Pre-reading 读前活动活动 1:Warm up & Lead in 热身与导入

1. Play a video.

T: Good morning. I have a video for you.

提问建议:

(1) What is it about?

(2) What can he do?

活动2:Cover and title page reading阅读封面和

扉页,观察图片,预测故事。

1. 观察封面细节,了解书名,预测故事。

T: Today, we are going to read a story about

superhero. Look at the cover. What do you see on the

cover?

提问建议:

(1) What’s the title?

(2) What’s the girl’s name?

(3) What is she doing?

2. 观察封面和扉页,预测故事,板书学生提出的问

题。

T: Look at the cover and the title page. What do you

want to know?

提问建议:

1.通过分享科幻片中的

superhero的能力,让学生

产生好奇心,激发学习热

情。

2.引导学生观察封面,获

取书名、作者、绘者及出

版社等文本信息

3. 通过教师的提问,让学

生预测故事情节,培养学

4. 学生自读第9-12页,带着问题观察同学们的行为和Mimi的情绪变化。

5. 师生共读第12-13页,教师通过提问设置悬念,让学生根据个人经验预测情节发展进行小组讨论:猜测Mimi会采取什么措施来处理紧急事故,引发学生想象与思考。

T: She wants to be a superhero. But her friends don’t agree with her. Mimi is upset. Can she be a superhero? Let’s have a look.

6. 师生共读第14页,找到Mimi处理火灾事故的正确处理方法。
