第1篇Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is a great pleasure to stand before you today to share my thoughts on a topic that I believe is of great importance to all of us: the power of education in shaping our future. As we stand at the crossroads of technological advancement and societal transformation, education has become more crucial than ever before. It is the key that unlocks the door to endless possibilities and opportunities. In this speech, I will explore the significance of education, its impact on personal and societal growth, and the challenges we face in ensuring that every individual has access to quality education.Firstly, education is the foundation of personal growth and development. It is through education that we acquire knowledge, skills, and values that shape our character and enable us to navigate the complexities of life. Whether we are learning to read, write, or solve mathematical problems, education equips us with the tools we need to succeed in various aspects of our lives.Imagine a world where education is accessible to all. Children fromrural villages would be able to dream of becoming doctors, engineers, or entrepreneurs, breaking the cycle of poverty and transforming their communities. Women would have the chance to pursue higher education, challenge gender stereotypes, and contribute to the workforce. The elderly would continue to learn and grow, enriching their lives and those around them.Education is not just about academic achievements; it is about fostering critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. These skills areessential in an increasingly competitive world, where the ability to adapt and solve problems is crucial. By encouraging students to think critically and creatively, we empower them to become leaders and change-makers in their respective fields. However, despite its immense benefits, education remains an unattainable dream for many. The disparities in access to quality education arealarming. In underdeveloped countries, millions of children are denied the opportunity to attend school due to poverty, conflicts, and discrimination. Even in developed nations, there are significant gaps in educational resources and opportunities, leading to social inequalityand hindered economic growth. To address these challenges, we must first recognize the importance of investing in education. Governments, NGOs, and private entities need to collaborate to ensure that every child has access to quality education. This involves providing adequate funding for schools, training qualified teachers, and building infrastructure that supports learning.Furthermore, we need to promote inclusive education policies that cater to the diverse needs of students. This includes addressing the needs of children with disabilities, ensuring that girls have equal access to education, and providing support for students from marginalized backgrounds.Innovation in education is also crucial. Technology has the potential to revolutionize the way we learn and teach. By integrating digital tools and resources into the classroom, we can make education more engagingand accessible. Online learning platforms, virtual reality, andartificial intelligence can open up new horizons for students, allowing them to explore subjects and concepts that were previously out of reach. Moreover, we must encourage lifelong learning. In today's rapidly changing world, the ability to continuously acquire new knowledge and skills is essential. By promoting a culture of learning, we can empower individuals to adapt to new challenges and contribute to the growth of their societies. In conclusion, education is a powerful force that can transform livesand shape our future. It is the key to unlocking the potential of every individual and creating a more equitable and prosperous world. However, to achieve this vision, we must address the challenges that hinder access to quality education and promote policies that foster inclusivity, innovation, and lifelong learning.Let us work together to ensure that education becomes a fundamentalright for all, empowering individuals to realize their dreams and contribute to the betterment of our world.Thank you.第2篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great pleasure to stand before you today to discuss a topic that is as relevant as it is challenging: embracing change. In this fast-paced world, change is the only constant, and it is how we navigate and adapt to it that defines our personal and professional growth. I will explore the importance of embracing change, the challenges it presents, and the strategies we can employ to thrivein a constantly evolving landscape.Firstly, let us acknowledge that change is inevitable. Whether it is technological advancements, shifts in the global economy, or even personal circumstances, change is an inescapable part of life. It is essential to understand that change is not something to be feared but rather something to be embraced.Embracing change has numerous benefits. It fosters innovation and creativity, as we are pushed to think outside the box and find new solutions to old problems. It also enhances our resilience and adaptability, as we learn to navigate uncertainty and unpredictability. Moreover, embracing change can lead to personal and professional growth, as we challenge ourselves to step out of our comfort zones and explore new opportunities. However, change is not without its challenges. The fear of the unknown, the anxiety of stepping into the unknown, and the potential for failure are just a few of the obstacles that come with change. It is natural to feel apprehensive, but it is crucial to recognize that these challenges are opportunities in disguise. To overcome these challenges, we must develop a mindset that is open to change. This involves cultivating a growth mindset, which is the belief that our abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication and hard work. A growth mindset allows us to view setbacks as learning experiences rather than insurmountable obstacles.Furthermore, we need to develop strong communication skills. Change often requires collaboration, and effective communication is the cornerstone of successful teamwork. By being open, transparent, and empathetic, we can build trust and foster a supportive environment that encourages change.Another strategy to embrace change is to be proactive rather than reactive. Instead of waiting for change to happen, we should actively seek out opportunities to adapt and evolve. This may involve continuous learning, seeking feedback, and staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.Let me share a personal anecdote to illustrate the power of embracing change. A few years ago, I was working in a stable job that provided security but little room for growth. One day, I received an offer tojoin a startup. The idea of working in a startup was daunting, with its uncertain future and long hours. However, I realized that this was an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. I took the leap, and it was one of the best decisions of my life. The challenges were immense, but the rewards were even greater. In conclusion, embracing change is crucial for personal and professional growth. It is a journey that requires a mindset shift, effective communication, and proactive behavior. By overcoming the challenges and embracing the opportunities that change brings, we can create a life and career that is rich with experiences, learning, and success.Ladies and Gentlemen, as we move forward in this ever-changing world, let us remember that change is not something to be feared but something to be welcomed. With the right mindset and strategies, we can navigate the complexities of change and thrive in the face of uncertainty. Thankyou for your attention, and I hope you find inspiration in these words to embrace change and transform your life.Thank you.第3篇Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today to deliver a speech on a topic that is close to all of our hearts: the importance of sustainable development in our rapidly changing world. As we all know, the world is facing numerous challenges that threaten our future. Climate change, pollution, and the depletion of natural resources are just a few of the issues that require our immediate attention. In this speech, I will argue that sustainable development is not only essential for our survival but also for the prosperity andwell-being of future generations.Firstly, let us consider the environmental impact of our current lifestyle. The relentless pursuit of economic growth has led to the excessive exploitation of natural resources, resulting in the degradation of our planet's ecosystems. Deforestation, for example, has led to the loss of biodiversity, disrupted weather patterns, and increased carbon emissions. By adopting sustainable practices, we can minimize our ecological footprint and preserve the delicate balance of nature for generations to come.Secondly, sustainable development is crucial for economic stability. Many of the world's most vulnerable populations rely on natural resources for their livelihoods. The sustainable management of these resources can ensure that they remain available for future generations, thereby providing a stable foundation for economic growth. Additionally, sustainable development can create new job opportunities in sectors such as renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and eco-tourism, thereby fostering economic diversification and reducing poverty. Moreover, sustainable development is inextricably linked to social equity. As the global population continues to grow, the demand for resources and services is increasing at an unprecedented rate.Sustainable development aims to address this imbalance by promoting equitable access to resources and opportunities. By investing in education, healthcare, and infrastructure, we can create a moreinclusive society where everyone has the chance to thrive. To achieve sustainable development, we must all play a role. Governments, businesses, and individuals must work together to adopt policies and practices that prioritize environmental protection, economic stability, and social equity. Here are a few key steps that can be taken:1. Implementing stricter regulations on pollution and resource exploitation. Governments should enforce laws that protect the environment and ensure the sustainable use of natural resources.2. Investing in renewable energy and clean technologies. Transitioningto a low-carbon economy will not only mitigate climate change but also create new industries and jobs.3. Promoting sustainable agriculture and land management practices. By adopting eco-friendly farming methods, we can improve food security and reduce the pressure on natural ecosystems.4. Encouraging education and awareness. We must educate future generations about the importance of sustainable development and empower them to make informed decisions.5. Fostering international cooperation. Addressing global challengessuch as climate change and biodiversity loss requires collective action and collaboration among nations. In conclusion, sustainable development is a necessity, not a luxury. It is the only way we can ensure a prosperous and equitable future for all. As we move forward, let us remember that the well-being of our planetand its inhabitants are inextricably linked. By working together, we can overcome the challenges that lie ahead and create a sustainable worldfor ourselves and future generations.Thank you for your attention. I welcome any questions or comments you may have.[End of speech]。

