Weishanhu Lake
• As the largest fresh-water lake in the northern part of our country, Weishan Lake is like a long and narrow ribbon（带）, lying in the boundary of Shan Dong and Jiang Su Province. • The lake is surrounded by woods, reeds（芦苇 ）, and lotuses ponds （荷花池塘）; fishing boats float beneath sunsets as smoke rises from kitchen chimneys （烟囱）and fishing girls play the traditional lute（传统琵琶）. It is a scene almost pictured perfect. Among which, miles of dazzling lotuses are the highlights in the lake.

郭沫若曾说：“这是一个很好的自然博物馆，也是孔氏家族的一部编年史”。
• The Cemetery of Confucius lies to the north of the town of Qufu, the oldest graves found in this location date back to the Zhou Dynasty. The original tomb standing here in memory of Confucius on the bank of the Sishui River. Tombs for the descendants of Confucius and additional stela(石碑) to commemorate him were soon added around Confucius' tomb. More than 10,000 mature trees give the cemetery a forest-like appearance.
• Apart from understanding the legendary story of heroes and educated by thought of humanism ,you can also appreciate the dramatic（戏剧性） performance imitated the scene at that time.Meanwhile,you can eat meat boldly and drink wine generously.

八百里水泊梁山
• Mount Liang was located at the extreme north of what became known as the "eight hundred li moorage of Mount Liang".
The complex is the second largest historical building complex in China. It covers an area of 16,000 square meters and has a total of 460rooms. The main part of the temple consists of 9 courtyards arranged on a central axis（轴线）, which is oriented（定…的方位）in the north-south direction and is 1,3km in length.
Natural resources
• Weishanhu Lake is rich in natural resources. There is profusion of fishes, shrimps（小虾米） , aquatic plants, birds etc. It is not exaggerated to call it the natural museum.

Kong Family mansion
• The descendants of Confucius lived in the Kong family mansion located to the east of the temple. They were in charge of tending to the temple and cemetery. . Today, the mansion comprises 152 buildings with 480 rooms, which cover an area of 12,470 square metres. • In particular, they were in charge of conducting religious ceremonies on occasions such as plantings, harvests, honoring the dead, and birthdays.

• It is known that bandit（ 强 盗） were active in the area during the Northern Song, Some of the bandits on Mount Liangshan preyed （掠 夺s）electively upon the rich and became known as “righteous bandits” (yi fei 義 匪). Legends（传奇故事） about the heroes of Mount Liangshan, which provided the basis for the Water Margin（水浒传）, probably formed from this historical context.

The Dacheng Hall
It’s the most principal building and served as the principal place for offering sacrifices(祭品) to the memory of Confucius.It is supported by 28 richly decorated pillars(柱子), the 10 columns(圆柱) on the front side of the hall are decorated with coiled dragons.
