2020年河南省高考英语满分作文全文共10篇示例,供读者参考篇1Hello everyone, I'm a primary school student from Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Today, I want to share with you about the 2020 Henan Province college entrance examination English essay. The length of the essay is over 2000 words, so get ready for a long read! The topic of the essay is "The Importance of Education". I think education is super duper important because it helps us learn new things, gain knowledge, and develop skills. Education can also open doors to better opportunities in the future.I believe that education should start from a young age. Children should go to school to learn how to read, write, and do math. They should also learn about different subjects like science, history, and art. Education is not just about memorizing facts, but also about thinking critically and creatively. In school, teachers play a very important role in educating students. They help us understand difficult concepts, answer ourquestions, and guide us in our learning journey. We should always respect our teachers and listen to what they have to say.Besides school education, I also think that parents play a crucial role in educating their children. They should set good examples, encourage their children to study hard, and provide them with support and guidance. Parents should also teach their children important values like honesty, kindness, and perseverance.Education is not just about academic achievements, but also about personal growth and development. It helps us become well-rounded individuals who can contribute positively to society. With a good education, we can achieve our goals and dreams, and make a difference in the world. In conclusion, education is super duper important and we should all strive to learn and grow every day. Remember, knowledge is power, so let's study hard and make the most of our education. Thank you for listening to my essay!篇2Title: My Dream School TripHi everyone, I'm so excited to tell you all about my dream school trip to Henan province in China. 2020年宁夏高考英语作文范文
2020年宁夏高考英语作文范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Life as a KidHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I'm in the 5th grade at Sunny Hills Elementary School. Today I want to tell you all about my life as a kid. It's a pretty fun life if you ask me!Let me start by telling you about my family. I live with my mom, dad, and little brother Tommy who is 7 years old. My mom works as a nurse at the hospital. She has to get up really early but she's home by dinner time. My dad is a software engineer which means he works on computers and codes and stuff. I'm not totally sure what he does but I know he's really smart!Tommy is a major pain most of the time, like all little brothers I guess. He's always trying to get into my room and play with my toys. And he makes a huge mess everywhere he goes! But he can be fun sometimes when he's not being annoying. We like to play games like hide and seek or tag in the backyard. I always let him win though because he's just a little kid.At school, my favorite subjects are art and PE. Art is fun because I love drawing, painting, making crafts and all that creative stuff. I'm a pretty good artist if I do say so myself! In PE, I love running around and playing games like kickball or dodgeball. It's a nice break from sitting at a desk all day.My least favorite subjects are probably math and science. Math is so boring with all the numbers and equations. I can never remember all the formulas and rules. Science isn't too bad but I don't really like dissecting animals or doing experiments. It's kind of gross if you ask me!After school, I have a few activities I do. On Mondays I have soccer practice. I've played soccer since I was in kindergarten and I'm pretty good at it. I'm a forward so I get to try and score goals which is fun. Tuesdays I have Girl Scouts where we do crafts, sell cookies and learn about being a good citizen. Wednesdays are my favorite because that's when I have art class! We learn how to paint, draw, sculpt and all sorts of cool artsy things. In my free time, I love reading, riding my bike around the neighborhood, and hanging out with my best friend Emma. We've been best buddies since 1st grade! Emma and I love having sleepovers, watching movies, and just being silly together. Best friends are the best. Some of my other favorite things are ice cream (chocolate is the best flavor!), the color purple, the movie Frozen, and the singer Taylor Swift. I wanted to be either a artist or a teacher when I grow up, but that seems so far away! For now, I'm just happy being a kid.Well, that's a little bit about my life. Being a 10-year-old is pretty great - going to school, having fun, playing with friends, and not having too many responsibilities. I try to enjoy it while it lasts before I become a weird teenager! Let me know if you have any other questions about my life as a kid.篇2My Big Summer AdventureHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I just had the most amazing summer and I can't wait to tell you all about it! Every year, my family goes on a big trip during the summer break. This year, we went on an incredible adventure that took us halfway across China. We started our journey in my hometown of Yinchuan, the capital city of Ningxia. The first stop on our trip was Beijing. I was so excited because I had learned all about Beijing in school. It's the capital of China and home to incredible historical sites like theForbidden City and the Great Wall of China. When we arrived, I couldn't believe my eyes! The Forbidden City was even bigger and grander than I had imagined. It felt like stepping back in time as we walked through the ancient gates and marveled at the beautiful architecture. After spending a few days exploring Beijing, we hopped on a high-speed train headed to Xi'an. I had never been on a bullet train before and it was the coolest experience ever! The train went so fast, it felt like we were flying. In just a few hours, we had traveled over 600 miles. Isn't that crazy? In Xi'an, we visited one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world – the Terracotta Army. Can you imagine an underground army of thousands of life-sized clay soldiers, horses and chariots? It was built over 2,000 years ago to protect an emperor in the afterlife. The level of detail and artistry was just mind-blowing. I felt like a real explorer uncovering an ancient secret! From Xi'an, we flew to the city of Chengdu, which is famous for its pandas. We went to a incredible breeding center where we got to see these gentle giants up close. The baby pandas were sooooo cute and cuddly! I even got to hold one for a fewminutes. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I'll never forget. Our final stop was the beautiful city of Chongqing. It's built along the banks of the Yangtze River and has a very unique landscape with skyscrapers and houses climbing up the steep hillsides. We took a cruise down the Yangtze and the views were breathtaking. I had never seen anything quite like it.Throughout our journey, we sampled the most delicious Chinese cuisines – from mouthwatering Peking duck in Beijing to hot and spicy Sichuan dishes in Chengdu. My taste buds were tingling with all the different flavors! We also picked up fun souvenirs like traditional Chinese outfits, decorative fans, and jade jewelry to remind us of our amazing trip. When it was finally time to head home, I felt a little sad that our adventure was over. But I was also incredibly grateful to my parents for giving me the chance to explore so many new places and experience different cultures. This trip was truly the highlight of my summer and has inspired me to keep learning about the world around me. Maybe I'll become an explorer or travel writer when I grow up!I hope you enjoyed hearing about my big summer adventure across China. It was full of fun, excitement, learning and makingspecial family memories that I'll cherish forever. I can't wait to plan my next epic journey!篇3The 2020 Gaokao Was No Match for Me!Hi there! It was crazy! Now I know what you're thinking - "Xiaoming, you're way too young to be taking that huge test! It's for high school seniors getting ready for college." And you're right, I'm just a kid. But you see, my English is really really good. I'm basically an English expert for my age.It all started when my mom signed me up for an afterschool English tutoring program when I was in 1st grade. At first, I'll admit, I wasn't too excited about giving up my play time to study. But then I got totally hooked on learning English! The grammar, the vocabulary, listening to natives speakers - I just couldn't get enough.By the time 2nd grade rolled around, I was reading at a middle school level in English. My tutor said I had excellent pronunciation and writing abilities too. That's when we hatched the big plan - I would try to take the English portion of the Gaokao exam as practice! My parents weren't so sure at first. "Xiaoming, that test is extremely difficult. It's meant for teenagers who have studied English for many years," my dad warned me. But I was determined. With my tutor's help, I studied hard for months, reviewing all the concepts I would need. Finally, test day arrived in June 2020. Despite being by far the youngest one there, I marched right into that examsite holding my sharpened pencils high. The proctors did a double take when they saw me, but they couldn't stop me from sitting down and taking the test. This was my moment! The listening portion was easy peasy lemon squeezy. Barely even had to try to catch all the details. The reading comprehension gave me a little trouble though - a few of the passages used some really obscure vocabulary that even I wasn't familiar with. But I diligently deployed my contextual reasoning skills and pushed through. Then came writing time, which is where I knew I would truly shine. The prompt was something like "What advances in technology do you think will most improve the world in the next 20 years?" Well, as an expert in both English and looking to the future, I couldn't have asked for a better question!I spent the next couple hours feverishly scribbling away, pouring all my big ideas onto those pages. I wrote about amazing innovations like flying cars, hologram phones, artificial intelligence assistants, and even ideas for colonizing Mars. Needless to say, I absolutely filled up those booklets with my wildest dreams and ambitions. When time was finally up, I had to be about dragged away from my desk, I was so engrossed in my writing. I knew right then that I had given it my absolute all. As I headed home, visions of top scores danced in my head. Maybe I would even get a perfect score and they would have to make a new category above that!A few months later, the Gaokao results came out. I bounced up and down with anticipation as my tutor went to go check my score online. She came running back to me with the biggest smile I've ever seen. "Xiaoming! You got...an 89!"I'll be honest, I was a little disappointed at first. After all, I never got anything less than 95% on my English tests at mytutoring center. But my tutor showed me that an 89 was actually an incredibly high score, even for native speakers! She said my writing was some of the best and most creative she had ever seen from someone my age.My parents were beside themselves with pride, and immediately took me out to celebrate at my favorite hotpot restaurant. They said my performance was amazing, but I should probably wait a few more years before attempting the full Gaokao. I agreed - after all, I still have my whole childhood to enjoy! So there you have it - the unbelievable story of how I, a mere 3rd grader, conquered the English section of the infamous 2020 Ningxia Gaokao. Will I take it again when I'm older and wiser? You'll just have to wait and see! But one thing's for sure - with my skills, the test doesn't stand a chance against me. Look out world, here comes Xiaoming!篇4My Big DreamHi there! My name is Xiaoming, and I'm a 10-year-old kid from Ningxia. I love learning English because I think it's a super cool language, and I want to share my big dream with you.You see, when I grow up, I want to become an astronaut! Ever since I was a little kid, I've been fascinated by the stars and planets in the night sky. I used to spend hours gazing up at them, imagining what it would be like to soar through the cosmos and explore new worlds. My parents bought me a telescope for my 8th birthday, and that's when I became completely obsessed with space! I would spend every clear night peering through the lens, marveling at the craters on the moon and trying to spot planets like Mars and Jupiter. I even started keeping a journal where I'd write down all the cool things I learned about the universe. In school, my favorite subjects are science and math. I love learning about how rockets work and the physics behind space travel. I'm also really good at math, which I know is super important for astronauts. Whenever we have to do calculations or solve complicated equations, I'm always the first one to raise my hand!I've already started preparing by joining the school's astronomy club and attending lectures by visiting scientists. Last summer, my parents even took me to a space camp where I got to experience what it's like to live and work in a simulated space station. It was the coolest thing ever!Someday, I hope to work for China's National Space Administration or even the International Space Station. Can you imagine how amazing it would be to actually go into space and float around in zero gravity? Or to look back at our beautiful planet Earth from hundreds of miles away? I get goosebumps just thinking about it!But being an astronaut isn't just about the adventure and excitement (although those are definitely big parts of it!). I also want to contribute to humanity's understanding of the universe and help make new discoveries that could benefit people back on Earth. Maybe I'll be part of the team that finds evidence of life on another planet, or maybe I'll help develop new technologies for space travel and exploration.I know the road ahead won't be easy, but I'm ready to work as hard as I possibly can to make my dream a reality. With dedication, perseverance, and a passion for learning, I truly believe I can become an astronaut and contribute to humanity's quest to explore the final frontier. So wish me luck, folks! Who knows, maybe one day you'll see me soaring up into the stars, representing China and Ningxia on an epic adventure through the vast expanse of space. The sky's the limit... or should I say, the universe's the limit!