1.【环保】Last Saturday, we went to Xishan by bus. It was March 12th, Tree Planting Day. We went to Xishan to plant trees. Our teacher divided us into three groups: the first group used spades to dig holes; the second group was in charge of bringing young trees and putting them into the holes. Then, the first group filled the holes. The last group carried the water for the young trees. At last, we totally planted five trees. We were all very delighted. Trees are helpful to our environment, because they can stop the wind . So we should plant more trees.Although we are so tired, we are happy! Because we are proud of ourselves!
2.【城市变化，环保】I was so happy to get your letter yesterday. I knew that you missing hometown so much. I will introduce the great changes in Tianjin nowadays. Ten years ago, there was only one subway. 6.【环保】I took part in the “Environment Protector” activities with my classmates today. In the morning, we met in the Xigu Park at nine o’clock. but I think I learn English for enjoying life. There are more and
more people coming from different countries, and the most familiar language to them is English. So, if I want to introduce myself and make friends with them, I need to learn English. English is also good for travelling. When I travel to overseas, it is English that most people can understand. English is all around us. We can't enjoy a happier life if we don't learn English. So, I will go on learning English hardly in the future.

As Mr. Green is ill, you can bring some fresh fruits. Or you can bring some interesting magazines for him as the life in hospital is boring. 15.How’s everything going? I’m now in Tianjin because my father found a new job here. I study in Tianjin No. 1 Middle School. My school is covered with many trees and which is clean and beautiful. I love my school very much. I often swim in the swimming pool of my school after school. I also go to the English corner to practice my
oral English every Friday afternoon. I can speak English with many other students there. It's very interesting and exciting. I think
it's helpful for me to learn English well. I get on well with my teachers and classmates. I like my lessons, my friends and my teachers. In a word, I love my school. I find my school life is more and more meaningful and colorful.

17.【照顾隔壁老人】An old man lives next door to me. He is too old to take care of himself. So I decide to help him as much as I can. I always wash clothes and sweep floor for him. Every three or four months, I clean the window for him. Sometimes, I also do some shopping, buy some daily use for him. When he feels boring, I read books for him. I also play chess with him. Sometimes I talks to him
about the past which makes him remember the things when he was young. Then, I have a talk to him when he feels sad. I’m really happy that I can help him so much, I’m glad to see that his life is getting better and better.
18. There are three people in my family. They are my father, my mother and I. My father is a businessman in a big company, he is always on business trips. I rarely see him. But he often brings gifts from all over the country. My mother is a normal stuff in a small company. She takes care of me every day. They are the closest people to me. All of the memories of my childhood, in one way or another, connected with them. I can still remember clearly the day when I had my first exam. I didn’t pass it. I felt so frustrate d that I even didn’t want to go to school again. My parents looked at my test paper and said, “My child, you’ve finished half of it. We are very glad you can do better next time. We never expect you to do the best at the first time. We hope you can make pr ogress gradually.” What they said made me feel I could do things well. From then on, I concentrated more on my studies.
