三大检索工具简介
科技部下属的"中国科学技术信息研究 所"从1987年起，每年以国外四大检索工具 SCI、ISTP、Ei、ISR为数据源进行学术排行。 由于ISR(《科学评论索引》)收录的论文与 SCI有较多重复，且收录我国的论文偏少； 因此，自1993年起，不再把ISR作为论文的 统计源。而其中的SCI、ISTP、Ei数据库就 是图书情报界常说的国外三大检索工具。
会议录文献引文数据库包括多种学科的最重要 会议、讨论会、研讨会、学术会、专题学术 讨论会和大型会议的出版文献。使用此数据 库，您可以在期刊文献尚未记载相关内容之 前，即可跟踪特定学科领域内涌现出来的新 概念和新研究。 CPCI-S 覆盖所有科技领域的文献，包括农业 和环境科学，生物化学和分子生物学，生物 技术，医学，工程，计算机，化学和物理等 学科。

简介： 美国《科学引文索引》（《Science Citation Index 》，简称《SCI》）， 由美国科学情报研究所(Institute for Scientific Information ISI)编辑出 版。1963年创刊，现为双月刊。1988 年,ISI推出了SCI光盘数据库，每月更 新。1997年又推出SCI网络版数据库,称 为Science Citation Index –Expand (SCI-E),每周更新。
