Do you agree or disagree: Improving schools is the most important factor in successful development of country.Intro:1.
When it comes to the development of a country, many people believe that societal source should give priority to education, which is the most essential ingredient for successful development. However, I can not agree with this statement. It's worthwhile and necessary to develop education, but to say that schools improvement is the most important factor to develop a country is out of point. Education can not guarantee the development of a country if the improvements of other equally important aspects are omitted.First, a country will not be successfully developed if it neglects to create or can not offer enough job opportunities. Basically, if the economy does not generate enough good professional jobs to absorb the influx of highly educated young adults, improving in school seems to be meaningless to a society. Worse yet, too many jobless graduates may even bring instability to a country. That's because unemployment can elicit their dissatisfactions and disappointments to the authorities which may spur the abuse of their intelligence. Also, little concern about social system improvement can threaten the development course regardless of top-level schools. Suppose that when getting a good job is not much connected withcapability but social connections, which facilitates the way for the offspring of nouveau riche and the politically connected, that's, degree does not mean so much commercially, fresh graduates would be frustrated. This undoubtedly runs contrary to our expectation of improving schools if youngsters lack their confidence in upward mobility which education is supposed to bring them. In addition, many students studying abroad don't come back after graduation for the reason that they can enjoy better social security there.Admittedly, education plays a important role in the improvement of a modern country and gives the nation a competitive edge in this age of globalization. However, a country which desires a successful development should put same importance on not only education but also other equally fundamental aspects of the society. In light of these, I would like to say that I personally disagree with the statement that improving schools is the most important factor in successful development of country, and with my example I wanted to illustrate that a successful development depends on many aspects that a nation who wants to be more successfully developed should pay close attention to.。
托福作文-教育类范文
教育类范文People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university?Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. In China, more and more people try their best to attend college or university. What are the reasons that make people long for it?First of all, in my opinion, the most important reason is to gain competence to live a better life in the future. Competition of our days has become more and more drastic, and even a very simple job or low position will attract hundreds of candidates to apply for it. Only those who have a good education and general knowledge can gain better work. So, we should attend college or university for better competence.Second, attending college or university can change our life. For example, to myself, I am a student from countryside. I am one of the few people who can attend college or university. Most of those who have not studied in college or university go to work early in a small factory in a small town or on a farm in their hometown. Just because I have taken higher education, I can get better chances to study or work in the capital of our country where a lot of people want to go to. Why? Good education gives me chances to change my life. The third reason for attending a college is to increase knowledge. Study is a so interesting thing that it make our life rich and colorful. It expands our eyesight by informing us with lots of new things what we cannot gain from our common life or experience. On the other hand, by attending college or university, you can learn the knowledge or skill necessary for your future work.People attend college or university for various reasons. Some may attend for new experiences, and others may think about other things. What I have mentioned is just very few of them.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents are the best teachers. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.Parents influence their children dramatically for a lifetime. I think people are molded by two factors, family and the society that they are in. From birth, humans are influenced by the surrounding people for their characteristics. Parents play an indispensable role in bringing up children, which, of course, affects their lives for a long time.In early infanthood, babies are looking to moms and dads to learn basic manners to be accepted in society. Some of these manners include not running around in restaurants or hitting other kids. As they grow up, they learn more from parents about social etiquette, which makes them more suitable to live in society. Children tend to look to their parents for role models knowingly or unknowingly.Besides, parents can also affect children's study habits. Children of doctors , lawyers, investment bankers, and other professionals see their mothers and fathers work a lot of time, reading books, and punching keyboards, even at home. They are showing their children how to study by their own behavior. However, parents can also be a bad example for their kids. It is difficult for children who have abusive parents to lead a normal childhood and is possible that they may become similar to their abusive parents when they grow up. In this case, the parents' negative role in shaping the children's personality cannot be emphasized more.In conclusion, parents are the best teachers for their children. They leave big marks on their children's lives and are therefore more influential teachers than any others they may have in their lives.Learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.I disagree wholeheartedly that learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present. In fact, the definition of learning includes the idea of an accumulation of experiences from the past. Learning can only take place if we make an association between things that have happened in the past or between something in the past and something that we predict will happen in the future. All knowledge that we acquire as we grow is from the past-language, customs, academic subjects, and so on. So, in a very real sense, all learning depends on past events. We are only able to live in this world with our current standard of living because we have learned from the past. We receive knowledge from the past and we are able to use it and improve it. We examine our actions in the past and we make judgments about what was right and what was wrong. Then, it is hoped that we will attempt to avoid those same mistakes again.Furthermore, all of the knowledge that we have today is a result of all the work of our predecessors. The ancient Greeks developed geometry, which helped other European scientists analyze the solar system, which