雅思写作范文:改换工作(谢振礼老师)Example Essay 谢振礼实验范文Created by Jeenn Lee HsiehWhat is it that you like doing in your working life? If you are not happy with the job you have, it is the right thing to do to get out of it, the sooner the better. But for financial concerns, you ought to take a chance, at least once in your life time, to change for the new job that could be really worthy of your ability and passion.First, it is important that you have self-confidence in your ability regarding the job you have probably been waiting for. To illustrate, ever so often people feel lousy at some sort of work that is not compatible with their abilities. In this case, career change may seem not only necessary but also inevitable. Further, suppose you do not feel yourself growing in your work and your life broadening and deepening at the same time, it means you have not found the right place in which you could develop your potential. Under these circumstances, you might senseanything but happy, perhaps having neither job satisfaction nor job security in the workplace. So it is time for you to switch to a new job, believing that nothing would change, should you not change in time.Second, no less important is that you could work with passion in the new job because people rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing. And, money being not the issue, this reason might be what makes you leave the job which you used to distaste. To put it simply, such career change is from one job which you ‘have to do’ to another job which you ‘want to do’. Imagining that all life is a chance, you had better let go of the fear of abandoning the familiar; and, out of desire to succeed, you should risk to embrace the unknown. Of course making a move in the new direction is easier said than done since the old job, even not at all enjoyable, is a memorable part of who you are. Indeed, the difficult part may be that career transition often involves such courage as initiated by passion, and is one of the unsetting experiences you would find in your life.Paychecks always being an important motivational factor that people work, whatcould also make a difference is that you may expect to see how far you could go and how much delight you could take in doing your new job. That is, to find out what you are fitted to do, and to secure an opportunity to do it, is the key to professional happiness. All things considered, do you agree or disagree that life is too short for the wrong job?(Jeenn Lee Hsieh, OWL writer, essay3663@) 点击下载Word文档。
回报工作英文作文素材摘抄

回报工作英文作文素材摘抄英文,。
As a matter of fact, expressing gratitude for a job well done is not only polite but also essential for fostering a positive work environment. When someone goes above and beyond in their work, it's important to acknowledge their efforts and let them know that their hard work is valued. This not only boosts morale but also encourages employees to continue putting in their best effort. For instance, let's say a colleague of mine, Sarah, took the lead on a project and delivered exceptionalresults under tight deadlines. In such a scenario, I would express my appreciation by sending her a heartfelt email or simply stopping by her desk to say thank you. I might say something like, "Sarah, I just wanted to take a moment to commend you on the fantastic job you did with the recent project. Your dedication and attention to detail truly madea difference, and I want you to know that it doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for your hard work!"Furthermore, expressing gratitude doesn't always have to be formal. Sometimes, a small gesture like bringing in coffee for the team or leaving a sticky note of appreciation can go a long way in making someone feel valued and appreciated. It's these little acts of kindness that help strengthen team bonds and create a supportive work environment.中文:实际上,对工作表现出的感激不仅是礼貌的体现,也是促进积极工作环境的重要因素。

Example WritingContrary to the common belief that good communication skill is vital to becoming a leader, actually leadership is practiced not so much in words as in actions that inspire confidence. It may be said that leaders are usually good talkers but the reverse is not necessarily true. A leader had better be recognized as a dealer in confidence, one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way and, in addition, is good at the art of communication as the language of leadership.A leader's right actions plus perhaps effective words can do magic to get the message carrying confidence across to others and guide them to hope more, dream more, become more, and even fly higher. This refers particularly to an extraordinary leader as a politician whose better ideas lead to popular trust, as often happens in more difficult times.Remember a Chinese proverb to that effect? "Not the cry, but the flight of a wild duck, leads the flock to fly and follow." One's good communication skill, like talking more and speaking louder, might otherwise be just hollow words, should one's deeds not match that kind of virtue which wins trust from followers. Accordingly, it stands to reason that the greater one is in power above others, the more one ought to excel them in virtue since none ought to lead who is not better than others. To do justice to good communication skill, it is better to look at it as a big advantage rather than a great virtue in the moral sense of the word. As can be seen ever so often, what matters to the audience is the singer and not the song, meaning a crafted talker can move the mob, even though the message may be far from correct politically. And that is probably why so many ordinary leaders are seen, who represent the power of persuasion and not the real aspirations of their followers. From this viewpoint, good communication skill alone may actually make an ordinary leader, but may still be short of making a good leader, let alone a great leader. The difference lies in that a good leader can inspire people to have confidence in the leader. And a great leader can further inspire people to have confidence in themselves as well. The confidence factor aside, good talkers have always ruled and will continue to rule, with the results of some cases ending well and some ending badly. Therefore it is desirable having the combination of the virtue of leadership and the art ofeloquence. Nevertheless, the ultimate truth must be acknowledged that true leadership is always associated with virtuous actions rather than simply with skillful communication in words.。
托福写作之工作

