一、教材分析《Sports Stars》是教材版本教材具体单元中的一篇阅读文本。

本单元的主题是“体育明星”,通过介绍一些著名的体育明星,激发学生对体育的兴趣和热爱。

这篇阅读文本主要介绍了两位体育明星——姚明和李娜,分别从他们的运动项目、成就、影响力等方面进行了描述。

二、学情分析本次授课的对象是具体年级的学生。

一、教学内容分析:
本节课是Unit 8的第一课时,学生在Unit 7及之前的单元中已经学习了有关运动类的单词短语,同时对一般现在进行时态也有了初步的了解。

本节课主要是在进一步巩固一般进行时态的学习的同时,通过展示真实的图片和情境,拓展学生在体育运动方面的眼界,并希望他们能在实际的生活中运用所学的句子,提高学生的语言表达能力。

二、教学对象分析:
四年级的学生在学习英语单词时会采取不同的方法自由预习,如先听录音、看单词按音素自己先拼读等,他们已养成了一种先学的习惯,特别是对他们本身感兴趣的内容就更加认真,也会掌握得好一些。

体育运动是他们感兴趣的内容,而体育明星也是他们乐于讨论的话题。

三、教学目标:
1、语言知识:
1)单词:be good at , gold medal , championship , the 36th World Table Tennis Championships, Well done ! weight-lifting , setter ,
record , reporter ,also,
2)重点句型:
Which sports are you good at ? I’m good at…
2、语言技能:
1)能理解重点句型并流利准确地使用句型来询问和回答自己擅长的运动,能仿照课文句子完成说话任务活动。

2)在所学的基础以上,能回答一些简单的问题。

3、情感态度:
1)认识一些我国著名的运动员,了解我国运动员所获得的杰出成绩,增强学生的民族自信心和自豪感。

四、教学重点:
1、本课的词汇、短语。

2、正确运用句型:Which sports are you good at? I’m good at……
五、教学难点:
基本流利地读出句子China has seven gold medals from the 36th World Table Tennis Championships. We also have seven gold medals from the 43rd World championships.
六、教学策略:
1、借助实物、图片、多媒体等帮助学生理解短语、句子和课文。

2、采用小组合作学习形式,操练难掌握的句型。

1、预习课文、先学习单词。

2、查找体育明星的图片和资料。
