree with it even though I do know history is important. I'm a student major in electricity. To be honest, I think there islittle sense for students in university taking history courses no matter what field they study. Maybe many people would say, history is something left by our ancestors, so we shouldn't forget it. Yes, I agree with that. History need to be remembered. But in fact, we have been learning history from primary school. I really it's enough for people like me whose major has little relation to history. I just take history exam last year. For me, it was really a nightmare. I spent so much time on it and still can remember all. Now that we're chosen engineering, I can't understand why we need and have to learn history again. The time spent on history learning should be used for our major courses.大学生英语演讲稿三分钟篇2My dear friends,Do you know what is the most precious and everlasting thing in the world? Money? You may lose everything you have if you don't use money careful enough.Youth? In one's long life youth is like a flash in the pan and no one in the world has the secret to keep his youth forever. Beautiful look? Many people pray that they can get hold of beauty, but it disappears far more quickly than they can imagine. And when they are in real trouble beauty itself feels helpless. A good job? As you grow older and your brain and hands can't work as fast as before. It will become other people's wealth. Then what is the most precious and everlasting thing in the world? When you are far away from your family and feel especially lonely, who will you think of? When you stand on the crossroad in your life and don't know which way to choose, who will you think of? When you encounter greater difficulties than ever and need other's encouragement, who will you think of? When youdecide to make the greatest decision in your favorite course, which shed cheerful tears when see you get achievements? Whose wholehearted blessing will be always with you no matter how far you will go?Yes, its mother who you will always think of and it's mother's love that will be always be with you.I once heard a moving story about a mother. Two children were drawn into the flood and the situation was very dangerous. Their mother jumped into the water without hesitation. But the mother couldn't swim at all. Jumping into the water means she might lose her life. But at that time she had no time to think about herself. She just wanted to try all means to save her children. Maybe her courage touched the God. The miracle happened. She finally succeeded in saving her both children. And she, of course, felt extremely exhausted. My friends, mother’s love is the greatest love. Mother’s love is the safest love. No matter you are happy or depressed, rich or poor, m other’s love will always stay with you.大学生英语演讲稿三分钟篇3Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, honorable judges. As a citizen of a country, I have a birth certificate, a household register and a identity card.I am entitled to certain rights, responsibilities and privileges.I have freedom of movements in the country, I obey the country’s laws, and I enjoy the convenience of social policies and so on .What about a citizen of globe? Is there anything to characterize the global citizenship? A certificate, a register or certain rights? Not really.Global citizenship means a world where people are treated and respected equally for who they are.It is about helping people that are less fortunate. It is about inclusiveness.Interacting and working together is the core of being and belonging. We need to realize how important our connections are with others in our friendships, our neighborhoods, our communities, and with our planet. In another word, Global Citizenship is about people’s awareness of seeking the common good.It is about everyone. Is my idea too abstract? Here I’ve got a vivid example. It was hi m that designed the world’s first mobile medical unit which saved thousands of lives. It is called the spirit of global citizenship-seeking the common good.As a doctor, Norman Bethune did his best.。

(laughter) you might be following the person with the best ideas, but you might not. and do you really want to leave it up to chance? much better for everybody to go off by themselves, generate their own ideas freed from the distortions of group dynamics, and then come together as a teamto talk them through in a well-managed environment and take it from there.大学生的英语演讲三分钟范文篇2If There Were No After Lifewhether there's afterlife, the answer has never been the same. the atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to the grave. they may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. they may also say that good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil, but they don't really believe any retribution in their after life.however, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, the belief in afterlife is very popular. they do not only believe in afterlife, but thousands of reincarnations as well. in the mysterious world, there are the paradise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the buddha and the bodhisattvas.maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use of people's veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were the real dragons, the sons of god, while the royal ministers claimed to be the reincarnations of various constellations. but can the stars reincarnate?many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let god see their sincerity so as to be reborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. they do believe in afterlife. but i can't help asking: suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? and if god does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? if you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife ofyour own, isn't it a little too selfish? comparing with this kind of believers, those who don't believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other.you may wonder if i believe in afterlife. my answer is: i know nothing about my previous life, so i dare not make improper comments on afterlife. but i do hope there's afterlife! because our present life is so short that so many things slip away before our proper understanding. i have so many dreams, so many wishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. if there were no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized!i'm not contented with the present commonplace life, i'm very much attached to the affections that should have been mine but have been washed away by the hurrying time, and i yearn for the perfection and maturity if i could start all over again. so believe it or not, i'd rather there were afterlife.大学生的英语演讲三分钟范文篇3so if you picture the typical classroom nowadays: when i was going to school, we sat in rows. we sat in rows of desks like this, and we did most of our work pretty autonomously. but nowadays, your typical classroom has pods of desks -- four or five or six or seven kids all facing each other. and kids are working in countless group assignments. even in subjects like math and creative writing, which you think would depend on solo flights of thought, kids are now expected to act as committee members. and for the kids who prefer to go off by themselves or just to work alone, those kids are seen as outliers often or, worse, as problem cases. and the vast majority of teachers reports believing that the ideal student is an extrovert as opposed to an introvert, even though introverts actually get better grades and are moreknowledgeable, according to research. (laughter)okay, same thing is true in our workplaces. now, most of us work in open plan offices, without walls, where we are subject to the constant noise and gaze of our coworkers. and when it comes to leadership, introverts are routinely passed over for leadership positions, even though introverts tend to be very careful, much less likely to take outsize risks -- which is something we might all favor nowadays. and interesting research by adam grant at the wharton school has found that introverted leaders often deliver better outcomes than extroverts do, because when they are managing proactive employees, they're much more likely to let those employees run with their ideas, whereas an extrovert can, quite unwittingly, get so excited about things that they're putting their own stamp on things, and other people's ideas might not as easily then bubble up to the surface.now in fact, some of our transformative leaders in history have been introverts. i'll give you some examples. eleanor roosevelt, rosa parks, gandhi -- all these peopled described themselves as quiet and soft-spoken and even shy. and they all took the spotlight, even though every bone in their bodies was telling them not to. and this turns out to have a special power all its own, because people could feel that these leaders were at the helm, not because they enjoyed directing others and not out of the pleasure of being looked at; they were there because they had no choice, because they were driven to do what they thought was right.大学生的英语演讲三分钟范文篇4My topic is HonestyAs a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committeefor Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon's tooth. This is a true story.65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure. In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon's mouth. He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome. When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one's error.Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. I would like to say to all of my friends: Let's be honest people of good moral character.Thank you.大学生的英语演讲三分钟范文篇5now if all this is true, then why are we getting it so wrong? why are we setting up our schools this way and our workplaces?and why are we making these introverts feel so guilty about wanting to just go off by themselves some of the time? one answer lies deep in our cultural history. western societies, and in particular the u.s., have always favored the man of action over the man of contemplation and “man“ of contemplation. but in america's early days, we lived in what historians call a culture of character, where we still, at that point, valued people for their inner selves and their moral rectitude. and if you look at the self-help books from this era, they all had titles with things like “character, the grandest thing in the world.“ and they featured role models like abraham lincoln who was praised for being modest and unassuming. ralph waldo emerson called him “a man who does not offend by superiority.“but then we hit the 20th century and we entered a new culture that historians call the culture of personality. what happened is we had evolved an agricultural economy to a world of big business. and so suddenly people are moving from small towns to the cities. and instead of working alongside people they've known all their lives, now they are having to prove themselves in a crowd of strangers. so, quite understandably, qualities like magnetism and charisma suddenly come to seem really important. and sure enough, the self-help books change to meet these new needs and they start to have names like “how to win friends and influence people.