3分钟经典英语演讲稿(精选20篇)3分钟经典英语篇1Imagine a car without a steering wheel. Tough to imagine, right? Well, actually that’s the image you see if a person has no faith. Faith helps to guide us in our lives, encourage us to persist, and give directions when we are lost.In this peaceful era, our life paths seem to be already well-planned and determined. What we have to do is to follow. Yes, we may face different sorts of challenges, but at least they are less harsh when compared to those in the past. We do not need to worry about starving to death, or how to earn enough money to buy food for our siblings and sustain our lives. It is like driving from a muddy road into a highway. In the muddy road, path, you would say, as it is formed only by crossing on it many times, flattening the ground to form a smoother area so we can pass. The road is so bumpy and rough, with holes here and there and rocks lying all over. When we drive along this road, we have to be very careful, having a firm grip on the steering wheel, ready for a sudden turn or a large boulder that may appear any second. However, when we drive on a highway, everything becomes different. The road is smooth, straight, and visible. Since there is no unseen obstacle, we may lower our guard, relax a bit, and loosen our grip on the steering wheel. One may even think, if we only have to drive on a smooth straight road like this highway, why would we need a steering wheel?Nevertheless, one cannot foresee the future. Accidents do happen. For example, a car may suddenly appear in front of you. At such times, if you did not have the steering wheel, how could you make a sudden turn? Just as no one could foresee theSichuan Earthquake nor the Japan Tsunami. If the one being trapped under the debris did not have faith, he/she would not have survived until being rescued. If we did not have faith, we could not recover from our sadness and rebuild our home.Faith is unique, just as happiness is. We feel happy for different reasons, we believe for different things. How can we know what we believe in? Recall the last time you are discouraged, and you felt you had lost all hopes in your life. What pulled you back into the world? What pushed you to stand up and continue to strive again? That is your faith, your belief. Faith is what makes you feel you can when others say you can’t.Faith is important…, faith is vital…, faith is necessary for us to live our lives. If we do not have faith, we are like a car without a steeling wheel. We can only afford to move along a straight and smooth path, and cannot meet any challenge in our lives. One must understand that no matter how smooth the road is, it is impossible for a car to go without a steering wheel. Or, put it in another way, have you ever seen a car without a steering wheel on the road? So, act now, my friends, find out what you believe in, find out your anchor in your life, hold on to your steeling wheel of your car, drive on, and reach your destination. Thank you very much.3分钟经典英语演讲稿篇2Sports are more than competitions. To me, they mean growth under the care of others. I learned this the hard way.I used to be very shy and often felt lonely. Although I did well in all the academic subjects, I was afraid of physical education. My classmates often laughed at me.“Look at that girl,” they said. “Her feet don’t leave the ground when she runs!”Their words embarrassed me. Moreover, whenever the teacher organized some competitive games, no one in the class liked to have me as their partner or team member. As a result, I often ended up looking at others enjoy their games.Things would go on like that if not for a sports meet in my high school. By mistake, my name was put on the list of those who would compete in the women’s 1500 meters race. By the time people found the mistake, it was too late to change. My desk-mate was a natural athlete. She said to me, “I couldn’t run that race in your place, because I’ve signed up for three items already.” Other athletic girls of the class said the same.I was utterly dumbfounded. 1500 meters! Running against the best runners from other classes! And in front of students of the entire school! It would be the worst nightmare I’d ever have!“You still have time to catch up because there is still one month before the sports meet,” they all said this to me, including my teacher. My desk-mate patted me on the shoulder, “Cool! You will run for our class! And we will do training together.” Yes, this is not just for myself, but for my class too, I said to myself. But still, 1500 meters to me was like Mount Everest to a beginning climber.I had no idea even how to start my preparation.Fortunately, my desk-mate gave me a hand. Every afternoon after class, several of us ran together. When the fear of being laughed at struck me, I saw others running right beside me. They gave me strengths. While we were running, some others would stand by the tracks cheering for us.One month certainly couldn’t make me a good runner. But when I was standing behind the start line, I no longer felt lonelyor afraid. I saw my classmates standing by the tracks waving at me as if about to run beside me.With the shot of the starting gun, I dashed out and ran as fast as I could, as if it were a 200-meter race. Soon I was out of breath and slowed down. Other runners passed me one by one, and gradually I had no idea how many of them were still behind me. My legs were getting heavier and heavier, and I might fall down at any moment. However, I suddenly heard my classmates chanting my name. My desk-mate even ran along the tracks beside me and cheered for me at the same time, just like the month-long training we did together. As expected, I was almost the last to cross the finish line. Immediately, my classmates held my arms and urged me to walk on my feet and not to sit down. I was surrounded, with all kinds of drinks handed to me. I felt a kind of warmth I had never felt before. Even though I was almost the last to finish the race, I was full of confidence that I would improve in the future. That sports meet was an unforgettable experience. The memory of my classmates cheering for me, holding my arms and handing me drinks stays fresh on my mind. Sports are no longer about winning or losing. They give me a lot of confidence, both confidence in my fellow students and confidence in my own potential. I am no longer lonely, no longer afraid. Sports have brought me close to my classmates and helped us grow together. Now, I participate in the sports meet every year. Even if I am not competing, I would help my classmates with their practice, just like the way my desk-mate and others ran with me.3分钟经典英语演讲稿篇3Good morning/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. My topic is: faith does make a difference to our life. The recent earthquake in Japan has triggered a series of unexpected crises and even faith crisis among us. Are the increasing natural disasters echoing the 20xx prediction by Maya? Is our future really so vulnerable and tentative? I am trying to probe the answer.Last November, as a volunteer of the Global Sustainable Leaders Forum, I first came across the concept of social entrepreneurship. In the inspiring speeches, I saw the determination and faith of converting ideal into practice. I couldn’t help asking myself: what should I live fo r?The great thinker Russell once put in his essay: Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.By launching donation campaigns and bearing social responsibility, Bill Gates reshaped the stereotyped faith of businessmen. Then, how can I make a difference? A talk with my father gave me some inspiration. My father is a superfan of traditional Chinese calligraphy. When I was a kid, I had the faintest idea why I should practise routinely this form of art. It was terribly boring. But Dad said seriously: As a Chinese, we need to pass down and promote our rich culture. It is our responsibility.Yang Lan, a well-known TV host once said: As a media worker, I want to track down the passage of time and history by conducting interviews. For me, the responsibility outweighs the occupation itself.Far back to Confucius, who was once obscure and humble, undertook the seemingly hopeless task of building a harmonioussociety. But with his strong faith, hemade a change by spreading the seeds of wisdom. The story about three craftsmen further illustrates the power of faith. When asked about their work, one said: I'm piling up the bricks. Another replied: I'm building the wall. The third responded: I'm designing a home for people. These three replies mirrored distinct insights toward work: Task, job, and undertaking. In my university, students majoring in National Defence choose to devote their golden years to safeguarding our mother land. They have interpreted faith with their own dynamic youth. My friends, musicians can not simply provide us with lyrical notes, but create melody to sooth our soul; Scientists can not merely invent machines, but utilize their wisdom to reshape our lifestyle; teachers can not just impart knowledge, but usher us to become a worthy person! So, my dear friends, life without faith is just like music without melody, and world without color. We are who we choose to be. It is faith t hat’ll remove our fear about future and stretch the radius of our life. Let faith light up all our young dreams.Thank you!3分钟经典英语演讲稿篇4I have a question for you. ‘Do you know how to breathe?’ Okay, I know what you are thinking now, “Girl, are you kiddin g me? Everybody knows how to breathe.” Actually, if I were you sitting down in there one year ago, I would think, “How did she make it to the final?”Alright, seriously speaking, what I am talking about is “the art of breathing”, and it’s about breathing i n a Yoga way: peacefully and always under control. What it reveals is the real essence of perseverance, “In order to achieve, sometimes, youneed to wait.” And when it comes to things you really want in life, it is as hard as it could possibly be.For me, singing is a life thing. When I am singing on the stage, I feel whole-heartedly involved, and the self-fulfillment it renders is inexplicably thrilling. But with all the realistic problems I need to face in life, all those I want seem too far to be true– so far that I am terrified that I will never ever be able to get there and that gradually I will be carried away by the currents and torrents of life. I’ve been drowned into this ambivalence for so long. Now, with a refined perspective towards self-realization, I am waiting, in a graceful posture, and knowing that I am going to get there. And on this, I should say, I owe Yoga a thank-you.I still remember, about one year ago, I attended a Yoga course for the very first time. And to tell you the truth, I went there for a nice figure. However, after practicing for some time, I discovered that there was an ineffable inner-strength burgeoning sneakily in me while I totally focused. In order not to let go this significant power, I started to picture all I wanted in my mind while I was fully concentrating, for I believe the wings of imagination could make things possible. I learned to breathe with my dreams, shaping the eagerness into this elegant gesture of persisting. And now, if you ask me what exactly is “the ar t of breathing”, I would say it is indeed “the art of living”. It combines the search of balance, the grace of patience, and the awareness of appreciation. So even though feelings are tied up with life routines, I could still hold onto that free EGO which I have always adored: the girl who is singing under the spotlight, with all her heart and soul; the girl who is persevering with all she believes in and alwaysfeels grateful for what has been bestowed on her. That girl is now standing right here in front of you, hoping that you are all as lucky as she is, living with dreams and love. No matter how tough things get, I tell myself, I tell myself that, every single thing I am doing now is every step closer to that very moment of my trajectory, just like every Yoga breath to every blossom moment of my life.3分钟经典英语演讲稿篇5How well are we in tune with the rhythm of life? In our busy day to day existence, we don’t often stop to ask ourselves this question. At least I don’t. And it wasn’t until I joined a competitive sporting event that I learned a most important lesson –we must place our mind in harmony with the natural order of things to be successful.Let me tell you what happened.I decided to take part in an International Marathon in my hometown last year. Being an ambitious person, I hoped to finish it within 5 hours, accompanied by my friend with whom I had trained. The big day finally arrived. "Ready...set...bang" And we were off.At first, we kept a rapid pace and ran nonstop. At this pace, we finished the first 20 kilometers in 2 hours and I thought running a marathon was a piece of cake. Then my running mate began to slow down. I urged him to keep running at the same pace but he said no, he wanted to conserve his energy. I felt I had partnered with the wrong person, therefore, I sprinted on and left him behind in the dust.A few kilometers later, I began to understand his strategy as my pace slowed to a jog then a walk. After that I was incapableof moving another step. I was humiliated as more and more people ran passed me. More than once I thought "Maybe I should quit." I started to doubt my ability to finish this race.At this moment, my running mate caught up with me and slapped me on the back. “Follow me,” he shouted. He had balanced his marathon pace and was encouraged me to do the same. For the rest of this grueling contest, we walked, jogged, ran a few miles, and walked again. Slowly, painfully but hopefully this time, we established the most suitable pace within the natural flow of our physical capabilities.Eventually we accomplished our first Marathon of 42 kilometers in 4 and half hours. I asked myself, what did this marathon mean to me? My Marathon experience became an influential metaphor for my life about how we must learn to pace ourselves in everything, by being in tune with the rhythm of life.Like the tide that ebbs and flows, we must listen to advice but make our own decisions. Like the show at dawn and dusk, we must learn to balance pride and modesty. And from the way the wind can both shout and whisper, we must learn when to be strong and when to be gentle, for everything moves in its own rhythm and its own yin and yang elements. It is the interaction of these complementary extremes that produces harmony, as Laozi said, extremes meet. Since the marathon, this notion of two opposite forces working together has been my running partner, so to speak. Yin and yang exist everywhere, constantly interacting, and never existing in an absolute condition.Ladies and Gentlemen, life is like running a marathon, let us discover, define and develop a natural rhythm of life, in order to achieve both harmony and success.Thank you for listening.3分钟经典英语演讲稿篇6Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen!I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not th e cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20xx Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaningto you?”3分钟经典英语演讲稿篇7Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, today i am so happy to stand here to give you a speech.Or rather, a real story of mine.Though with time going by,i can still remember what you once told me.You should be a brave girl.Smiling, you looked into my eyes.Year in,year out, nearly most of my memories are fading little by little. But only this simple sentence remained, without being forgotten in my life.Again and again,i can not stop myself from thinking about it.So ordinary, but so impressive,so moving, just like the brightest sunshine,it helps me go through the darkest night.I am such a sensitive girl in your heart. You said,my sorroful facial expression made feel so distersssed. However, there is one thing i never tell you, that is ,i am becoming a big girl gradually with your words and smiles.I never tell you about it,for i believe oneday, you can see the great changes of mine for yourself. That is what i want to do in return. As i know, that will be the best gift for you.I suddenly think of a song named MY HEART WILL GO ON.There is a beautiful sentence going like this. You are safe in my heart.More than once,i was moved to tears by it.I know ,i am also safe in your heart.i have already forgotten when i told you i was going to leave for Australia this summer holiday. You just smiled as usual, gently speaking.Whatever you decide to do,i will be in favor of it,but, just onething, remember, when you fell lonely abroad,do not forget we are here ,praying for you.We are all around you,far across the distance and space between us.i closed my eyes, the flashback started. The memories we had together, once we played games on the palyground,we played jokes on each other, you always wrote a lot of sentences on myarticles to encourage me.And the most unforgetable thing, you told me,you believed m i could be a big girl.Sooner or later. At that specific moment,i suddenly understood the meaning of this sentence totally. So on that day,i smiled as you used to,looking at you.The last words i said were, keep walking in sunshine.Yes,keep walking in sunshine.I said to you ,also to myself.I know i am not alone wiht your company, and we can keep walking in sunshine till the last minute of our days.I promise,i will be a big girl.I promise,i will be a brave girl.I promise,i will keep walking in sunshine. That is my speech, thank you!3分钟经典英语演讲稿篇8A Young Idler,An Old BeggarAlmost everyone knows the famous Chinese saying:A young idler,an old beggar. Throughout history,we have seen many cases in which this saying has again and again proved to be true.It goes without saying that the youth is the best time of life, during which one's mental and physical states are at their peaks. It takes relatively less time and pains to learn or accept new things in a world full of changes and rapid developments. In addition, one is less likely to be under great pressure from career, family and health problems when young. Therefore,a fresh mind plus enormous energy will ensure success in different aspects of life.Of course,we all know:no pains,no gains. If we don't make every effort to make good use of the advantages youth brings us,it is impossible to achieve any goals. As students, weshould now try our best to learn all the subjects well so that we can be well prepared for the challenges that we will face in the future.3分钟经典英语演讲稿篇9Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen!I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 20xx Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others. At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.女士们,先生们,下午好!我很荣幸站在这里给你一个简短的讲话!我的主题是机遇和挑战。