篇5My Awesome School DaysHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade and I just love going to school! I know some kids don't really like it, but for me, it's the best. I have so much fun learning new things every day.My favorite subjects are science and art. In science, we get to do a lot of cool experiments. Last week, we made little volcanoes out of clay and baking soda and then poured in some vinegar to make them "erupt!" It was so awesome seeing the lava (well, not real lava of course) bubble up and spill over the sides. I love hands-on stuff like that because it really helps the lessons stick in my brain.Art class is a blast too. We get to paint, draw, sculpt with clay...you name it! Recently, we learned about portraits and had to draw self-portraits. Mine didn't look exactly like me, but it was still pretty good I think. I gave myself bright pink hair just for fun! Our art teacher, Mr. Sanchez, always encourages us to be creative and think outside the box. He says art is all about expressing yourself.Recess is definitely my favorite part of the school day though. I'm a total playground warrior! As soon as the recess bell rings, I sprint out to the playground and race my friends to the swing set. We take turns pushing each other in the swing, seeing who can go the highest without jumping off. I'm basically a daredevil! The monkey bars are fun too. Did you know I can cross them without my feet touching the ground at all? I'm a regular little monkey!Sometimes we also play kickball or basketball out on the blacktop. The boys say I have a killer throwing arm for kickball. And in basketball, I'm pretty much the queen of stealing the ball. The other kids are always like "Whoaaa, where'd she come from??" because I'm so sneaky and quick. What can I say, I'm just a stellar athlete! At lunchtime, me and my best friends Zoe and Emma always sit together at a table near the window. We talk and laugh about everything under the sun while we eat. Zoe's mom is an amazing cook, so she always has the most delicious homemade lunches. Sometimes I'm a tiny bit jealous because my lunches are kind of boring in comparison. But Zoe always shares her food with me, so I don't mind too much. After lunch, we have reading time, which is one of my favorite parts of the day. Our teacher, Mrs. Parker, has a reallysoothing voice that's perfect for reading aloud to the class. She always does different character voices too, which cracks me up. Just last week, she read us a chapter of The BFG by Roald Dahl and she made the BFG sound just hilarious!Even though reading time is great, I'll admit that sometimes my mind starts to wander and I zone out a little. Suddenly I'm daydreaming about exploring a magical forest full of unicorns and fairies, or going on some crazy adventure in outer space! An imaginative mind like mine can run a little TOO wild at times. Maybe that's why I love reading and being read to so much - it feeds my overactive imagination in the best way possible.Well, those are some of the highlights of my typical school day. Wasn't that more exciting than you were expecting? School is just a non-stop blast for a fun-loving kid like me! Sure, there's work to be done and learning to happen. But where else can you hang out with your best friends, play incredibly awesome games at recess, express yourself through art, and spark your imagination - all in one place?I know I'm just a 5th grader, but I can already tell that these are going to be some of my most cherished memories when I'm all grown up. School is the best! I feel pretty lucky to be a kid, if you ask me. I just hope middle school and high school are half asgreat as these elementary days have been. Although honestly, how could they not be? Learning is always an adventure when you approach it with an open, curious mind...which is exactly what I plan to do!Okay, well that's all for now! This kid has got to run - there's a double-dutch tournament happening at recess that I can't miss. Catch you later, alligators!篇6My Favorite ThingsHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I love going to school and learning new things every day. My teacher asked us to write about our favorite things for an assignment, so I thought I'd share mine with you!One of my very favorite things is reading books. I really like getting lost in the stories and using my imagination. My favorite book series is about a young wizard named Harry Potter. He goes to a magic school and has all sorts of adventures with his friends fighting evil wizards and creatures. I think it would be so fun to be able to do magic! I've read all the books several times.Another favorite of mine is playing outside. I have a lot of energy, so I like being able to run around and play games. My favorite is hide and seek. I'm really good at finding sneaky hiding spots that my friends can never find me in. Sometimes we play for hours chasing each other around the neighborhood. Playing outside is good exercise and way more fun than sitting inside all day.I also really enjoy drawing and art class at school. I love getting creative with paints, crayons, colored pencils, and markers. One of my best drawings is of my family - my mom, dad, little sister, and our dog Fluffy. I tried to make it really colorful and vibrant. My art teacher said I have a lot of talent! Maybe I'll be an artist when I grow up.Speaking of Fluffy, she's definitely one of my top favorite things too. Fluffy is a little white poodle and she's my best friend. She always gets so excited to see me when I get home from school, wagging her tail and licking my face. We love playing fetch and going for walks together. She's super cuddly and I give her lots of hugs. Pets are the best!My favorite food is probably pizza. My mom makes homemade pizza sometimes and lets me help put all the toppings on. I like to load it up with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, and extra cheese! Yum! We have pizza night every Friday and I look forward to it all week. Pizza is just so gooey, saucy, and delicious. One more of my absolute favorite things is the holiday Christmas. I love decorating our tree with lights and ornaments. We hang up stockings and lights around the house too. And I get to make a gingerbread house each year, which is so much fun! The best part is opening presents on Christmas morning. My parents always spoil me and my sister with lots of new toys and games. Christmas is a magical, cozy time filled with yummy treats, festive decorations, and family time.Well, those are some of my very favorite things! Making that list makes me realize how lucky I am to have such a fun, happy life filled with things I enjoy. A kid couldn't ask for more really. I'll keep working hard at school and being a good kid so I can keep having more and more favorite things as I get older. Thanks for reading about what I love! Let me know what some of your favorite things are too.。