托福写作之工作工作一向是人们关注的话题之一,关于工作,也是常常在英语作文中出现的。
下面就为大家送上一篇托福写作范文之工作。
Your job has more effects on happiness than your social life does. There is no denying that happiness originates in the acts of meeting people's various needs. Nowadays some people claim that happiness is more affected by the job they owned than their social life. This is a popular misunderstanding. As far as I am concerned, sociallife and jobs have the equal role in making people feel happy, because they can respectively satisfy people's different needs. On the one hand, a decent and well-paid job can provide us with a large amount of money, which could fulfill our material needs and improve our living standards. For example, with adequate financial resources we can live in a spacious and well-decorated house with six bedrooms and eight restrooms. We can travel around the world and visit the Forbidden City inChina, the Liberty Statue inAmericaand the Big Ben inBritain. In addition, such a good deal of money enables us to keep fit by having nutritious diet and mineral water transferred from the water source. Meanwhile, we can hire a personal doctor around the clock incase of any emergence of disease. We do not have to wait for a long time by standing in the long and crowed lines of patients in hospitals. All these things will definitely make us feel happy. On the other hand, the important role of social life in helping us attain happiness can not be ignored. Confucius, one of the greatest philosophers and educators inChina, once remarked that it is a pleasant thing to meet with a friend from afar, which indicates that friendshipis another source of happiness. Participation in social activities will enlarge our social circle and make us make acquaintance with more people. For example, if you are a bookworm, you can take part in readers' association where you will encounter a lot people who share a common interest. Chatting and talking with them will help form a deepfriendship and make you have a better mood. The reason underlying the above example is that your need of communicating with others is met by participating in social life.In conclusion, since happiness depends on the fulfillment of one's need, social life and jobs combines together to make us happy. It is an exaggeration to say that your job has more effects on happiness than your social life.附:e-rater会关注考生写作的`哪些方面?根据托福写作考生的设定,e-rater主要考查考生作文五大方面,分别为:Organization&Development(文章组织和发展)Grammar(语法)Usage(用词)Mechanics(格式)Style(语言风格)。
繁忙工作的英文作文

繁忙工作的英文作文英文:As someone who has experienced the pressure of a busy work schedule, I can say that it can be overwhelming at times. It can feel like there are not enough hours in the day to complete all the tasks that need to be done. However, I have found that there are ways to manage a busy work schedule and maintain a healthy work-life balance. One way to manage a busy work schedule is to prioritize tasks. It is important to determine which tasks are themost urgent and important, and tackle those first. This can help to ensure that important tasks are completed on time, and can also help to reduce stress levels.Another way to manage a busy work schedule is to delegate tasks. It is important to recognize when there are tasks that can be delegated to others, and to trust colleagues to complete them. This can help to free up timeand reduce the workload. In addition, it is important to take breaks throughout the day. Taking short breaks can help to refresh the mind and improve productivity. It is also important to take longer breaks, such as lunch breaks, to recharge and avoid burnout.Ultimately, managing a busy work schedule requires discipline and organization. It is important to set realistic goals and deadlines, and to stick to them. It is also important to communicate with colleagues and managers about workload and deadlines, and to ask for help when needed.

One of the most overlooked reasons why people work is to help other people. Government officials, social and charity workers, and religious organizations, and others all work not only for their own salaries, but also work for the common good. They labor for others because of their moral convictions, for reasons of personalreciprocity, and because they want to make society more stable, thereby benefiting themselves and others. Some of the most famous charity workers in the world have been affiliated with religious groups. For instance, many of the foreigners living in the poor regions of Africa are doctors, teachers, and other professionals who are paid by religious organizations to help thepoor, sick, and needy people there. These professionals could make much more money if they worked in rich countries. They have chosen to help poor people because they believe their religion tells them to help people who cannot help themselves. They are working for others for moral or religious reasons. Some people work for other people because at some time in their lives, someone else has helped them. Many teachers can tell stories about a particular teacher who changed their lives. The gift a great teacher gave to them inspired them to become teachers themselves. Likewise, many people become doctors because a doctor saved one of their family member's life and they felt like they owed a debt of gratitude that money could not repay. To such people, the motivation for working is not the paycheck at the end of the month, but the smile on a child's face when they read their first book, or the look of joy on new parents' faces when they see their healthy newborn baby. Finally, some people work for others because they believe that society is only safe and stable when all of its members are happy. These people include good government officials who try to make policies that benefit the poorer classes of society. They know that only by making policies that help poor people live richer, happier lives can they lower crime, sickness, and poverty rates, and make society safer and happier for all citizens.托福写作语料库关于高薪工作与均薪工作Which would you choose: a higher pay job with long hours or an average pay job with normal work hours? 用实例和事实说明工作的重要性英语作文

