“Chinese Bridge” Summer Camp for Secondary School Students begin A thousand British and American students start their Chinese cultural trip
These children are from Britain. Apart from shadow puppet shows, they have also seen reed weaving, dough sculptures, and taffy figurines and so on, all of which are part of China’s intangible cultural heritage. This is only the beginning of their Chinese cultural trip. During their 16 days in China, they will attend lectures on Chinese culture, take Chinese language courses and YCTs, and stay with Chinese host families to experience the life of local Chinese people.
In mid-July, the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) invited 504 students from 71 British secondary schools and 623 students from 289 American secondary schools to China to take part in the “Chinese Bridge” Summer Camp.

2012年“汉语桥-美国高中生夏令营”招生简章一、活动宗旨增进中美青少年学生交流,加深美国高中生对中国语言文化的了解,从而激发其学习汉语的热情。

二、活动时间2012年7月15日(星期日)- 7月29日(星期日)三、活动规模计划邀请美国600名在校高中学生(含带队教师,师生比例约为1:10)来华参加暑期夏令营。

四、组织机构主办:国家汉办/孔子学院总部协办:美国孔子学院/课堂举办地点:北京、吉林、陕西、江苏、浙江、河南、广西、福建五、申请资格(一)公立或私立高中在读学生,符合以下条件者:1、持美国护照。

2、9-12年级,14-18岁高中生(包括暑期即将高中毕业的12年级学生或暑期后升入9年级的8年级学生)。

3、母语非汉语。

具备一定中文基础,汉语学习时间不超过3年。

4、对中国语言文化感兴趣。

5、身体健康,适合国际旅行。

(二)带队教师需符合以下条件:1、尊重和了解中国文化。

2、有亲和力、责任心,沟通能力强。

3、K-12一年以上教学经验。

4、具有丰富的学生管理经验。

5、身体健康,适合国际旅行。

(三)带队老师须履行以下职责:1、协助孔子学院/课堂对学生进行行前培训;2、随团参加夏令营一切活动,遵守活动规定;3、承担主要管理职责,负责学生在华期间的安全;4、帮助学生适应环境,并对学生行为进行指导;5、在紧急情况下陪护学生,并承担联络工作;6、夏令营活动结束后,收集营员对夏令营整体活动的反馈意见并向孔子学院/课堂提交总结报告。

六、报名及选拔办法1、通过孔子学院/课堂报名,需提交申请表(详见附件1)、个人申请书、学校或教师推荐信(1封);带队教师向孔子学院/课堂提交申请表(详见附件2)和简历。

2、请各孔子学院/课堂根据申请材料进行初审,确定符合条件的候选人,并将候选人信息汇总(详见附件3),连同申请材料,于4月21日前提交汉办审核。

3、汉办将终审结果通知各孔子学院/课堂,各孔子学院/课堂与入选学生及家长签署免责协议书和行为守则承诺书。

201*汉语桥—美国高中生夏令营工作总结201*汉语桥—美国高中生夏令营工作总结河南省教育厅河南汉办201*汉语桥美国高中生夏令营工作总结教育厅、国家汉办各主管部门领导:近三周的201*汉语桥美国高中生夏令营河南分营的工作已接近尾声。

河南省是中华文明的发源地,武术、汉字、历史等文化元素在中国有着不行替代的地位。

作为国家汉办下属机构,我河南省教育厅汉办已连续三年协作教育部承接“汉语桥”汉语国际推广夏令营活动。

在厅领导的大力支持与鼓舞下,从第一届夏令营胜利举办到现在的三年时间里,我部门依据实际工作状况仔细完善工作流程,细化工作安排,虽然有些方面相比第一年已取得了明显改善,但因今年H1N1流感影响,还是显露了我部门接待大型外事活动时处理突发大事的缺点与缺乏,现就以上三周的工作状况做以总结,以便在今后汉语国际推广工作中有备而为,更进一步。

7月18日在紧急有序的物资整理及预备后,我们针对本次夏令营活动的详细事宜召开了全体志愿者会议,部署了接机任务、活动开展流程、送机任务以及其他留意事项说明等方面的工作会议。