“ and they feature as thei r role models really great salesmen. so that's the world we're living in today. that's our cultural inheritance.now none of this is to say that social skills are unimportant, and i'm also not calling for the abolishing of teamwork at all. the same religions who send their sages off to lonely mountain tops also teach us love and trust. and the problems that we are facingtoday in fields like science and in economics are so vast and so complex that we are going to need armies of people coming together to solve them working together. but i am saying that the more freedom that we give introverts to be themselves, the more likely that they are to come up with their own unique solutions to these problems.so now i'd like to share with you what's in my suitcase today. guess what? books. i have a suitcase full of books. here's margaret atwood, “cat's eye.“ here's a novel by milan kundera. and here's “the guide for the perplexed“ by maimonides. but these are not exactly my books. i brought these books with me because they were written by my grandfather's favorite authors.。

3分钟大学英语演讲稿(精选16篇)3分钟大学英语篇1In our daily lives, we have many choices to make, such as what to eat for supper, what clothes to wear, or what to do on weekends. At certain times in our lives, we need to make even more critical choices, such as which school to attend, what job to take or who to choose as husband or wife. Yes, life is a matter of choice. Seemimgly, it means a choice of tangible things. But in essence, it means choosing a way of life. Life is to be lived, savored, and enjoyed, not to be wasted or complained about.Hardly can we forget the time when our society faced the grave threat from the life-and-death disease--SARS. Yet, even during those dreadful times, some afflicted people remained optimistic. Instead of wearing neutral white masks, some people turned to colouful ones, and thus display a happy mood. And some creative people dubbed SARS to mean "SMILE AND REMAIN SMILING." I was deeply touched by their optimisim, nearly forgetting that we're still in a battle. people who survive these kinds of circumstances, (at some point)decide in their minds to carry on in spite of the overwhelming odds.laid-off workers, typically regarded as the victims of economic advancement, are subject to desperation that being unmeployed has brought on them. But, encouragingly, we have witnessed some of them striving hard to rebuild confidence toward life and discover new opportunities for demonstrating their values.Although we cannot choose our appearance, inborn gifts and even avoid unexpected disasters and adversities, we do have the privilege to choose to live optimistcally,to love our lives, tohave dreams, and to cherish hopes.Every morning when we get up, we have a choice of how we want to approach life that day. As for me, I choose to be cheerful. 3分钟大学英语演讲稿篇2change the world? change ourselvesgood evening, honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen。

Hill, and I am a professor of law at the University of Oklahoma. I was born on a farm in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma, in 1956. I am the youngest of 13 children. I had my early education in Okmulgee County. My father, Albert Hill, is a farmer in that area. My mother#39;s name is Irma Hill. She is also a farmer and a housewife. My childhood was one of a lot of hard work and not much money, but it was one of solid family affection, as represented by my parents. I was reared in a religious atmosphere in the Baptist faith, and I have been a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, since 1983. It is a very warm part of my life at the present time. For my undergraduate work, I went to Oklahoma State University and graduated from there in 1977. I am attaching to this statement a copy of my resume for further details of my education.I graduated from the university with academic honors and proceeded to the Yale Law School, where I received my JD degree in 1980. Upon graduation from law school, I became a practicing lawyer with the Washington, DC, firm of Ward, Hardraker, and Ross.In 1981, I was introduced to now Judge Thomas by a mutual friend. Judge Thomas told me that he was anticipating a political appointment, and he asked if I would be interested in working with him. He was, in fact, appointed as Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights. After he had taken that post, he asked if I would become his assistant, and I accepted that position. In my early period there, I had two major projects. The first was an article I wrote for Judge Thomas#39; signature on the education of minority students. The second was the organization of a seminar on high-risk students which was abandoned because Judge Thomas transferred to the EEOC where he became the chairman of that office.During this period at the Department of Education, my working relationship with Judge Thomas was positive. I had a good deal of responsibility and independence. I thought he respected my work and that he trusted my judgment. After approximately three months of working there, he asked me to go out socially with him. What happened next and telling the world about it are the two most difficult things --experiences of my life. It is only after a great deal of agonizing consideration and sleeplessnumber -- a great number of sleepless