【101】The One Where Monica Gets a NewRoommate记得刚开始看时,有个问题总是让我困惑,即为什么每一集(episode)的名字都叫做"The One ****",后来总算搞清楚了,原来它是the one with... 或者the one where,或者the one which...的意思,有时候甚至简写成TOW,呵呵,怎么样,明白了么?OK,让我们进入正题。
第一集是试播(Pilot),主要情节如下,瑞秋在教堂抛弃未婚夫巴利、逃婚到莫妮卡处。
莫妮卡和调酒师(Wine Guy)保罗约会,此君伪装成离婚后一蹶不振的苦命人,靠博取同情来骗女人上床。
罗斯婚姻失败,因为他的老婆被证实居然是同性恋,所以情绪低落。
乔伊安慰他说,女性的种类与Ice Cream一样多,离婚未尝不是好事。
大家一同看西班牙肥皂剧并信口瞎猜剧情。
罗斯自高中起即爱慕瑞秋,此刻死灰复燃,提议和她约会,瑞秋答应了。
这一集绝对是整个Friends的基石,所谓pilot就是如果播的不好,立马cancel的那种,所以无论剧情语言还有表演都非常精彩,这一集里面六个人都露面了,我立马就喜欢上了一脸坏笑的"幼兽"Joey(嘿嘿,一看就是我这种类型嘛),憨憨厚厚的Ross, 未经世事的Rachel, 直爽坦白的"商贩"Chandler,成熟而又略带神经质的Monica,以及童趣无邪的Phoebe….以下是我觉得有意思的一些词句,一一讲解。
1.Chandler :So does he have a hump? A hump and a hairpiece?这是Chandler挖苦Paul的话,意思是:他有驼背么?有假发的驼子?2.Ross: I just feel like someone reached down my throat, grabbed my small intestine, pulled it out of my mouth and tied it around my neck..这段话是不是很熟悉呀?对,《大话西游》里面一开始孙猴子发狠就是这样子讲的哦,不知道是谁抄袭谁,意思不用我解释了吧,这里Ross用来形容妻子Carol是Lesbian并同他离婚后的心情。

这里’cause 是because在口语中的“简称”,go through经历(v) Monica: Okay, everybody relax. 恩，这是一件小事，大家别太紧张。
Just calm down.约会=date someone, have a date with someone, be seeing someone. Chandler: sounds like a date to me. 听起来像我约会时做的事情。
前面省略了”it”.这里大家笑是因为，在剧中chandler是一个不怎么受女生欢迎的男生，所以他的约会都没什么进展，只是吃吃饭，所以这种自嘲似的说法让大家觉得很搞笑。
Chandler: All right, so back in high school…all right 可以常常挂在嘴边，back in …回忆的开场说法，呵呵Chandler: There is a phone.. There!..这里大家又都笑了，因为看chandler的眼神就明白他指的是他的那个部位，所以呵呵。
Chandler: Finally, i figure i’d better answer it.用figure来表示”think”的意思, figure out=明白,弄清楚，美国人在口语中more frequently 使用这两种说法。
Chandler: and it turns out it’s my mum. 结果是我妈打来的。

Friends 第一季笔记整理！【106】The One With the Buttantique‟sNO.6 The One With the Butt本集故事情节如下：Joey的新音乐剧《弗洛伊德》（《Freud》）上演了，大家一起去欣赏。
在演出现场，Chandler邂逅一位美丽而富于异国风情的女郎Aurora，并开始同她约会。
Joey 因为那次演出被Leonard演艺公司相中，该公司给Joey为艾尔·帕西诺(Al Pacino)作其屁股替身的表演机会,结果Joey因表演过火而痛失良机。
Rachel破天荒头一遭打扫了公寓，但她却移动了绿色软椅(Green ottoman)，使Monica感觉不爽。
Chandler发现Aurora已婚且另有男友，心里非常矛盾，当她继续下一次猎男友行动时，Chandler终于决定退出。

Notice, no fear, no sense of impending doom...某种意义上来说Joey很可怜，很像《喜剧之王》里面的尹天愁，常常对别人说他是一个Actor,实际上却从来没有演过什么真正的Movie,还好他从来都没有give up,这次参加了一个音乐剧《Freud》的演出，为了给他打气，几个老友都到了演出现场加油，Rach是第一次看Joey演出，很是为Joey兴奋，Chandler则一语道破天机，说Rach这样表现不过是因为她以前从没看过Joey演出罢了，言下之意是说Joey的表演不怎么样，他甚至还煞有介事的要Rach待会儿不要害怕也不要有世界末日即将来临的感觉。
而傻大姐Phoebe也补充说这次Joey很可能会演砸了，因为Title上大大的惊叹号都吓着她了，Joey 饰演的居然是Freud! (The exclamation point in the title scares me. (Gesturing) Y'know, it's not just Freud, it's Freud!) ，大概是觉得弗洛伊德这个角色太难演绎了吧，说白了还是担心Joey 的水准。

Friends学习笔记s01e01(pilot) - Monica有了新室友美剧的第一集通常称为pilot，试播集是决定整部剧生死存亡的关键因素。
"Friends"的pilot首播时间是1994年9月22日。
首先来说一下这集中涉及的人物关系：Ross和Monica是兄妹Monica和Rachel是同学Joey和Chandler住在Monica对面的公寓（Joey和Chandler是roommates）Rachel的前未婚夫叫Barry Finkel高中时Ross暗恋Rachel其他人物关系暂时还没有提及各人的职业：Monica - 厨师Joey - 演员Phoebe - 芳香疗法师/香精按摩师Rachel - 无业～咖啡馆服务员（最后一幕）Chandler还没具体说到，但他提到了输入数字Ross还没具体说到，但他提到了Aruba岛上的蜥蜴人物性格Chandler1. 没什么女人缘Monica在向大家解释和Paul只是出去吃个饭，不算约会Monica: It's just two people going out to dinner and not having sex.Chandler: Sounds like a date to me.听上去像是和我约会。
