2000年以来，经过7年的实践与探索，学校逐步建立起有利于高素质人才培养、运行稳定的学分制教育管理制度。我校学分制的实施，更加突出学生的主体地位，满足学生多样性、个性化的要求，教育教学和人才培养质量不断提高。近三年，本科应届毕业生年底就业率年年保持在90%以上；报考研究生的录取率近年保持在23%左右；1996年以来，英语专业四级统考通过率保持在93%以上，非英语专业四级统考历届累计通过率一直处于全国高校前列；学校被列为外交部选拔录用公务员的定点高校之一。建校近80年，已为国家培养了10多万各类高级专门人才，学校已经成为安徽省培养高层次人才的重要基地之一。

武汉大学，湖南师范大学的英语专业则全靠几个德高望重的老前辈在支撑了，前者有英汉语比较协会的郭著章，后者有译界泰斗刘重德。

安徽大学
安徽师范大学是安徽建校最早的高等学府。学校坐落在具有“徽风皖韵、千湖之城”美誉的国家级开放城市——芜湖，濒临浩瀚长江，傍依灵秀赭山，是一所集江南自然之神秀、汇安徽人文之灵杰的省属重点大学。
在十九世纪末清代敬敷书院和二十世纪初创办的安徽大学堂基础上，学校的前身——省立安徽大学于1928年创建于当时的安徽省府安庆市。1946年，省立安徽大学更名为国立安徽大学，时有“于京沪一带，仅次于上海同济大学”之誉。1949年，国立安徽大学成建制迁至芜湖，并与当时的安徽学院合并成立新的安徽大学。1950至1952年，学校部分系先后调整并入到南京大学、复旦大学、浙江大学、华东政法学院等高校，安徽师专于1952年并入我校。1954年，安徽大学的师范学院和农学院分别建院，本部改名为安徽师范学院。1958年，安徽省委决定，将安徽师范学院的部分文科系(科)调整到合肥，建立合肥师范学院；同时将物理系部分师生调入新建的合肥大学(后改名为安徽大学)。1960年，安徽师范学院更名为皖南大学，刘少奇同志题写了校名。1968年，皖南大学更名为安徽工农大学。1970年，合肥师范学院撤消，大部分系(科)迁回安徽工农大学。1972年，经国务院批准，学校正式定名为安徽师范大学，郭沫若同志题写了校名。2005年，芜湖师范专科学校整体并入安徽师范大学。

安徽大学外语学院团学组织介绍一、外语学院学生会安徽大学外语学院学生会是在院党委的领导下、院团委的指导下开展工作。
遵循学校、学院规章制度，依靠全院学生开展工作的学生群众性组织，是外语学院开展学生团学工作、联系学生的纽带和桥梁。
安徽大学外语学院学生会本着“传承五四精神、弘扬我院优秀传统”的理念，促进广大同学的德、智、体全面发展，倡导和组织自我管理、自我教育、自我服务，开展健康有益、丰富多彩的课外活动和社会实践，真正做到全心全意为同学服务。
安徽大学外语学院学生会于2014年经过部门改革后，由之前的办公室、组织部、学习部、实践部、文体部、宣传部、外联部、学生权益部8个部处改为现在的7个部处。
目前，安徽大学外语学院学生会下设办公室、学习部、实践部、生活部、联络部、文艺部、体育部7个部处，并分工明确、运作协调、紧密联系广大同学开展学生工作。
办公室是学生会的内务职能部门。
主要职责为：一是负责学生会制度建设和文件档案管理；二是负责学生会公共物品管理，物资的采购、保管、分配；三是负责学生会的会务工作；四是受权开展学生会工作进程监督工作，协调各部门工作的开展；五是负责我院全体团员的团费收缴及档案收集整理工作；六是直接对主席团负责，完成主席团布置的各项工作；七是服从学院团组织建设和团学工作大局，完成学院团委交办的其他任务等。
学习部是学生会的职能部门。
主要职责为：一是组织开展全院性的有利于专业学习的各种学习、科研、学术活动，二是配合学院做好学风建设，整合学术文化资源，适时举办学术文化论坛。
三是构建学生会学习资源共享平台和举办学习交流会，营造我院良好的学习氛围。
四是帮助解决广大同学学习方面的各类问题。

每个暑假来临时我都会踌躇满志地给两个月的假期作个规划，而最终往往是在家闷着看了两个月的电视。

Anhui University, the key comprehensive provincial institution, is located in Hefei, the beautiful capital city of Anhui Province. Founded in 1928 in Anqing and moved to Hefei in 1958, Anhui University is now a well developed higher institution supported by the government under the State 211 Project.
