pay to do sth. 花钱做某事=get it repaired=have it repaired 让人去修理

get 构成的复合结构：

2.While walking the dog, you were careless and it got loose and was hit by a car.

你在遛狗时，不小心让狗挣脱了绳子。狗被汽车撞了。

在含时间、条件、让步、方式等状语从句的复合句中，如果主从句主语一致（或者从句主语为表示模糊概念的it），且从句谓语含有be动词,可以省略从句的主语和be.

Eg:

If (it is) heated, water can turn into vapour. 如果受热，水会变成蒸汽。

When (it is) necessary, you can look up the world in a dictionary. 必要的时候你可以在词典里查单词。

3.You will tell her that she should have studied.你会跟他/她说他/她本该学习。

should have done 过去本应该做某事shouldn’t have done 过去本不该做某事（都含责备口吻）ought to have done 过去本应该做某事oughtn’t to have done 过去本不该做某事

Eg:

You should have finished your homework last night. 你昨晚本该做完作业。

She shouldn’t have gone without telling us. We were really concerned about her.

她不该不辞而别，我们真为他担心。
