听说课教学设计框架

Teaching objectives:

By the end of this class, the students will be able to:

1. describe one’s own sporting ability, using the words he/ she has learned

2. report a survey about sports, using “all, most, some, a few, none”.

3. complete some sentences with the help of the forms.

4. have the courage to compete, cooperate and listen to others….

Teaching contents:

1. learn the news words or phrases: skate,skate-board, surf, dive, play tennis。

2. learn the pronouns:all,most, some, a few, none。

3. learn how to report the result of a survey

Teaching procedure:

Step 1. Warming-up and leading-in

Step 2. Pre-listening

1. play the slide-show or PPT. Present the new words…Ask the Ss to follow.

2. Ask and answer using the new words.

3. pair work to consolidate the words.

Step 3 While-listening

1. Listen to the tape, filling in the forms. (repeat or read aloud the dialogue)

2. Ask the Ss work in pairs, using the information in the forms.

3. Work in groups (or whole class), using the important structure, asking and answering.

4. summarize the structure and explain it.

Step 4 Post-listening

1. Extension:

Choose a similar topic (e.g. other sports events), do a survey and write down the results.

2. Ask the group leader to report the survey. (learn the five words: all, most, some, a few, none)

3. Ask other students to report the survey, using the pronouns.

4. Show some new pictures, asking Ss to make a dialogue and act it out.
