The First Snow
The first snow came.
How beautiful it was, falling so silently all day long, all night long, on the mountains, on the meadows, on the roofs of the living, on the graves of the dead!
All white save the river, that marked its course by a winding black line across the landscape; and the leafless trees, that against the leaden sky now revealed more fully the wonderful beauty and intricacies of their branches.
What silence, too, came with the snow, and what seclusion! Every sound was muffled, every noise changed to something soft and musical.
No more tramping hoofs, no more rattling wheels!
Only the chiming of sleigh-bells, beating as swift and merrily as the hearts of children.

When mentioning books, I am easy to be deeply moved, for they bring me warmth and make me feel grateful to them.

Books are my kind teacher. I was deprived of the happiness of childhood by poverty and was shut out of the school gate. However, it was books that took me to their heart and showed me generosity. No helpful books, no successful me----Maybe I would have been buried into the tomb.

A Female Scientist Who buys her boots with the
reward
An unfamiliar face appeared in Face-to-face show of CCTV, which was decorated with a round face, orderly short hair and a pair of calm and sharp eyes penetrating from the thin glasses. She, Chen Hualan, was an outstanding female scientist, who made a great contribution to the Bird Flu research field.
Wangzhi, the host who was famous for his sharp words asked her in the program: “What about your opinion when people compared you to be Zhang Nanshan in the period of Bird Flu?”
The female scientist smiled meaningfully, “I am different from him for I am a vet, and I hav e been a vet before the period of Bird Fu.”
A frank personality! Wangzhi Couldn’t help smiling and so did audience.

This 37-year-old only female scientist was rewarded as the title of Youth Female Scientist in China, and got her reward of￥100,000 RMB. Wangzhi asked her the way to spend the money.
It was such a repeatedly-asked question that there would always be similar answer to it.
To people’s surprise, this scientist answered in a quick speed, “Never expect me to respond with grandiloqu ence because I want to buy a pair of boot with it.” She made a pause and continued, “I really think so because I like to wear boots.”
The camera lenses were turned to Wangzhi, as if the photographer was intentional to make audience notice the host’s reacti ons. With a bit surprised, Wangzhi’s sharp eyes became soft and he smiled with open-wide mouth, which meant approval to this lovely female scientist.
How much sincerity and frankness she needs to speak out the usage of reward to but a pair of boots? In the time filled with camouflage and complexity, the personality of sincerity and frankness are really best worth people’s approval.

Time
Don’t daydream that time w ould be equal. Time is unequal to people, who cherish it and belittle it. Time is also unequal to free people and prisoner. The worthiness of time lies in quality of life.
Time is unequal to the young and the old. A person’s feeling to time depends on the length of life. The length of time can be treated as the denominator, time as the
numerator. The older, the little the numerical value is for how time flies! The younger, the big the numerical value is. For there will be ample time.
How kind you consider the time is, it behaves so kindly. No matter in what way you waste your time, it will keep silent without anger.
How foxy you consider the time is, it becomes so foxy. It is the time that turns you older, wasting time with no attention. The person who will feel much regretful is finally you self.
How loyal you consider time is, it acts so loyally. It can help you fulfil your ambitions and your wills.
What your life is, then what your time is.
What time concept you possess, what kind of time you have.
Relativity theory established by Einstein proves the dispensability of time and space and the matter. There is no time which can exist alone without space, and nor is it meaningful. If people could travel at an over-time-speed, time would be back to the past.
If one day, human beings could conquer time and become the master of time, what would the world look like?
