中国古诗词是中国古典文学花园中 的一朵奇葩，承载着博大精深的中 华文化，以其独特的魅力强烈吸引 着国内外人士． 2012年全国两会期间，首席翻译官 张璐对温家宝总理在答记者问时引 用古诗词的巧妙翻译，引起了翻译 界的热议．
《黄鹤楼送孟浩然之广陵》
故人西辞黄鹤楼，烟花三月下扬州。 孤帆远影碧空尽，唯见长江天际流。
His lessening sail is lost in the boundless b lue sky;
Where I see but the endless River rolling by .
赏析： 总体构思上采用译气不译字的译作手法，灵活增减词语，变换句 式，使得译作画意浓厚。 第一句 "My old friend has left the west where the Yellow Crane towers"，既交代了友人东行，又道出了黄鹤楼美景，句式上颇 为押韵。 第二句创造性地运用对称整齐的句式，"green with willows"和 "red with flowers"译出了满目的春色。 在三、四句的表达方式上做了大胆调整，把“尽”字前移，使之 更符合英语的表达习惯，同时还添加了几个不影响深层意义且注 有韵脚的词语，如"his"，"where I see"，勾画除了诗人目送行 舟，江边怅惘的心情。 "His lessening sail is lost in the boundless blue sky"表现出 诗人看着小船渐渐消失在远方时心中的感伤之情。
记住一句话：Poetry is something that can't be translated. 寻寻觅觅，冷冷清清，凄凄惨惨戚戚。[李清 照《声声慢》] 许渊冲翻译： I look for what I miss; I know not what it is. I feel so sad, so drear, So lonely, without cheer. 林语堂翻译： So dim, so dark, So dense, so dull, So damp, so dank, so dead.

During the Press Conference in 2012,the proper interpretation of the Chinese ancient poetry quoted by Premier Wen given by the interpreter Zhang Lu has aroused great concern among the public.