用实例和事实说明工作的重要性英语作文The Importance of Work: Examples and FactsWork is a fundamental aspect of human life, shaping our daily routines, financial stability, and personal growth. Whether it's a full-time job, a part-time gig, or a self-employed venture, work plays a crucial role in our overall well-being and the functioning of society as a whole. In this essay, we will explore the importance of work through various examples and factual evidence. One of the primary reasons why work is so important is its ability to provide financial security and stability. A steady income from employment allows individuals to meet their basic needs, such as food, shelter, and healthcare, as well as save for the future and plan for long-term goals. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median weekly earnings for full-time workers in the United States were $1,037 in the fourth quarter of 2022, highlighting the significant financial impact that work can have on an individual's life. Moreover, work not only provides financial rewards but also serves as a means of personal fulfillment and growth. Many people find a sense of purpose and meaning in their work, as it allows them toutilize their skills, contribute to society, and develop new capabilities.A study conducted by the American Psychological Association found that individuals who are engaged in their work and feel a sense of purpose are more likely to experience higher levels of job satisfaction, reduced stress, and improved overall well-being.In addition to personal fulfillment, work also plays a crucial role in the broader economic and social fabric of society. Employed individuals contribute to the tax system, which in turn funds essential public services and infrastructure. According to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the total tax revenue as a percentage of GDP in OECD countries averaged 39.6% in 2021, highlighting the significant role that employment and taxation play in supporting the public good.Furthermore, work fosters social connections and community engagement. The workplace serves as a hub for interpersonal interactions, where individuals can build meaningful relationships, collaborate on projects, and engage in professional and social activities. These social connections not only enhance job satisfaction but also contribute to a sense of belonging and community, which are essential for mental health and overall well-being.Another important aspect of work is its ability to provide a sense of structure and routine to our lives. The daily rhythm of work, with itsset schedules, deadlines, and responsibilities, can help individuals maintain a healthy work-life balance and develop a sense of discipline and self-organization. This structure can be particularly beneficial for individuals who may struggle with time management or mental health issues, as it can provide a sense of stability and purpose. It is also worth noting that work can have a significant impact on an individual's physical health. Many jobs, especially those in the healthcare, manufacturing, and construction industries, require physical labor and can contribute to improved physical fitness and overall health. Furthermore, research has shown that individuals who are employed tend to have better access to healthcare and are more likely to engage in regular exercise and healthy behaviors, which can lead to better long-term health outcomes. In conclusion, the importance of work cannot be overstated. From providing financial security and personal fulfillment to contributing to the broader social and economic fabric of society, work is a fundamental aspect of human life. The examples and facts presented in this essay highlight the multifaceted nature of work and its profound impact on individuals and communities. As we navigate the ever-evolving world of work, it is crucial that we recognize and appreciate the vital role it plays in shaping our lives and the world around us.。
2019年托福考试写作练习题:工作.doc

2019年托福考试写作练习题:工作Which would you choose: a high-paying job with long hours that would give you little time with family and friends or a lower-paying job with shorter hours that would give you more time with family and friends? Explain your choice, using specific reasons and details.托福写作范文:I am optimistic that through my studies and continued hard work I will be able to find a job that will provide my future family and me with financial security. We should be able to afford the necessities of life, such as a modest home, enough food to nourish us and keep us in good health, as well as education for our children. Hopefully, I will find myself in the fortunate situation where I can decide between a high-paying job with long hours and a lower-paying job with shorter hours. I would choose the job with the lower salary and greater personal time without hesitation, because my family and friends are the most important things in my life.Time is the greatest investment I can make into the relationships with my wife and my children. A marriage is not just a decision one makes but a promise that one keeps. In order to do so one has to be there for the other person and share moments of joy as well as times of difficulty. Nowadays, too many relationships wither away as thepartners are unable to work out their problems or bond through meaningful experiences. Personal careers become too important and family time becomes a rare occurrence. The absence of one parent, due to professional career or divorce, can have a very negative effect on a child’s development. The child might question his value to father or mother (depending on which one is continually absent) and develop low self-esteem. Without the presence of either or, worse, both parents, the child will be more likely to make bad decisions as he is lacking proper guidance. And there is one point should also be mentioned, i.e. neither expensive toys nor fancy clothes can compensate for this.Lastly, I can derive more pleasure from spending time with my friends than I ever could from driving a sports car or taking luxury vacations. The inner peace and balance that I enjoy from their company are invaluable to me. Also, a million dollars in the bank would be wor th nothing if I didn’t have the time to enjoy these riches with my friends.。