in turn gave us a new understanding of our place in the universe. The great majority of technology today also depends directly on several thousands of years of work of past thinkers. To ignore the knowledge of the past would be to throw away five thousand years of history and experience. There is, however, some seemingly small, but important value to ignoring the past. It is often the case that history or tradition has the effect of constraining our thought in the present and many important philosophical and scientific breakthroughs have only been possible as a direct result of ignoring the past. The past, in a sense, can blind us to the truth, we can become bound by tradition. For example, at one time, leading thinkers in Europe thought that the Earth was at the center of the universe and those who disagreed were persecuted as heretics, even Copernicus, who we now know was correct about his heliocentric model of the Solar System. However, scientists were eventually able to break from the past and accept the new model of the universe. In short, learning from and analyzing the past has enormous value for us and life as we know it on Earth today would not be possible without the benefit of thousands of years of history and accumulated knowledge. It is important, however, to ignore the past so that we can make a step forward, and such free thinking should be encouraged, although not at the expense of past knowledge. Learning from the past is something like learning from our parents-in most cases, their past helps us have a better future, but there are times when we need to make a break from the past and make a bold step into an unknown future.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Classmates are a more important influence than parents on a child's success in school. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.According to my experience, I fully agree the view that classmates are a more important influence than parents on a child’s success in school. I like to use following reasons to explain why I think do.The first and most important reason is children can easily share their thoughts with peers. Undoubtedly, children can readily exchange their ideas in front of classmates. I clearly remember that I used to like to confide my troubles to my little friends when I found that my parents could not utterly understand my thoughts. Sometimes when I got a score with which my parents were not satisfied, my friends could give me comfort, which motivated me greatly to continue to study.Another equally important reason is that the communication with classmates frequently is good for the cultivation of our characteristic. When we often talk to our classmates or friends, we can find our own advantages and drawbacks of which we may not be aware when we are staying with our parents. Classmates can frankly point out our shortages, which is necessary for our future self-development.Of course, I admit that parents can also give us much help. For example, they can teach us to tell what is correct and what is not. And when we encounter difficulties, they always give us immediate help. But if all factors are considered, the influence of classmates clearly outweigh that of our parents. From what has been discussed above, we can safely draw the conclusion that classmates are a more important influence than parents on a child’s success in school. Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer. There's much controversy about the necessity of daily homework for students. Some say homework is necessary since only practice makes perfect, while others disagree because they believe a student should have the freedom to study whatever in whatever forms just as he/she likes to. In my opinion, daily homework is necessary for students.First, a teacher could assign homework as a guide for the students to study. A student needs help of a teacher because he or she may not have an overall understanding of the knowledge he is going to study as the teacher. This means, at the beginning, a student could not well plan his or her study, just as a kid who is in a swimming pool for the first time could do nothing but play with water. And a teacher could make a good study plan for him or her, so that he or she could learn efficiently.Secondly,Sometimes, even when a student, especially a young one, has already understood what he/she should do in order to master some skill or knowledge, he/she might still be unwilling to do this for the lack of motivation. It seems to be a lie when one tells that he or she has never been lazy, at least once in their life, about studying. So some homework could function as a task for the student to perform, which is helpful to motivate him/her.Thirdly, homework is an important form of feedback for a teacher to understand the effectivity of his/her work. As I have mentioned before, a teacher makes a study plan for the students; but does it really work? or does it work for all the students? It's not difficult to know this only if the teacher pay some attention to the homework of the students. Then he/she may be able to find if there's any problems in his own teaching, and make corresponding adjustment to that, either for all the students or for a single one. Without some feedback, it is impossible for the teacher to do this. A test is also a good form of feedback, but obviously one or two tests are not enough, and sometimes this kind of feedback just comes too late. However, This conclusion might be misleading that one may believe all forms of homework are necessary. Actually, only proper amount of homework in proper forms is acceptable; some homework may not only fail to help the students, but ,on contrary, bore them, so much so that they may lose their innate interest to study. So, "Proper" homework, in my opionion, should vary in its forms; it might be some extensive reading, a paper, or even just a game, as well as other ordinary exercises. And it should leave enough freedom to the students so that they could do things they really like to do with self-motivation, rather than unwillingness. In conclusion, we should always remember that homework is something for us to guide the students, rather than drive them. Only if a teacher keep this in his/her mind, the homework could be of most help to the students.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Grades (marks) encourage students to learn. