同位语从句指的是在复合句中充当同位语的从句,对其前面的抽象名词进行解释说明。

这些抽象名词通常是news,idea,fact,promise,question,doubt,thought,hope,message,suggestion,words,possibility等。

同位语从句的引导词包括连词that/whether,连接代词what/who等,连接副词how/when/where等(注:if/which不能引导同位语从句)。

本单元主要学习由that引导的同位语从句。

that只起连接作用,无实义。

练习中互为同位语的词和句分别是
