Basically speaking, the environment is the world we live in, and the natural surroundings. There is much talk about the effect man is having on the environment as we continue to spread our cities, produce garbage, chop down trees for wood and paper, and initiate many other harmful attacks on “mother nature”.

Building a city can be a disaster for the environment.

Building a nuclear power plant now would not be doing the environment any favors.
We can’t live without water, but now the water was polluted. It is the biggest problem. It influences our daily life. So we should find a way to solve this problem. Water is important resources. In our daily life, we often leave the tap on after cleaning hands. Sometimes we often drop litter in the river. So the water was polluted by us. I think we could use a bottle of water two or three times. We have to turn off the tap after cleaning hands.

Environmental pollution is causing a lot of distress not only to humans but also animals, driving many animal species to endangerment and even extinction. The transboundary nature of environmental pollution makes it even more difficult to manage it – you cannot build brick walls along the borders of your country or put customs cabins at every point of entry to regulate its flows into your country. Everything on our planet is interconnected, and while the nature supplies us with valuable environmental services without which we cannot exist, we all depend on each other’s actions and the way we treat natural resources. It’s widely recognised that we are hugely overspending our current budget of natural resources – at the existing rates of its exploitation, there is no way for the environment to recover in good time and continue “performing” well in the future. Perhaps we should adopt a holistic view of nature – it is not an entity that exists separately from us; the nature, we are an inalienable part of it, and we should care for it in the most appropriate manner. Only then can we possibly solve the problem of environmental pollution.

1.Farmers over-irrigate their agriculture with pesticide and chemical fertilizer. 2.Many chemical factories and citizens deal with dirty water and solid waste improperly. 3.Many natural disasters contribute to the soil pollution such as acid rain,sandstor pollution
1. Reduce and eliminate emissions of waste water. 2.Strengthen the protection of drinking water source. 3.Adopt new agricultural science to reduce reliance on fertilizers and pesticides .
Some suggestions
Here I’d like to give some suggestions to protect environment.
First, for individuals, the environmental protection
is everyone's responsibility. As far as I am concerned, it is really important for every citizen to strengthen the awareness of environmental protection. Maybe we can not change the situations in a minute, but we can do little things to contribute one’s effort to the career of environmental protection, for example, we can minimize the use of one-time items, drive lowemission cars,etc.

The current situation of environment
With the development of industry and technology, the problem of the environment becomes a severe teset for our humans. There is a tendency that the environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious. So it is time for humans to come up with some effective methods to limit humans influence on the environment so as to solve this severe problem.

Control of Soil pollution
1. Adopt new agricultural science to reduce reliance on fertilizers and pesticides . 2.Waste water should be properly treated before discharging them on the soil. 3.Solid wastes should be properly collected and disposed off by appropriate method.
Secondly, as for companies and factories, I think
the way they produce products should be environmental friendly and the leader of the companies or factories should research and develop new equipments, which can reduce the pollution. Factories can use some advanced manufacturing technologies to reduce the noise and improve their capacities of recycling. Exhaust gas and waste water should be well disposed of before they are discharged.
Control of air pollution
1.Reduce the emission of all industrial pollutants. 2.Rational plan of industrial areas and nonindustrial zone. e public transportation system ,bicycles. e more clean and renewable energy , such as wind and solar power. 5.Plant more trees.
Control of noise pollution
1. Reduce the sources of noise e soundproof materials to build houses
3. Adopt anti-noise measures in urban construction.

1.Industrial production is an important source of air pollution. 2.The burn of gasoline and other hydrocarbon fuels in automobiles , trucks, and jet airplanes produces several primary pollutants. 3. Life stoves and heating boilers.
At last, for the government, they should
punish the individual and factory that pollute the environment harshly and reward those who contribute to the environmental protection. Also, the government can open a tip-off hotline and they should also encourage citizens to say more. What’s more, government should improve the system of public transportation in order to reduce the use of private cars.
