一般要求: 5.阅读理解:能基本读懂一般题材及与未来职业相关的浅易
英文资料,理解基本正确。在阅读生词不超过总词数3%的英文 资料时,阅读速度不低于每分钟50词。能读懂常见的简短应用 文,如信函、通知、图表及简单的使用说明等。 6.书面表达:能就一般性话题在30分钟内写出80词左右的命 题作文,能填写和模拟套写常见的简短英语应用文,如表格、 简历、通知、信函等。格式恰当,语句基本正确,表达清楚。 7.翻译:能借助词典将一般性题材的文字材料和与职业相关 的一般性业务材料译成汉语。理解基本正确,译文达意,格式 恰当。在翻译生词不超过总词数3%的材料时,笔译速度达到每 小时200个英语单词。

二、教学要求
高职英语课程在加强英语语言基础知识和基本技 能训练的同时,应重视培养学生实际应用英语进 行交际的能力。鉴于各地区以及院校之间有一定 的差异,高职英语教学应贯彻分类指导、因材施 教的原则,以适应个性化学习的实际需要。 高职英语教学要求分为两个层次,即一般要求和 较高要求。一般要求是每个毕业生应达到的目标, 较高要求是入学时英语基础较好的学生应达到的 目标。两个层次的教学要求如下:

•高职英语课程是一门必修的基础课程,不仅要帮 助学生打好语言基础,更要注重培养学生实际应用 语言的技能,特别是用英语处理与未来职业相关业 务的能力。 •高职英语课程以职场交际为目标, 以应用为目的,培 养学生实际应用英语的能力,特别是听说能力,使 他们能在日常活动和与未来职业相关的业务活动中 进行一般的口头和书面交流;同时掌握有效的学习 方法,增强自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养;为 他们提升就业竞争力及今后的可持续发展打下良好 的基础。
