Grammar Focus
教学目的:
1、通过学习让学生了解环境如何影响一个人的心情,从而让学生学会并掌握表示情感、感觉的形容词,
2、掌握make sb.+adj和make sb .do sth.的句型。
3、通过学习3a部分的内容,提高学生阅读理解的能力,让学生了解什么是餐馆科学。
4、回答短文后的问题。
语言目标:
Loud music makes me tense.
Sad movies make her want to leave.
Waiting for her made me angry .
情感目标:
让学生了解如何设计装饰餐馆的内部环境,给顾客一个轻松愉悦的用餐环境。
教学内容:

重、难点:
让学生知道会用make sb.do sth. 的句型和make sb .+adj
教学过程:
一、倒入:
同学们,我们在日常的生活当中,常常受到周围环境氛围所左
右,或者是影响。
周围的环境会使我们特别的高兴,或者是使我们特别的紧张,特别的难过等等……。
那么在英语当中这些都如何去表达呢?让我们来看看今天的Grammar。
二、新课呈现
1、读一读以下句子, 提醒学生注意:
我们用make来表示“什么什么使得我怎么样”,并翻译句子,让学生知道“让某人做某事”是“make sb. do sth”,在make sb.后面直接加上表示情感的形容词就是:什么使谁心情怎样。
例:Loud music makes me tense.
…使得我紧张
Sad movies make her want to leave.
…使得她或者让她想要离开
Waiting for her made me angry .
…使我非常的生气
2、下面我们来看一下书上的这一幅插图,再来看阅读
What can you see in the picture?
Can you describe what you see?
The walls are bright red.
There is loud music.
There are bright lights in the ceiling.
The people are eating quickly.
They are not talking to each other.
同学们都观察到这些细节了吗?
好,我们来看一下这篇文章。
3、读文章标题,并解释文章标题
Restaurant Science 指的是餐馆科学,什么叫餐馆科学呢?实际上是一种如何来经营或如何管理餐馆的一门科学。
4、翻译全文并讲解therefore和make的用法
Restaurant owenrs have to know how to make food.They also have to know how to make money.Here are some things they've learned from scientific studies.The color red makes people hungry.Red also makes customers east faster.(1)Many fast food restaurants,therefore,have red furniture or walls.Soft colors like pink and light blue make people relaxed,so they spend more time eating their meals.Soft lighting makes peole look good,but it makes food look bad.Loud music may be nice at first,but it soon makes people want to leave.Hard seats also make customers want to eat quickly and leave.(2)Many restaurants,especially fast food restaurants,use this knowledge to make customers eat faster.Customers only sit for about 20 minutes before they leave.Because customers don't stay very long,small restaurants can serve many people every day.
餐馆经营者必须知道如何制作食物。

(1)T herefore的用法:
Therefore是表示一种顺接的关系,是因此、那么的意思。
例:These birds are very rare and therefore protected by law.
这些鸟非常的罕见,因此它们受到了法律的保护。
(2)m ake的用法:
例:The color red makes people hungry.
使某人怎样,是make sb .+adj也就是在make 的后面+人+形容词
…but it soon makes people want to leave.
这句是make sb .do sth句型。
如果放到被动语态中要保留to,要还原to
例:The boy was made to repeat the story
让这个男孩复述这个故事(这个男孩被复述这个故事)5、回答课后问题

(2)、Why do so many fast food restaurants paint there walls red,play loud music and have hard seats?
Because they want people to eat quickly and leave,so more people can come in.

四、反思
我本节课的教学是严格按照英语课程标准中提出的“知识与技能”“过程与方法”“情感态度与价值观”等多层面的教学目标相结合的理念来完成的,我在教学中体现了英语教学目标综合化、多样化的趋势。
多样化的教学目标必然要求通过多样化的教学方式来实现。
因此,我认为,我这节课的不足之处是没能把多媒体的教学手段利用进来。
例如,课文中那幅餐馆的图片,要是能把它投影出来,能让学生有更直观的感受。
