TCM is the condensation of the superb wisdom of the Chinese nation. It is the excellent traditional culture of Chinese nation and the speciality and the superiority in hygienic undertakings of our country.

In addition, the departments for TCM and TCM combined with western medicine or national medicine have been established in most synthetic hospitals.

The outpatient service amount of TCM accounts for a quarter of the total outpatient service quantity in our country.
随着人类回归大自然愿望 的增强，以及崇尚天然药物和 传统疗法的兴起，中医药发展 方兴未艾，并已经传播到世界 120 多个国家和地区，受到各 国人民的欢迎。
Since the foundation of new China, The government of our country and the central committee of our party have put a high stress on the development of TCM. To keep it consistent developing has been written down into “the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China”, and this is the legal basis provided for the development of TCM.
新中国成立以来，党和国 家高度重视中医药事业的发 展。我国将发展传统医药写入 《 中 华 人 民 共 和 国 宪 法 》， 为 中医药的发展提供了根本的法 律依据。
Till 2002,there have been 2864 TCM hospitals above the level of county in our country, that include the hospitals of TCM combined with western medicine and the hospitals of national medicine, and it owns 270,000 ward-beds in these hospitals.