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion. In many schools, teachers evaluate students by their grades. Many people think that it is unfair and one-sided to do this and it will discourage students to learn. I believe, however, grades can encourage students to learn. The reasons can be analyzed as follows.First of all, tests are important for students’ learning. Attending classes is not enough for students to truly grasp the key points in a subject, no matter how carefully they listen to what teachers say. They need examinations to review the lessons. In most cases, grades or marks are the only means by which teachers measure students’ learning ability and learning progress. T herefore, grades encourage students to study for examinations, and it is good system for them to learn the subjects.Secondly, test scores are a standard measurement for students’ learning ability and knowledge level, which is why universities all over the world use test results to decide whether to give admission, offer fellowships, and grant a graduation to a student or not. Also, high school teachers use the results as a means to evaluate the effects of teaching, and students’ learning progress. By tes t scores, teachers also know each individual student’s ability to learn.Thirdly, test results can stimulate a student to work hard on his courses. The testing mechanism encourages students to work hard in order to achieve a better result; they will devote more time on study, and develop a "never give up" spirit. This will not only benefit their study, but also teach them the truth that everyone needs constant learning and hard working in order to be useful to this society. so they can have good performance in schools and be superior to others in other aspects; for example, such natures are important factors even after finishing schools. I believe most students understand the importance of these qualities and impacts on their life; therefore they know how important it is to work hard and try to achieve a better score. In conclusion, marks can stimulate student to learn, and good marks can give them advantages in going to a good university and finding a good job. Therefore I strongly support the statement that marks can encourage students to learn.。
While physical exercise is important, I do not believe that it is the school’s responsibility to provide physical training for its students. That is something that everyone can take care of on his or her own. Many students get plenty of physical exercise as part of their daily life or recreation. A student who bicycles ten miles to and from school does not need more exercise. A good physical education program must take a student’s outside activity into consideration. Otherwise, some students will spend valuable class hours repeating physical exercise. If a school offers such activities, it also suggests that students will be graded on them. The range of possible physical activities is great: football, swimming, weight lifting, ballet, ballroom dance, yoga, skiing, horseback riding, and golf are just a few. However, the number that a school could offer is small. Some students could get bad grades in physical education simply because the school could not provide an activity they enjoy or do well. This seems unfair. Research suggests that participation, not excellence, in these activities determines the physical benefits the body will get.Another issue is economic. Many schools do not have the money to provide gym facilities, playing fields, and athletic equipment for their students. Other schools are located in cities where that kind of space just isn’t available. A few schools would rather keep money for academic purposes.Schools can certainly encourage physical activity. They can provide space for notices about activities, events, and classes for physical activities. They can encourage students to plan time away from academic studies to get some exercise. However, I think that providing exercise should not be the school’s responsibility.一人学or一起学,你选哪个?Study habits are very individual. Some people like to study alone, while others like to study with a group. Personally, I would rather study alone, but I can see advantages to both ways.It can be very helpful to study with other students. For one thing, you can exchange information about the topic. Not everyone is going to hear everything the teacher says in class. Comparing notes is a good way to be sure you get what you missed. You can also discuss various aspects of the topic. Other students can bring a different perspective to the discussion. They can point out things you may not have thought of , and help you make your arguments clearer.Studying with other students can also help keep you focused onstudying. If you’re in a stu dy group, you have to be at a particular place to study at a particular(特别的;详细的;独有的;挑剔的)time. This is good discipline(训练;纪律;学科;符合行为准则的行为). The group reviews all the material available and then begins studying. There’s not a lot of wasted time, if things work the way they should.Of course, it doesn’t help if you’re in a study group that doesn’t take studying seriously. Then you’d be much better of studying by yourself. If you’re trying to study with friends and all they want to do is talk about other th ings, you’d get more done going somewhere to study by yourself. Being with people who don’t want to study can mean you’ll be constantly distracted. There’ll be a lot of interruptions(中断;打断;障碍物;打岔的事), and you won’t gain much hearing they points of view on a study subject. Finally, whether you study alone or in a group depends a lot on your own study habits and on your personality. If you need absolute quiet to study, then you’re better off alone. If you’re a very social person, then you’re better off studying alone, too: you’ll be too tempted to socialize instead of studying. This is the reason I prefer studying alone. When I’m with other people, I want to play, I don’t want to work.教育的托福作文 2你喜欢上课__讨论吗?In my country, the lecture system is the most mon system. It is the one I prefer for three reasons: I am used t the lecture system; it is anefficient system; I am too shy to talk in class. All my life, I have listened to teachers. They e into the room, open their books, and start to lecture. We students sit quietly at our desks and take notes. We never ask questions because we don’t want to seem stupid. At the end of the course, we are given a test. If we can repeat on the test what the teacher said in class, we will get a good grade. The lecture system is an efficient one. Te teacher is the one who knows the subject, not the students. It is a waste of time listening to a student’s ideas. What good will that does me? Time is short. I want the teacher to give me as much information as he or she can during the class period.Even if we could talk in class, I would never open my mouth. I am much too shy. I would be afraid the other students would laugh at me and make fun of my ideas. I prefer to listen to the teacher and memorize the teacher’s i deas.I hope I can always study in a school where they use the lecture system. I think it is better to continue with what one is used to. I also think that there is a lot of information that I must learn in the most efficient manner possible. I wouldn’t want to interrupt a teacher with my foolish questions.伦勃朗的油画The lecture revises the idea presented in the text, that Rembrandt wasnot the artist who painted the famous painting “Portrait of an Elderly Woman in a White Bonnet”.The inconsistency between the white cap, which identifies the woman as a servant, and the expensive fur collar she wears dissolves as the Professor explains that the fur collar was apparently painted over the 5 original painting to increase its worth by displaying an aristocratic woman. In addition, the assumption that light and shadow in the painting do not fit together is refuted by the fact that in the original painting, the woman wears a light cloth that illuminated her face. Thus the presentation of light and shadow was indeed very realistic and accurate, as it is characteristic of Rembrandt’s paintings. Finally, the mystery of the panel consisting of patches glued together is also solved in the lecture. Actually, the wood panel was later enlarged to make it more grand and valuable, but the original painting was painted on a single panel, as Rembrandt would have done it. Furthermore, the wood is of the same tree used in other Rembrandt paintings, like the "Self-Portrait with a Hat”.All this information points to Rembrandt as the painter of the controversial painting.