写作能力不高主要表现在：母语影响、词汇量少；单词造句、搭配不当；不懂句型、语法不通；信息不全、条理紊乱；语言连贯性差，缺少锻炼；缺少整体的谋篇布局和前后呼应。

因此，如何有效地改进英语写作教学，结合自己的教学心得，我认为，培养学生的写作能力可从以下三方面入手。

一．扩展语言输入，奠定写作基础英语作为一门语言，它具有一定的工具性和人文性，它的结构应是：词—句—篇。

“词”是基础，“句”是过渡，“篇”是则是目的。

整个训练遵循“词不离句，句不离篇”的原则，由浅入深，循序渐进，不断提高。

因此作文迟迟交不上来。

基于这种情况，后阶段作文我们对于部分学生适当放宽了要求。

2．坚持循序渐进的训练原则。

写作要先易后难，先短后长，先学会运用简单句、并列句，后学会用复合句表达，先写正确句子逐步过渡到围绕一个人、一件事、一个观点去写有中心的__，由不限定时间到限定时间，由限定时间长到限定时间短，由限定字数少到多……同样，不少学生，尤其是对英语不感兴趣的一些男生每次写作时总是以“不知道”为由不写。