2020年全国一卷高考英语满分作文
2020年全国一卷高考英语满分作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Big English Test AdventureHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I just took the biggest test of my whole life so far – the 2020 national English exam for all of China! It was super tough but I actually got a perfect score. I'm going to tell you all about how I prepared and what the test was like. Get ready for an exciting story!First off, I've always loved learning English ever since I was a little kid. My parents started teaching me simple words and phrases when I was just 3 years old. We would go through alphabet books and they would help me sound out the letters. It was like a fun game! As I got a bit older, we added more vocabulary through things like flashcards and sang along to English nursery rhymes and songs. Bit by bit, year after year, my English skills grew stronger. When I started elementary school, English became one of my favorite classes. I was ahead of most of my classmates because of the early start my parents gave me. The teacherswould always praise me for my pronunciation and grammar knowledge. I devoured all the textbooks and worksheets, hungry to learn as much as I could. English opened up a whole new world for me through books, movies, TV shows and more.In 3rd grade, my parents hired a private English tutor for me named Ms. Wang. She came to our house once a week to give me extra lessons and practice. Ms. Wang was so kind and made learning fun with role-playing games and cool projects. With her help, I became an even stronger reader, writer, listener and speaker. My conversational skills particularly improved a ton.As I got closer to 6th grade and the big national exam, the intensity of my English studies went through the roof. My parents signed me up for weekend cram school classes to drill exam strategy and content. I would spend hours every night reviewing grammar rules, doing practice tests, and memorizing vocabulary lists. My beloved Ms. Wang increased our sessions to twice a week to proofread my writing and do mock speaking tests. I'll admit there were many times when I felt overwhelmed with stress and fatigue from the workload. But my parents kept encouraging me, saying "Hard work will pay off! Don't give up!"Finally, exam day arrived in June 2020. I was so nervous watching the clock run down to the start time. My hands wereshaking a bit as I bubbled in my name and student ID number on the answer sheet. Once the proctor said "Begin!", I took a deep breath and dive right in.The listening section was first. I zeroed in, trying to catch every word the speakers said through my headphones. Taking excellent notes on the details was key. Next came the reading comprehension passages. I employed my closest reading strategies, scouring each paragraph for context clues to find the correct answers to the questions. Staying focused was tough, but Ms. Wang had drilled into me not to rush and avoid careless mistakes. After a quick break, we launched into the writing sections. For the email response, I made sure to use proper greetings, grammar, and sign off. I packed it with persuasive reasons and examples just like Ms. Wang taught me. The essay was about my role model and I wrote all about how my mom inspires me with her intelligence, work ethic, and caring spirit. Describing her positive qualities in detail with colorful language really showcased my skills. The speaking section was last and honestly the most nervewracking part. I had to record myself answering questions and giving opinions into a microphone. But Ms. Wang'srole-playing games prepared me well to think and respond fluently. I envisioned her smiling face which calmed my nerves. When it was all over, I felt both exhausted and relieved as I turned in my test materials.A few weeks later, my parents received the scores in the mail. They shrieked with joy when they saw I had earned a perfect 150/150! All of my years of hard work, my parents' encouragement, and wonderful teachers like Ms. Wang had paid off in a huge way. We celebrated with my favorite dumplings and ice cream. I'll never forget that amazing feeling of accomplishment.Getting that perfect score on such an important test gave me a huge confidence boost. It showed me that with passion, perseverance and the right preparation, I can achieve any big goal I set my mind to. Who knows, maybe I'll be an international diplomat, traveling the world and speaking multiple languages one day! For now, I'm just really proud of my English skills and excited to keeping learning. The adventure continues!篇2My Awesome School LifeHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm in 5th grade. Today I want to tell you all about my super fun and exciting life at school. Get ready for an awesome adventure!First up, let me introduce you to my best friends – Jack, Emily, and Zoe. We've known each other since kindergarten and we do everything together. Jack is the class clown and always makes us laugh with his silly jokes. Emily is the smartest kid in our grade and helps us with our homework. Zoe is the artist and her drawings are amazing! Our favorite subject is recess! We love running around the playground, playing on the swings and seesaws, and having races. Sometimes we play kickball or dodgeball too. It's so much fun getting some fresh air and exercise. The only downside is when the bell rings to go back to class. We always groan and drag our feet, wishing recess could last forever!Speaking of class, we have some pretty cool teachers at our school. My favorite is Mrs. Henderson who teaches us science. She does all these wild experiments like making volcanos erupt with baking soda and vinegar. Once, she even brought her pet tarantula to show us! I'm not gonna lie, I was a little freaked out at first, but it was still awesome. Then there's Mr. Daniels, the gym teacher. He's kind of crazy but in a good way. He makes us do all these wacky exercises like crab walking and bunny hopping. We get so sweaty but we're always laughing because he's just so funny. Sometimes I wish he was my regular teacher! One of the best parts of the day is lunchtime in the cafeteria. The food isn't exactly gourmet, but it beats a boring old sandwich any day. My favorite is definitely Taco Tuesday – I could eat my weight in those things! And you can't forget about the chocolatey, gooey desserts. Ok, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned those or my mom will kill me...After school, there are so many fun clubs and activities to join. I'm in the art club, where we get to paint, sculpt with clay, and put our creativity to the test. Jack is on the basketball team and is actually pretty good. Emily obviously joined the math club because she's a total brainiac. And Zoe takes dance classes where she gets to pirouette and grand jete all over the place. When we're not doing extracurriculars, we love just hanging out at each other's houses. We'll play video games, watch movies, have sleepovers, you name it. My mom makes the best snacks like