In today's world, the theme of the importance of mutual trust and openness in cooperation is gaining more and more attention. In my opinion, mutual trust and openness can greatly contribute to smooth cooperation. The reasons why mutual trust and openness can be crucial to cooperation are as follows.First of all, there is no doubt that full trust and an open mind are conducive to cooperation in learning. For instance, when we trust our team members and share what we have learned with them, the results of academic collaboration stand out.At the same time,in the workplace, cooperation also requires mutual trust and genuine openness as the cornerstone. When we can be open and honest about our work,it will undoubtedly improve the efficiency of the project and lead to a smoother collaboration. Last but not least, faith and opening up can also allow different parties to establish a harmonious interpersonal relationship, which is quite significant to the process of cooperation. In short, the importance of mutual trust and openness in cooperation has been fully demonstrated. With a sense of trust and openness,we have reasons to expect a wonderful cooperation.PartⅡListening Comprehension12345678910111213C D A B C B B D D C A D C 141516171819202122232425B A D A A BCD B C A BPartⅢReading Comprehension26272829303132333435363738L A I M O B C H N D L E K 39404142434445464748495051G D H B J C N D C A B C D 52535455B D A CPartⅣTranslation参考译文:Pasting the Spring Festival couplets is an important custom for Chinese people to celebrate the Spring Festival. The Spring Festival couplet consists of two lines of poems and a horizontal scroll bearing four characters. These verses are written in gold or black on horizontal scrolls of red paper.Red is considered lucky and gold represents wealth. The Spring Festival couplets are pasted on the left and right sides of the gate and above the door frame. These verses embody the characteristics of traditional Chinese poetry. The two lines have the same number of words and are related in content. The horizontal scroll, highlighting the theme of the verses,is icing on the cake. The text of the Spring Festival couplets is organized in a concise and vivid manner, expressing a beautiful visual sense. When every household puts up Spring Festival couplets, people's footsteps would follow, and then the Spring Festival officially begins. With the development of science and technology as well as the spread of COVID-19,people tend to communicate with each other online. However,an increasingly large number of people realize the pleasures and joys of real-world social interaction. As far as I am concerned,real-world social interaction can greatly contribute to a closer connection between people. The reasons why real-world social interaction can be essential to us are as follows.Firstly,it brings more positive attitudes to our life and releases our pressure to some degree. For example,we can carry out real real-world activities based on games or sports, which cannot be achieved through the Internet. Secondly, compared to online communication,real-world social interaction enables us to communicate with others in a deeper and more thorough way.We may not fully know who we chat with online due to the image that people portray.However,face-to-face interaction provides an opportunity for us to know more about those who we meet.In a word,real-world social interaction plays an important role in building trust among people. It is advisable to interact with people in the real world so that we can experience the warmth and happiness brought by real-world social interaction. The CCTV Headquarters Building is located in Chaoyang District,Beijing, with a total construction area of550,000square meters. It consists of two towers.Due to its unique shape,it has become a popular scenic spot in this city, attracting many tourists every day.The new structure is the result of a long collaboration between Chinese and foreign architects, which not only reflects environmental awareness, but also greatly saves the materials needed for the building.Through this building,a specialized channel of the CCTV Headquarters shows the history of the various studios and CCTV itself to the public.Visitors can also enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Forbidden City and other places in Beijing there.2022年9月六级考试真题答案速查(第3套)Part I Writing参考范文:Nowadays students are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of developing digital skills. Due to the rapid development of information technology, human society is striding forward into the digital age.In the meantime, there is a growing awareness of the importance for people to cultivate digital skills. In my opinion, young people, especially today’s college students, should grasp the importance of developing digital skills.Digital skills, which can be simply defined as the ability to use and develop digital resources, will not only make us better employed in future, but also drive the country’s technological and economic development. At the national level, strengthening education and training of digital skills for all citizens, as well as enhancing citizens’digital literacy, will help them explore various resources and information, thus better coping with the opportunities and challenges brought by the digital age.For individuals, learning how to use digital skills in daily life has become a prevailing trend in a fast-paced society. Even some communities offer smartphone classes for senior citizens.Obviously, developing digital skills will become necessary for people’s future life.To conclude, the importance of digital skills cannot be overstated. It is high time that we improved the whole nation’s digital skills. Since ancient times, the seal has been a symbol of status and power. The seal,an ancient art that combines calligraphy and sculpture,is not only a practical object but also an art form. From the choice of materials, the production procedure to the design of the typeface, seals have a rich aesthetic expression. While artists from other countries usually sign their paintings,Chinese artists often prefer to use seals in place of signatures on paintings and calligraphy. In this way,the seal also becomes an integral part of the work.It is a way to show the uniqueness of the work.。

Your essay should include the importance of innovation and measures to be taken to encourage innovation. You are required to write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.【参照范文】It is universally acknowledged that innovation refers to being creative, unique and different. In fact, today it is impossibly difficult for us to image a 21st century without innovation. We should place a high value on innovation firstly because innovative spirit can enable an individual to ameliorate himself, so he can be equipped with capacity to see what others cannot see, be qualified for future career promotion, and be ready for meeting the forthcoming challenges. What’s more, we ought to attach importance to the role played by innovation in economic advancement. Put it another way, in this ever-changing world, innovation to economic growth is what water is to fish. To sum up, if innovation misses our attention in any possible way, we will suffer a great loss beyond imagination. In order to encourage innovation, it is wise for us to take some feasible measures. For example, mass media should greatly publicize the significance of creative spirit and encouragethe public to cultivate awareness of innovation. Besides, those who manage to innovate should be awarded generous prize.