远程教育好还是传统教育好If I have a choice between studying at home using puters and television or studying in a traditional school setting, I’d choose thetraditional setting . Maybe it’s just what I’m used to ,but I don’t think that technology can replace teachers and classrooms. After all, technology can fail. Computers go down and puter programs crash. Televisions break, and the electricity can suddenly go off. In those situations, who's going to teach me? If I'm at school, and the television or the puters stop functioning, there's a teacher to step in and change the lesson plan. Teachers can draw on their teaching experience and be creative. Computers and televisions can't.I'd also miss the chance to interact with other students if I weren't going to school. I think learning to play and work with other people is one of the most important lessons we learn in school. It prepares us for life, and for working with other people. Being with other people also helps us discover who we are.Another concern I have about studying at home is getting distracted. It's strange, but I think being home alone is more distracting than being at school with a lot of people. At school, we're all focused on the same subjects. At home, it would be so easy to turn off the puter or the television and go do something else. I might tell myself that it's okay to play a puter game now and make up the study hours later. Chances are,I'd never make up the study hours.I'm all in favor of using technology in the classroom. I think puters and television are great ways for students to have access to a lot ofinformation. I just don't think they should be the only tools I have as a student. I also need teachers and other students to help me get a plete education.。

However, these qualities can be effectively nurtured alongside honesty, which serves as the foundational value that underpins both helpfulness and organization. Conclusion:In conclusion, of the values presented—being helpful, being honest, and being well-organized—honesty stands out as the most important to share with young children. 下⾯是⼩编整理的关于教育的托福作⽂,希望能帮到⼤家! ⽂理哪个重要 I think it’s more important for students to study history and literature. these subjects help us understand the human race and feed our spirits and our imaginations. That’s more important than understanding how to split the atom or do algebra. People talk about a crisis of spirit in our country. They mean we’ve forgotten how to believe in and understand our own better natures. I think part of this is because we’ve become too excited about facts and not enough about things we can’t see and measure. Reading books from our own culture helps us understand our roots. Reading books from other cultures helps us understand the way other people think and react to situations. It also teaches us that we’re not so very different from others, and that leads to better relations between cultures. Reading literature also feeds our spirits. Even when the material we’re reading is about terrible sadness and hardship, it still brings us in touch with our inner selves. It makes us think about issues other than new car we want to drive or how much money we’re making. Studying history gives us more information than just who died when or who won which war. It tell us about how human beings have related to each other at different periods in our development. It gives us the big picture. So often, when international crises occur, we only see the problem of the moment. We have no idea how something that happened twenty years ago was the beginning of this current problem. Without that information, we can have only a shallow understanding of ? going on in the world. Both history and literature are necessary subjects for students to prepare for more than just careers. These subjects prepare students for the way they want to live their lives. 现在⽐以前更容易接受教育 As is known to all, receiving education has always been the main way for us to acquire knowledge throughout the human civilization history. Recently there has been a hot debate whether education today is more accessible to the public than in the past. As far as I am concerned, there is no doubt that people nowadays have much easier access to education with the following reasons. To begin with, the advent of various high-tech products has enriched the ways and approaches to receive education. Obviously, with the introduction of advanced means of education, educational resources take on multiple forms such as distant education and online study, which make knowledge more accessible to us. However, in the past, the only way to get educated was to attend classess in traditional schools, which definitely increases the difficulty of gaining education. For example, in the process of making preparations for TOEFL test, I want to take class in Beijing New Oriental School. But I am an undergraduate student of a university far away from Beijing. Meanwhile, due to the academic pressure from my college study, it is impossible for me to take a month off and to have an intensive course in Beijing. Thanks to the online courses, I can take these classes in my college while handling the tasks and assignment from my field of study. The online courses make possible the in-time response to my questions and online submission of assignments. Secondly, since more and more importance is being attached to education, it is much easier and essential to get educated than in the past. Under the society full of intense competition, acquiring formal education has become the essenital precondition for anyone to make a living. As a result, the public awareness of receiving education is much stronger than before, leading to a common phenomenon that an increasing number of parents send their kids to study abroad. However, inthe bygone days/in the old days, the requirement for a person was not as strict as it is today, with the result that less attention was paid to education. According to a survey conducted by the National Educational Department in China, the number of students who take the national college entrance examination has risen from 88.3% in 2008 to 92.5% in 2013. Meanwhile, another research shows that the literacy rate in China has increased by 23.6% in 2013 compared with 61.50% in 1993. The above data has shown that the number of educated people has gone through a dramatic rise, which indirectly indicates that education now is more available to the public. Admittedly, some areas in the world may be cited as an exception. For instance, people in the war-stricken areas including Iraq and Syria do not have easier access to education and some of them are even on the verge of starvation. In these areas, the current educational situation is not better than that in the past. However, such cases only occupy such a tiny percentage of the global population that they can be neglected. In conclusion, I believe that it is much easier for the public to receive education than in the past with the aid of technology and the awakening sense of education.。