由于国外营员在北京突发H1N1,接国家汉办指示夏令营活动不得不分为两个阶段完成。

7月19日,我们顺当地迎接到了第一批亚特兰大孔子学院、肯尼索大学孔子学院、丹佛社区大学孔子学院、波特兰大学孔子学院等102名师生。

并于7月20日上午举办了盛大的开营仪式,訾厅长及省招办朱主任作为嘉宾出席了该仪式。

此后的5天里,我们根据原定工作方案组织第一批102名营员参观了少林寺、嵩阳书院,观看了禅宗少林音乐大典,并进展了“欢乐武术学汉语”教学活动。

参观少林寺和嵩阳书院,使国外营员了解了中国悠久的历史,见证了中华文明深厚的底蕴;观看少林禅宗音乐大典,使他们领会了奇妙的风景,感受了大自然的震撼;“欢乐武术学汉语”既使老外体验武术又学习了汉语。

这些活动圆满达成了此次夏令营的预定目的,让外国友人体验了真实的中国、留下了欢乐美妙的回忆。

2011汉语桥—肯尼亚中学生夏令营8月9日开营
8月9日下午,2011“汉语桥”—肯尼亚中学生夏令营开营式在西安博迪学校隆重举行。

省教育厅孙建宁主任,中国驻肯尼亚使馆吴诗凡主任,国家汉办重大项目处薛佼出席并作了讲话,阐述了此次夏令营活动的重要意义,同时对博迪学校的精心组织和安排表示感谢。

西安博迪学校校长王小鹏女士向远道而来参加夏令营的15名肯尼亚学生致欢迎辞,并赠送礼品,发营员服。

稍后,博迪学校安排肯尼亚夏令营的学生们游览名胜古迹,对中国文化有了初步的了解。

从8月9日开始,肯尼亚15名中学生将在西安博迪学校进行为期5天的汉语学习。

他们除了学习汉语,还将学习陕西历史、文化技能,参观陕西的名胜古迹,品尝西安的名小吃,同时也将会通过学习绘画、书法、编制中国结等,进一步了解中国文化。

近年来,博迪学校除招收学习汉语的长驻外国留学生之外,每年寒暑假都有来自不同国家的外国留学生来博迪学校学习汉语。

截至目前,博迪学校累计接收学习汉语的长短期外国留学生1000余名,为汉语国际推广做出了积极贡献。

2008年7月25日至8月7日,我与十余名同学一起,参加了由国家汉语推广办公室(国家汉办)和河南省教育厅举办的汉语桥中美学生夏令营活动。

活动期间以志愿者的身份负责美方师生的接待以及沟通工作,旨在增进中外青少年交流,加深他们对中国语言文化的了解和亲身体验,激发他们学习汉语的热情。

以下我从准备、接待和交流三个方面对本次社会实践工作进行总结:
一、前期准备
首先很荣幸这次有机会做汉语桥志愿者工作,感谢老师们给我这个机会。

总体上,我认为这次的汉语桥工作是我上大学以来参与的最能反映国际教育学院特色的社会实践活动,现在从我个人感想和对整个活动的理解来谈一谈自己的认识。

第一次知道汉语桥是在国教看到贴出的通知,当时就特别兴奋,因为感觉这样的机会特别难得,可以以最低的成本了解美国的文化和美国年轻人的想法,所以在第一时间到分团委办公室向陶老师那里报了名,我是第一个报名的。

之后我短信通知了樊世超、郭晓倩,姚景妍、张宜寒、黄昂、张天娇、滕云等20余人一起参加。

我当时很想和一个有共同爱好的团队一起做一件事情,虽然大学参加的团队不少,但是这种强悍的英语团队还是我的理想之一。

在这样一个团体里面,
大家的英语观基本趋同,一起做工作基本上不费劲,沟通也没有问题。

大二的同学们通过我了解到这个活动并报名参加很幸运的同上述提到名字的好朋友一起入选最后的志愿者并和其他熟悉或慢慢熟悉的同学们成为好朋友。

尤其是在这次活动中,可以接触一些大一的优秀学生,如果不是汉语桥的机遇,可能不会认识他们。

“汉语桥”国际中学生夏令营Chinese Bridge Summer Camp for International High School Students美国高中生夏令营项目方案一. 活动宗旨此活动旨在增进中美青少年学生交流,加深美国高中生对中国语言文化的了解和亲身体验,从而激发其学习汉语的热情。

