歌曲和情景剧作为文化的组成部分有着其独特的文化内涵和魅力，音乐和情节也是外语学习的重要组成部分，而歌曲和情景剧以其鲜明的节奏和经典的故事情节，成为外语学习的一种理想的手段，在外语学习中起着重要的作用。
在平时上课中我们发现唱一些与所学知识有关联的英语歌曲，表演一些英语情景剧，可以唤起学生脑海中的知识积存，一边听着熟悉的音乐，一边唱起熟悉的歌曲，配上情景剧的情节与动作，在这轻松愉快的气氛中，学生的学习的兴趣便不知不觉地提了上来。
所以经过教研组共同商讨，确定了本次教研活动的主题是：“运用英语情景剧及歌曲表演，激发学生学习兴趣”。