3分钟英语演讲稿优秀范文(精选16篇)3分钟英语优秀范文篇1I"ll tell you an experience of myself happened last week. last thursday our school was tackling something about woking fou study. i wanted to have a try even though i knew the salary was so low and i had little chance, because the students who had the certificate were always thought to have priority to get the job. fortunately i was called at noon and a teacher said to me that she wanted me to work for her and asked if i could change my mind.At that moment i was so excited that immediately i accepted her idea. but later on,she found me that i"m not a student,so i had little chance and suggest me to get one. then an idea occurred to me that i could call my father and ask him to send me the letter. at the same time i was told that i was admitted to the job and don"t need the certificate. that time i forgot to remind my father, until the next day he called me that he had posted it and it would arrive in just one day.At that moment i was moved, and even moved into tears, because i knew my father was injured not long before, the process of helping me with the affairs was not so convenient for him. but he tried his best to help me. sometimes we may complain about unsatisfying things around us,and blame them on our parents, sometimes they"ll be angry with us, and sometimes we can"t quite understand what they are thinking about. but on balance, almost every parent is selfless to his or her child. They are ready to offer everything to us when we are in bad situation. we used to sharing sorrow with them, but do not forget to share our happiness with them, perhaps they will be much happier than we are. so from now on, let"s care more about ourparents and do not leave pity to them. that"s what i want to tell you today. thank you!3分钟英语演讲稿优秀范文篇2with the development of science and technology, change has penetrated into every aspect of our daily life. to illustrate that, i'd like to make a comparison of these two seemingly insignificant things: milkman and mailman, whose differences indicate our changing way of living with the times.home milk delivery has almost gone extinct in china now, also gone with it are the milkmen, who once delivered bottled fresh milk door-to-door. on the other hand, mailman's business or the courier service has thrived as online shopping gains popularity. however, in retrospect, i find something has been lost in this transition, something shakespeare called as “the milk of human kindness”。

外语教学的不断改进,各类英语演讲活动愈来愈频繁,为此,⽆忧考⼩编整理了3分钟左右的英语演讲稿,供⼤家学习和参考! 三分钟经典英语演讲稿篇⼀ Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, today i am so happy to stand here to give you a speech.Or rather, a real story of mine. Though with time going by,i can still remember what you once told me.You should be a brave girl.Smiling, you looked into my eyes.Year in,year out, nearly most of my memories are fading little by little. But only this simple sentence remained, without being forgotten in my life. Again and again,i can not stop myself from thinking about it.So ordinary, but so impressive,so moving, just like the brightest sunshine,it helps me go through the darkest night.I am such a sensitive girl in your heart. As i know, that will be the best gift for you. I suddenly think of a song named MY HEART WILL GO ON.There is a beautiful sentence going like this. The memories we had together, once we played games on the palyground,we played jokes on each other, you always wrote a lot of sentences on my articles to encourage me.And the most unforgetable thing, you told me,you believed m i could be a big girl.Sooner or later. At that specific moment,i suddenly understood the meaning of this sentence totally. So on that day,i smiled as you used to,looking at you.The last words i said were, keep walking in sunshine. Yes,keep walking in sunshine.I said to you ,also to myself.I know i am not alone wiht your company, and we can keep walking in sunshine till the last minute of our days. I promise,i will be a big girl. I promise,i will be a brave girl. I promise,i will keep walking in sunshine. That is my speech, thank you! 三分钟经典英语演讲稿篇⼆ Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen! I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges. First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.” Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 2008 Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction. Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights? I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?” For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 2008 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.

