三. 教材分析
本单元的中心话题是“新闻”,选自于人教版高中必修五Unit 4 Making the News。

内容涉及新闻工作者应该具备的素质和新闻采访的基本程序等。

并通过一个新手Zhou Yang和他的上司Hu Xin 之间的谈话引导学生了解这一内容。

通过本单元的学习,学生能了解新闻采访、新闻出版的基本程序,并能学习写一篇新闻报道。

这是一个非常贴近生活,具有社会意义、可挖掘性强同时有助于提升学生核心素养的教学主题。

热身(Warming up)部分引导学生谈论生活的unforgettable moments。

这部分的目的是为呈现下一环节的猜标题做好铺垫,激活学生头脑中的难忘瞬间,激发他们对此话题的兴趣,为整篇文章的学习做好铺垫作用。

读前(Pre-reading)通过课文标题和图片进行猜测,并谈论What would make the first day
at work “unforgettable”?
读中(While-reading)部分通过一个跃跃欲试的新手和他上司间的谈话引导学生了解新闻工作者应该具备的素质和新闻采访的基本程序以及采访应该注意的要点。

主要设计了几个活动,第一部分,粗读快读文章,解决读前预测问题和文章主旨大意。

第二部分,细读精读文章,捕捉文章的详细信息,同时在这部分勾画新手的提问和细化文章的结构也着重处理了文本理解和文本结构。

第三部分,这部分着重培养和提升学生思维能力,通过阅读文章,对于一个好的新闻工作者所应具备的素质进行归纳总结和发散思维。

读后(Post-reading)环节着重培养运用知识能力和起到情感内化的作用,不仅需要将阅读中所学习的新闻工作者所具备的素质进行运用和展现,同时进行了情景创设,启发学生对于未来工作要求的进一步思考。

. 学情分析四(1)所教班级学生英语水平整体较好,但也存在个别学生的能力差异,因此应该有梯度地设置任务,使用分层教学和小组活动等形式,提高学生的参与度,使不同层次的学生有机会展示自己,获得成就感,体验学习的快乐。

(2)同时,该班原任英语老师已在阅读课前对本单元的重点单词和课文中的重点单词和表达做了细致处理,为学生扫清了阅读中可能出现的单词障碍,因此在本节阅读课的处理中将在阅读中巩固单词学习但不会专门强调,而着重培养学生的阅读能力的训练以及学生思维能力的提升。
