There has been a recent trend in the food service industry toward lower fat content and less salt. They are required 63 (process) the food that we eat, to recover from injury and for several other bodily functions. When fat and salt 64 (remove) from food, the food tastes as if missing something. As 65 result, people will eat more food to try to make up for that something missing. Even 66 (bad), the amount of fast food that people eat goes up. Fast food 67 (be) full of fat and salt; by 68 (eat) more fast food people will get more salt and fat than they need in their diet.Having enough fat and salt in your meals will reduce the urge to snack (吃点心) between meals and will improve the taste of your food.

1.He ______(pretend) that a tiger toy was real and giving it a voice.【解析】在主语He后,pretend显然是谓语动词;giving it(the tiger)a voice的主语应当是He, 因此,and giving与谓语动词是并列关系;由此推断,谓语动词应是过去进行时,故填was pretending。

【答案】was pretending2.One day, Nick invited his friends to supper. He was cooking some delicious food in the kitchen. Suddenly, he ________ (find) that he had run out of salt.【解析】在主语he后,find显然为谓语动词;由前面句意可知,此处为一般过去时,故填found。

I was on my way to the Taiyetos Mountains. The sun was setting when my car ________(break) down near a remote village.【解析】在when后的分句中,my car是主语,其后的break应为谓语动词;由全文可知,这是叙述过去的经历,用一般过去时;再说was / were doing... when...did...

如:in case of; in spite of; due to; as well as; so that; in addition to; as long as; even if; as if; have to; ought to等。

Even a small amount, he says, _______ make a person sick.

It doesn’t need to be spoiled by people coming up and chatting to you,” he says. While London has its seemingly antisocial set of regulations to follow, not everywhere lacks a sense of community.Does Dunne hope that some of this community spirit (28) (mirror) in the UK following his campaign? “People assume that I just walk up and talk to strangers, (29) I don’t, but it’s been a great way to meet people you would never have normally spoken to,” he says. “On Monday, Oct 10, the curator (馆长)of the London Transport Museum had me over for tea.”So if you ever end up (30) (use) public transport in the West, why not say hello to the person next to you?

1:A talk (give)tomorrow is written by Professor Zhang.

3:I am (tall)than Liu Wen.He is the tallest students in my class.

I met him in a shop which sells fruit when I was seeing what I like.

)无提示考点一:(代词主格)_____ met him in a shop which sells fruit when I was seeing what I like。

1:A talk (give)tomorrow is written by Professor Zhang.

3:I am (tall)than Liu Wen.He is the tallest students in my class.

4:The children were playing on the ground,enjoying____,dirty but happy.

6:He did not do_____ his father had asked him to do.

7:Those_____ want to go to the village must sign here.

What whether, as if, as though感叹句becausehow 连接代词what, who whom whose连接词which how many/much2.并列句并列连词no matter+wh-等句子连接副词when where why how -ever 名词性从句no matter+wh- 等主语从句表语从句种类宾语从句同位语从句先行词关系代词that which who whom whose3.从句As 等关系词定语从句关系副词when where why限制性种类非限制性表时间when, while,as,after, before, until表原因because, since,as,for, now that表地点where, wherever表条件if,unless,as long as, in case状语从句表目的so…that,so that, such that表结果so…that,so that, such that表让步though, althouth, despite,in spite of,regardless of,even if, even though表方式as, as if ,as though表比较as…as, such…as技巧三:短语介词结构。

10:Mr Smith took a plane to London ____ of taking a train.

常用的连词有and,or,but,so,for,while等,常用的关联短语有both……and,either……or,neither……nor,not only……but also等。

例12:Little Wang Jun could not go to school,_____his family was too poor.

冠词只能是在a,an,the之间判断;常用的介词有in,at,on,before,during等,通常考查固定搭配;副词的量还是比较多,如:also,never,yet,much等,但一般不会考查ly形式的方式副词.例14:Jackie likes to drive at____ high speed.

15:Old Tom’s grand·daughter used to visit him _____ Saturday afternoons.

1.…The exam, ________was originally to be held in our classroom, was changed to the library at the last minute.2…the head of the village was tying up his horse to my car to pull it to a small town some 20 kilometres away ________there was a garage.3. We shouldn’t spend our money testing so many people, most of ________ are healthy.