Dear parentsgood afternoon.First of all, on behalf of all the teachers and students of class 3, let me extend a warm welcome to you and thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to participate in this parents’ open day, which makes us feel your understanding and support for our work and your concern for the growth of children. It is with your trust, understanding and support that our work can be carried out smoothly. Here, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all of you with warm applause!Time flies. In a twinkling of an eye, your child has spent day after day in the kindergarten. In a moment, your child has traveled back and forth between kindergarten and home countless times.Thank you for sending your children to our class, so that we can meet and know each other in this vast world and among all living beings. This is fate! It is children who bringus this fate.We also want to return silent and selfless love to our children. Our job is to educate children and change every child in the class.Looking back on the work of the previous semesters, there are both the joy of success and the loss of fragments: happy memories and sad scenes. No one is perfect. Our work is inevitably negligent, with all kinds of deficiencies and deficiencies.Just as there can be no clouds in the sky, there are also colorful clouds and dark clouds in our work.It is hoped that parents, like the sun, will illuminate the teachers and children in our class, help, understand and support our work, help us disperse the dark clouds, see the blue sky, white clouds and birds...In fact, we have also received the tolerant support of all parents; Open-minded help and meticulous care. This semester is the last semester for children to go to kindergarten.Children will go to primary school soon next semester. Most parents are worried that their children can’t keep up with school. They especially want to feed their children some knowledge in advance duringthe period before school, so as to prevent their children from losing at the starting line.Unlike their parents, primary school teachers find that what is missing between kindergarten and primary school is not knowledge, It is the cultivation of habits and the ability to adapt to environmental changes, which is also the direction of our teachers and parents’ joint efforts.thank you.2.3分钟英语演讲稿hello everyone! My XXXX name is XXXX, with light eyebrows, small eyes, big ears, a small hair, like a small hedgehog. As soon as I laughed, my eyes narrowed into a slit, which was as lovely as a crescent moon!I’m not tall or short, fat or thin, with a standard body shape. When I walk, I’m windy and unrestrained! My nature is bold and unrestrained, and I don’t haggle over trivial matters.I remember once, someone accidentally knocked me down and broke my head.Although it hurt, I was not angry. As the saying goes, “the primeminister can prop a boat in his belly.” I became the prime minister and forgave him.I listened carefully in class, answered questions actively, and took the initiative to help my classmates after class.Others said I was a good student who was willing to help others. My heart was as sweet as honey after listening to it.I have a wide range of hobbies, such as playing football, basketball, learning English and so on.I am good at singing and dancing, and proficient in piano, chess, calligraphy and painting.I like calligraphy best.Every afternoon, I insist on practicing calligraphy.Every time I practice calligraphy, I concentrate on it and reach the selfless level.I don’t even feel itchy when mosquitoes bite me.Every time when I go downstairs, many parents praise me that “XXXX is a good child who studies well, has excellent calligraphy and is sensible”.After listening to these words, my heart was happy, and my parents’ faces were also full of bright smiles. This is me, fresh me, fresh me, energetic me!thank you.3.3分钟英语演讲稿hello everyone! There is a worker whose factory efficiency is getting worse and worse, and he is about to enter the track of “death”.Most of the workers in the factory are watching and waiting, hoping for the worst to come. After careful consideration, he decided to resign. He wants to fight once.He doesn’t give himself a way back.He wants to see how much survivability he has.He used the one-time seniority allowance to open a small business. He was not afraid of hard work and did work that others did not want to do; He is honest, does what he says, and never deceives customers. His shop is remembered by many ordinary people.Sometimes people would rather walk a few more steps than go to his shop to buy things. His business was getting better and better, and he opened a branch in high spirits. He also opened a branch with his reputation.A few years later, he became a model for laid-off workers. The factory where he used to work closed down. Those wait-and-see workers also fell into the miserable fate of the factory closure, because at thistime, the factory could not even take out any money.People, including other animals, release huge self-saving energy at the moment of life crisis.Almost everyone knows the “frog experiment” done by American scientists: slowly heat it with a warm fire at the bottom of the pot, and the frog drifts leisurely in the water. When the water is too hot to bear, the frog can no longer jump out; On the contrary, throw a frog into the boiling water, but it can jump up quickly and escape. If you don’t leave a way out, you’ll give yourself a way out.As long as you have the spirit of leaving no way back, you will wholeheartedly face what is happening in front of you, and you will have unexpected gains.People often consume themselves in slow waiting. In the meaningless waiting, in the slow adaptation, what dissipates is talent, ability and confidence, and finally only helplessness and melancholy.Like a frog in the slowly heated water, he buried himself unconsciously. The frog that was thrown into the boiling water just jumped gently and gave itself a way to live.thank you.4.3分钟英语演讲稿Dear leaders and colleagueshello everyone!I think there are no bad jobs, only people who don’t work hard.In the same work, the quality of each person’s completion does not depend on the difficulty of the work, but on whether he has intention. No matter how difficult the work is, as long as you work hard and do it with your heart, you will achieve something. As long as you pursue, you have a goal, and you have the hope of success. How to be attentive and how to “work attentively”?1. Responsibility is the cornerstoneA person’s sense of responsibility determines his attitude in work and determines the quality and success of his work.Only when we regard the post as a responsibility and work as a career can we seriously think and work hard; Will complete the task on time, with high quality and quantity, and successfully solve the problem.2. Enterprising is the guaranteeNever do “almost” in daily work, set a high standard in work standards, strive for first-class things, take the initiative to learn all aspects of knowledge, strengthen and improve their own quality, self pressurize, and always require their own excellent work performance.Set high standards and set high goals at all times, everything and everywhere.Make the best preparations for writing, organizing activities, and preparing for meetings.Try your best to keep enterprising, full of passion, devote yourself to work, always think about how to improve, be a good adviser and assistant of leaders, and let leaders rest assured and satisfied.3. Carefulness is the keyDetails determine success or failure.Establish the concept that there is no trivial matter in the work, be meticulous, rigorous and meticulous, deliberate every document drafted word by word, sentence by paragraph, and take every punctuation seriously; Think and improve every activity and meeting you participatein, and strive to make every work perfect without defects. If you work hard, you will benefit from yourself; The victims of perfunctory work must also be themselves.Only by working hard can we continuously expand the space for personal growth and progress and constantly reflect our own values.Thank you!5.3分钟英语演讲稿hello everyone! The dream of birds is to fly to the blue sky, the dream of fish is to swim in the sea, the dream of flowers is to bloom in spring, and the dream of grass is to break the ground. What is my dream? When I was a child, I had many dreams. My dream is to be a teacher and cultivate more talents for the country. My dream is to become an entrepreneur, so that my family can live a happy life.My dream is to become a calligrapher and a celebrity who can be loved by the world...My childhood dreams are countless, because Iwant to be happy, to do what I think is right, to do what others can’t do, because I thought “I can do it”since I was young, and I think I can do everything well.Until I grew up, I became an excellent junior high school student, but at the same time I found that I changed.I’m no longer the ignorant child before, and I always think I’m the best; I am no longer as naive as I used to think.I think I can do everything well and do better than others.I changed my dream, because I know that I am not better than others, and even many people are better than me.My dream is to be a soldier.Yes, I want to be a soldier to defend my country. From this moment on, I have my own dream.I still have a long time to prepare for, overcome and realize, because we are still in the spring of life. For this dream, I will try, try, try again. No, only better, I will surpass myself and realize my dream.Let’s work together for qingxxx!thank you.6.3分钟英语演讲稿hello everyone!Integrity is gold! Mom often says to me!: “No matter what a person does, he should do what he says, and be honest in everything he does.” after reading my extracurricular books, my mother promised me to buy two more.I’m very happy to hear that! Because I know that my mother said so and did so.As long as my mother promised me, I will do it.Today is no exception.I’ve been thinking about buying books in my heart, so I’ve been following my mother. My mother seems to see my mind and say, “mom knows your careful thinking! Don’t worry, I’ll take you after work, and you can choose by yourself”.I happily kissed my mother on the face and said, “thank you, mom, I’m waiting for you.”The bookshelf of the bookstore displays all kinds of books, including Chinese, foreign, fairy tale books, story books, and technical books, etc...too many, I want to hold all the books in my arms! But I can only choose two! Choose! Choose! I think every book is very good! Which one should I choose? Now I know how difficult it is to make a choice! Finally, a “Gulliver’s travels” deeply attracted me, just it! In order to write a good composition in the future, I chose a“winning composition for primary school students”.With these two books, I’m happier than my baby.My mother came home from work, read it, and said, “yes, I’ve chosen a very good book, but I must read it well, and write good reading notes and feelings after reading it.” I promised, because my mother can do what she said, and I must do what I said.Read carefully, take notes carefully, and write your feelings after reading! Now be a pupil with integrity, and grow up to be an adult with integrity.A person with integrity will be trusted by others, and then he will walk wider and wider on the road of life!thank you.7.3分钟英语演讲稿Dear leaders, colleagues and judgeshello everyone! First of all, I want to thank you for your trust and support, which provided such a platform for me to make this speech. As an employee working in the front desk, I deeply understand that service is everything, and service is the life of the enterprise.I also deeply know that only by paying attention can we do a good job in service. The business front desk is the window of bank service, and it is also our most direct display of the image of rural commercial banks. But work is like a glass of water, there are always ripples, so we should do our best to serve.Any mistake will bring unnecessary trouble to customers and the work of all links. In the process of “attentive” service, if you are enthusiastic, patient, but not careful enough, it is likely to backfire and do wrong with good intentions; If you are careful, but not enthusiastic, and impatient, even if you can solve the problem, how can a cold face be affirmed by users? If enthusiasm and patience are candlelight to light up a smile, then carefulness is the candlestick to support silently. With the continuous development of the financial industry, the competition among commercial banks is becoming more and more fierce. The service quality andservice level of banks have gradually become the focus of competition among commercial banks, so service has become the lifeline of banks. What our enterprise needs is the market, and what customers need is service, but the bridge connecting customers and enterprises is integrity. In order to improve the quality of service, we are strict with ourselves and go to work on time every day.In the process of service, we insist on using civilized language and receive every customer actively, actively and warmly.Thank you!8.3分钟英语演讲稿Dear teachers and studentshello everyone! Two hungry people were lucky to get a gift from an elder: a fishing rod and a basket of fresh fish. One of them asked for fish and starved to death after eating it; The other asked for a fishing rod and went to the sea, but it was a long way.He walked to the beach for several days and was hungry before he could go fishing.Fish can satisfy hunger temporarily, but it can’t solve the long-term livelihood problem; Fishing rods can be used to solve the livelihood problems in the future, but they can’t do anything about the current hunger. From this point of view, only by combining the two can we completely solve the immediate and long-term livelihood problems.Only when two people cooperate, enjoy this basket of fresh fish together, and go to the sea together, can they be saved at the same time. But unfortunately, they refused to cooperate, and finally ended up with a tragic ending of both lives. This story vividly confirms a famous saying: a single person may die, and two people together may be saved.Of course, it means that two people work together to create a miracle of life, but if you knock your Gong like the above two people, and I sing my play, it will only end in a double defeat. In today’s world, with the rapid development of science and technology, the social division of laboris becoming more and more detailed, but people’s intelligence and knowledge are always limited, which requires people to have a strong sense of cooperation and cooperative habits. As middle school students in the new century, they should be good at cooperation.Cooperate with teachers and listen to their teachings, and you will grow rapidly; Cooperate with your classmates and explore in the ocean of knowledge, and you will gain infinite wisdom; Cooperate with your parents and be good at listening to their nagging, and you will feel boundless happiness. My speech is over, thank you!9.3分钟英语演讲稿hello everyone! To be fair, no one wants his life to be constantly honed.Even if it can increase the beauty of youth, no one will cheer and say, “I like suffering.” People always want to be flat and safe, but the reality is often unsatisfactory.Youth is beautiful because of exercise. When challenges come, it’s useless to be nervous. This is what you have to do, which is to go all out with full courage to meet challenges and bravely accept new challenges.Untrained youth, youth that does not know how to cherish, will not shine, how can we succeed without training!Youth is a sketch without coloring. We need to decorate it with the color of our hearts. If you can meet the training with a smile, when you look back on the past after the training, your youth will become more wonderful, because I understand that everything will pass, and a beautiful rainbow will appear.Who says that birds don’t sing anymore, that flowers don’t fragrance, and that youth can’t be brilliant.Training may be the most beautiful arc and the most brilliant memory in youth!A flower withered and barren can’t waste the whole spring, and a setback can’t waste the whole life.A trial makes youth more beautiful!Thank you.10.3分钟英语演讲稿Dear teachers and studentshello everyone! My name is XX.Today, I am running for the Committee of literary and sports with an excited heart.Although I know that the elites in my class are competing with me, I want to believe in myself that with my strength and confidence, I will succeed.I have great advantages in running for this position.First, I have a loud voice.Second, I have participated in school activities many times.Third, I am cheerful and lively and willing to serve my classmates.I also have many interests and hobbies, such as singing, dancing and badminton.I am good at everything, and I usually get along well with my classmates, and I am also the teacher’s capable little assistant.I believe that with the above advantages, I will be qualified for this position and will not disappoint the students. If I run for the Committee of culture and sports,I will try my best to serve you, enrich your extracurricular life, and make your extracurricular time colorful and do some meaningful activities. If I run for the Committee of culture and sports, I will be strict with myself, lenient to others, not afraid of difficulties, and dare to try until I succeed.I will also establish everyone’s sense of unity, let those discordant notes disappear in the class, and let class 54 become a warm family.Since it is a flower, it should open; 英语演讲稿3分钟(精选20篇)英语3分钟篇1INTRODUCTION1. Tomorrow,we celebrate our 38th year of independence.62 years is a short history for any country. But we have come a long way. 62 years ago,we were a poor country trying to create as many jobs as we could to feed our people. There was no Changi Airport,no multinational corporations or financial centre,no defence capability of our own. Only 60% of our people were literate. Only 11% of our students progressed beyond secondary school. Few people thought we could succeed,or even survive. But we overcame the odds. By working hard, finding our own solutions and tying our futures together as a people,we transformed Singapore into what it is today.2. We now face renewed challenges as a nation. Terrorism isa real and continuing threat. Our economy has also been hit by the global economic slowdown, and more recently by SARS. Even after our economy recovers,we will face formidable competitors, especially in China and India.3. We can overcome these challenges. We have faced up to many challenges before, especially when independence was first thrust upon us. We are in a stronger position today than in 1965. We have a skilled population,a world-class infrastructure, and the confidence of international investors. Most importantly,we are a united people, determined to meet challenges together.THE FOUNDATION OF SUCCESS:ONE UNITED PEOPLE4. A strong nation is not just made up of individuals, however talented. It rests on our collective efforts as one people.5. Our experience with SARS is a good example of how wecan overcome great challenges if we work together. All Singaporeans played a part in fighting SARS - the doctors and nurses in our hospitals, defence engineers working on the thermal scanners, the cleaning staff in our buildings and food centres, and everyone of you in our schools.6. Our schools can take pride in how we stood up to the challenge of SARS. It has been a massive task to monitor the well being of more than half a million pupils and give their parents confidence in the safety of our schools. Our principals, teachers and other school staff rose to the challenge, calmly and meticulously. As pupils, you played your part well,by taking your temperature daily and exercising responsibility to prevent the spread of the disease. Even our Primary 1 and 2 pupils learnt how to take their own temperatures with the guidance of their teachers. The fact that a very large majority of parents sent their children back to schools as soon as we reopened them was a major vote of confidence, especially in our teachers.英语演讲稿3分钟篇2The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what the other people think, say,or do.It is more important than the appearance, the giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company,a church ,a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day, regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.We cannot change our past.We cannot change the fact thatpeople will act in a certain way.We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one stage we have. And that is our attitudes.I am convinced that life is ten percent what happens to me ,and ninety percent how I react to it.And so it is with you.We are in charge of our attitudes.英语演讲稿3分钟篇3When George was thirty-five, he bought a small plane and learned to fly it. He soon became very good and made his plane do all kinds of tricks.George had a friend. His name was Mark. One day George offered to take Mark up in his plane. Mark thought, "I've travelled in a big plane several times, but I've never been in a small one, so I'll go."They went up, and George flew around for half an hour and did all kinds of tricks in the air. When they came down again, Mark was very glad to be back safely, and he said to his friend in a shaking voice, "Well, George, thank you very much for those two trips in your plane."George was very surprised and said, "Two trips?""Yes, my first and my last," answered Mark.英语演讲稿3分钟篇4We all have a common home. she provides us with enough food, enough water and enough living room.We get everything from the nature to live better, but we donnot do anything to protect her. how the air is polluted;the earth is poisoned; water is unsafe to drink and rubbish is burying the civilization that man owns. Our environment is being polluted faster than nature and man's present efforts can prevent. time is bringing us morepeople, and more people will bring us more industry. So many trees will be cut down, and more large cities will be set up. lots of waste material, in return,is produced and harms the environment.so some experts declare that the balance of nature is being upset,so that the very survival of man is in danger. How can we solve this problem?the answer is that we must control the speed of growing people, forbid everyone to cut down trees and pour waste water into rivers and so on.If we achieve this, the environment will turn very clean, and our future will be full of happiness.英语演讲稿3分钟篇5a man who lived in a block of apartments thought it was raining and put hishead out the window to check. as he did so a glass eye fell into his hand.he looked up to see where it came from in time to see a young woman lookingdown."is this yours?" he asked.she said, "yes, could you bring it up?" and the man agreed.on arrival she was profuse in her thanks and offered the man a drink. asshe was very attractive he agreed. shortly afterwards she said, "i'm about tohave dinner. there's plenty. would you like to join me?"he readily accepted her offer and both enjoyed a lovely meal. as theevening was drawing to a close the lady said, "i've had a marvelous evening.would you like to stay the night?"the man hesitated then said, "do you act like this with every man youmeet?""no," she replied, "only those who catch my eye."英语演讲稿3分钟篇6Good afternoon ladies and Gentlemen,I believe that humanism is about kindness and caring for people in need.I believe the role of humanism in today’s technological world is to guide technological development to respond to human need in a benevolent way.In 20xx I was in Yushu during that terrible earthquake. I experienced the full horror of buildings falling and people being trapped. I witnessed the quick response from modern technology when people inside yushu called people outside for help with their mobile phones. Very soon the whole world was responding whole heartedly. After only 5 hours, there was another sound- this time it was helicopters bringing doctors, medical supplies, and the facilities to evacuate the wounded to hospital.Recent advances in earthquake detection and rescue technology have been developed in response to the need to save lives quickly.Consider advances in green food technology, guided by the need for clean natural food and to protect the environment;Advances in water conservation and purification, guided by the need for clean drinking water and for crops and livestock;advances in delivering education to everyone, especially the use of video and the internet for distance learning;advances in medicine, especially affordable medicine for AIDS sufferers in Africa;and advances in building technology guided by the need to keep people safe and warm. All these are the result of responding to human needs with kindness and caring and guiding technology for the benefit of mankind. When I think about the world of advanced technology today,I think of my home, the remote and harsh environment of the Tibetan Plateau, and farmers living in tents with solar energy that they use to power their lights, TV, computers and to improve their lifestyle. I think of farmers talking on their mobile phones, discussing the weather patterns, the cost of food, community news and events. They even talk about Steve Jobs. The train to Lhasa, itself a wonderful engineering feat, brings modern medicine and education to these remote areas. The communities are now interlinked and connected, one of the most basic human needs.Human beings have a need to be connected, to be safe to be cared for in times of trouble and hardship. The development of technology must be guided by these needs. If this is not so, then the development of technology is in the hands of mean and, greedy people. The focus of technological development would be wars and weapons, fraud the misuse of information, and the exploitation of people, such as cheap labor. It can only be humanism which provides the guidance we all need for a better world. And it is you, who have the responsibility to use the technology wisely, to spread the kindness and caring.英语演讲稿3分钟篇7In the world, I am sure that no one dare say he hasn't met any trouble allhis life. So we must face failure. In fact, failure is not fearful, butimportant thing is how to face it correctly. Facing failure, people will nevertake their fate lying down. They will try their best to work harder and harderuntil at last they succeed. Not being courageous to face setbacks, people have no chance to enjoy thepleasure of success. So they have nothing todo but feel sad and empty all dayand all night. In fact, they lose the chance of success themselves. My friend, whenever in troubl e, please remember, “Failure is the mother ofsuccess.”Twists and turns in life are unavoidable and are not always bad. We shouldhave a more optimistic view on life and try to make the most of it and drawlessons from the bumps and turns along the way.If there is any single factor that makes for success in living, it is theability to profit by defeat. Every success I know has been achieved because theperson was able to analyze defeat and actually profit by it in his nextundertaking. Confuse defeat with failure, and you are doomed indeed to failure. For it isn't defeat that makes you fail: it is your own refusal to see in defeatthe guide and encouragement to success. Defeats are nothing to be ashamed of.They are routine incidents in the life of every man who achieves success. Butdefeat is a dead loss unless you do face it without humiliation, analyze it andlearn why you failed.Defeat, in other words, can help to cure its own cause. Not only doesdefeat prepare us for success, but nothing can arouse within us such acompelling desire to succeed. If you let a baby grasp a rod and try to pull itaway, he will cling more and more tightly until his whole weight is suspended. It is this same reaction which should give you new and greater strength everytime you are defeated. If you exploit the power which defeat gives, you canaccomplish with it far more than you are capable of.英语演讲稿3分钟篇8on my birthday two years ago, many special things happened on me. and i wouldremember them forever.that morning, i rode my bike to school happily as usual. on my way to theclassroom, i saw some of my classmates. but when they saw me, they rushed away. that made me confused. because they would talk to me or play jokes on me before. but it was strange today.when i came into the classroom, i found the atmosphere was quite strange.everybody looked at me and laughed loudly. suddenly they all said in good order,“happy birthday to you!” then they began to sing “happy birthday to you~~~~~~” that made me moved.i never told anyone about my birthday, how did they know? i believed they must have done a lot of things. at that moment, i found nothing to say but thanks instead!after school, a thing coming as a surprise happened on me on my way back home. when i was riding suddenly a crowed of people rushed out to stopped my bike.i recogized them at once. they were my senior classmates. they all comlained to me,“why don't you tell us about your birthday? don't you fear that we will let you stand treat? this time you owe us.” then each of them gave a gift and a card with best wishes to me. i was deeply moved again. i suggested having a dinner together. but they all refused because of the time. then they left me saying we would ask you to pay us another day!when i got back home, i thought of everything happened today. suddenly i felt so happy because i had such great friends around me. i thanked them from the bottom of my heart. i would value the precious friendship forever!i have so many feelings through that special day. the only rose without thorns in the world is friendship. a true friend issomeone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget. one friend in a lifetime is much, two are many, three are hardly possible. stick to make friends, forlife without friends is like life on a desert island. to find one real friend in a lifetime is good fortune, to keep him is a blessing.thank you for your attention!英语演讲稿3分钟篇9As you slowly open your eyes, look around , notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air. 第1篇Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today to deliver a speech on a topic that is both vital and challenging: embracing change for a brighter future. As we all know, the world is undergoing rapid changes, and we are living in an era of unprecedented technological advancements, economic shifts, and social transformations. Change is the only constant in life, and it is essential for us to embrace it if we want to thrive in this dynamic world.Firstly, let's talk about the role of change in personal growth. Throughout our lives, we encounter numerous challenges and obstacles. It is through these experiences that we learn, grow, and develop our resilience. When we embrace change, we are opening ourselves up to new opportunities and expanding our horizons. As the saying goes, "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got." By embracing change, we can break free from the rut of our comfort zones and strive for excellence. In the professional realm, change is equally crucial. In today's fast-paced business environment, companies that resist change will ultimately fall behind. Those who embrace change can adapt to new technologies, market trends, and customer demands, ensuring their survival and growth. It is my great honor to stand before you today to deliver a speech on a topic that is as universal as it is challenging: embracing change. We live in an era where change is theonly constant, and yet, it often poses the greatest obstacles to our personal and collective growth. In the next few minutes, I will explore the importance of change, the challenges it brings, and the strategies we can adopt to navigate through it successfully.Firstly, let us acknowledge that change is inevitable. Whether it is technological advancements, social shifts, or personal development, change is the driving force behind progress. It is the catalyst that propels us forward, pushing us to break free from the chains of comfort and mediocrity. In the words of Heraclitus, "Change is the only constant in life."However, change is not always easy to embrace. We are creatures of habit, and our comfort zones are often our safest havens. Stepping out of these zones can be daunting, and it requires courage, resilience, and an open mind. The fear of the unknown, the anxiety of failure, and theresistance to leaving the familiar behind can make change seem like a formidable foe.But what if we view change as an opportunity rather than a threat? What if we recognize that it is through change that we can grow, learn, and evolve? By embracing change, we open ourselves up to new experiences, fresh perspectives, and endless possibilities. We become more adaptable, more innovative, and more compassionate. So, how do we embrace change? Here are some strategies that can help us navigate through the complexities of change:1. Adopt a Growth Mindset: Believe that your abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work. A growth mindset empowers you to embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks, and learn from constructive feedback.2. Embrace Uncertainty: Recognize that uncertainty is a natural part of change. Instead of fearing it, learn to accept it as a part of life. By doing so, you can develop a sense of calm and resilience in the face of the unknown.3. Seek Learning Opportunities: View change as a chance to acquire new skills and knowledge. Be proactive in seeking out learning opportunities, whether it is through formal education, self-study, or practical experience.4. Build a Support Network: Surround yourself with people who support your journey towards change. A strong support network can provide you with encouragement, guidance, and a sense of belonging duringchallenging times.5. Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself during the process of change. Understand that it is normal to feel overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain. Remember that progress is not always linear, and every step forward is a victory.6. Stay Flexible: Be willing to adapt and pivot as needed. Change often requires us to be flexible in our thinking and actions. By remaining open to new ideas and approaches, we can navigate through complex situations more effectively.7. Celebrate Small Wins: Recognize and celebrate the small victories along the way. These milestones can provide motivation and a sense of accomplishment, helping us to stay focused on our goals. In conclusion, embracing change is not an easy task, but it is a crucial one. It is through change that we can achieve personal growth, contribute to the betterment of society, and create a more sustainable future. As we navigate through the ever-evolving landscape of life, let us remember that change is not a destination, but a journey. It is a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and endless possibilities.Thank you for your attention. I invite you to embrace change with an open heart and an open mind, for in doing so, we unlock the door to a brighter, more prosperous tomorrow.[The end of the speech]第3篇Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today to deliver a speech on a topic that is both deeply personal and universally relevant: embracing change. In just three minutes, I will argue that change is the cornerstone of personal growth and global progress, and that by actively seeking and adapting to change, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and for the world.Firstly, let us consider the role of change in personal development. As human beings, we are inherently dynamic creatures, capable of learning, evolving, and adapting. Change is the very essence of life, and without it, we would stagnate and wither away. Think about the child who learns to walk, or the teenager who navigates the complexities of adolescence. Each of these milestones is a testament to our capacity to change and grow.Embracing change is not always easy. It requires us to step out of our comfort zones, to confront the unknown, and to face our fears. Yet, itis precisely these challenges that shape us into the individuals we are today. By embracing change, we unlock our potential, discover new talents, and develop resilience. As the saying goes, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do." And love for our work often comes from the joy of learning and adapting to new challenges. Now, let's turn our attention to the global stage. Change is equally crucial in shaping the world we live in. The interconnectedness of our planet has brought both immense opportunities and unprecedented challenges. Climate change, economic disparities, and political tensions are just a few of the issues that require our collective attention and cooperation. In order to address these global challenges, we must embrace change. We need to foster innovation, promote sustainable practices, and work together across borders. The past few decades have seen remarkableadvancements in technology, medicine, and communication. These advancements have the potential to improve the lives of billions of people around the world. However, to fully harness these benefits, we must be willing to adapt and evolve. One of the most powerful tools at our disposal is education. Byinvesting in education, we empower individuals to think critically, solve problems, and contribute to the betterment of society. Education equips us with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of the modern world and to embrace change with confidence. In conclusion, embracing change is not a choice, but a necessity. Whether we are talking about personal growth or global progress, change is the driving force behind our development. It is the catalyst that propels us forward, pushing us to break free from our limitations and to create a better future for ourselves and for the world. As we move forward, let us remember that change is not something to be feared, but something to be embraced. Let us be courageous, let us be innovative, and let us be united in our pursuit of a better world. By doing so, we can transform our dreams into reality and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.Thank you for your attention.。