托福写作辅导:托福考试满分作文欣赏(1)Which one do you prefer, to solve problems on your own experience and knowledge, or to ask others for advice? As knowledge and experience serve as twim towers in problem—solving, one is often presented with two major paths that pave the way for final fulfillment, eitther to wrack his brain, just like what happened to Neuton, siiting for many years under an apple tree and eventually figuring out ond of the greatest universal rules that govern the whole globe, or to seek for others’ widsom through their advice, just as in the case of Benjinin Franklin, gathering great minds under one roof and then establishing a most world—renown libray. Both ways work。
When a practical goal is involved, however,Benjimin Franklin may best be regareded as a role model in this respect and asking people for advice often turn out to be the prime alternative.Experience and knowledge borrowed or learned from others’ advice contribute greatly to effectiveness and effeciency for a goal—accomplishment。

In this essay, we will explore the impact of globalization on education, particularly the rise of distance learning through the Internet and its implications on international student exchange programs.Firstly, the growth of online learning platforms has revolutionized distance education. With the help of advanced technologies, students can now attend classes, interact with teachers and classmates, and access course materials from anywhere in the world. Globalization has made education more accessible, particularly for those living in remote or underdeveloped areas. Distance learning provides them with an opportunity to pursue higher education without moving to a different city or country.Furthermore, globalization has also fostered the rise of international student exchange programs. With the goal of promoting cultural understanding and linguistic proficiency, such programs enable students to study abroad and immersethemselves in different educational and cultural environments. Through these programs, students gain valuable cross-cultural experience and lifelong friendships. The globalization of education has broken down barriers between countries and fostered a more inclusive and tolerant worldview. However, the globalization of education is not without its challenges. Distance learning can lead to isolation and lack of interaction with peers and teachers. Additionally, the cost of online education can be prohibitive for many students. The growth of international student exchange programs has also been marred by issues such as visa restrictions, cost, and language barriers. In conclusion, the globalization of education has transformed the way we view and access knowledge. Distance learning and international student exchange programs have opened up new opportunities for individuals to pursue higher education and develop cross-cultural skills. However, we must also recognize the challenges posed by globalization, such as isolation, cost, and access barriers, and work towards overcoming them. Through continued efforts to make education more inclusive and accessible, we can create a better tomorrow for generations to come.。
托福满分作文范文第一篇
托福满分作文范文第一篇The best way to improve the quality of education is to increase teachers' salaries.Educational improvement as the heatedly discussed issue has been controversial since it was raised up. Because of its crucial position in the modern social development, the public and authorities are concerned with the educational quality under scrutiny. As the issue is caught by such attention, some educators propose to raise teacher's salary, a simple and direct way to propel the process of the quality improvement. Rational seems the plan from economic perspective, but obviously better alternatives could reach the final goal. Several points in different dimensions will be demonstrated and explained to testify my hypothesis.First of all, a question hanging over my head, what elements decide the quality of the education? “Best” way should exploit teacher, students and facilities comprehensively instead of narrowing to one factor. This is the fundamental drawback of the proposal. Not only the teachers but also the students should be motivated to avoid the negative response from students. Assuming that a group of students born with silver spoon have none of interest in learning, then a high salary teacher who is highly energetic just means nothing. In another word, high salary teacher doesn’t equal to motivated students.Learning is such an intricate project that utilizes both the teaching and the learning tools. Facilities such as libraries benefit the students in another way which reinforce what they were taught during the class time and provide a place to explore the uncovered. Pitching investment in the fundamental facilitiescould diversify the learning pattern and enhance the quality of education after class. Indispensible are the feedback and review for students, therefore, constructing the new learning facilities stimulate the motivation and efficiency of learning, on the other hand, the need of people who are willing to study could also be satisfied. In addition, most teachers who devote themselves to the career worship that teaching is a noble thing. Raising salary to spur them might result in the chaos of the industry, causing people to chase after money instead of job satisfaction. Demerits will overweigh the merits if the plan executed. Budget should be assigned to training fees of teachers to guarantee that they are competent and capable of their duties. Educational improvement could be realized only if the resources were allocated appropriately. Finally, I would like to emphasize that increasing the salary is a good way to improve the quality of education but not the best way. As I mentioned, considering the whole influencing factors to come up with a well-rounded plan is the primary direction to the educators and authorities. Only in this way, I believe, education are making better.。

托福教学建议作文模板英文
托福教学建议作文模板英文英文:When it comes to TOEFL teaching, I have a few suggestions that I believe would be helpful for both teachers and students. Firstly, I think it's important for teachers to focus on individual needs and weaknesses of their students. TOEFL is not a one-size-fits-all test, and every student has their own strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, teachers should tailor their teaching methods and materials to meet the specific needs of each student.Secondly, I think it's crucial for students to practice as much as possible. TOEFL is a test that requires a lot of practice, and students need to be familiar with the format and types of questions in order to perform well. Teachers should provide their students with ample practice materials and encourage them to take practice tests regularly.Thirdly, I believe that it's important for teachers tocreate a positive and supportive learning environment. TOEFL can be a stressful and daunting experience for many students, and a positive and supportive teacher can makeall the difference. Teachers should encourage their students to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn from them. Finally, I think it's important for students to develop good study habits and time management skills. TOEFL requires a lot of preparation and dedication, and students need to be able to manage their time effectively in order to succeed. Teachers should provide their students withtips and strategies for effective studying and time management.中文:谈到托福教学,我有一些建议,我相信这些建议对老师和学生都会有所帮助。
