I doubted if I should ever come back
Robert Frost’s “The Road Not Taken’’
• I shall be telling this with a sigh
• And both that morning equally lay
•
In leaves no step had trodden black
Somewhere ages and ages hence
Many and many years later
Robert Frost’s “The Road Not Taken’’
Two roads diverged in a wood
•and I—I took the one less traveled by
Oh, I kept the first for another day
And that morning
Robert Frost’s “The Road Not Taken’’
• Yet knowing how way leads on to way
Robert Frost’s “The Road Not Taken’’
– Because it was grassy and wanted wear
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same
Robert Frost’s “The Road Not Taken’’
• And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