Hill, and I am a professor of law at the University of Oklahoma. I was born on a farm in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma, in 1956. I am the youngest of 13 children. I had my early education in Okmulgee County. My father, Albert Hill, is a farmer in that area. My mother#39;s name is Irma Hill. She is also a farmer and a housewife. My childhood was one of a lot of hard work and not much money, but it was one of solid family affection, as represented by my parents. I was reared in a religious atmosphere in the Baptist faith, and I have been a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, since 1983. It is a very warm part of my life at the present time. For my undergraduate work, I went to Oklahoma State University and graduated from there in 1977. I am attaching to this statement a copy of my resume for further details of my education.I graduated from the university with academic honors and proceeded to the Yale Law School, where I received my JD degree in 1980. Upon graduation from law school, I became a practicing lawyer with the Washington, DC, firm of Ward, Hardraker, and Ross.In 1981, I was introduced to now Judge Thomas by a mutual friend. Judge Thomas told me that he was anticipating a political appointment, and he asked if I would be interested in working with him. He was, in fact, appointed as Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights. After he had taken that post, he asked if I would become his assistant, and I accepted that position. In my early period there, I had two major projects. The first was an article I wrote for Judge Thomas#39; signature on the education of minority students. The second was the organization of a seminar on high-risk students which was abandoned because Judge Thomas transferred to the EEOC where he became the chairman of that office.During this period at the Department of Education, my working relationship with Judge Thomas was positive. I had a good deal of responsibility and independence. I thought he respected my work and that he trusted my judgment. After approximately three months of working there, he asked me to go out socially with him. What happened next and telling the world about it are the two most difficult things --experiences of my life. It is only after a great deal of agonizing consideration and sleeplessnumber -- a great number of sleepless nights that I am able to talk of these unpleasant matters to anyone but my close friends.I declined the invitation to go out socially with him and explained to him that I thought it would jeopardize what at the time I considered to be a very good working relationship. I had a normal social life with other men outside of the office. I believed then, as now, that having a social relationship with a person who was supervising my work would be ill-advised. I was very uncomfortable with the idea and told him so.I thought that by saying no and explaining my reasons my employer would abandon his social suggestions. However, to my regret, in the following few weeks, he continued to ask me out on several occasions. He pressed me to justify my reasons for saying no to him. These incidents took place in his office or mine. They were in the form of private conversations which would not have been overheard by anyone else.My working relationship became even more strained when Judge Thomas began to use work situations to discuss sex. On these occasions, he would call me into his office for reports on education issues and projects, or he might suggest that, because of the time pressures of his schedule, we go to lunch to a government cafeteria. After a brief discussion of work, he would turn the conversation to a discussion of sexual matters. His conversations were very vivid. He spoke about acts that he had seen in pornographic films involving such matters as women having sex with animals and films showing group sex or rape scenes. He talked about pornographic materials depicting individuals with large penises or large breasts involved in various sex acts. On several occasions, Thomas told me graphically of his own sexual prowess.Because I was extremely uncomfortable talking about sex with him at all and particularly in such a graphic way, I told him that I did not want to talk about these subjects. I would also try to change the subject to education matters or to nonsexual personal matters such as his background or his beliefs. My efforts to change the subject were rarely successful.Throughout the period of these conversations, he also from time to time asked me for social engagements. My reaction to these conversations was to avoid them by eliminating opportunities for us to engage in extended conversations. This was difficult because at the time I was his only assistant at the Office of Education -- or Office for Civil Rights.During the latter part of my time at the Department of Education, the social pressures and any conversation of his offensive behavior ended. I began both to believe and hope that our working relationship could be a proper, cordial, and professional one. When Judge Thomas was made chair of the EEOC, I needed to face the question of whether to go with him. I was asked to do so, and I did. The work itself was interesting, and at that time it appeared that the sexual overtures which had so troubled me had ended. I also faced the realistic fact that I had no alternative job. While I might have gone back to private practice, perhaps in my old firm or at another, I was dedicated to civil rights work, and my first choice was to be in that field. Moreover, the Department of Education itself was a dubious venture. President Reagan was seeking to abolish the entire department. For my first months at the EEOC, where I continued to be an assistant to Judge Thomas, there were no sexual conversations or overtures. However, during the fall and winter of 1982, these began again. The comments were random and ranged from pressing me about why I didn#39;t go out with him to remarks about my personal appearance. I remember his saying thatsome day I would have to tell him the real reason that I wouldn#39;t go out with him.分钟英语演讲稿篇三we have heard time and time again that the evidence reflects the payment to defendants money. the president had knowledge that these funds were being paid and these were funds collected for the 1972 presidential campaign. we know that the president met with mr. henry petersen 27 times to discuss matters related to watergate, and immediately thereafter met with the very persons who were implicated in the information mr. petersen was receiving. the words are: if the president is connected in any suspicious manner with any person and there be grounds to believe that he will shelter that person, he may be impeached.justice story: impeachment is attended -- is intended for occasional and extraordinary cases where a superior power acting for the whole people is put into operation to protect their rights and rescue their liberties from violations. we know about the huston plan. we know about the break-in of the psychiatrist#39;s office. we know that there was absolute complete direction on september 3rd when the president indicated that a surreptitious entry had been made in dr. fielding#39;s office, after having met with mr. ehrlichman and mr. young. protect their rights. rescue their liberties from violation.the carolina ratification convention impeachment criteria: those are impeachable who behave amiss or betray their public trust.4 beginning shortly after the watergate break-in and continuing to the present time, the president has engaged in a series of public statements and actions designed to thwart the lawful investigation by government prosecutors. moreover, the president has made public announcements and assertions bearing on the watergate case, which the evidence will show he knew to be false. these assertions, false assertions, impeachable, those who misbehave. those who behave amiss or betray the public trust.分钟优秀英语演讲稿篇四i#39;m jim.i#39;m 13 years old and i study in no.1 middle school.my school is very beautiful.every morning i get up at seven and have breakfast.and then i go to school at half past seven.lessons begin at eight o#39; clock. we have four lessons in the morning and chinese is my favourite lesson.we usually have 10 minute#39;s break between two lessons and at about 12 o#39;ciock we finish our morning lessons.i have lunch at school at twelve thirty.i like schooi lunch and i always have rice with meat and vegetables.after lunch i often talk with my friends or play basketball with them.in the afternoon lessons start at half past one and finish at four o#39;ciock.i play games after school with my friends and then go home at half past four.in the evening i do my homework and then watch tv.at ten o#39;分钟英语演讲稿篇五My hometown is in Shaanxi, where there are many specialties and scenery.Although Shaanxi cuisine has not entered the eight major cuisines of China, themutton paomo and Qishan saozi noodles in Shaanxi are very good. My favorite moment of the year. It’s a genuine day of dreams: in the student section, dreams of new careers, marriage, children, new adventures. In the parents’ seating, dreams of what to do with that disposable income they’re no longer sending to West Lafayette. All in all, a day like no other. My own dreams about today sometimes are more like nightmares. What to say that’s fitting – that’s meaningful but still concise enough to get us on to the main event quickly? Hardest of all, what to say that’s the least bit original? While dreaming, or daydreaming, about today, I found myself thinking about Purdue Pete. Again, this year, Pete was ranked among the most identified college mascots in the country, and the favorite in our Big Ten Conference.A few years before your class arrived on campus, someone tried to redo Pete and turn him into some new symbol of our school. I wasn’t here, either, but as told to me, the idea started an immediate backlash, a near-riot, and died within days. I got to thinking about "why?"Maybe part of it was his uniqueness. At my last count, there were 64 Eagles, 46 Tigers, and 33 Wildcats among college mascots. But there’s only one set of Boilermakers. But I think our attachment to Pete stems mainly from the way he personifies our self-image of strength. When our up-and-coming football program chose its slogan for this year, it was "Only the strong." One of the year’s YouTube sensations featured a five-foot-nine Purdue player squatting 600 pounds.优秀英语演讲稿三分钟篇七It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don#39;t go for looks; they can deceive. Don#39;t go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.Always put yourself in the other#39;s shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; a timely word may level stress; a loving word may heal and bless. The happiest of people don#39;t necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you#39;re the one smiling and everyone around you is crying. There was once a guy who suffered from cancer, a cancer that can?#39;t be cured. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a beautiful girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.。