托福英文作文范文10篇
托福英文作文范文1. 教育话题题目:Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: It is more important for students to study history and literature than it is for them to study science and mathematics?I strongly agree with the statement that studying history and literature is more important for students than studying science and mathematics. While science and mathematics are undoubtedly valuable subjects, history and literature provide students with a well-rounded education that fosters critical thinking, cultural understanding, and communication skills.History allows students to learn from the past, understand the evolution of societies, and gain insights into the consequences of human actions. Literature, on the other hand, exposes students to diverse perspectives, fosters empathy, and enhances language skills. While science and mathematics are essential for technological advancements, history and literature provide the ethical and cultural context necessary for responsible innovation. Therefore, a balanced curriculum that includes history and literature is vital for developing informed and well-rounded individuals.2. 科技与社会题目:Some people believe that technology has made children less creative than they were in the past. Do you agree or disagree?I disagree with the notion that technology has made children less creative. While technology has introduced new forms of entertainment and learning, it has also provided opportunities for creativity and innovation.Technology enables children to engage in various creative activities. They can create digital art, compose music using software, and even design video games.Additionally, access to information and diverse perspectives through the internet can inspire creativity and expand their horizons. Moreover, technology often requires problem-solving and critical thinking skills, which are fundamental to creativity. Children who use technology to solve puzzles, code, or explore scientific concepts are actively engaging their creative minds. In conclusion, technology can serve as a powerful tool to foster creativity in children when used thoughtfully and in moderation. It opens up new avenues for expression and problem-solving, making it a valuable asset rather than a hindrance to creativity.3. 环境问题题目:Some people think that environmental problems are too big for individuals to solve, and that only governments and large companies can make a difference. To what extent do you agree or disagree?I disagree with the notion that individuals cannot make a difference in solving environmental problems. While government and large companies play significant roles, individual actions collectively have a substantial impact on the environment.Individuals can reduce their carbon footprint by conserving energy, using public transportation, and adopting sustainable practices in their daily lives. By making environmentally conscious choices, such as reducing plastic waste or conserving water, individuals contribute to positive environmental change.Furthermore, individual actions can influence governments and corporations. Grassroots movements and consumer demand for eco-friendly products have led to policy changes and increased corporate responsibility. For instance, the push for renewable energy sources and stricter environmental regulations has been driven, in part, by public awareness and advocacy. In conclusion, individuals have the power to make a difference in addressing environmental problems through their choices, actions, and influence on largerentities. While governments and corporations have a crucial role to play, individual efforts are integral to creating a sustainable future.4. 社会问题题目:Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: It is important for governments to spend money on art such as music, painting, and dance?I strongly agree with the statement that it is important for governments to spend money on art. Art plays a vital role in society, fostering cultural enrichment, creativity, and social cohesion.Government investment in art supports cultural preservation and heritage. Museums, galleries, and cultural institutions receive funding to protect and showcase valuable artworks, preserving the cultural identity and history of a nation.Art also enhances creativity and innovation, benefiting society as a whole. Exposure to various forms of art, such as music, painting, and dance, stimulates creative thinking, problem-solving, and individual expression. This creativity can have positive impacts in fields beyond art, including science, technology, and business.Additionally, art contributes to social cohesion by providing a platform for shared experiences and expressions of diverse perspectives. Cultural events and artistic performances bring communities together, fostering a sense of unity and belonging. In conclusion, government investment in art is a wise allocation of resources that promotes cultural preservation, creativity, and social cohesion. It enriches society in ways that extend beyond the artistic realm.5. 移民与多元文化题目:Some people believe that immigrants should adopt the culture of their new country, while others think they should maintain their own cultural traditions. Discuss both views and give your opinion. The question of whether immigrants should adopt the culture of their new country or maintain their own cultural traditions is a complex one, with valid arguments on both sides.Advocates for cultural assimilation argue that adopting the culture of the host country is essential for social cohesion and integration. They contend that shared values, language, and customs facilitate better communication and understanding among diverse communities. Cultural assimilation, they argue, helps immigrants become active and productive members of their new society. On the other hand, supporters of cultural preservation argue that maintaining one's cultural traditions is vital for preserving identity and diversity. They believe that a multicultural society is enriched by the contributions of various cultures and that immigrants should not be forced to abandon their heritage. Cultural preservation, they argue, can lead to a more vibrant and inclusive society. In my opinion, the ideal approach lies in a balance between assimilation and cultural preservation. Immigrants should have the freedom to choose which aspects of their cultural heritage they wish to maintain, while also respecting and adapting to the cultural norms and values of their new country. This balance allows for the coexistence of diverse cultures while fostering integration and understanding within the broader society.6. 