教学设计
一、教材内容分析
本课时学生要学习的内容是小学英语（精通英语）五年级下册第六单元第三课时，主要环节是just talk。
主要的目标语言有What are they doing? They are playing badminton /tennis / ping-pong.
本部分通过Peter和Li Yan描述老师和同学们打球的场景，引出要学习的目标语言What are they doing? They’re…通过师生之间、生生之间开展活动，激励学生主动感知模仿、学习和体验。
二、学生情况分析
有了前两课的学习，学生已经明确了本单元的话题情景，也具备了一定的英语语言知识和听说读写技能。
绝大数学生能够基本掌握在操场活动情景中描述“某人正在做某项运动”在学习中也敢于表达，乐于合作。
本节课所涉及的句型也是前面第一课时的另一种表达，所以本节课重点是要创设情景，进一步帮助学生理解并学会在恰当的情境中运用目标语对话交际。
三、教学目标
知识目标：
1.能听懂、会说、认读本课对话。
2.能正确、流利地朗读对话，并能够按照角色进行简单的对话表演。
技能目标：
1.能按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读对话。
2.能在恰当情境中运用目标语言完成简单的交际。
3.能在操场活动情景中描述某人正在做某项运动。
4.能够通过同位活动或小组活动培养自主和合作学习的意识和行为。

教学重点：
1.能听懂、会说、认读本课对话；能正确、流利地朗读对话，并能够按照角色进行简单的对话表演。

3.趣味操练
Game: Copy me
每一竖排学生为一组，开展Copy me游戏。
各组第一位学生从老师手中抽取运动图片或写有句子的卡片，通过口型暗示（不能出声音）把信息传递给另一人，另一人以此类推往下传，最后所说句子和提供图片、卡片内容匹配组获胜，在规定时间内猜得最快的一组获胜。
设计意图：Copy me的游戏可以促使学生进一步规范地掌握新知，说得规范，观察得认真，注意力集中才能获胜，这样的方式学生喜闻乐见，还可以帮助他们更好地巩固练习目标语言，为后面的拓展活动做准备。
4.巩固拓展
教师呈现社团活动时间操场上学生活动的照片，学生两人一组围绕话题创编对话。