her famous triple chocolate chunk cookies. We'll stuffourselves silly and then run around outside to work off all those calories. And the carnival is just insane! There are rides, games, face painting, cotton candy — you get the picture. Emily always chickens out of going on the biggest roller coaster but Zoe has no fear. Me and Jack will ride that beast until we puke. Ok, maybe I shouldn't have said that either...my mom's gonna kill me twice!Anyway, that's a taste of my awesome school life. It's not all fun and games, sure, but where else can you learn crazy science experiments, play endless games at recess, and eat moderately edible cafeteria food? Nowhere, that's where! Elementary school is just the best.So that's it from me, dudes. I've got math homework to struggle through (ugh) and then I'm headed to Jack's place for a video game marathon. This was Timmy,篇3My Big DreamHi there! My name is Xiaomin and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade at Sunshine Elementary School. I love playing basketball, reading comic books, and hanging out with my friends duringrecess. But you know what my biggest dream is? To get a perfect score on the English part of the Gaokao when I'm in high school! Crazy, right? How could a little kid like me be thinking that far ahead? Well, let me tell you all about it.It all started last year when my older cousin Jingfei took the Gaokao. Man, was she stressed! She studied daaaay and night, drank gallons of coffee, and her eyes were all red and baggy from lack of sleep. I felt really bad for her. The Gaokao is no joke - it's supposed to be one of the hardest tests in the whole world! But you know what? When Jingfei's results came out, she had gotten a perfect score on the English section! I couldn't believe it. I mean, English is hard enough for me as it is with all the weird spellings, idioms, and tongue-twisters my teacher makes us do. I can't imagine how difficult the Gaokao English must be. That's when I decided - I'm going to be like Jingfei and ace that English test too!At first, it was really tough. I'd come home after school ready to play videogames, but then I'd have to spend two hours on English homework instead. There were times I just wanted to give up. But then I'd remember Jingfei's face when she got that perfect score - she was glowing with pride and happiness. That's what kept me going.Slowly but surely, my English started improving by leaps and bounds. Spelling was becoming a breeze, grammar rules were making sense, and I could read short novels without getting hung up on every other word. By the end of 4th grade, I was at the top of my English class!I know getting a perfect score on the Gaokao English is going to be incredibly difficult. But I'm willing to do whatever it takes through perseverance, dedication, and maybe just a little bit of madness! Why? Because speaking multiple languages isn't just impressive - it opens up entire new worlds. With English as my second tongue, I'll be able to make friends internationally, explore amazing books and movies, and broaden my horizons in ways I can't even imagine yet. How cool is that?So yes, a 5th grader dreaming of Gaokao perfection may sound crazy. But I don't care what anybody says - this little kid is going for it! Just you wait and see, in 7 years time there's gonna be one very happy and proud elementary school alumnus. My name is Xiaomin, and this is my big, ambitious, maybe even impossible dream. But hey, no one ever achieved something great by thinking small, right? The future is wide open!篇4My Bestest English Exam Essay Ever!Hi! My name is Li Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade and I really really love English class. My English teacher, Miss Zhang, is the nicest teacher ever. She always gives us fun games and activities to help us learn new words and grammar.Just last week, Miss Zhang said we had to practice writing essays for the big test at the end of the year. She called it the "Gao Kao" which I think means "Higher Test" or something. Anyway, she said the essay part is super important and if we do well, we can get into the best universities in the whole country! At first, I was a little nervous. Essays are hard, you know? You have to organize all your thoughts and make sure everything flows together nicely. But Miss Zhang reminded us about all the great essay writing tips she's taught us this year. The first step is coming up with a really attention-grabbing introduction. Miss Zhang says you need a "hook" right at the start to draw the reader in. Then you state your main idea or thesis clearly. For my essay, I decided to open with a rhetorical question: "What is the greatest quality a person can possess?" Then I gave my thesis that determination and perseverance are the keys to success. For the body paragraphs, I made sure to follow the classic five-paragraph format we learned. I had three main supporting points with lots of detailed examples and explanations for each one. My first body paragraph was about how determined people never give up, no matter how hard things get. I talked about that famous story of the little train engine that kept saying "I think I can, I think I can" as it struggled up the huge hill. Then in the next paragraph, I described how perseverance allows people to practice and improve their skills over time. I used the example of world-class athletes who train extremely hard for years and years to get to the top of their game. The last body paragraph emphasized that having determination and stick-to-itiveness is way more important than just being naturally talented. After the three big body sections, I had to write a conclusion to tie everything together nicely. Miss Zhang taught us that the conclusion should restate the main points one last time, then end with something memorable that really drives the message home. So I restated my thesis about determination and perseverance, then wrote "Just like the little engine that could, a person with willpower and tenacity can overcome any obstacle in their path."When I finished writing my essay, I read it over a few times to make sure it all flowed smoothly and I used a good variety of vocabulary words and transitions. I tried to incorporate some of those fancy techniques Miss Zhang showed us too, like rhetorical devices and adding some idioms or metaphors for extra flair.Overall, I felt pretty proud of my hard work! Miss Zhang said my essay was easy to follow, had a clear thesis, and provided lots of relevant examples and evidence to support my arguments. She did suggest improving my conclusion a bit by maybe using a quote or more vivid imagery, but other than that she thought I was ready to ace the Gao Kao essay!I'm still nervous about the big test day, but I know as long as I've practiced and given my full effort, I'll do my best. Writing this practice essay reminded me to just keep doing what Dad calls "putting one foot in front of the other" and not getting discouraged. With determination and perseverance, I can write a totally awesome Gao Kao essay for sure! Wish me luck!篇5My Big Brother's English ExamHi! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I'm in 3rd grade and I love reading, playing outside, and eating ice cream. Today I wantto tell you about something really important that happened with my big brother Tom last year.Tom is 18 years old and he just graduated from high school. All through school, he worked super duper hard, especially in his English class. You see, in China, there is this huge test called the Gaokao that all senior students have to take. It has really hard English questions and writing sections. If you don't do well, it's really difficult to get into a great university. For years, Tom studied English constantly. He took extra classes, did tons of practice tests, and studied vocabulary like crazy. His English teacher Mr. Wang always pushed him to work harder. Even though English is a strange language with crazy spelling and grammar rules, Tom became amazing at it through total dedication.Last June was finally time for the dreaded Gaokao exam. Tom was so nervous in the weeks leading up to it. He barely slept and looked exhausted all the time. My parents and I tried to help him stay positive and confident. The night before the English test, he paced around the living room going over flashcards until really late. The next morning, my mom made Tom's favorite jianbing breakfast to give him energy. She packed him a bunch of healthysnacks and water bottles too. We all gave him huge hugs before he biked to school for the exam. I could see he was braver on the outside than the inside. After what felt like forever, Tom finally came home that evening. He looked relieved but also like he had run a marathon! We all smothered him with hugs and asked how it went. For the English writing section, he said he had to write a long essay in response to a prompt about environmental protection. Even though he was tired, he felt really good about how he organized his ideas and used advanced vocabulary and grammar.Over the next few agonizing weeks, we anxiously awaited Tom's score report. When it finally arrived, we tore it open right away. My parents had huge smiles and looked at Tom with tears in their eyes. He had received a perfect score on the English writing section We all cheered and danced around with joy. After all those years of effort, Tom's dreamed had come true.In the end, Tom's total Gaokao score was incredible. He got into the top university he wanted in a major city. I'm so proud of my brother and in a few years, it will be my turn to work hard on English to follow in his footsteps. For now, I'll just keep reading lots of English books and learning from Tom's amazingdedication. Seeing him get a perfect score on such an important test motivates me to never give up!篇6My Awesome School LifeHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I just finished 4th grade and I can't wait to tell you all about my super fun school life! Get ready for an awesome adventure!I wake up at 6:30am every morning because school starts at 8am. I don't mind waking up early though, because I love seeing all my friends and learning new things every day. My mom makes me a yummy breakfast like oatmeal or eggs before the school bus comes at 7:15am. The bus ride is really entertaining because me and my buddies play games and tell jokes the whole time! When I get to school, the first thing I do is hang up my backpack and lunchbox in my colorful cubby. Then I put away my homework folder and get out a fresh notebook for the day. Our classroom is so bright and welcoming, with big windows, a reading corner full of beanbags, and tons of posters and student art projects all over the walls. The morning always starts with our teacher Mrs. Roberts reading us a book out loud while we sit "criss-cross applesauce" on the big rug. Her favorite books are the silly ones that make everyone laugh really hard. Once she's done reading, we go over the schedule for the day written on the whiteboard. Every day is different which makes it super exciting! My favorite subject is math because I'm a total brainiac when it comes to numbers and problem-solving. I love raising my hand and racing my friends to solve the questions Mrs. Roberts writes out for us. Even when the math is really challenging, I never give up because I know it will just make my brain stronger, kind of like exercising a muscle!Science is pretty awesome too, especially when we get to do fun experiments. Last month we made miniature volcanoes out of baking soda and vinegar an。

A couple sat on a bench, their hands entwined, sharing a tender moment under the watchful gaze of the moon. The city's heartbeat was a symphony of sounds, from the distant hum of traffic to the soft rustle of leaves in the park. It was a testament to the city's vitality, a living, breathing entity that never ceased to amaze. As the night drew to a close, the city began to wind down, its energy ebbing like the tide. Yet, even in the stillness, there was a promise of renewal, a whisper of the next day's adventures. In the quiet of the early morning, the city slumbered, a peaceful respite before the cycle of life began anew. The sun would rise, and with it, the city would awaken once more, ready to embrace another day of stories and dreams.。

Actually the thorns in their bodies are their leaves. The leaves are like this only because they can stop the water in their bodies from evaporating into the hot and dry air. The cactuses have long roots and they take their roots deep into the earth so that they can get the water from deeper, soil. Their flowers are always small and white. Learning that you are about to pay a visit to a Chinese friend and confused about the Chinese customs, I am writing to put forward some advice.Firstly, I would 1ike to suggest that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes earlier, which is common in Chinese traditional culture. Secondly, if I were you I would bring some appropriate gifts with me, such as souvenirs from my own country. Besides, table manners are also what you should pay attention to. For example, you are not supposed to stick your chopsticks into your food. Instead, laying them on your dish is a smart choice. If you have any other problems, please don’t hesitate to contact me.高考英语满分作文4As the first prize winner of the English competition organized by the school not long ago, I have benefited a great deal from the extra-curricular English learning.First, I usually participate actively in English corner. By practicing this, my oral English obviously improved a lot. Secondly, I also believe that it is another key for me to keep English diaries. I made such rapid progress, closely related to this. But unfortunately, air is also so polluted that they have to wear masks. Each of them is crying, “Where is my home?” What a terrible sight!Mankind has brought so much pollution. Waste is being poured into rivers and seas. Poisons to kill pests in farming and chemicals go into rivers and seas, too. Poisonous gasses from factories also make the air so dirty. The whole balance of nature is being destroyed as a result of our ignorance of the environmental protection.Personally, man can not live alone on the earth. Should fish die from serious pollution, so would man! It is high time we did something to prevent such a scene from happening.高考英语满分作文6People often say that gold and silver are the most valuable things in the world. But I dont think so.In my opinion, to read books is more valuable than anything else. The old saying "To open a book is always helpful" clearly tells us how good it is to read a book. Books are our friends. They introduce us different kinds of knowledge. They lead us down the road to success. Books are our teachers. They teach us troth, science, literature, and philosophy of life. Besides, they increase our knowledge, enlarge our experience, strengthen our character and do many other things which we can not do without them. Books tell us what is good and what is evil. And only books can tell the goodfrom the bad. Therefore, to read more books is the best policy for our young students.高考英语满分作文6篇。