People traveling long distances frequently have to decide whether they would prefer to go by land. sea, or air. Hardly can anyone positively enjoy sitting in a train for mort than a few hours. Train compartments soon get cramped and stuffy. Reading is only a partial solution. for the monotonous rhythm of the wheels clicking on the rails soon lulls you to sleep. During the day, sleep comes in snatches. At night when you really wish to go to sleep you rarely manage to do so. Inevitably you arrive at your destination almost exhausted. Long car journey are even less pleasant. for it is quite impossible even to read. On motorways you can. at least, travel fairly safely at high speeds, but more often than not, the greater pan of the journey is spent on narrow. bumpy roads which are crowded wich traffic. By comparison, trips by sea offer a great variety of civilized comforts. You can stretch your legs on the spacious decks, play games, swim, meet interesting people and enjoy good food-always assuming, of course, that the sea is calm. If it is not and you are likely to get seasick; no form of transport could be worse. Even if you travel in ideal weather, sea journeys take a long time. Relatively few people are prepared to sacrifice up to a third of their holidays for the pleasure of traveling on a ship.Airplanes have the reputation of being dangerous and expensive. But nothing can match them for speed and comfort. Traveling at a height of 30,000 feet. far above the clouds, and at over 500 miles an hour is an exhilarating experience. For a few hours, you settle back in a deep armchair to enjoy the flight. The real escapist can watch a free film show and sip champagne on some services. But even when such refinements are not available, there is plenty to keep you occupied. An airplane offers you an unusual and breathtaking view of the world. You soar effortlessly over high mountains and deep valleys. You really see the shape of the land. If the landscape is hidden from the view. you can enjoy the extraordinary sight of unbroken cloud plains that stretch om for miles before you, while the sun shines brilliantly in a clear sky. The journey is so smooth that there is nothing to prevent you from reading or sleeping. However you decide to spend your time, one thing is certain: youwill arrive at your destination fresh and uncrumpled.

