Unit 3 Travel journal单元备课方案本单元表达了一段沿湄公河而下的自行车旅行,主人公王坤以旅行日记的形式详细记录了这一过程。
学生经过追随这一段旅途,商讨与旅行相关的各种话题,如:如何为旅行做准备,如何选择合适的旅行方式,如何确定旅行路线、计划或日程等等。
经过本单元的学习,不但可以使学生学到与旅行相关的语言知识和语言技术,还可以使学生对旅行产生浓厚的兴趣,经过旅行增强对祖国大好河山的热爱和对世界各地文化的认识,从而培育学生的跨文化交际能力。
Warming Up “热身”部分:不是一开始就向学生体现新的知识,而是让学生从他们所熟悉的旅行知识下手,指引学生对旅行的话题进行思虑。
本部分练习 1 涉及的是旅行工具的选择,学生需要对每一种旅行工具的优弊端进行比较。
练习 2 涉及的是旅行地点、方式、花费和时间的选择。
经过这两个练习的热身,可以达到以下几个目的:一是让学生对旅行前的筹划有所认识,重修原有知识构造,二是复习与话题相关的单词和短语,在表达过程中,重新认识此刻进行时的用法,调整脑筋中已有的关于这一语法项目的信息构造,增添用此刻进行时表示未来的信息。
Pre-reading“读前”部分:主要指引学生接触旅行话题的另一个方面——旅行资源。
旅游资源包含好多,如海洋、顶峰、民居等等。
本单元所谈到的河流也是旅行资源中的一种。
本部分有三个问题:第一个问题是让学生回答在平常生活中如何对河流进行有效的利用,关键是要指引学买卖识到河流的另一种利用形式:河流作为旅行资源的开发。
第二个问题是让学生自己选择自己感兴趣并愿意沿其路线旅行的河流并说出选择的原由。
这一问题的目的是指引学生回答河流作为旅行资源需要具备什么特色。
第三个问题与下边阅读部分的课文密切相关,为理解课文做准备。
要修业生经过地图查察湄公河的流向,并列出湄公河流经的国家,一方面对主人公旅行的路线以及见闻有一个大体的认识,从而更好地理解课文,另一方面也启示学生关注路过国家的文化信息,增强文化意识。
Reading “阅读”部分:“湄公河旅行游记”的第一部分(THE DREAM AND THE PLAN)讲述了王坤和王薇梦想沿湄公河进行自行车旅行,并为之做准备的过程。
文章的第二部分(A NIGHT IN THE MOUNTAINS)放在“语言运用”部分中,主要表达了他们在山中度过的一宿、爬山路的艰辛和乐趣。
经过阅读,学生不但会学到相关的词汇,训练阅读技术,还要学会选择自己感兴趣的旅行地点,确定旅行路线,经过查地图等认识沿途的相关信息,还要认识在旅行的过程中需要观察什么,能既条理又清楚地向大家介绍自己旅行中的所见所闻。

Learning about Language“语言学习”部分:词汇部分共三个练习。
练习 1 让学生从课文中选择合适的词汇来达成句子,这既观察学生对词汇的理解和运用,也观察学生对单词拼写以及词形变化的掌握;练习 2 主要观察学生对构造或意义周边的单词和短语的理解,让学生依据语境选择合适的词或短语,使得学生对词汇的运用更为得体;练习 3 与过去的词汇练习显然不一样的是,练习中所供给的单词大多数并不是课标要求掌握的词汇,但它们都是一些常见的英语地理词汇,不但总结了本单元的地理词汇,还指引学生学会将词汇进行分类记忆的方法。
在语法学习部分,练习 1 的目的是让学生熟习此刻进行时表示未来这个语法项目的用法和构造。
练习 2 是该语法项目在所供给的语境中的应用;练习 3 是这一语法项目在实质生活中的详细运用。
Using Language“语言运用”部分:第一部分是阅读与谈论技术的综合。

第三部分是写作,是对沿湄公河而下的整个旅行的总结。