二. 活动时间7月13日(星期四)-8月3日(星期五),共3周(7月12日从美国出发,13日抵华,8月3日返美)。

三. 活动规模拟邀请美国500名在校高中生(含带队教师,比例请各孔子学院自定)来华参加暑期夏令营。

四. 活动目标“学会100句汉语、2首中国歌曲、1套武术套路”,即“121”培训目标。

五. 组织机构主办:国家汉办 美国孔子学院(各孔子学院自愿报名)承办:中国各省市教育厅(待定)六. 分组及基本日程500名高中生及带队教师拟分成16大组(各约31人),7月12日出发,13日抵京,营员先分组赴各省市汉语国际推广中小学基地集中培训两周,后各省市接待人员随营员赴河南参观学习并汇报表演,在河南活动一周。

8月3日回国。

不鼓励家长陪同或参与活动。

七. 活动安排活动的3周里,学生将不仅仅在传统意义上的教室中学习中国语言文化,还将亲身体验中国历史悠久的人文景点以及秀美的自然风光。

日程表及教学计划将由省教育厅委托承办学校设计,充分考虑美国孔子学院意见,并经汉办同意。

活动内容应包括以下方面:A) 适应性培训(约2课时)B) 汉语课 (40%,约30课时,每天3小时)根据学生汉语水平分班。

采用小班授课制及以学生为中心的教学法,运用各种教辅手段,内容丰富活泼,每班不超过18人。

教师应具有教师资格,汉语普通话标准,英语流利,并具备教授英语国家学生经验,最好有出国教学经历。

C) 文化课 (20%,约15课时,每天1.5小时)邀请相关专家结合当地特色举行文化讲座,如介绍中国传统水墨画的基本理论以及著名作品展示等。

同时,以小班授课的方式,让学生有亲自体验中国传统文化的机会。

【摘要】7月12日,“汉语桥”美国高中生夏令营活动在湖南大学开营。

一、项目内容
“汉语桥——中学生夏令营”是由国家汉办/孔子学院总部与各孔子学院合作,每年暑期举
办的中国语言与文化体验项目,旨在增进中外青少年学生交流,加深各国中学生对中国语言文化
的了解和亲身体验,从而激发其学习汉语的热情。

从2010年以来,每年均有大约700 名学生及
带队老师报名参加,得到美国公立学校与学区首肯积极鼓励师生参与学习汉语的首项活动。

学生学习外语最佳的学习环境和场所莫过于该语言为母语的地理环境,让学生沉浸于该语言
及文化的生活之中,由实际运用达到学习的最高成效。

这种沉浸式的体验成绩由每年参加此项目
的学生写的游后感言即可立间一般,几乎每位学生都提到参加汉语桥中国夏令营活动是他们一生
难忘的学习经验。

“汉语桥——中学生夏令营”项目将为来华学生提供汉语课程、中国文化课程(如剪纸、书法、水墨画、茶艺、武术等)、丰富多彩的交流活动(中外学生联欢、住家体验等)及文化体验
活动。

2017 年圣地亚哥州立大学孔子学院安排汉语桥美国高中生夏令营活动的细节,由厦门大学
协助支持,国家汉办赞助外,最大的特点就是为参加访华的师生们提供一个难得的机会亲访熊猫
出生地-成都。

for U.S. High School Students
Chinese Bridge Summer Camp in China for U.S. High School Students is sponsored by Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban, and co-coordinated by Confucius Institute at SDSU and Xiamen University. This program aims to provide an in-depth immersion experience for students, who are interested in learning Mandarin and Chinese culture, an opportunity to gain more knowledge in their continual pursuit of Chinese language and culture. Since 2010, there has been around 700 students and chaperon teachers engaging in this program annually, and it is one of the international program receiving high accolade and recognition from school districts and schools nationwide.
The best learning environment for any foreign language is no other than the region where such language is the mother tongue; allowing students to be fully immersed and engaged through realistic practices to reach the optimal learning outcome. The following statement from a past student participating in this program sums it up best; whose sentiment is shared by almost all other students participating in the summer program:

The itinerary includes 2 cities in China. During their stay in China, faculty from Xiamen University will be teaching Mandarin and Chinese culture experience, including, but not limited to, papercutting, Chinese Kung Fu, Taiqi, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, tea
ceremony and martial arts. Other cross-cultural activities will be offered as well, such as visiting home-stay families and international students exchange meeting. One of the highlights in 2017 program is a visit to Chengdu Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding. In addition, Chengdu is well-known as the “Land of Heaven”, rich in natural beauty and cuisine, also a historical site in Chi nese civilization.。