2020年全国一卷高考英语满分作文
探索劳动之美,塑造辉煌人生Labor, a fundamental aspect of human life, has always played a pivotal role in the progress and development of society. It is not merely a means of earning a livelihoodbut a powerful force that shapes individuals, communities, and nations. The profound essence of labor is captured brilliantly in the 2020 National College Entrance Examination's English essay prompt, which encourages students to reflect on the beauty and significance of labor. Labor is the engine of progress. It is the sweat andtoil of millions that have lifted humanity from theprimitive era to the modern age. The pyramids of Egypt, the Great Wall of China, and the Taj Mahal of India are testament to the remarkable achievements that can berealized through collective labor. These monuments not only reflect the technological prowess of their times but alsothe unwavering dedication and hard work of the people involved.Labor instills dignity and purpose in life. It gives individuals a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment, knowing that they have contributed to society and made apositive impact. The simple act of planting a seed and nurturing it into a tree brings immense joy and satisfaction. Similarly, working towards a goal, whether it is building a house or creating a piece of art, gives life a sense of direction and purpose.Labor also fosters unity and cooperation. It brings people together,不分国界、性别、年龄,in pursuit of a common goal. The shared experience of labor creates bonds and understanding among individuals, leading to stronger communities and nations. It is this unity and cooperation that have helped humanity overcome countless challenges and achieve remarkable feats. However, in today's world, labor is often overlooked and undervalued. Many individuals seek to evade it, seeking easier and more lucrative paths to success. This attitude, however, is shortsighted and ignores the true value of labor. Labor is not just about earning a livelihood; it is about contributing to society, building character, and finding fulfillment in life. The essay prompt encourages students to appreciate the beauty of labor and understand its significance in shapingtheir lives. It reminds us that labor is not a dirty word but a noble endeavor that should be respected and honored. By embracing labor, we not only contribute to society but also shape our own destinies and create meaningful lives. In conclusion, labor is the backbone of society and the foundation of human progress. It instills dignity, purpose, and unity in our lives. The 2020 National College Entrance Examination's English essay prompt serves as a powerful reminder of the beauty and significance of labor. Let us cherish and honor this noble endeavor, as it is through labor that we build not just our futures but also thefuture of humanity.**探索劳动之美,塑造辉煌人生**劳动,作为人类生活的基本要素,一直在社会进步和发展中扮演着举足轻重的角色。

1 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. Take my neighbor Uncle Li for example. He is a volunteer who works as a gate guard in our community during the epidemic of COVID-19, and his main duty is to measure body temperature and check the passes for exit and entry. Regardless of the risk of getting infected, Uncle Li is responsible and devoted to his job. Even in terrible weather, he still sticks to his post and leaves no one unchecked. Thanks to his efforts in epidemic prevention and control, our neighborhood has been in a good state. Actually, there are many selfless people like Uncle Li around us, and they well deserve our respect.(114)2 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. And the person I respect most is my physics teacher. She is of medium height, with long and blonde hair. She is so patient with each student that we all like her.It is her friendliness and the sense of responsibility that make me admire her. When I failed the exam last month and was in low spirits, she patted me gently on the shoulder and gave me great encouragement. She teaches us not only gain knowledge but also how to be a good person.Having set a great example to us students, she fully deserves my respect.(104)3 The person I respectWe have a lot of respectable people around us. They may be our teachers, parents or one of our elders. As for me, my father is the person I respect most. My father is a teacher who loves his work and his students very much. He works very hard every day but he will also spare some time to accompany me and share many funny things with me about his work. When I come across the problems of learning in my study, my father will listen to me patiently and encourage me to overcome the difficulties bravely. He achieved a lot in his work, respected by his students. So, in my mind my father is the person I respect most and I love him deeply.(125)4 The Man I Respect MostMy father is the man I respect most. Stern as he may be, he never fails to show his care and consideration. Once I broke a neighbor’s window. Seeing nobody around, I ran away immediately. When Dad came home, he noticed my uneasiness and asked me what had happened.I could only tell him the truth. Rather than scold me, he praised my honesty and then encouraged me to apologize to our neighbor.I learned from this episode that not only does Dad take care of our health but he also teaches us how to be good citizens. How lucky I am to have such a good father!5 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around me. My maths teacher, Mr. Wang, who has a pair of big shiny eyes, straight nose, and small mouth, is the person I respect most in my life.During my senior school days, I did not often get good marks for maths, but Mr. Wang never scolded me. Instead, he always asked me to raise questions whenever I need help. In particular, he was very patient though sometimes I had no way to solve some difficult maths problems. He always said to me, "So long as you keep working hard, you are certain to get success in the future. And with his considerate help, I successfully got high marks for the national college entrance examination.6 The person I respectFor me, the most respectable person round me is my best friend, Li Hua, a 17-year-old teenager currently studying in my class, who is crazy about reading, learning and helping other people. There is no doubt that there are many things that I can