I was riding my bike to school. I had taken a special route to pick up a gift, but that day, "the road less traveled by" led to disaster. Crossing a road, a drunk driver ran a red light, slammed into me, and shattered my left knee.It made all the difference.I was forced to postpone college, plunged into painful therapy . . . but eventually, I also learned much about life and myself. I found the strength to withstand adversity, learned compassion, and above all, I learned that the road not taken is not just about regrets or choices but also about the perpetual now and the always-coming future. When I first studied Rober t Frost’s “The Road Not Taken” in middle school, I was unable to grasp its ambiguity. I always thought that Frost’s persona chooses “a road less traveled by” and lives life being subversive and irreverent. I was wrong. In the poem, both of the two roads th at “diverged in a yellow wood” are actually “about the same.” But there has to be a choice, and sometimes, they it can be involuntary (as I learned the hard way). This makes me extremely thankful and resolute when I can make conscious choices and plan for the future, and so I know now that Frost's poem is also about "the road not [yet] taken."For everyone, this means something slightly different. For me, it means constant vigilance, learning, and love. Our journey ishard, complex, and it often presents unexpected twists, but reflecting on the roads not taken and not yet taken each day gives us a little more strength and confidence. Life cannot and will not me perfect, and the truth is it will end. But as Willa Cather would say, “The end is nothing, the road is all.” The road not taken in the past, and the road not yet taken that lies ahead. But about the present? It joints the past and the future. What then, is “the road not taken” in the perpetual now? Personally, I find an answer in these lines from Alfred Lord Tennyson’s “Ulysses”:Tho’ much is taken, much abides; and thoughWe are not now that strength which in old daysMoved earth and heaven; that which we are, we areOne equal temper of heroic hearts,Made weak by time and fate, but strong in willTo strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.Thank you.经典的英语三分钟演讲篇6good afternoon:honorable judges, dear teachers and close friends.i’m very glad to stand here to share my speech with you.today i’m going to talk about dreams.everyone has a dream.martin luther king had a dream-and we can all recall his civil rights speech.phil knight had a dream-and now the whole world knows his nike slogan“just do it”!i also have a dream, but not only a simple one.when i was in primary school,my dream was that i would be a doctor when i grew up.i’ll be the first person who produces a new medicine.this kind of medicine can make teachers relaxwhen they are busy correcting their students’ exercises and preparing their lessons.because one day when i woke up at midnight,i found my father,a senior chinese teacher, was still busy with his work.i was deeply moved.i wish my father could be healthy and relaxed every minute.now i’m a senior grade two student, all my classmates and i are working hard,we all know the college entrance examination which will come in the year of is a big problem for us.we must study harder and harder in order to go to a good university, then when we finish our school,we can find a good job in society.my dream is also that.though now i’m not good at study,i’ll try my best.i know fantasy is hard to come true, bue dream can.i’ll work hard for my dreams,i’ll never give up.thank you!经典的英语三分钟演讲篇7good moring everyone ,today i will tell you my dream keeped in my heart .the ideal is dream , it is power that people move forward to. each people have their different ideams. i have my own ideam .when i was childen i like to look fairy tale ,so every day i looked lots of fairy tale books , sometimes mom told me beautiful fairy tales, wonderful legends . every time , i na-iv-ely looked at sparked stars in the sky , i thought : when i grow up would like to be a writer and write many articles let people read and appreciate .everyone has a dream. i often ask myself. when i was a little boy, i wanted to be a soldier with a gun so that i could defend our motherland.now i am a young boy with a new dream——to be a doctor. i want to be a famous doctor, helping the sick andsaving their lives.i also saw some people who were suffering and dying of ill-nesses. i made up my mind to become a doctor, so that i can help the sick people and cure them of their diseases. china is a develop-ing country. she needs good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and lonely villages.as time goes slowly, this beautiful but na-iv-e ideal is permanently impressed in my mind, it deeply hide in my heart and become a kind of power urge me forward. with the passage of time , i have slowly come to understand a reason , it is not easy to be writers , it needs to experience many twists and turns on the road , need to suffer numerous wind and rain blow . but i will not back down and fear , i would like to insist, i firmly believe that if you insist on you will achieve victory.thanks my beloved teacher ,thanks every classmates .经典的英语三分钟演讲篇8we've gone from losing 9 million jobs during the financial crisis to creating 10 million jobs. we've reduced the unemployment rate from 10% in october of to 6.1% today. and for the first time since the 1990s, american manufacturing is steadily5 adding jobs-over 700,000 since . and surveys of both american and foreign business leaders confirm that america once again is viewed as the best place in the world to build and invest.that's all good news.but an awful lot of middle class americans are still not feeling the effects of this recovery. since the year , gross domestic product-our gdp - has risen by 25%. and productivity in america is up by 30%. but middle class wages during that same time period have gone up by only fourteen cents.folks, it's long past time to cut the middle class back into thedeal, so they can benefit from the economic growth they helped create. folks, there used to be a bargain in this country supported by democrats6 and republicans, business and labor7. the bargain was simple. if an employee contributed to the growth and profitability of the company, they got to share in the profits and the benefits as well. that's what built the middle class. it's time to restore the bargain, to deal the middle class back in. because, folks, when the middle class does well, everybody does well-the wealthy get wealthier and the poor have a way up.you know, the middle class is not a number. it's a value set. it means being able to own your home; raise your children in a safe neighborhood; send them to a good school where if they do well they can qualify to go to college and if they get accepted you'd be able to find a way to be able to send them to college. and in the meantime, if your parents need help, being able to take care of them, and hope to put aside enough money so that your children will not have to take care of you.that's the american dream. that's what this country was built on. and that's what we'redetermined8 to restore.in order to do that, it's time to have a fair tax structure, one that values paychecks as much as unearned income and inherited wealth, to take some of the burden off of the middle class. it's time to close tax loopholes so we can reduce the deficit9, and invest in rebuilding america - our bridges, our ports, our highways, rails, providing good jobs.with corporate10 profits at near record highs, we should encourage corporations to invest more in research and development and the salaries of their employees. it's time for us to invest in educational opportunity to guarantee that we have the most highly skilledworkforce11 in the world, for 6 out ofevery 10 jobs in the near term is going to require some education beyond high school. folks, it's long past due to increase the minimum wage that will lift millions of hardworking families out of poverty target poverty and in the process produce a ripple12 effect that boosts wages for the middle class and spurs economic growth for the united states of america. economists13 acknowledge that if we do these and other things, wages will go up and we'll increase the gross domestic product of the united states.my fellow americans, we know how to do this. we've done it before. it's the way we used to do business and we can do it that way again. all the middle class in this country want is a chance. no guarantee, just a chance.americans want to work. and when given a fair shot, the american worker has never, ever, ever, let his country down. folks, it's never a good bet to bet against the american people.thanks for listening.经典的英语三分钟演讲篇9We've all been taught that we should help people. It is the right thing to do and will make us popular with others. It may even win us favors in return. However, we must be realistic. We can't say yes to every request. If we did, we would fail or go crazy for sure. Sometimes we simply don't have the time to help. In this case, we must know how to say no politely. When we need to say no, here is one method we can try. First, we should tell the truth. If we really can't do something, we should just say so. Second, we should remember to refuse requests politely. We must communicate clearly, but must also be sincere and sympathetic. A true friend will understand. Finally, we must not feel guilty about saying no. Sometimes refusing othersis the right thing to do. It can save ourselves, and them, a lot of trouble. In short, we cannot please everyone all the time. Refusing favors is a part of life.我们都被教导,我们应该帮助人们。