nights that I am able to talk of these unpleasant matters to anyone but my close friends.I declined the invitation to go out socially with him and explained to him that I thought it would jeopardize what at the time I considered to be a very good working relationship. I had a normal social life with other men outside of the office. I believed then, as now, that having a social relationship with a person who was supervising my work would be ill-advised. I was very uncomfortable with the idea and told him so.I thought that by saying no and explaining my reasons my employer would abandon his social suggestions. However, to my regret, in the following few weeks, he continued to ask me out on several occasions. He pressed me to justify my reasons for saying no to him. These incidents took place in his office or mine. They were in the form of private conversations which would not have been overheard by anyone else.My working relationship became even more strained when Judge Thomas began to use work situations to discuss sex. On these occasions, he would call me into his office for reports on education issues and projects, or he might suggest that, because of the time pressures of his schedule, we go to lunch to a government cafeteria. After a brief discussion of work, he would turn the conversation to a discussion of sexual matters. His conversations were very vivid. He spoke about acts that he had seen in pornographic films involving such matters as women having sex with animals and films showing group sex or rape scenes. He talked about pornographic materials depicting individuals with large penises or large breasts involved in various sex acts. On several occasions, Thomas told me graphically of his own sexual prowess.Because I was extremely uncomfortable talking about sex with him at all and particularly in such a graphic way, I told him that I did not want to talk about these subjects. I would also try to change the subject to education matters or to nonsexual personal matters such as his background or his beliefs. My efforts to change the subject were rarely successful.Throughout the period of these conversations, he also from time to time asked me for social engagements. My reaction to these conversations was to avoid them by eliminating opportunities for us to engage in extended conversations. This was difficult because at the time I was his only assistant at the Office of Education -- or Office for Civil Rights.During the latter part of my time at the Department of Education, the social pressures and any conversation of his offensive behavior ended. I began both to believe and hope that our working relationship could be a proper, cordial, and professional one. When Judge Thomas was made chair of the EEOC, I needed to face the question of whether to go with him. I was asked to do so, and I did. The work itself was interesting, and at that time it appeared that the sexual overtures which had so troubled me had ended. I also faced the realistic fact that I had no alternative job. While I might have gone back to private practice, perhaps in my old firm or at another, I was dedicated to civil rights work, and my first choice was to be in that field. Moreover, the Department of Education itself was a dubious venture. President Reagan was seeking to abolish the entire department. For my first months at the EEOC, where I continued to be an assistant to Judge Thomas, there were no sexual conversations or overtures. However, during the fall and winter of 1982, these began again. The comments were random and ranged from pressing me about why I didn#39;t go out with him to remarks about my personal appearance. I remember his saying thatsome day I would have to tell him the real reason that I wouldn#39;t go out with him.分钟英语演讲稿篇三we have heard time and time again that the evidence reflects the payment to defendants money. the president had knowledge that these funds were being paid and these were funds collected for the 1972 presidential campaign. we know that the president met with mr. henry petersen 27 times to discuss matters related to watergate, and immediately thereafter met with the very persons who were implicated in the information mr. petersen was receiving. the words are: if the president is connected in any suspicious manner with any person and there be grounds to believe that he will shelter that person, he may be impeached.justice story: impeachment is attended -- is intended for occasional and extraordinary cases where a superior power acting for the whole people is put into operation to protect their rights and rescue their liberties from violations. we know about the huston plan. we know about the break-in of the psychiatrist#39;s office. we know that there was absolute complete direction on september 3rd when the president indicated that a surreptitious entry had been made in dr. fielding#39;s office, after having met with mr. ehrlichman and mr. young. protect their rights. rescue their liberties from violation.the carolina ratification convention impeachment criteria: those are impeachable who behave amiss or betray their public trust.4 beginning shortly after the watergate break-in and continuing to the present time, the president has engaged in a series of public statements and actions designed to thwart the lawful investigation by government prosecutors. moreover, the president has made public announcements and assertions bearing on the watergate case, which the evidence will show he knew to be false. these assertions, false assertions, impeachable, those who misbehave. those who behave amiss or betray the public trust.