learn from him. First and foremost, needless to say, he is good at English, for he has lived in Detroit for half a year as an exchange student. Additionally, no one can deny he gets along well with all our classmates, enjoy a harmonious interpersonal relationship and is always ready to help others. Last but certainly not least, he has a lot of life experience, considering that he has been serving as vice monitor for many years.Hopefully, I could become an outstanding person like Li Hua. One of them is my English teacher. The door opened, and in came the English teacher Ms. Cai, who is not tall but pretty①. Whatever difficulties we come across, he doesn’t hesitate to come to our aid. In some sense, he is virtually a beacon of hope, encouraging us never to give up. On top of that, it is his rich experience and devotion to teaching that not only give us easy access to professional knowledge but most importantly shape our character.Such is Mr. Sun that I have the highest respect for him. (103 words)9 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. My mum, an ordinary middle-aged woman, is one of the people who I love and respect most. Born into a poor family, she has always been independent and cherished what she has had. Now she is a teacher, works well into midnight, but seldom, if ever, complains. The reason why I show respect for her is that she never loses temper but instead always encourages me. My thoughts flashedback to the days when I felt cast down on account of my poor academic performance. Aware of my low spirits, she told me firmly that as long as I tried my best, she would take pride in me whatever the result would be. In the meanwhile, she secretly stuck some famous sayings such as "where there is a will, there is a way" on my table, reminding me to keep a positive attitude toward life. With her constant encouragement and unconditional trust, I regained my confidence and continued to pursue my dream. Were it not for her, I couldn't be what I am now.Such is my beloved mum, a simple yet great woman, like a beam of sunshine, shining me the road ahead.10 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. The one I respect most is my aunt, a middle-aged nurse, always wearing a smile and a determined look, who fought against the COVID-19 during the tough times of the epidemic. Her selfless devotion to her job never fails to appeal to me. With a good knowledge of medical care, she strengthens her resolve to be an excellent nurse and cares enough for her patients. Additionally, it is her passionate belief in what she is doing that leaves a deep impression on me. Faced with the outbreak of the epidemic, she went to Wuhan without a second thought, where she helped to save hundreds of lives. Whenever I encounter difficulties, her heroic deeds will flash through my mind and motivate me to overcome them.Admittedly, words cannot express my admiration and respect for her. What she has done sheds light on the future lying before me.11 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. Among them, the person I respect most is Zhong Nanshan, who has become a household name for his great contributions to defeating virus.Zhong Nanshan, a medical scientist, is a leading figure in the battles against SARS in 2003 and COVID in 2019, winning him the worldwide respect. Every time I see the pictures, in which he is fighting to save people’s lives, I cannot help being moved by him. What impresses me most is that aged 84, he rushed to the front line of the epidemic area without hesitation at the beginning of the outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic. Dangerous though it was, Zhong Nanshan and his workmates worked hard day and night to treat the patients infected with COVID-19. With their great efforts, remarkable results were achieved and the COVID-19 was finally under control. His dedication to work and to people is admirable, which truly inspires me to become a man like him in the future.12 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. The one I respect most is Mr. Huang, my head teacher and English teacher in Senior Three. His teaching has made a great difference to my study as well as my life.As a head teacher, Mr. Huang is really careful and considerate. He regards us as his own children. While he is so strict with us in our study, he does care about our lives. What moves us most is that he cooks eggs for us every morning and brings us something delicious to eat sometimes. Mr. Huang is born a good English teacher because he can always make his classes so interesting and attractive that we all enjoy having English classes and have made great progress in English. We have found it easy to learn English well since we became his students. We learn a lot from him, not only the way to learn English but also how to be a good person.Mr. Huang is respected by all the students. It's he that fulfills our senior school life. We feel it lucky to have such an excellent teacher and thank him for what he has done for us from the bottom of our hearts. (197 words)13 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. He was born in Jiangsu, grew up in Guangdong and graduated from Beijing Medical College in 1960. Ordinary-looking as he is, he is extraordinary in his work. In the spring of 2003, not only did Dr. Zhong lead the team, but also took an active part in and finally won the battle against SARS. Therefore, he was honored as one of the ten of China’s inspirational role models in 2004. It was like a marathon, but with English words instead of running shoes! The reading part was tricky, with passages about all kinds of stuff like animals, history, and even some made-up stories. I had to answer questions about them, and some were super hard! I made up this cool adventure about a brave astronaut exploring a new planet. I even includedaliens and spaceships! It was so fun to let my imagination run wild.Next up was the listening section, where they played recordings of people talking and we had to answer questions about what they said. It was tough to catch everything they were saying, but I did my best to listen carefully. Finally, there was the speaking part, where I had to talk about a topic they gave me. I chose to talk about my favorite hobby, which is drawing. I told them all about how much I love to make art and why it's important to me. ”其子趋而往视之,苗则槁矣。
注意:
1.词数100左右;

Dear Mike,
It’s great to hear from you. I feel proud of knowing your interest in Chinese literature. The set phrase you asked me means
Trying to help seedlings grow by pulling them up. There is a story behind it.
A man in the Song State was anxious about the slow growth of his seedlings. One day, he went to the field and pulled them upward one by one. He came back tired and said to his family, “I’m exhausted today, for I have helped the seedlings grow much taller all at once.” Hearing this, his son ran to look at the seedlings. To his horror, all of them had dried up and died.
This set phrase means that growing against the law of development in things and being overanxious for quick results will make things worse.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours,
Li Hua