因为工作很远英语作文

因为工作很远英语作文Title: The Challenges of Commuting to Work。
Commuting to work over long distances presents both practical and personal challenges. From logistical issuesto impacts on health and well-being, the journey to andfrom work can significantly shape one's daily life. In this essay, I will delve into the various aspects of commuting long distances to work and explore potential solutions to mitigate its effects.Firstly, the primary challenge of a long-distance commute is the time it consumes. Spending several hourseach day traveling to and from work can significantly eat into one's personal time. This can lead to feelings of fatigue, stress, and a decreased sense of work-life balance. Additionally, long commutes may result in less time for leisure activities, exercise, and spending quality timewith family and friends. Moreover, commuting long distances can have detrimental effects on physical and mental health. Sitting for prolonged periods during commutes has been linked to various health issues such as obesity, back pain, and cardiovascular problems. Furthermore, the stress of navigating traffic or relying on public transportation can contribute to anxiety and overall feelings of dissatisfaction.Another challenge of commuting long distances is its impact on the environment. Longer commutes typically involve greater fuel consumption and emissions, contributing to air pollution and climate change. Additionally, the infrastructure required to support long-distance commuting, such as highways and public transportation systems, can have significant environmental costs in terms of land use and habitat destruction.Despite these challenges, there are several strategies that individuals can employ to make their long commutes more manageable. Firstly, telecommuting or remote work arrangements can be a viable option for some professions, allowing employees to work from home part-time or full-time. This not only reduces the need for daily commuting but also offers flexibility and autonomy in managing one's work schedule.Another solution is to explore alternative modes of transportation, such as carpooling, cycling, or usingpublic transit. Carpooling with colleagues or neighbors not only reduces the environmental impact of commuting but also allows for shared costs and companionship during the journey. Cycling or walking to work can also promotephysical activity and improve overall health, albeit requiring careful consideration of safety andinfrastructure.Furthermore, employers can play a role in mitigatingthe challenges of long-distance commuting by offering incentives or support for alternative transportation methods. This may include subsidies for public transit passes, flexible work hours to avoid peak commuting times,or amenities such as on-site childcare facilities to accommodate varying schedules. In conclusion, commuting long distances to work presents numerous challenges, ranging from time constraints and health concerns to environmental impacts. However, by implementing strategies such as telecommuting, alternative transportation, and employer support, individuals can alleviate some of these challenges and create a more sustainable and fulfilling work-life balance. As the demands of modern life continue to evolve, finding innovative solutions to the challenges of commuting will be essential in fostering healthier, more efficient, and more environmentally conscious communities.。

Given an option, many employees prefer to make more money to meet the family needs, even though it means being emotionally isolated to a great extent from family members and friends. In case the expected salary is high enough to become simply irresistible, chances are that you would not have to think twice.
When money is more important, it is better to consider money and go for it! At least once in your life, probably you should be realistic and accept a career
change like this, despite all its complexity. For one thing, earning a higher salary may enable you to save money and be out of debt sooner. Generally speaking, the benefits of less financial worries and of improving quality of life would make the choice worthwhile. Perhaps for the first time you could have spare cash and plan decent holidays. And, money apart, a more highly paid job is usually more beneficial for your long-term career opportunity as well, so this may be exactly the change you are waiting for.
Nevertheless, working away from home could be a difficult thing for employees due mainly to its emotional costs. At stake is the work-family balance, not to mention possible separation from close friends. For instance, parenting is likely to be affected when a parent is living apart for five days a week. Of course, a voice on a phone for a few minutes could be a routine practice, and yet it is no substitute for eating a regular family meal and sitting on the sofa together all evening. So, weekly trips should become necessary if you are aiming for balancing a far-away job and a family life. Indeed, without clearly having a larger
paycheck in mind, frequent long-distance travels between work and home could just turn out to be unbearable sometimes.
Weighing pros against cons, it is advisable to choose a job that pays off, even if it means necessarily working far away from home. As can be imagined, this decision may involve psychological complications in view of the work-life harmony, but it is certainly worth trying, if only for financial reasons. After all, home could become even sweeter when you see how pleased those little faces would be and how many things you would need to tell each other and share. (Essay by 谢振礼老师Jeenn Lee Hsieh)