分钟优秀英语演讲稿篇四i#39;m jim.i#39;m 13 years old and i study in no.1 middle school.my school is very beautiful.every morning i get up at seven and have breakfast.and then i go to school at half past seven.lessons begin at eight o#39; clock. we have four lessons in the morning and chinese is my favourite lesson.we usually have 10 minute#39;s break between two lessons and at about 12 o#39;ciock we finish our morning lessons.i have lunch at school at twelve thirty.i like schooi lunch and i always have rice with meat and vegetables.after lunch i often talk with my friends or play basketball with them.in the afternoon lessons start at half past one and finish at four o#39;ciock.i play games after school with my friends and then go home at half past four.in the evening i do my homework and then watch tv.at ten o#39;分钟英语演讲稿篇五My hometown is in Shaanxi, where there are many specialties and scenery.Although Shaanxi cuisine has not entered the eight major cuisines of China, themutton paomo and Qishan saozi noodles in Shaanxi are very good. My favorite moment of the year. It’s a genuine day of dreams: in the student section, dreams of new careers, marriage, children, new adventures. In the parents’ seating, dreams of what to do with that disposable income they’re no longer sending to West Lafayette. All in all, a day like no other. My own dreams about today sometimes are more like nightmares. What to say that’s fitting – that’s meaningful but still concise enough to get us on to the main event quickly? Hardest of all, what to say that’s the least bit original? While dreaming, or daydreaming, about today, I found myself thinking about Purdue Pete. Again, this year, Pete was ranked among the most identified college mascots in the country, and the favorite in our Big Ten Conference.A few years before your class arrived on campus, someone tried to redo Pete and turn him into some new symbol of our school. I wasn’t here, either, but as told to me, the idea started an immediate backlash, a near-riot, and died within days. I got to thinking about "why?"Maybe part of it was his uniqueness. At my last count, there were 64 Eagles, 46 Tigers, and 33 Wildcats among college mascots. But there’s only one set of Boilermakers. But I think our attachment to Pete stems mainly from the way he personifies our self-image of strength. When our up-and-coming football program chose its slogan for this year, it was "Only the strong." One of the year’s YouTube sensations featured a five-foot-nine Purdue player squatting 600 pounds.优秀英语演讲稿三分钟篇七It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don#39;t go for looks; they can deceive. Don#39;t go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.Always put yourself in the other#39;s shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; a timely word may level stress; a loving word may heal and bless. The happiest of people don#39;t necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you#39;re the one smiling and everyone around you is crying. There was once a guy who suffered from cancer, a cancer that can?#39;t be cured. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a beautiful girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.。

I am an outgoing girl who likes reading and traveling. It’s really my great honor to stand here and give everyone a short speech.People say, youth is fire which is ignited by passion. Peoplesay, youth is a chapter of the poem which is written by stories. The color of youth is bright and we make most use of our ardor to draw the scenes to the canvas of painting. But we may be confused and lose our direction in the youth time. Under this, youth slips away. Roman Roland says, life doesn’t issue return ticket and can never come back once sets out. So we should seize the short youth time and try our best to pursue our ideal. Do what should we do and let our youth without regret. When we refer to ideal, we will realize the importance of ideal. Ideal is the beacon,. Without ideal, we will lose the firm direction. Without direction, we will lose our life. According to this, every one of us should establish our own ideal .so that we have the direction of straggle to the future. Tolstoy tells us, we should have the life objective from the whole life to the second. So we should cherish every moment and form our systematic objective. Youth is the prime time. We have strong body and energy and can sense the meaning of life under the guide of ideal. As we know, the ideal is plentiful and reality is skinny. But we should believe that we will become stronger and stronger in the way to pursue ideal. Future is unknown,. In fact, according to the statistics provided by the Ministry of Education itself, out of the 2.12 million graduates in the general highereducation sector in 2003, 640,000 had not signed a work contract by the end of their studies In these circumstances, it is understandable that in the current labour market in Shanghai, for example, new university graduates are settling for a monthly salary of 1,200 yuan, slightly more than double Shanghai’s minimum wage, at the same time as they are having to face significant overheads (superannuation, unemployment insurance, health insurance, etc.).If we take into account the cost of living in Shanghai (including accommodation, transport and telecommunications), it would appear that the salary of these graduates is barely enough to cover their basic needs . The purpose of this article is to better understand the current unemployment of young graduates, beyond any proposals being put forward in the context of higher education reform.★大学英语演讲稿3分钟篇五Honorable Judges, fellow students:Good afternoon!Recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives of others? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country? The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money. The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom,we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer. As college students,we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice:cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future.thank you!。

