在这样的情况下，衡水中学抓住了高考英语对书写的要求，发明和创造了一种跨时代的字体——衡水体。
这种字体并不符合传统英语四线三格的约束，而是更加倾向于一线格，每个字母斜度一致，并且几乎在一条平行线上，字母的饱满程度也都差不多。
那么怎样才能练出整洁规范的衡水体呢？看了由电子科技大学出版社出版，马智慧老师编写的《学习型字帖英语规范书写教程》，笔者总结出了一下几点书写步骤和技巧：一、需要准备的工具直尺，铅笔，橡皮，0.9mm中性碳素笔，任意横格纸或考试答题卡二、具体操作步骤第一步：拿出准备好的直尺，在横线上4或5mm处使用铅笔画出一条直线，然后重复操作至最后一行。
第二步：拿出准备好的0.9mm中性笔，首行空两格开始认真书写。
三、具体要求1、每个字母要求字形圆滑，能出现不自然的痕迹。

英文字体有很多种，下面我给大家简单地介绍三种：
Copperplate
Copperplate是英文书法字体的一种。
它最早是用墨水在纸上写完之后，把纸贴在金属板上雕刻，然后复制印刷的，所以它的名字就叫做Copperplate。
Copperplate笔画线条优美，圆润，粗细交替分明，是最常见的一种英文书法字体。
它分为Engrosser’s script（ES）与English Roundhand（ER）。
Blackletter
Blackletter 也叫做哥特体，在公元1150年到17世纪，它曾是风靡欧洲的手写体，直到20世纪，这种字体也还被用于书写德语，Carolingian minuscule是Blackletter的先祖。
Brush lettering
Brush Lettering 顾名思义就是用笔刷之类的工具来书写，也就是所谓的软笔。
Brush Lettering书写比较自由，同样的笔可以写出不同感觉的字，是一种很容易上手的字体。