健康与生活方式题目:Some people believe that the government should promote a vegetarian diet to improve public health, while others think it should be a personal choice. Discuss both views and give your opinion. The promotion of a vegetarian diet by the government to improve public health is a topic of debate. Some argue that it should be a personal choice, while others believe in government intervention.Proponents of government promotion of a vegetarian diet argue that it can lead to better public health outcomes by reducing the consumption of meat, which is associated with various health risks. They contend that government campaigns can educate the public about the benefits of a vegetarian diet and provide incentives for healthier eating. On the other hand, advocates for personal choice argue that individuals should have the freedom to make their dietary decisions based on their preferences and beliefs. They believe that government should not interfere in matters of personal choice, including what people choose to eat.In my view, the government should play a role in promoting healthy dietary choices, but it should not mandate a vegetarian diet. Education and awareness campaigns can provide information about the health benefits of reducing meat consumption, but the ultimate decision should rest with individuals. Encouraging a balanced and informed approach to diet is key to improving public health.7. 社会问题题目:Some people argue that the death penalty should be abolished because it is inhumane, while others believe it serves as an effective deterrent for serious crimes. Discuss both views and give your opinion. The debate over the death penalty is a contentious one, with arguments on both sides regarding its humanity and effectiveness as a deterrent for serious crimes.Opponents of the death penalty argue that it is inhumane and violates the right to life. They contend that there is a risk of executing innocent individuals, and that the death penalty does not serve as an effective deterrent, as there is no conclusive evidence that it reduces serious crimes. On the other hand, proponents of the death penalty believe that it serves as a powerful deterrent for heinous crimes such as murder. They argue that it provides closure to victims' families and ensures that dangerous criminals do not have the opportunity to commit further crimes. In my opinion, the death penalty should be abolished. The potential for irreversible errors in judgment and the ethical concerns surrounding taking a human life outweigh any potential deterrent effect. Alternative forms of punishment, such as life imprisonment, can ensure public safety without resorting to state-sanctioned killing.8. 教育话题题目:Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: All students should be required to study art and music in secondary school.I strongly agree with the statement that all students should be required to study art and music in secondary school. Art and music education offer numerous benefits that contribute to a well-rounded education and personal development.Firstly, art and music stimulate creativity and self-expression. They provide students with an outlet for their emotions and thoughts, fostering imagination and critical thinking. These skills are valuable in various aspects of life and can enhance problem-solving abilities.Secondly, art and music education promote cultural appreciation and awareness. They expose students to different artistic styles, historical periods, and culturaltraditions, fostering empathy and an understanding of diverse perspectives. This cultural awareness is essential in an increasingly globalized world.Furthermore, art and music can have a positive impact on emotional well-being. They provide avenues for stress relief and self-reflection, contributing to mental and emotional health. In conclusion, requiring students to study art and music in secondary school is essential for their holistic development. These subjects nurture creativity, cultural understanding, and emotional well-being, making them integral components of a comprehensive education.9. 科技与社会题目:Some people believe that advancements in technology, such as the internet and smartphones, have made people more isolated and less sociable. Do you agree or disagree? The impact of advancements in technology, including the internet and smartphones, on social interactions is a matter of debate. Some argue that these technologies have made people more isolated and less sociable, while others disagree.I agree with the view that advancements in technology have had a mixed impact on social interactions. While they have created new forms of communication and connection, they have also brought challenges related to isolation and reducedface-to-face interaction.Technology, such as social media and instant messaging, enables people to stay in touch with friends and family, even across great distances. It can also facilitate the formation of online communities and support networks. However, the overuse of technology can lead to reduced physical interactions, as people spend more time on screens and less time engaging with others in person. Moreover, technology has changed the nature of social interactions. It can lead to shallow, online-only relationships, making it essential for individuals to strike a balance between virtual and real-world connections. In conclusion, while technology has the potential to enhance social interactions and connections, it also carries the risk of isolation when used excessively. It is crucial for individuals to use technology mindfully and prioritize in-person interactions to maintain healthy social relationships.10. 环境问题题目:Some people believe that individual actions, such as recycling and conserving energy, are not sufficient to address environmental problems. They argue that governments and large corporations must take the lead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?I believe that individual actions, such as recycling and conserving energy, are important but not sufficient on their own to address environmental problems. Governments and large corporations must also take a proactive role in environmental conservation.Individual actions, such as reducing waste and adopting sustainable practices, play a crucial role in raising environmental awareness and setting an example for others. However, the scale of environmental issues, such as climate change and habitat destruction, requires coordinated efforts at a larger scale.Governments have the power to implement policies and regulations that can significantly impact environmental conservation. They can establish emissions standards, invest in renewable energy sources, and protect natural habitats. Government actions can create a conducive environment for sustainable practices.Large corporations are major contributors to environmental issues, but they also have the resources and influence to make substantial changes. When corporationsadopt sustainable practices, reduce emissions, and prioritize eco-friendly products, they can have a significant positive impact on the environment. In conclusion, addressing environmental problems requires a multi-pronged approach. While individual actions are important, governments and large corporations must also take responsibility and lead the way in implementing sustainable practices and policies.。