We see ourselves on a long trip that spans the continent. We are traveling by train. Out the windows, we drink in the passing scene of cars on nearby highways, of children waving at a crossing, of cattle grazing on a distant hillside, of smoke pouring from a power plant, of row upon row of corn and wheat, of flatlands and valleys, of mountains and rolling hillsides, of city skylines and village halls. But uppermost in our minds is the final destination. On a certain day at a certain hour, we will pull into the station. Bands will be playing and flags waving. Once we get there, so many wonderful dreams will come true and the pieces of our lives will fit together like a completed jigsaw puzzle. How restlessly we pace the aisles, damning the minutes for loitering --waiting, waiting, waiting for the station.Sooner or later, we must realize there is no station, no one place to arrive at once and for all. The true joy of life is the trip. The station is only a dream. It constantly outdistances us.Relish the moment is a good motto, especially when coupled with Psalm 118:24:This is the day which the Lord hath made;we will rejoice and be glad in it. It isn#39;t the burdens of today that drive men mad. It is the regrets over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow. Regret and fear are twin thieves who rob us of today. So stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles. In stead, climb more mountains, eat more ice cream, go barefoot more often, swim more rivers, watch more sunsets, laugh more, cry less. Life must be lived as we go along. The station will come soon enough.分钟生命的英语演讲稿篇五I once got on a taxi of which the owner is a faithful reader of mine. On the hurtling bus, The driver asked me : “Mr.Lin, could you tell me what is meaning of living?”He was the first one who asked me such a question about the life, and I was dumb to be asked suddenly.Suddenly, the couplet which hanged on the wall of the auditorium of my middle school was floating on my mind. The purpose of living is to develop the living quality of mankind.(the purpose of living is to promote the living standard of mankind;)The meaning of life is to create the supervene lives of universe.(the meaning of life is to carry on the continuum of the universe)And then, I talked to the driver, “The meaning of life is to make a difference in your mind and soul, meanwhile, do something good and devote yourself to the world everyday.”When I have said all this, we were just gone through Renai Road, where were standing beautiful trees of the each side. It is there that I saw the pretty flower blooming on the ceiba trees. How beautiful they are. When we are making progress, that means we are ‘blooming’for ourselves. Out willing of devoting to our world is a flower for the world.分钟生命的英语演讲稿篇六Recently, a professor of philosophy in the United States has written a book called Money and the Meanlng of Life. He has discovered that how we deal with money in our day-to-day life has more meaning than we usually think. One of the exercises he asked his students to do is to keep a record of every penny they spend for a week. From the way they spend their money, they can see what they really value in life.He says our relation with others often becomes clearly defined when money enters the picture. You might have a wonderful friendship with somebody and you think that you are very good friends. But you will know him only when you ask him to lend you some money. If he does, it brings something to the relationship that seems stronger than ever before. Or it can suddenly weaken the relationship if he doesnt. This person may say that he has a certain feeling, but if it is not carried out in the money world, there is something less real about it.People just have an idea of making more and more money, but what is it for? How much do I need for any given purposes in my life7 In his book, the professor uncovered an important need in modern society: to bring back the idea that money is an instrument rather than the end. Money plays an important role in the material world, but expecting money to give happiness may be missing the meaning of life.英语的三分钟演讲稿篇七ladies and gentlemen, this is joe biden, i'm filling in for president obama, while he addresses the nato summit in wales.when the president and i took office in january of , this nation was in the midst of the greatest economic crisis since the great depression. our economy had plummeted1 at a rate of 8% in a single quarter-part of the fastest economic decline any time in the last half century. millions of families were falling underwater on their homes and threatened with foreclosure. the iconic american automobile2 industry was under siege.but yesterday's jobs report was another reminder3 of how far we've come. we've had 54 straight months of job creation. and that's the longest streak4 of uninterrupted job growth in the united states' history.we've gone from losing 9 million jobs during the financial crisis to creating 10 million jobs. we've reduced the unemployment rate from 10% in october of to 6.1% today. and for the first time since the 1990s, american manufacturing is steadily5 adding jobs-over 700,000 since . and surveys of both american and foreign business leaders confirm that america once again is viewed as the best place in the world to build and invest.that's all good news.but an awful lot of middle class americans are still not feeling the effects of this recovery. since the year , gross domestic product-our gdp - has risen by 25%. and productivity in america is up by 30%. but middle class wages during that same time period have gone up by only fourteencents.folks, it's long past time to cut the middle class back into the deal, so they can benefit from the economic growth they helped create. folks, there used to be a bargain in this country supported by democrats6 and republicans, business and labor7. the bargain was simple. if an employee contributed to the growth and profitability of the company, they got to share in the profits and the benefits as well. that's what built the middle class. it's time to restore the bargain, to deal the middle class back in. because, folks, when the middle class does well, everybody does well-the wealthy get wealthier and the poor have a way up.you know, the middle class is not a number. it's a value set. it means being able to own your home; raise your children in a safe neighborhood; send them to a good school where if they do well they can qualify to go to college and if they get accepted you'd be able to find a way to be able to send them to college. and in the meantime, if your parents need help, being able to take care of them, and hope to put aside enough money so that your children will not have to take care of you.分钟珍惜时间英语演讲稿篇八When asked “Whats the biggest mistake we make in life?” the Buddha replied. ” The biggest mistake is you think you have time.”当被问及“人生最大的错误是什么”佛祖会这样回答,“最大的错误是你认为你自己有时间。

Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people’s lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollutionThere is plenty of evidence to show that sustainable development can be achieved by balancing economic growth with protection of the environment. The key to achieving this is to make people aware of the seriousness of the problem. Both governments andordinary citizens should join hands to make this world a better place to live in,not only for ourselves, but also for future generations。

三分钟经典英语演讲稿【篇一:英语演讲稿3分钟关于天才】英语演讲稿3分钟关于天才good morning/evening/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen :today, my speech is about talents,in my opionion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight among countries is actually the fight among talents.first, id like to define the wordtalent in my idea, a talent is one person who is good at or expertised in some or multiple areas. nowadays, as the world developing goes on , if one country want to rank top or do a good job in the world, the country must have many talents.for example, china, the biggest developing country in the world, in the past 100 years, is always invaded by other countries, why ,the reason is that china at that time had not so many talents. if they had anti-intrusion leader talents in the war, needless to say, they would have beat those big powers.if they had talents in weapons manufacturing, nodody dares to provoke us.however, nowadays, its a totally different situation, china has become powerfulin all over the world, why ? because there are many talents serving the country, the civilians become more and more literated.more and more people go to university, more and more people come to receive further education. so what is that in return, talents in army protect ourcountry from invasion, talents in commerce help make our economy keep in improving, talents in aerospace make the world see chinese manned spacecraft flying. talents in sports make china rank the first in the olympic games......to sum up, talents will play a more and more impoetant role in the world, if one country intends to flourish, he must foster talents as many as they can ,thats all, thank you.【篇二:名人的英语演讲稿3分钟】my chinese dream我的中国梦i am very glad to stand here to give thier a short speech.today my topic is that the youth are the future of motherland很高兴站在这里做这篇短小的演讲,我演讲的主题是青年是祖国的未来。

so what?s my chinese dream ? finally i will announce.we had learned a lot of knowledge and understood a lot oftruth in the book. we had a basic concept to our country at that time. we know that our country is full of sunshine , and we are the future of our country, and our dreams are to be the hope of our motherland.

而好多我们亲爱的祖国委以重任培养的青年学生们变得轻浮、急躁,更别提什么梦想,什么中国梦了?are we sick, or is our dear motherland sick?我很惊讶,当大街上有老人摔倒,我们不敢再去扶起;我很难过,当有人做了好事被报道,更多的人说他做作;我很伤心,当我看到我们众多的青年人变得冷漠、市侩、欺诈以及缺乏理想。

到底是我们病了,还是我们亲爱的祖国病了?i dont want to talk about the construction of our country politics, andalso speak impassioned speech on the diaoyu island event .i just want to appeal young people, showing the side ofyouth, good and confidence.we must learn to organize our own thoughts, correct our own concept, and change our direction to the right side in future life. china dream actually lies in our young generation, especially of the intellectuals.

i dream to construct our beauty china with millions of young people who have the same dream. we do it without exaggeration but only with persistence.我梦想和万千具有相同梦想的年轻人去建设我们的美丽中国,没有虚浮,只有执着,只有奋斗,只有勇于担当。

这就是我的中国梦! that is my speech, thanks everyone.我的演讲就到这里,谢谢大家。

we are the world ,we are the future世界是我们的,未来是我们的someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. i don?t know who wrote these words, but i?ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. we are all in the position of the farmers. if we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. if we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.一些人说?我们正在读一本无穷的书中的第一章的第一节。

?我不知道谁写了这些话,但是我一直很喜欢它,因为它提醒了我,我们能够创造我们想要的未来。

w e are young. “how to spend the youth?” it is a meaningful question. to answer it, first i have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” youth is not a time of life, it?s a state of mind. it?s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. it?s the matter of the will. it?s the freshness ofthe deep spring of life.我们都是农夫。
