We all live on the earth, do you know why the weather is getting warmer? Do you know why sandstorms are more and more frequent? And do you know why the suggestion of low-carbon lifestyle is becoming more popular? The reason of is that the earth is sick!
For a long time, people have exploited mineral resources, so according to the traditional consumption calculation, the amount of world oil is just enough to use for
50more years. The amount of coal and natural gas is just enough to last about 200-300 years of mining! If the inside of earth is empty, it will be painful!
The wide use of mineral resources causes a lot of pollutions. For example, burning oil can emit carbon dioxide 、sulfur dioxide and many other harmful gases. The carbon dioxide contributes to global warming and the sulfur dioxide causes acid rain. So it is difficult for the earth to breathe and it feels uncomfortable!
Along with the development of commodity economy, commodity raw materials become more and more important. As the most common material, wood has attracted people's attention. People are cutting down trees crazily. In total, 2000 square meters per minute of forest is destroyed on
earth. This causes a serious desertification. The sandstorms get more frequent, and it makes much more pollution! So the earth can't maintain it's temperature or pleasant atmosphere.
Nowadays, people have already realized the earth is sick and people are also in a big trouble. So low-carbon lifestyle initiative is a popular action. If everyone saves a drop of water, treasures a kilowatt-hour of electricity and uses less oil, it will make a strong effect for earth!