However, some people think that students should be given an environment where they study independently. These two ways of learning have their respective advantages and disadvantages and serve different purposes. One prominent advantage of group study is that it enhances students' social skills and teamwork skills. In the team environment, members need to know how to cooperate with communicate with each other. This prepares students for the workplace, where teamwork is frequently required. We are also convinced that members can share their knowledge and experience so as to improve their learning outcomes. Moreover, students can detect their knowledge gap when answering questions raised by their classmates. This benefit is not achievable for those students who study independently.Despite these benefits, group study cannot gain support teachers who emphasize students' individual achievement. Group study may induce some students to rely excessively on their peers. It is important to bear in mind that in the real world, employers opt to employ extraordinary individuals, rather than recruiting a team. In addition, group study will demotivate those students who are driven by personal achievement. In some cases, if work is not distributed fairly and members' roles are ambiguous, the group fails to achieve itsobjectives and shakes members' confidence in teamwork. In the discussion of the pros and cons of group study, we can come to the conclusion that it should be integrated with independent study. While improving students' social skills and helping them to acquire knowledge, group work hinders the development of independent learning habits.。

下面是的关于教育的写作作文,希望能帮到大家!The effectiveness of a learning method varies from person to person and also from activity to activity. Learning by doing, learning by reading, and learning by listening all have the transfer of information as their goal, but the information is transferred in very different ways in each case. Each has its benefits. In my own opinion, learning by doing is the method that works best for me.Learning by doing works because it gives a learnerfirst-hand experience. Other methods are more passive;you’re either listening to a conversation or trying to pay attention to words on a page. However, learning by doing means actually participating in the activity. Can you imagine learning how to play a musical instrument from a book? As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. Frankly,I can’t think of a way that better ensures one has truly learned than by seeing and doing. In contrast, reading makes learning less easy to visualize. Not only that, learning by reading oftenrequires extra research, such as looking up unfamiliar words. Also, you might not be a good reader, or you mightbe learning in a second language. If so, you might find ithard to concentrate or bee frustrated by the slow pace. So while reading is fun and useful for many people, for others it may not be the best way.Learning by listening can be enjoyable. Lively debateis interesting, and interesting things are usually easier to learn about. Plus, unlike reading, you can ask questions if you don’t understand. However, as with reading, it is all too easy to bee a passive listener and not truly learn anything. If you get bored, you might even fall asleep while you’re listening! When you’re activel yparticipating in something, you’re more likely to stay alert.Overall, when it es to learning. I believe that nothing substitutes for the first band experience that physically doing an activity provides.People often say “ Those who don’t understan d history will repeat the mistakes of the past.” I totally disagree.I don’t see any evidence that people have made smart decisions based on their knowledge of the past. To me, the present is what is important, not the past. I think that people, the weather, and politics determine what happens, not the past.People can change. We can’t assume that people will continue to hate one another just because they have had hated one another for years. Look at Turkey and Greece. When Turkey had an earthquake, Greece sent aid. When Greece had an earthquake, Turkey sent aid. Now, these twocountries are cooperating and looking forward to improved relations. No doubt, if we looked at the past, we couldhave thought this was a lost cause. But people change. The weather can change. Farmers think that they canplant certain crops because these crops have always grown well in their fields before. But the weather can change. There can be a long drought. The crops that have always worked well , will die. A drought-resistant crop needs tobe tried. If we looked at the past, we would not have changed our crop and we would have lost our farm. Weather changes.Politics an change. Aording to my way of thinking, politicians must be responsive to changes in the people. If politicians looked only at the past, they would always say the same thing. People change. On the whole, people today care about human rights. They warn all people to have the equal rights. If we looked at the past in the United States, we would see a lot of discrimination against races, women, and sexual orientation. Now, that is changing. Politicians changes, too.As a rule what is important today is to follow the mood of the moment. We can’t be looked in the past. It doesn’t do us any good to think about the past. People, the weather, and politics can change in any direction. The direction of this change, in my opinion, can not be predicted by studying the past.。

5.所以 ,虽然教育是国家发展中重要的一环,但是却不能说是最重要的一环,一个国家能最终成功发展,必须在多个领域上都要抓紧。
When it comes to the development of a country, many people believe that societal source should give priority to education, which is the most essential ingredient for successful development. However, I can not agree with this statement. It's worthwhile and necessary to develop education, but to say that schools improvement is the most important factor to develop a country is out of point. Education can not guarantee the development of a country if the improvements of other equally important aspects are omitted.
First, a country will not be successfully developed if it neglects to create or can not offer enough job opportunities.
Suppose that when getting a good job is not much connected with
capability but social connections, which facilitates the way for the offspring of nouveau riche
and the politically connected, that's, degree does not mean so much commercially, fresh
graduates would be frustrated. This undoubtedly runs contrary to our expectation of improving schools if youngsters lack their confidence in upward mobility which education is supposed to
bring them. In addition, many students studying abroad don't come back after graduation for the reason that they can enjoy better social security there.
Admittedly, education plays a important role in the improvement of a modern country and gives
the nation a competitive edge in this age of globalization.
