Abstract: Diesel engine cylinder liner wear is the most common

failure modes, their

causes proper understanding of hazards and take active preventive measures

beneficial to improve efficiency in the use of the whole life of diesel

engines and mechanical equipment. To this end, the law discusses the formation of a diesel engine cylinder liner wear, analyzes the mechanism

and the harm produced diesel engine cylinder liner wear is proposed to reduce

the diesel engine cylinder liner wear should be noted in the use and warranty

several problems for diesel engines the normal use of reference.

Introduction

Cylinder liner is one of the important parts of the diesel engine, because the inner wall of the harsh working conditions, are prone to wear and tear, and in severe lower sealing between the cylinder wall and piston rings, making the diesel engine appears

difficult to start, power reduction, fuel and oil consumption increases, as well as

shorten the life of

the exhaust black smoke and so on.

1 cylinder liner wear and law

Due to the different working conditions piston cylinder located at different locations, cylinder liner wear is very uneven, the general

rule is to wear: 1) piston to the crank angle at the ending point, the contact area of the

first piston ring and cylinder liner wear of the inner wall of the large

amount of maximum radial wear up 0.2-0.3mm. Down here by the

2 wear mechanism and hazards arising

2.1.1 wear form
