知识与能力目标:
1、学生能够听、说、读、写五个有关课余文化活动的单词和词组dance、sing English songs、do kung fu、play the pipa、draw cartoons。
2、能在创设的实际情景中正确并灵活运用上述单词和词组以及主句型“What can you/he/she do? I/He/She can …”进行交际和使用。
3、能够完成关于课余文化活动的调查并填写调查表。
情感目标:
1、能够积极参与文娱互动,丰富课余生活。
2、能够了解琵琶、武术等有中国特色的文娱活动形式。
3、能够在教师的帮助下总结动词play与文体活动名称的搭配规律,并按照规律记忆相关词组。
二、教学重难点
重点:1、学生能够听、说、读、写五个有关课余文化活动的单词和词组dance、sing English songs、do kung fu、play the pipa、
draw cartoons。
2、能在创设的实际情景中正确并灵活运用上述单词和词组以
及主句型“What can you/he/she do? I/He/She can …”进行交际
和使用。
难点: 1、能够完成关于课余文化活动的调查并填写调查表。
三、教学准备
教师准备多媒体课件、词卡以及板书用相关道具
Step1: Warm up
1.Greetings
2. Let’s do
T: Boys and girls, at the beginning of today’s class, plea se stand up. Let’s chant and do the actions together. OK? 生配合老师说唱歌谣并且跟做动作。
Run, run, I can run.
Jump, jump, I can jump.
Read, read, I can read.
Write, write, I can write.
Sing, sing, I can sing .
Dance, dance, I can dance.
(设计意图:通过此环节先活跃一下课堂气氛,并且在chant过程中初步感知句型:I can…)
3. Free talk
T: You see I can run, I can jump, I can read…What can you do? S1: I can... S2: I can...此处呈现主句型,并且进行对话操练,巩固之前所学内容的同时再次为本节课做好铺垫。
操练方式采用师生,生师,生生模式。
Step2:Presentation
1.T: Last class, including these two new sentences, We also learned that
Zhang Peng’s class will have an English party next Tuesday. He and his friends are preparing for the party now. Do you want to have a look?
Ss: Yes. T: Let’s go and see what they can do. Ss: OK!
2.师播放课件T: Listen! Who is singing? 通过呈现Zhang Peng唱英语歌的图片,教授新短语sing English songs。
师领读,生跟读,开火车读,男女生等方式练习该短语,之后让生用句型I can...来操练该短语。
接下来生书空,师板书,并让学生在练习本上工整写一遍该短语。
此处拓展短语sing Chinese songs.
3.T: Zhang Peng can sing English songs, What can Sarah do? 师呈现幻灯片,采用同样的方式教授单词dance,并且告知学生dance的两个发音,师板书,生书空该单词。
之后师介绍不同国家的不同代表舞蹈,让生对此有一点了解。
4.T: Zhang Peng can sing English songs, Sarah can dance, how about John? What can he do? 引出该句型,师板书并领读。
T: Let’s have a look. T: Wow, he can do kung fu.继续教授新词组do kung fu。
Kung fu can keep us fit(强身健体). So it is very popular(流行)with people. In our country, besides kung fu, who knows the other traditional activities or sports are famous in the world? 引导学生说出ping-pong,volleyball, diving等,生可说汉语。
此处对生进行一下情感渗透,了解我国引以为傲的几种文体活动!
5.承接上一短语kung fu, 师呈现PPT, 让生根据提示猜出谜底kung
fu panda. 引出cartoon的一个意思动画片,之后呈现多幅卡通图片,引出cartoon 另一个意思漫画,T: Our friend Mike can draw cartoons. 师呈现幻灯片,教授词组draw cartoons. 提醒学生注意单词中“oo”的发音。
生拼写并书写该词组。
6.T: Oh, our friend Chen Jie is coming. What can she do? 引出主句型What can she do? 师教读板书该句子。
T: Hey, listen! That’s pipa. Chen Jie can play the pipa. 师呈现幻灯片教授词组play the pipa.讲完该词组后,师进一步介绍一些中西方的代表性乐器,例如古筝,二胡,钢琴,吉他等。
(设计意图:通过各种形式的词组呈现,词组练习,再加上穿插的语音,文化小知识使得整个的呈现环节很充实,学生在掌握的时候也会很扎实。
)
Step3:Practice and Production
1.听音正音环节:第一遍听看;第二遍看文本,听、指;第三遍,
听、指、读。
2.分组练习巩固所学内容;
3.Brain storm: What is missing?
前半部分找出消失的图片,然后生说出短语;后半部分是短语本身,找出消失的短语之后再齐读该短语。
4.Guessing game: 利用遮挡图片让学生猜出:What can he/she do?巩
固所学新词组。
并在游戏竞猜环节之后总结在和play搭配使用时,乐器前加the, 球类、棋类前不加the。
5.Sing a song
用葫芦娃的曲调改编该歌曲,意在总结本节课学习的主要内容。
Draw cartoons, do kung fu,
I can play the pipa.
Sing English songs, and dance,
what can you do?
What can he do? What can she do?
He can do kung fu. She can dance.
La la la la...
Join us to the party.
What can you do?
(设计意图:听音正音环节,三遍的安排可以让学生真切感受到词组的正确发音,在之后的两个小游戏环节,寓教于乐,在玩耍的同时再次掌握巩固所学词组,并且渗透play的用法;歌曲的改编作为一个小总结呈现。
)
Step4:Progress
1.Do a survey
T: Boys and girls, all of you are good performers. Well, It’s time to show you something now.课件呈现微信中Miss White派对邀请录音,并呈现邀请函,邀请函中涉及到需要学生以小组为单位,调查并且汇报组内成员能够为派对做什么并给Miss White 回复。
生开始运用主句型调查并完成表格。
2.Writing
根据调查表格,写一篇组内成员能够为聚会做什么的简介并展示。
Dear Miss White,
I’m____________. We are so happy to join the party.
I can _________________.
________ can __________________.
________ can __________________.
________ can __________________.
See you then.

T: I’m so happy that all of you can do so many things for the English party. After class, give me your letters, I will send them to Miss White. All of you have your own skills. I think we’ll enjoy ourselves at the party. (设计意图:检测提高环节,通过创设Miss White 给我发微信邀请孩子们参加派对的情景,激发孩子们的学习兴趣,并且将文本中的Do a survey在这样的情境下呈现,让孩子们多了些新鲜感,通过回信再次巩固所学新知识。
)
Step5: 情感提升
T: Children, in our lives, we can’t do something, but we can also do something.师播放课件,Maybe you can’t sing English songs, but you can play the pipa. I remember a Chinese proverb says “Overcome one’s shortcoming by learning from others strong points.”(取人之长,补己
之短)I believe you’ll be a man of wide interests, enjoy yourselves. (我相信你们将会成为一个兴趣广泛,热爱生活的人!)
Step 6: Homework
1.Master all the phrases and main sentences, try to use them in the real
situation.
2. Remember to practice your programs for the party after class.
