The Belt and Road Strategy Bring Opportunity and Challenge to

Zhejiang Province

[Summary] With the continuous development of economic globalization and China's comprehensive deepening of reform, the reform of our country has entered a new historical turning point. “The Belt and Road” strategic concept is put forward, it is a new opportunity for exchanges national economic and cultural along the line, for adjust production capacity and improve infrastructure. Zhejiang Province should make full use of “The Belt and Road” strategy to promote industrial transformation and upgrading;make a economic and trade cooperation zone, online silk road test area, trade logistics hub area and build a new pattern of opening up that t he unified management of sea and land, eastern and western regions to help each other, n orth and south region connectivity. At the same time, we need to analyze all kinds of opportunities and challenges brought by it scientifically and rationally, to keep the balance of regional economic development.

1 Introduction

The impact of the international financial crisis is still continuing. The adjustment of macro policies in developed countries has increased the complexity of the external environment. The growth in emerging economies is slowing, and the global economy revive underpowered. Face the new trend, how to strengthen regional economic integration, how to promote trade liberalization and investment facilitation and how to improve the level of regional cooperation and achieve mutual benefit, has become a topic worthy of discussion.

At present, China come up with the "The Belt and Road" grand strategy which put the Silk Road Economic Belt and the maritime Silk Road in twenty-first Century as the core. Promote the balanced development of the East Central and western regions, and boost a new round of opening to the outside world, realize the positive interaction between the opening up and reform and development. Zhejiang Province as a big opening province, and also has a well-known international ocean trunk line, which should actively seize the "The Belt and Road" construction of strategic opportunities, give full play to the advantages, become a strategic region in eastern China.

2 The strategic significance of “The Belt and Road ”construction

The construction of Silk Road Economic Belt and 21 century Maritime Silk Road is a major decision made by the Central Committee of China, is a strategic move of a new round of expansion and opening up, is also an important measure to build a favorable peripheral environment. This is a major strategic ideas which look far ahead and aim high, foresight, conform to the trend of the times and meet the needs of development. It will greatly optimize the layout of China's strategic space. It has a landmark significance for the further deepening of regional cooperation，promote the common prosperity of all countries along the line and world peace development.

2.1 Promoting “The Belt and Road” is a strategic decision for construction of a new pattern of all round opening up in our country.
