浅谈我国当前存在的主要生态问题、产生原因及其解决方法由于人们对于经济效益的热衷和对金钱的崇拜，世界范围内自然生态平衡逐渐被打破，以破坏环境来换取表面上的经济增长的现象随处可见。这一现象在中国尤为严重，我国的环境形势不容乐观。研究我国当前存在的主要生态环境问题及其产生原因，对于我们贯彻落实科学发展观、实现经济可持续发展、实现人与自然的和谐相处具有十分重要的意义。经调查研究，目前我国存在的生态问题主要有以下几个方面。一、耕地面积急剧减少我国土地广袤、幅原辽阔，国土总面积约960万平方千米，但是可耕地资源十分有限。当前，我国人均耕地面积约为778平方米，不及世界人均耕地的三分之一。改革开放以来，我国耕地面积急剧减少。实施《土地管理法》之后，耕地减少速度趋缓，但仍为减少趋势。耕地面积减少的原因多种多样，其中建筑占地最为严重，包括住房、工厂等的修建。在很多农村地区，出现了荒村或者是“村中荒”现象。荒村现象大多是由于整村迁移导致的。“村中荒”则是由于宅基地外要导致的，村子面积不断扩大，但村中间的老宅或倒塌、或用来放置废弃物品。这些都体现了农村建设规划的不科学、不合理。其次是铁路、高速公路等基础设施的建设占地。例如青藏铁路的修建，不可避免的占用了部分耕地资源。二、土地沙漠化日趋严重我国目前有沙漠化土地约7.1×105km2，占国土面积的7.4％；戈壁面积5.7×105km2,占国土面积的5.9％。更为严重的是，我国沙漠化土地每年正以2.1×103km2的速度扩展，相当于每年减少两个香港的土地。政府虽然实施了相关政策，如退耕还林，但效果微乎其微。
