夜风凛凛独回望旧往事前尘Braving the vigorous wind of the night, I recall in solitude the bygone days and find

是以往的我充满怒愤my old self was filled with pent-up anger.

诬告与指责积压着满肚气不愤The accumulated accusation and blame failed to annoy me 对谣言反应甚为着紧and the rumor could not made me rage.

受了教训得了书经的指引 Thanks to my past mistakes and the instruction of books 现已看得透不再自困I am now able to see through everything and can find a way out in dealing with surprises.

但觉有分数I know where I am

不再像为往那般笨 and my stupidity has become a past recalling.

抹泪痕轻快笑着行Wiping away my tears, I move forward with a winged heart.

冥冥中都早注定你富或贫Your life, rich or poor, has been predestinated.

是错永不对真永是真Wrongness is wrong for good, rightness is right for ever

任你怎说安守我本份I will be self-disciplined without bothering your words spoken 始终相信沉默是金for I invariably believe, ‘silence I gold’.

是非有公理慎言莫冒犯别人Justice had long arms, so think twice before you hurt others.

遇上冷风雨休太认真What’s more, you are required to minimize the elements of nature, be it biting wind or rain

自信满心里休理会讽刺与质问With confidence piling up your heart, you can forsake any mockery and suspicion

笑骂由人洒脱地做人Just enjoy yourself and let others bark themselves

受了教训得了书经的指引because experience and schooling

现已看得透不再自困have told you what lies ahead is a vast expanse of brightness

但觉有分数I know where I am.

不再像为往那般笨Unlike my old foolishness

抹泪痕轻快笑着行I will go happily with no trace of tears on my face.

冥冥中都早注定你富或贫You were born either with haves or have-nots

是错永不对真永是真wrongness is not rightness and vice versa
