People should go to jail for what happened. Some of the Wall Street executives caused the financial crimes, however, the all American people to beard the consequences. Have too much money, executive living in luxury. They paid for drugs and sex. Anything that is illegal should be punished. If they used drugs and paid for women, we appeal jail they.

I think U.S. Government and Wall Street companies are both to blame for the financial crisis. They do not take timely measures to prevent and curb the economic crisis. Regulatory agencies for economic relations have turned blind eye problems. The occasion of the economic crises, investors have no awareness of the risks of investing. In addition to these factors, do not U.S. citizens or interest groups, government misconduct and timely corrective. Everything leads to the generation of economic crisis.

50 million people globally could end up below the poverty line again. It was caused by the out-of-control financial industry. One of the cause of the Great Depression is the crazy stocks trading. Great Depression also result in 13.7 million people unemployed in United States,5.7 million people in Germany and 2.8 million people in Britain. After the Great Depression, many solutions have been found to solve the problem. So, it will be easier to get through the crisis.
Question 2
Who is more to blame for the financial crisis? U.S. Government or Wall Street companies? Regulators who did not do their job, or , investors who were careless with their money? Are U.S. citizens responsible for ignoring the problem and not taking action against the companies or the terrible regulators who did not do their job?

Question 3
Do you think people should go to jail for what happened? If so, who? As you saw in the film, some of the Wall street executives used drugs and paid for sex; if it is too hard to jail the executives for their financial crimes, should they be put in jail for these drug and women crimes?

In general, the film does not put the case of the Great Depression due to a person or a group in the first lead of the tragedy, but obviously, on our current knowledge about the Great Depression is not entirely a law of history that the factors occupy a positioncan not be undone . In September 2008, the bankruptcy of the U.S. investment bank Lehman Brothers and the collapse of the world's largest insurance company, AIG triggered a global crisis. The result was a global recession which cost the world tens of trillions of dollars, rendered 30 million people unemployed and doubled the national debt of the United States.

Academic institutions (Universities) should have a policy that make them state conflict of interest. Some of the Professors from Columbia and Harvard said noting about what executives did, because of their close relationship. This is a form of cheating. For Example,we see some commercial advertisements in class, we may thing our teachers cheat us and feel unhappy.

Question 5
You have learned about the ‘Great Depression’ in the United States History. How is the financial crisis in the movie similar to the Great Depression? How is it different?
We were very angry about what we saw in the film. They all made lies, not only the CEOs of enterprises or banks ,the commanding officers of the government ,but also many prominent academics. Many people that lose the job or become homeless are caused by the economist. So we very hate these economist, they have very good talent to do something to make our life better, but they do not, they prefer doing those to make a lot of money for themselves.

Glenn Hubbard is one
example. He was the professor of the Columbia Business School, at the same time ,he was the chairman of council of economic advisors under George W. Bush. Long time ago, we think the USA is a prefect country. But now, we change our mind, the USA, as other countries, is a very complicated country, have something good, also have something bad.
Question 1
How angry were you about what you saw in the film? What in the film specifically made you angry? Who made you the angriest? Did this change your opinion about what you thought of the USA?
9Hale Waihona Puke Question 4Should academic institutions have a policy that should make them state any conflict of interest? (For example, what did you think of the Professors from Columbia and Harvard?) For example, if a movie company pays me money to show you a movie in class, should it be a rule that I tell you the company paid me to show the movie?
