All those listed above are some of my personal experience, which perhaps can not meet some people’s needs. But one thing is certain, no matter how effective a method would be, it is he who take action and persevere with those method that makes different.

Among the four capabilities of the English, listening skill ranks at the first place. And in our daily study, it is hard to comprehend the speaker’s words immediately, especially in news. Obviously, to improve the listening skill will go a long way. However, we still have some shortcuts. Golden rules : ①sticking to listening English everyday even a little. ②keeping pace with the times. ③undertaking to build up your own vocabulary bank.

These new words often come from internet or advertisement, which require us to concentrate not only on books, but also latest music, movies, government policy, current affairs. such as campus belle (校花)， Avatar , The Hurt Locker（拆弹部队）, Academy Awards（奥斯卡金像奖），low-carbon economy(低碳经济) , curling（冰壶） ②updating news every few days. do not download too many Ⅲ.vocabulary bank Making special efforts to remember some proper noun. Places, people’s names, events. dividing words into different groups according to certain connection.