Passage One

Fortunately, taking steps to recover from disasters and minimize their effects is quite straightforward.B: Fires, power surges, and floods, theyre all facts of life. We read about them in the morning paper and see them on the evening news. We sympathize with the victims and commiserate over their bad luck. We also shake our heads at the digital consequencesmelted computers, system failures, destroyed data. Yet, somehow, many of us continue to live by that old mantra of denial: It wont happen to me. Well, the truth is, at some point youll probably have to deal with at least one disaster. Thats just how it goes, and in most aspects of our lives we do something about it. We buy insurance. We stow away provisions. We even make disaster plans and run drills. But for some reason, computer disaster recovery is a blind spot for many of us. It shouldnt be. Home computers contain some of our most important information, both business and personal, and making certain ourdata survives a disaster should be a priority. Moreover, even the smallest disaster can be a serious disruption. Personal computers have become an integral part of the smooth-running household. We use them to communicate, shop, and do homework, and theyre even more vital to home office users. When home office computers go down, many small businesses grind to a halt. Fortunately, taking steps to recover from disasters and minimize their effects is quite straightforward. With a good offsite storage plan and the right tools, you can bounce back quickly and easily from minor computer disasters. And, should a major calamity strike, you can rest assured your data is safe.Offsite Storage: Major DisastersC: House fires and floods are among the most devastating causes of personal computer destruction. Thats why a solid offsite backup and recovery plan is essential. Although many home users faithfully back up their hard drives, many would still lose all their data should their house flood our burn. Thats because they keep their backups in relatively close to their computers. Their backup disks might not be in the same room as their computerstucked away in a closet or even the garagebut theyre not nearly far enough away should a serious disaster strike. So, its important to back up your system to a removable medium and to store it elsewhere.D: There are many ways to approach offsite storage. It starts with choice of backup tools and storage medium. Disaster situations are stressful, and your recovery tools shouldnt add to that stress. They must be dependable and intuitive, making it easy to schedule regular backups and to retrieve files ina pinch. They must also be compatible with your choice of backup medium. Depending on your tools, you can back up to a variety of durable disk typesfrom CDs to Jaz drives to remote network servers. Although many of these storage media have high capacity, a backup tool with compression capabilities is a big plus, eliminating the inconvenience of multiple disks or large uploads.E: Once you select your tools and a suitable medium, you need to find a remote place to store your backups. The options are endless. However, no matter where you choose, be sure the site is secure, easily accessible, and a good distance away from your home. You may also want to consider using an Internet-based backup service. More and more service providers are offering storage space on their servers, and uploading files to a remote location has become an attractive alternative to conventional offsite storage. Of course, before using one of these services, make certain you completely trust the service provider and its security methods. Whatever you do, schedule backups regularly and store them far away from your home.Come What May: Handling the Garden Variety Computer CrisisF: Not all home computer damage results from physical disaster. Many less menacing problems can also hobble your PC or destroy your information. Systems crash, kids rearrange data, adults inadvertently delete files. Although these events might not seem calamitous, they can have serious implications. So, once again, its important to be prepared. As with physical disasters, regular backups are essential. However, some of these smaller issues require a response thats more nuanced thanwholesale backup and restoration. To deal with less-than-total disaster, your tool set must be both powerful and agile. For example, when a small number of files are compromised, you may want to retrieve those files alone. Meanwhile, if just your settings are affected, youll want a simple way to roll back to your preferred setup. Yet, should your operating system fail, youll need a way to boot your computer and perform large-scale recovery. Computer crises come in all shapes and sizes, and your backup and recovery tools must be flexible enough to meet each challenge. The Right Tools for the Right Job: Gearing up for DisasterG: When disaster strikes, the quality of your backup tools can make the difference between utter frustration and peace of mind. Symantec understands this and offers a range of top quality backup and recovery solutions. Norton GoBack is the perfect tool for random system crashes, failed installations, and inadvertent deletions. With this powerful and convenient solution, its simple to retrieve overwritten files or to bring your system back to its pre-crash state. Norton Ghost is a time-tested home office solution. Equipped to handlefull-scale backups, its also handy for cloning hard drives and facilitating system upgrades. A favorite choice for IT professionals, its the ideal tool for the burgeoning home office. You can buy Norton Ghost and Norton GoBack separately, or get them both when you purchase Norton System Works.H: Lifes disasters, large and small, often catch us by surprise. Passage One:For hundreds of millions of years, turtles (海龟)have struggled out of the sea to lay their eggs on sandy beaches, long before there were nature documentaries to celebrate them, or GPS satellites and marine biologists to track them, or volunteers to hand-carry the hatchlings (幼龟)down to the water' s edge lest they become disoriented by headlights and crawl towards a motel parking lot instead. A formidable wall of bureaucracy has been erected to protect their prime nesting on the Atlantic coastlines. With all that attention paid to them, you' d think these creatures would at least have the gratitude not to go extinct. But Nature is indifferent to human notions of fairness, and a report by the Fish and Wildlife Service showed a worrisome drop in the populations of several species of North Atlantic turtles, notably loggerheads, which can grow to as much as 400 pounds. The South Florida nesting population, the largest, has declined by 50% in the last decade, according to Elizabeth Griffin, a marine biologist with the environmental group Oceana. The figures prompted Oceana to petition the government to upgrade the level of protection for the North Atlantic loggerheads from "threatened n to “endangered”一meaning they are in danger of disappearing without additional help. Which raises the obvious question: what else do these turtles want from us, anyway? It turns out, according to Griffin, that while we have done a good job of protecting the turtles for the weeks they spend on land (as egg-laying females, as eggs and as hatchlings), we have neglected the years spend in the ocean. "The threat is from commercial fishing, ” says Griffin. Trawlers (which drag large nets through the water and along the ocean floor)and longline fishers (which can deploy thousands of hooks on lines that can stretch for miles) take a heavy toll on turtles. Of course, like every other environmental issue today, this is playing out against the background of global warming and human interference with natural ecosystems. The narrow strips of beach on which the turtles lay their eggs are being squeezed on one side by development and on the other by the threat of rising sea levels as the oceans warm. Ultimately we must get a handle on those issues as well, or a creature that outlived the dinosaurs (恐龙)will meet its end at the hands of humans, leaving our descendants to wonder how creature so ugly could have won so much affection.

