Verbs in Grammatical Filling and Proofreading

【教材分析】

本节课为高考题型为高考题型语法填空和改错的结合。动词考点是该题型的重点考点,鉴于这一点,该节课的设计围绕动词考点展开,从动词考点考察形式入手,让学生归纳常见考察点,以及相对解题技巧。

【学情分析】

学生为高三理科实验班学生,已经掌握相关基本知识,但是个易错点还不能很好掌握,因此节课的重点为学生的易错点。

Teaching aims:

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

1. classify the verb-related testing points in grammatical filling and proofreading;

2. grasp some skills of dealing with verb -- related testing points and apply them freely.

Important and difficult points:

1. Some basic knowledge related to verbs.

2. The ability to tell predicate from non-predicate.

3. The strategies to deal with verb-related testing points.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Leading-in

1. Show students the statistics on verb-related testing points in Gaokao testing paper.

2. Show students the learning objectives in this class.

设计意图:通过数据统计展示,让学生意识到动词相关考点的重要性,导入本节课的教学目标。

Step 2 Revision (My bank balance)

1. Through the class activity--The Verb Bank, review some basic knowledge of verbs, including tenses, passive voice, predicate and non-predicate.

2. Find the predicates of some given sentences.

设计意图:课堂活动The Verb Bank 的设计,既是为了活跃课堂气氛,也是为了复习动词的基础知识。在这一基础上,复习如何区分谓语和非谓语,为下一环节做铺垫。

Step 3 Discovering and Summarizing (My discoveries)

1. Lead students to classify the verb-related testing points through exercises in the prep learning sheet.

2. Ask students to make a summary of the tips and strategies of each testing points.

3. The teacher adds tips and strategies if students cannot make a full summary.

4. Ask students to list the points that still confuse them.

设计意图:通过观察并对考点进行归类整理,让学生对相关考点有较为系统的认识,明确答题方向,了解答题技巧。

Step 4 Applying (My questions)

1. Ask students to finish some exercises in which they frequently make errors.

2. Summarize the strategies to these difficult points.

设计意图:将学生平时的易错知识集中以单句形式练习,加深印象,解决课堂难点。

Step 5 Consolidating (If time permits)

1. Ask students to make a summary of the steps to deal with the verb-related testing points in grammatical filling and proofreading.

2. Apply what they have learned to the given exercises.

设计意图:运用所学技巧在限定时间内完成语篇练习。检测学习效果。

Step 7 Assignments

1. Finish the rest o f the exercises in Learning Sheet.

2. Find more ways to improve the grammatical filling and proofreading.