Especially after the 2019 Beijing Olympic Games, China has emerged from its humble past to be a world power , my motherland is becoming more and more prosperous .However , at the same time , the environmental problem is becoming more and more serious . I wish my motherland much prosperous and strong each day , and I wish our green homeland lasting forever !I am proud --I am a son of China!大学生三分钟英语演讲篇3When I saw the titile of this essay I am supposed to be writing about, all I felt were its broadness and abstractness. Though I am a Chinese myself, it had always seemed complicated to tell how much exactly my nationality meant to me until that unforgettable experience in the Chinese Embassy at the U.K, which made a significant difference to my life. Only when I was abroad did I realize how proud I always was for my great country and clarify the relationship between China and me, referring it to that between a mother and a child desperate for help.It was in the London Heathrow International Airport that our passports and airplane tickets were stolen a few minutes before the plane took off. I had tears running down mycheeks when the hot noodles, smelled as pleasant as my mother's at home, filled my stiff empty stomach because I knew I was safe in the arms of my compatriots and there was no need to be worried anymore for I knew I was home.We successfully returned to Beijing the next day and I still couldn't forget the moment when I felt so much closer to my motherland than any other time given, as though our hearts were beating in one melody. Had my motherland not saved the day, we would never came back home so quickly without any restriction. 大学生三分钟英语演讲篇4Home Land,My LandLove my homeland, because I love her beautiful landscape. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as water pollution air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. where all these pollution comes from? T o a large extend the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street the gas stations are short of gasoline even the government has raise the price so many times in order to control the needs of gasoline but it’s still not working. Overusing the natural resources has alreadyaffected the ecological balance. However the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.进入新世界以来,环境污染比任何时候都要严峻。

Good after noon ,ladies and gen tleme n!
I 'mvery honored to stand here and give you a short speech! mytopic is Opport un ities and Challe nges.
First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you?
Happ in ess, wisdom, a strong body or somethi ng else. If I had asked this questi on to preside nt Nixon, he would probably had said, ” Our dest iny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opport un ity. ”
Needless to say, one of the biggest opport un ities give n to China is
the 2008 Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two seve nths of the preparati on time. How much cha nges have you see n? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks
of grass fields, and also lots of modern gymswhich are under construction.
Other tha n those, there are eve n more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Gamesthat cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I 'm sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the gameswill also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the aware
ness of en vir onmen tal protect ion is being stre ngthe ned. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opport un ity to in spire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have see n so many adva nces, could you eve n imag ine us los ing the holdi ng rights?
I 've already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think every one should use sometime to thi nk of this questi on, ” Doesthe Olympic Games have any special meaning to you? ”
For us, I mean the Chin ese youth, 2008 Olympic Games is a treme ndous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repay ing the love give n to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ” Hey! Comehere and take the helm! ” How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “ comforter ” ----that is some one who will give comfort to others.
At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and every one will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opport un ities and give a big smile to challe nges.

Every one has dreams about life, differe nt dreams at differe nt life stage, and we need dreams to support us. Dreamsare like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners(水手),we can chart our course by them. With the dream,we have a directio n, with a direct ion, we were no Ion ger con fused. With the dream, there is hope,With hope, we have the stre ngth to fight.
But I know , life is tough, and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims, and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead .。