The sea and air grow warmer; the polar air of winter begins its gradual retreat. The northward shift of the sun also brings the season of tropical cyclones to the northern hemisphere, a season that is ending for the Pacific and India Oceans south of the equator. Along our coasts and those of Asia. it is time to look seaward. to guard against the season's storms. Over the Pacific, the tropical cyclone season is never quite over. but varies in intensity. Every year. conditions east of the Philippines send a score of violent storms howling toward Asia, but it is worst from June through October. These will kill 50 to 100 persons between Texas and Maine and cause property damage of more than $100 million. If the year is worse than average, we will suffer several hundred deaths, and property damage will run to billions of dollars.Tornadoes, floods, and severe storms are in season elsewhere on the continent. Now, to these destructive forces must be added the hazard of the hurricane. From the National Hurricane Center in Miami. a radar fence reaches westward to Texas and northward to New England. Passage oneQuestions 21 to 25 are based on the following passage. Many Americans harbour a grossly distorted and exaggerated view of most of the risks surrounding food. Fergus Clydesdale, head of the department of food science and nutrition at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, says bluntly that if the dangers from bacterially contaminated chicken were as great as some people believe, “the streets would be littered with people lying here and there.”Though the public increasingly demands no -risk food, there is no such thing. Bruce Ames, chairman of the biochemistry department at the University of California, Berkeley, points out that up to 10% of a plant’s weight is made up of natural pesticides (杀虫剂). Says he: “Since plants do not have jaw s or teeth to protect themselves, they employ chemical warfare.” And many naturally produced chemicals, though occurring in tiny amounts, prove in laboratory tests to be strong carcinogens-a substance which can cause cancer. Mushrooms (磨菇) might be banned if they were judged by the same standards that apply to food additives (添加剂). Declares Christina Stark, a nutritionist at Cornell University: “We’ve got fat worse natural chemicals in the food supply than anything man-made.”Yet the issues are not that simple. While Americans have no reason to be terrified to sit down at the dinner table, they have every reason to demand significant improvements in food and water safety. They unconsciously and unwillingly take in too much of too many dangerous chemicals. If food already contains natural carcinogens, it does not make much sense to add dozens of new man-made ones. Though most people will withstand the small amounts of contaminants generally found in food and water, at least a few individuals will probably get cancer one day be cause of what they eat and drink. To make good food and water supplies even better, the Government needs to tighten its regulatory standards, stiffen its inspection program and strengthen its enforcement policies. The food industry should modify some long-accepted practices or turn to less hazardous alternatives. Perhaps most important, consumers will have to do a better job of learning how to handle and cook food properly. The problems that need to be tackled exist all along the food-supply chain, from fields to processing plants to kitchens.21.What does the author think of the Americans’ view of their food?A)They overstate the government’s interference with the food industry.B)They are overoptimistic about the safety of their food.C)They overestimate the hazards of their food.D)They overlook the risks of the food they eat.22.The author considers it impossible to obtain no-risk food because ________.A)no food is free from pollution in the environmentB)pesticides are widely used in agricultureC)many vegetables contain dangerous natural chemicalsD)almost all foods have additives123.By saying “they employ chemical warfare” (Line 4, Para. 2), Bruce Ames means“________”.A)plants produce certain chemicals to combat pests and diseasesB)plants absorb useful chemicals to promote their growthC)farmers use man-made chemicals to dissolve the natural chemicals in plantsD)farmers use chemicals to protect plants against pests and diseases24.The reduction of the possible hazards in food ultimately depends on ________.A)the governmentB)the consumerC)the processorD)the grower25.What is the message the author wants to convey in the passage?A)Eating and drinking have become more hazardous than before.B)Immediate measures must be taken to improve food production and processing.C)Health food is not a dream in modern society.D)There is reason for caution but no cause for alarm with regard to food consumption.

”Rob Behrens
