[关键词] 思维导图;类型;分析[中国图书分类号] H31913 [文献标识码] A [文章编号] 1008-9144(2005)01-0076-03 一、概述所谓思维导图又称为概念图(concept maps ),是指一套概念及其联系的两维表达方式(tw o -dimensional representa 2tions of a set of concepts and their relationships )(N ovak &G owin ,1984)。

So, the world became his school. With great interest, he read everything he could lay his hands on, listened to the town elders and learned about the world beyond his tiny hometown. "There's so much to learn," he'd say. "Though we're born stupid, only the stupid remain that way. " He was determined that none of his children would be denied(拒绝)an education. Thus, Papa insisted that we learn at least one new thing each day. Though, as children, we thought this was crazy, it would never have occurred to us to deny Papa a request. And dinner time seemed perfect for sharing what we had learned. We would talk about the news of the day; no matter how insignificant, it was never taken lightly. Papa would listen carefully and was ready with some comment, always to the point. Then came the moment - the time to share the day's new learning.Papa, at the head of the table, would push back his chair and pour a glass of red wine, ready to listen."Felice, " he'd say, "tell me what you learned today. ""I learned that the population of Nepal is.... "Silence.Papa was thinking about what was said, as if the salvation(拯救)of the world would depend upon it. "The population of Nepal. Hmm. Well .... " he’d say. "Get the map; let's see where Nepal is. " And the whole family went on a search for Nepal. This same experience was repeated until each family member had a turn. Dinner ended only after we had a clear understanding of at least half a dozen such facts. As children, we thought very little about these educational wonders. Our family, however, was growing together, sharing experiences and participating in one another's education. And by looking at us, listening to us, respecting our input, affirming(肯定) our value, giving us a sense of dignity, Papa was unquestionably our most influential teacher.Later during my training as a future teacher,I studied with some of the most famous educators. They were imparting(传授)what Papa had known all along - the value of continual learning. His technique has served me well all my life. It used to be called the “year off” between school and university. The gap-year phenomenon originated (起源) with the months left over to Oxbridge applicants between entrance exams in November and the star of the next academic year. This year, 25,310 students who have accepted places in higher education institutions have put off their entry until next year, according to statistics on university entrance provided by the University and College Admissions Service (UCAS).That is a record 14.7% increase in the number of students taking a gap year. Tony Higgins from UCAS said the statistics are good news for everyone in higher education. “Students who take a well-planned year out are more likely to be satisfied with, and complete, their chosen course. Students who take a gap year are often more mature and responsible,” he said. But not everyone is happy. Owain James, the president of the National Union of Students (NUS), argued that the increase is evidence of student hardship – young people are being forced into earning money before finishing their education. “New students are now aware that they are likely to leave university up to $15,000 in debt. It is not surprising that more and more students are taking a gap year to earn money to support their study for the degree. NUS statistics show that over 40% of students are forced to work during term time and the figure increases to 90% during vacation periods,” he said.9.
