2.Describe an apartment and contrast it with a house.
An apartment is a self-contained housing unit that occupies only part of a building. Such a building may be called an apartment building.Apartments may be owned by an owner, by leasehold tenure or rented by tenants .
While an apartment refers to a flat in a multi-layered housing complex or a building, a house is an independent structure which is often surrounded by a garden and features its own facilities.
An apartment is a single flat amongst several others, it is privy to amenities like power supply, water, cooking gas and so on which form a part of the building’s infrastructure.
Living in house does mean that you have plenty of space around you and privacy to hold parties without the fear of other occupants complaining, but it also means that you are responsible for your own security as also utilities.
3.You are walking down a street and see a concert. Describe it.
My friend and I are walking down a street. Suddenly, I heard the sound of music. It came from a room on the street . My friend and I stand , looking from the open window to the inside.we find there is a concert in the room. There is a small stage in the room. Seven performers are standing on the stage. There are several bunch of soft lights shotting on the small stage. These performers are dressed in a black dress uniform, with a blue tie. These performers are very tall and thin.They have
impressional artistic temperament.They are playing a variety of musical instruments.A performer is playing the piano. There are three performers playing the violin. In addition, there are two the performer is playing the cello. I calm down and listen carefully. I found them playing Chopin's Nocturne. The music is melodious sounds, I deeply immersed in the music.
4.What kind of instruments are played in a band? Describe a concert you saw sometime in your life even if it is was a television program.
A rock concert is a musical performance in the style of any one of many genres inspired by "rock and roll" music. While a variety of vocal and instrumental styles can constitute a rock concert, this phenomenon is typically characterized by bands playing at least one electric guitar, an electric bass guitar, and drums. Often, two guitar players share the tasks of rhythm and lead guitar playing. Basic ones are guitar, bass, vocals and drums, plus keyboard and whatever the band wants.
I love one south korea rock band.It’s name is cnbue. I have been to the rock band's world tour concert in BLUE is 4 member Korean pop band. The group consists of Jung Yong-Hwa (lead vocals, guitar), Lee Jong-Hyun (vocal, guitar), Kang Min-Hyuk (drums) and Lee Jung-Shin (bass guitar). In concert, the band have sang their fame song--victory. When the show reached its climax, the band members were full of sweat, the audience screamed constantly. End of the show for a long time, I still very excited. Perhaps it is the magic of rock music.
5. Describe what your hometown is like as if to someone who has never been there.
Good morning,teachers.I choose the fifth topic to give my speech.My speech is about my hometown.
My hometown is MaoShan, a small town in Jurong city of Jiangsu Province .It is located in the southeast of the city, 25 kilometers away from the urban area.It covers an area of 32 square kilometers, with a population of Fourteen thousands.
Maoshan is a national AAAAA grade scenic spot.Maoshan is a famous Taoist which is the birthplace of Taoism. It is also one of the six major mountain area against Japan In World War II.Maoshan has fresh and beautiful natural scenery.since ancient times, there are 9 peaks, 19 springs, 26 holes and 28 pools. The mountain here is not high but fair, the water here is not deep but clarify.In addition, Maoshan is rich in Chinese herbal medicine.
The local specialty is Maoshan goose.it is a kind of pickled food with a salty flavor.Rice is the perfect partner for it.
My hometown almost has no industry. Local residents rely on tourism service industry to make a living. So in my hometown, there are a lot of restaurants and hotels.
6.If you could change anything about the courses at the university, what would it be? Would you have different courses in your major taught? What would they be on?
I think the university curriculum does not make me satisfied. If I have the ability to change some courses, I will first increase the practicum and software operation courses, and then cut a number of theoretical courses which is too difficult. The reason is that the major of students will choose to work into the company after graduation , and the company think the software operating capacity and internship experience are more valued. On the contrary, the company think that the theoretical basis is not too important. Currently, university curriculum system and recruitment market does not match, leading to many graduates lack basic skills recruits,and can not find a job. My majir is more interested in theoretical research. For example, I have the following courses in this semester : Econometrics, mathematical statistics and so on. These courses can only help me to complete papers, but can not teach me how to find a job.
7.Explain what merchandise you like to purchase from Taobao. Then, tell me the most memorable merchandise you have purchased, and why it is so?
I prefer to buy kits and Small electrical appliances on Taobao. I would avoid buying clothes and shoes as well as high-priced goods on Taobao.The reasons are as following: First, the packages and small appliances from Taobao is very cheap; secondly, clothes and shoes are required to try in order to see results.If we relies solely on the site picture ,the results would be unreasonable . many buyers would found the merchandise were not the desired one after receiving the goods; finally, after all, for a network transactions, security is the first issue to be considered.so if you want buy expensive merchandise ,this behavior must be prudent. the most memorable merchandise i have purchased is a blue dress. Because of my stature is short, this dress make me have disharmonious proportions. Also, because of my yellow skin, navy blue made me become very dark. In the end, I put this dress back to the seller.
8.Talk about another course of yours and what you like about it. Talk about some things you learn.
Mathematical Statistics is the study of the effective use of data collection and data processing, a variety of models and technical analysis, social surveys and statistical analysis in order to infer or predict problems, and thus provide the basis for decisions and actions and proposed application of broad-based discipline.In order to solve a practical problem, generally the following steps have to be done: a mathematical model, collected data, statistical inference, forecasting and decision making. I like its practicality. Mathematical statistics can help us to quantify the actual problem. Since conclusions can be quantified.In this course, I learned about the type of data distribution, hypothesis testing, parameter estimation and so on. This course is the foundation for me to study harder theory in the future.
9.What would you change about the quality of life in your hometown, and how would it relate to education in China? If it includes sanitation, what kind of professional is needed?
I was born in a small town called maoshan, located in the East of China. The most important thing I want to change about my hometown is developing the economic of my town. People struggling in the big cities should come back and contribute to the construction of the hometown. We can plant the crops by the scientific guiding. After solving the problem of farming, we should build more entertainment facilities, cinema, shop, restaurants, for example, which would make our town much more like mordent cities. Improving the quality of life is very important to make the young people staying at hometown and absorb much more young intelligent people coming to my town.
Only through the development of education to cultivate high-quality personnel, so as to revitalize the home economy.Also, if people pay attention to the development of education, people's quality will be improved, the home will become more livable.

A major is a concentration of courses that give a student a basic knowledge of a field of study. A major prepares you to go on for graduate work in the same field or for particular types of professions.
Considering I majored in statistics, I think I will after graduation to start a consulting firm.My professional content is data collection and analysis,the consulting company is quite match with my learning content .
