定语从句引入课
Step 1 :复习一个概念,引入新概念
1.什么叫定语?an interesting book
A girl called Lily
2. 什么叫定语从句?
Step 2 :由两个例子引入两个关系代词which and who,并且强调两个概念:先行词、关系代词。

1、站在那里的人是我的叔叔。

The man is my uncle . The man is standing there .
The man who is standing there is my uncle.
2、放在桌子上的那本书是我的。

The book is mine . The book is on the desk .
The book which is on the desk is mine .
Step 3 : 操练which 和who 的用法,要求学生圈出先行词。

1. I met a woman ___________can speak six languages .
2. Where’s the picture ________used to be on this wall.
3. She asks questions _______are not easy to answer.
4. Everybody ________ went to the party enjoyed it .
5. Have you seen the money _______ was on the table .
6. I don’t know anybody _______ wants to buy a car .
Step 4 : 预计难点操练――学生在自己合并句子时,会搞不清定语从句的位置。

1. What’s the matter with the boy ? The boy is coughing all the time .
2. That is the nurse . The nurse took his temperature .
3. She went to the hospital . The hospital opened last year .
4. The doctor was very busy . The doctor saw me just now .
5. The woman felt very sorry for him . She was helping the man to walk .
6. Have you caught the cat ? The cat ran past the man .
通过学生操练,发现以下问题:
1. What’s the matter with the boy who is coughing all the time .
合并句子后,从句符号没有跟着主句变。

2. The doctor was very busy who saw me just now .
如果先行词不是刚好在主句的末尾,往往没有把从句插入到先行词后。

Step 5 进一步巩固练习, 让学生加深体会定语从句从句部分的位置。

1. My best friend is a great sports fan . I see him everyday .
2. Someone stepped on his toe . It was already sore .
3. The Sound of Music was on last week . I missed it .
4. The sun shone on the blue water . It was setting .
5. I often go to school with Zhenhui. She lives in the same building as me .

1. I hope to study in the high school . The high school is the best one .
2. I lost the pen yesterday . The pen is my favorite .
3. Do you know the policeman over there ? He is helping an old lady .
4. I wanted to feed the bird last night . Tom gave it to me as a present last year .

Step 1 作业讲解
第一至三题让学生学会归纳做题步骤与关键:
第一步:找出先行词第二步:判断关系代词第三步:把从句插入先行词后
同时引出that 可以代替who 与which

Step 2 由第五题的讲解
引出who、whom 和whose 的用法与区别

2. The foreigner ________ visited our class yesterday is from Canada.
3. I’d like to see the boy _____ you talked about yesterday.
4. The girl ____ we saw yesterday is John’s sister .
5. I saw some trees _______leaves were black.
6. A nurse is a person ______job is to take care of the patient in the hospital .
做题中让学生学会从复合句中找出从句部分,并加以成分分析。

引导学生归纳出:
1、人在从句中做主语,要用who/that
2、人在从句中做宾语,可用who/that也可用whom
3、人或物在从句中做定语,要用whose且不可以用that代替
Step 3 通过练习让学生归纳出:
关系代词在从句中做宾语时可以省略,其它则不行。

同样是在做题的中让学生学会从复合句中找出从句部分,并加以成分分析。

1、从句介词可以随关系代词前置
2、介词前置时不可以用that
3、词组介词不可前置

定语从句讲练课(3)
Step 1 讲解练习,巩固前面所讲的规则。

及引入非限制性定语从句。

让学生掌握非限制性定语从句与限制性定语从句的基本区别,及非限制性定语从句不能使用that的原则。

Step2 小测(下节课讲评时,通过第二题的第7小题引出三个关系副词why, where, when的用法。

主要讲解内容:
1、whose的用法,学生仍然不够熟练。

引导学生找到小窍门――填whose时后面通常是一
个名词。

2、介词前置时遗漏了介词如:
Jeanne was her friend from whom Mathilde borrowed a necklace for the ball.
学生大都漏了介词from
3、学生没有注意到主谓一致的问题,如:
The watches which was repaired last week have not been sent back.
Step 2 引入关系副词
通过对比练习,引导学生归纳出关系副词与关系代词的区别。

2.I won’t forget the reason why you ran away .
3.I won’t forget the place which we visited last year.
4.I won’t forget the place where I lived last year .
5.I won’t forget that day which you told me last night.

让学生通过找出从句来区别两者的不同之处。

让学生归纳出,先行词在从句中做状语时,就要要用关系副词。
