Immediately, an absolute darkness ruled the forest.Jane, exhausted and scared, lay down near a stone, missing her family at a distance.
Immediately, an absolute darkness ruled the forest. Jane, exhausted and scared, lay down near a stone, missing her family at a distance. All the fantastic memory crowded in and she couldn't help crying, "Hadn't I quarrelled with Tom, walked away and climbed to the high place, I wouldn't be trapped in this awful place, confronted with the danger of dying.” She regretted with endless anxiety, and then became asleep with shining tears in her eyes.【翻译】立刻,一片绝对的黑暗统治着森林。
The method and technique for writing a continuation of a high school English essay can be quite simple. First, I like to reread the previous part of the story to remind myself of the plot and the characters. Then, I try to put myself in the shoes of the main character and think about what I would do next in that situation. It's important to keep the tone and style consistent with the original piece, so I pay attention to the language and the mood that was set. Additionally, I like to brainstorm some ideas and jot down some key points before I start writing. This helps me to organize my thoughts and make sure that the continuation flows well from the previous part.

From then on, I would try my best to help somebody. Only in this way could more and more people help each other in the future.
From that day on, every time I meet someone who needs help, I always reach out to them, hoping to pass on the kindness that the Mexican family offered me.

同学们比较擅长写“结论性”语言,如“She felt really nervous and cold.”
I go to school every day. With the sun rising from the east, I, together with Tom and Jerry, ride to school at 6:00 every morning, laughing and talking.2.
)3. 转折:个人努力或借助外界解决途径:他人、他物、自己、自然(突出和谐,时间与成长)解决冲突的具体方案基本如下:1.encouragement(某人的鼓励)fort(某人的安慰)3.inspiration(突然灵机一动)4.effort(自己的努力训练)5.calm(冷静思考)6.kindness(某人的善良)7.courage(勇敢)8.love(爱心,需要与move(感动)和patience(耐心)等适当结合) 9.help(及时帮助)题型专练阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
A funny thing happened to Arthur when he was on the way to work one day. As he walked along Park Avenue near the First National Bank, he heard the sound of someone trying to start a car. He tried again and again but couldn’t get the car moving. Arthur turned and looked inside at the face of a young man who looked worried. Arthur stopped and asked, “It looks like you’ve got a problem,” Arthur said.“I’m afraid so. I’m in a big hurry and I can’t start my car.”“Is there something I can do to help?” Arthur asked. The young man looked at the two suitcases in the back seat and then said, “Thanks. If you’re sure it wouldn’t be too much trouble, you could help me get these suitcases into a taxi.”“No trouble at all. I’d be glad to help.”The young man got out and took one of the suitcases from the back seat. After placing it on the ground, he turned to get the other one. One day when I was12,my mother gave me an order:I was to walk to the public library, and borrow at least one book for the summer. This was one more weapon for her to defeat my strange problem-inability to read.In the library,I found my way into the“Children’s Room.”I sat down on the floor and pulled a few books off the shelf at random. The cover of a book caught my eye.It presented a picture of a beagle.I had recently had a beagle, the first and only animal companion I ever had as a child. He was my secret sharer, but one morning,he was gone, given away to someone who had the space and the money to care for him.I never forgot my beagle. There on the book’s cover was a beagle which looked identical to my dog.I ran my fingers over the picture of the dog on the cover. My eyes ran across the title, Amos, the Beagle with a Plan.Unknowingly,I had read the title.Without opening the book,I borrowed it from the library for the summer.Under the shade of a bush,I started to read about Amos.I read very, very slowly with difficulty.Though pages were turned slowly,I got the main idea of the story about a dog who, like mine, had been separated from his family and who finally found his way back home. That dog was my dog,and I was the little boy in the book.At the end of the story,my mind continued the final scene of reunion,on and on,until my own lost dog and I were,in my mind, running together. When I finished my reading,a stream of tears ran down my checks. It was until then I realized that I have overcome my inability to read. Thus, this was the very first book for me which I had read through and deeply immersed in real sense.

hence adv.因此nevertheless adv.然而seize v.抓住
desperation n.
1.get rid of 摆脱掉
2.attract one’s attention 的注意
3.a sense of desperation
4.as a matter of fact 实际上
5.make up one’s mind
1. so...that...
2.It be extremely evident that... that引导的主语从句。
3It be ...that... 强调句
My boat was gradually pilled towards the deeper part.So dangerous was the situation that it was impossible for me to get rid of the risk without others’ help.(描写“我”在海中所面临的危险情况。
)Hence,I shouted loudly in order to attract my siblings’ attention.(面对危险,“我”大喊寻求救援。
)Nevertheless,it was extremely evident that they didn’t hear me.What’s worse,a big wave came and threw me from the boat.(“我”的“报警”没有效,更糟糕的是,一个大浪打来“我”落水了。
)I was seized by a strong sense of desperation, struggling in the water, waving my hands with all my strength.(落水后,“我”在水中拼命挣扎)After a while ,I began to sink and lost my thought.(结果“我”开始失去意识)
When I came to life,I was lying in a bed.I was accompanied by my parents and siblings in the hospital.(“我”的家人陪着我,大家都很关心我的情况。
)As a matter of fact,it was my brother that saw and saved me from the sea.(醒来后“我”才知道是我哥哥救了我。
)I was unconscious when I was rescued. They immediately sent me to the hospital.(“我”被救后又被送去医院。
)Feeling fortunate,I made up my mind to cherish life and not to try such adventure again.(“我”从中吸取经验教训。
)Mother said we would have a celebration for another life given to me.I told them the celebration would never be held at the beach.(文章最后一个圆满的结局。
)。
